Welp time to expose myself.

How many words have you written this year?

This year I published chapters 7-11 of wirip. Including the unpublished words, I've written over 120k for that. The small fics I've posted this year add up to just over 5k, while my unpublished zine fics is another 11.5 ish k words. So in total, roughly 137,000 words, plus minus! Though, I'm still planning on writing a lot more this year.

19. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?

Probably Kinkance (Kinkade/Lance) tbh. Since wirip is ending, I'm gonna try and write some one-shots in the same universe, including the kinkance post-wirip au! Other than that, I'm planning to stick most to gen as always. I've got a couple one-shot ideas for shance/klance but nothing concrete yet. I might also try my hand in writing a wrightworth fic but We Shall See.

hello!! so! we’re finally able to post our full pieces for the @shanced-wedding zine!!

for this, i worked in collaboration with @wajjs , who wrote the cutest fic, y’all should go read it here!!

i want to thank so much to the mods of this zine for making it possible, i had a lot of fun, and the things people came up with were amazing and super cute!

Update!!

The zines are here and we are now preparing to ship! We are still waiting on some of the merch to come in, so the zine only orders are going to be sent out tomorrow. As soon as the rest of the stuff comes in, which should be just before Christmas, we will send those out.

Victorian Shance Zine Preview

For as long as they could remember, they were at least aware of each other. Afterall, they’ve lived in the same house their entire lives. However, in recent memory, they were exchanging glances that lasted a bit too long to be a coincidence.

Their new dynamic stuck out to Lance, who’d been keeping his eye on the man for longer than he’d like to admit. He kept returning to it in his head whenever he could; which included right then, in the library. When he should have been studying. In was late at night, since he put it off earlier.

A loud knock at the window jolted him from his daydream and he looked to the window. He squinted in the dim light and was just barely able to make out the figure of a man. He put his book down and crept closer to the window, unlatched it and cracked it open a tad.

“Mr. Shirogane?”

“Mr. McClain,” he nodded his head in greeting, his hands behind his back. They stared at each other a moment.

“Is there something you needed, Mr. Shirogane?” He asked politely.

“Oh yes, I apologize,” he said suddenly flustered, pulling a bundle of flowers from behind his back. He held them out toward Lance, who took them carefully in his arms. “They’re called stock flowers, they’re quite in abundance in the greenhouse right now, I thought you might like some,” he explained. Lance smiled softly and carefully ran a finger over a single bloom.

No Hard Feelings- a Shance fic and zine

Hello!! I’m Jess, I and my friend @yawarakaiarts have collaborated to give you guys an amazing fic and fanart shance zine of our Camp Voltron AU!

“That’s Lance,” Keith muttered, realising Shiro had been a little distracted.  

“Oh, yeah I figured. He seems like a good guy.” Lance seemed full of energy compared to how he had bumped into him before. His playful smile drew his eye and the sparkles of mischief in his sharp eyes wasn’t what he expected, and there seemed to be energy bouncing around in him; he seemed always to be throwing his arms around and shifting from foot to foot as he bickered with Pidge.

This guy didn’t seem at all like how Keith makes him out to be…

Fic summary: Keith has a funny way of getting Shiro out of his apartment. It had been a rough year of recovery after coming back from a traumatic service in the Garrison Airforce, and instead of turning his apartment into a permanent den of despair and darkness, Keith signed him up to become a camp counsellor to force him out into the world again.

Which might have been fine. If only it didn’t include zero privacy, about 12 small children completely under his care and a really hot councillor sharing his bunk bed.

And for Lance, there was something about Shiro he was sure he remembers, from a dream or maybe just many years ago. He will have to wait to find out that this wasn’t the first time he’s met Takashi Shirogane.
