I actually used Tumblr live for the first time to stream while drawing this piece. Honestly, it's pretty easy to stream my desktop screen on Tumblr live. All you need is OBS

This show is truly outrageous! I’ve been binge watching the episodes (that are free on YouTube) whenever I have free time in school and this is the first show where a house catches on fire, another house blows up and a rock band take control of a construction vehicle all in the same episode.

This 80's cartoon is called Jem. It's truly, truly, truly outrageous.

Jem is Jerrica's drag persona and she uses light constructs as makeup and couture.

The songs, makeup, costume changes and nonsensical teen drama / history plot (holes) and more glitter and pink than a collision between a Kylie's and a Nicki's show, gave joy, laughter (and even visibility, representation) and also dreams of slay on a stage to so many kids.

I haven't drawn humans in quite a while so I decided to try getting back into it with some Jem screenshot redraws. The order of them is pretty random. I just picked stuff that felt like it'd be fun to do.

I'm hoping to post more Jem fanart than I currently have been. I got a buttload of pencil crayons that I really like and I just want to keep using them.

By the way, I must tell you guys that I got the colour I used for most of Pizzazz's hair from a pack of "Colors of Kindness" pencil crayons. Pizzazz is the kindest character, clearly.
