Brewed on #internationalwomensday by Senior Brewer/magician @naisjnr , my OG Instabeergirl crush and awesome Venue Manager @beerisagirlsdrink and bartender extraordinaire @alyssabramford , Measures Up is a tart, dark fruity delight. . It pours a deep burgundy with purple hue. Aromas of dark berries and chocolate. Lip-smacking berry jam flavours, a hint of cola, more chocolate, a touch of earthiness. Tart balances the sweet and keeps me going back for more. It’s gluggable - and gone before I know it. . Get some before it’s sold out! I got mine from the @shapeshifterbrewingco Taproom yesterday. . Malt: Ale, Rolled Oats, Pale Wheat, Gladiator, Shepherds Delight, Eclipse Wheat

Brewery: @bigshedbeer x @shapeshifterbrewingco Beer: Save the Date - Sticky Date Strong Ale ABV: 6.8% I’m sure by now everyone knows that I’m quickly becoming the annoying @bigshedbeer fan girl, but you know what? I give Zero F**** , they continue to pump out amazing beer and they have the most amazing crew, it really is like going to have a beer with friends (even the guys that aren’t my real friends) and even though my Insta love for them is probably quite annoying they very much indulge me 🤣 As soon as I saw this brew creep into my feed I knew I had to get all up and around it, I mean it sounded god damn amazing but it was also a collab with another dead set amazing brewery @shapeshifterbrewingco (I repeat, hurry up with that tap room guys !! 😂) so I pretty much knew from the get go it was gonna be a winner and yep, it’s a f***** WINNER! This thing is so so good, it’s full on caramelly (not a word) and cakey and datey and vanillarrrrrry (all not words) it’s so so comforting and thanks to the sneaky little tip from the legend Skip that it gets better as it warms up I was well and truely in flavour town. NEW SA BREWERY. @shapeshifterbrewingco have just launched their first two beers into the wild with a 3.5 percent session ale and a single hop pale ale that uses Idaho 7. The session has bready and biscuit malt notes, with a touch of tropical hops finishing really quite dry. The pale is a little more hop heavy with more stone fruit characters shining through but again some bready malts and caramel from the crystal. Two more new beers to add to the @shapeshifterbrewingco range and while a lot of people are frothing over the hopped up hazy beers, it their Pilsner that has really caught my eye. Clean and crisp but heaps of hop punch from new world, NZ hops Pacifica and Wakatu.
