Why Psychedelics Are Not Necessarily Therapy's Next Frontier
Embarking on a journey of self-discovery and connection with the universe doesn’t always require the aid of psychedelics. Many of the profound transformations and experiences attributed to these substances can also be achieved through shamanic practices and exercises, offering a natural and substance-free pathway to similar states of consciousness and enlightenment. Imagine tapping into the deep…

The need to go into the depths of our inner landscapes is more important than ever in our busy world. Shamanic Journeying is an age-old technique with roots in indigenous cultures all over the world. It provides a profound route to healing, spiritual connection, and self-discovery. Several indigenous societies have a long-standing history of shamanic wandering. Shamans, or those who practice shamanic healing, enter altered states of consciousness in order to converse with spirits, ask for advice, and recover data that is beneficial to both people and groups.

I dislike BNHA's extra ending. Of course, there are many things that I like seeing in it, especially Class 1-A interactions. But honestly, it sets off a very bitter tone against the hopeful ending of chapter 430.
IzuOcha leaning into being canon is eh- just a meh to me. No hate to Ochako, Izuku, or the couple as a whole. I just honestly don't give a f. And to be honest, Ochako is a good character and will be a good lover for Izuku. They are cute together even if the build-up is not perfect, lacking in some places. They get a green light for me.
Now onto Izuku and Katsuki. Oh boy, am I disappointed? Yes??? Very much actually. Listen, as much as I am a BKDK shipper, I actually never put much hope into them being canon. There are a few times I had more hopes but I always think that BNHA will end with no ships for Izuku being confirmed. But put aside shipping for a second here, romantic or platonic, Izuku and Katsuki's relationship as a whole always is fascinating to me. And they always have been set up to be a duo, a hero duo to be exact, or that is the vibe that I got. Like I don't care whoever tf Izuku and Katsuki end up with as a love partner, I'm disappointed because Izuku and Katsuki don't end up as a hero duo or sharing an agency. To quote a comment I see before, this isn't even queerbaiting, we got heroduobaiting, partnershipbaiting, and friendshipbaiting.

Thinking about how Shamane and Kaalaa's stories are both about the acceptance of nature in different ways. Shamane has to learn about the rules of actual nature and the wild, and has to learn to live with it rather than go against it. While Kaalaa has to accept the true nature of a person she's known for most of her life, and how she has to stop ignoring all of the obvious signs pointing to this person being kind of terrible to not only the people around her but herself.
They were both willing to close their eyes to what was in front of them, because deep down they're both stubborn individuals, but they learn to slowly overcome that through extreme adversity. For Kaalaa she was already an extremely humble person, something that Kumar lacked incredibly, so the thing she earns from her experience isn't a new perspective on life, it's a bittersweet realization where she finally comes to terms with the fact that the person she has loved for all of her life was never the kind of person she wanted them to so desperately be. And in a way she gets to properly grieve this person who has by all means been dead for years (not literally but you know what I mean, like the idea that she built of Kumar had died when she was a child and she hadn't realized it and yeah-)
Shamane and Kaalaa are very similar in this regard, and I love all of their interactions in the Mor Pankh event. They have so much in common like the way their stories are so similar and the way it makes me just think more about this one month long event (Mor Pankh is my favorite event so far can you tell)

Yes Kaalaa, in a state of shock, digging into Kumar's bloody and still warm body to get the bullet back from her in a panic to undo it all somehow. But consider, Shamane, a man who was content to live the rest of his life in nature to punish his family in some kind of way for throwing away Kumar without hurting them directly. Shamane who went running back into a place he had no desire to go to again so that he could meet the dazzling older sister who changed his world and introduced him to what injustice was, and how blood ties can mean nothing. Imagine that man meeting a group of people who all ended up in the place he was called to together, and come to find out, one of them is his niece. A girl who was mentored by Kumar and practically raised by her, but he has no chance to celebrate with him because time has done ugly things to Kumar. She's no longer the person who he met all those years ago. Before Shamane could even celebrate Kumar making a new family away from their own, Kumar had become someone who chose hate above all else. Kaalaa had to defeat her own mentor, and no matter how manipulative and toxic she could be at times, Kumar was also her mother. Shamane's character story revolves around his journey away from his family and into the woods, and his first experiences with life and death. In becoming the character he is in the present of the game, he learned to help living beings die peacefully while honoring the cycle of life and death. He would've seen the look of someone about to die.
Yes, Kaalaa digging out the bullet from Kumar's skull, but consider him holding back Kaalaa from sprinting in to see her dead mother. Imagine Shamane going in himself and doing the funeral rites for the sister he had longed to see again for so long, and imagine Shamane bringing back the bullet to his niece with his own arms and hands covered in his sister's blood.
