[Simple Joys in Discipleship]

Praising God for the giving Cen and I the opportunity to share to Marygold (not sure haha), freshie, today. :) Nagbebenta lang siya samin ng crinkles for their org's fund-raising event. After we have bought (oh yes food!) I gave her the Four Spiritual Laws booklet and told her to read it later. Then maya-maya umupo siya since wala naman daw siyang class. So I took the opportunity and said, "Ay ganun ba, gusto mo bang ishare sayo ni Cen yang booklet?" And the spiritual convo started... Congrats Cen! You just had your first actual witnessing. Sabi sayo eh madali lang ishare si Jesus! [by the power of the Holy Spirit opkors] We trust God for whatever the result of our sharing since nag-obey naman kami. :) Looking forward to more witnessing times with my disciples :))

So have you ever had God put you around a bunch of people you KNEW did not “know Jesus like I know Jesus” - (head wiggle attached)...um Kaaaaa...

And to be honest I was not in a happy happy joy joy place in my day when I get invited to this thing, for the bday bbq of a friend and sister in Christ, but I love chiki, she young in her walk...but I know her wife is naturalistic wicca... and the new people were that ... New people.. So me being me.. I am in my Spirit going okay Father... which one am I witnessing too?  who needs you most... and I get nothing.. 

So I walk in and all is well...all is well... I am my self...all Jesus Freakish talking bout Father’s Grace .... and Thank you Jesus that... and no weapon formed against me....and I got to hang out with people I liked.. enjoy some good food and Just Be Me ... the way God intended me .. bantering with the teens... playing with the animals... talking about kids and education and standardized testing... oh and enjoying the BESTEST pineapple upside down cake I have EVER tasted..

If you don’t, other people may miss out on the blessings that come from knowing the truth. Strive to re-express a truth of God to yourself clearly and understandably, and God will use that same explanation when you share it with someone else. But you must be willing to go through God’s winepress where the grapes are crushed. You must struggle, experiment, and rehearse your words to express God’s truth clearly. Then the time will come when that very expression will become God’s wine of strength to someone else. But if you are not diligent and say, “I’m not going to study and struggle to express this truth in my own words; I’ll just borrow my words from someone else,” then the words will be of no value to you or to others. Try to state to yourself what you believe to be the absolute truth of God, and you will be allowing God the opportunity to pass it on through you to someone else. Always make it a practice to stir your own mind thoroughly to think through what you have easily believed. Your position is not really yours until you make it yours through suffering and study. Homeless

Man, words can't express how much i love the homeless people i get to visit. I hadn't been able to see them in over a month for various reasons, and tonight was the first night since before track season started that i got to go see them. I got to give becky a hug and got to give smokey his cds. They're leaving for an apartment on the first. They gave me their numbers :). Then, i got to hang out with Kyron who's just a clown...dude had me rollin. And, we got to meet a random drunk guy that was yelling at us. He was quite funny. And, i also got to talk to this other Christian for like half an hour about Jesus things. It was great. I just love it. I mean, my heart hurts alot for them, and it makes me want to help my city. Then, there are times like tonight where we're just laughing the whole time. God know's i needed that this week. There was alot of hope displayed to me tonight. 

I look at these people, and i see the image of God. That's their true identity. They just need to be redeemed. Then they'll know who they were made to be. Same goes with me. Same goes with you. It's all because of the Gospel.
