My char: Colton, playby Jake Abel

Patrick's char: Trey, playby Tyler Posey

Colton and Trey are childhood best friends, growing up right next door to each other.  After their senior year of high school, Trey goes off to college while Colton goes to community college.  They still keep in touch, mainly through texting with the occasional Skype.  As the year goes on, Colton starts to realize he misses Trey.  At first he assumes it's because they've been practically inseparable since they were kids.  But then it becomes clear that there's something more and that he actually has feelings for Trey, a new development for him.  Finally the school year ends and Trey moves back, causing Colton's feelings to intensify.  One night after cruising around in Colton's pickup, they find themselves parked in a field not far from their home.  They start talking about things, and without meaning to Colton leans over and kisses Trey.  There's a tense moment before Trey says he needs to get home.  Colton drives him home in silence and Trey gets out without saying a word, leaving Colton to wonder if he just royally fucked up their friendship.
