I've referenced before and find it pertinent again to quote a famous French architect, Le Corbusier, who talked about, "eyes which do not see." There's so many messages in movement. I’m very excited to announce that “Hiatus” It’s finished and has been professionally photographed! I’m just waiting on the Hi-Res file for prints and for the ending sequence of the Time lapse video that is otherwise finished as well. This will be the largest Graphite exclusive drawing on this scale in my library I think. It was a fantastic journey seeing this thing slowly come to life, and now I think it’s time to put my focus into all of the different media I’ve been learning about in the last year or two. Really excited to see what comes of Watercolor, Sculpture and Mold Making with Drawing always being the foundational backbone of my work as I head into this next chapter of my process. • I’m realizing more and more that being overwhelmed is a part of the process and it’s something that I’ll need to mindfully embrace to accomplish even the simplest goal of generating consistent and frequent work. This huge drawing’s message revealed itself to me over time and I wrote it out in a contract in the piece itself: “Surrender to Bliss and Endure through Suffering”. I’ll be releasing some in-progress shots of Hiatus here soon. Stealing is not nice.

Dear Tumblr user who copies, re-edits and/or re-posts and doesn’t give me an ounce of credit,

That really hurts.  Especially when hardly anyone is following my social media, and I see that hundreds of people have re-posted or liked this image from your Tumblr.  I work so hard on creating these images and all I want to do is share them with others who may connect with what they see.  It feels good knowing that people like it, but on the other hand it feels empty and awful that you weren’t kind enough to credit my hard work, and then took the liberty of re-editing my art to suit your taste.  

I don’t want to watermark my images.  I want people to see them.  I’m glad you shared, but all I ask is that you link back to my original image if you like it enough to share, otherwise it feels like you stole from me.  And again, that really hurts.
