Welcome to GHOST STORIES - a warrior cats rp with a bit of a cryptic twist.

16+ and aimed towards busier adults, this rp takes a more relaxed pace so that we can all still have fun while we're all still living our busy lives.

GHOST STORIES includes four UNIQUE clans that have interesting and mapped out territories, clan culture and histories, and attitudes.

Will you join Shaleclan, that resides in an abundant, beautiful forest?

Or how about Sandclan - a group of resilient and war worn desert cats?

Maybe Fogclan, that sneaks in the shadows of the rainforest,

or Pineclan, whos leaders refuse to take their nine lives?

Right before the start of the roleplay, SandClan had just murdered their previous leader Coyotestar due to their tyrannical rule that led to the clan starving and many deaths, everything boiling over after a border battle between them and ShaleClan where a group of warriors decided enough was enough, and took him out in the middle of the night. SandClan in the aftermath decided that from now on, they choose who leads them, and elected Kestrelstar as their leader.

Now, SandClan finds themselves having to rebuild from starvation and their relationships with their neighbors. PineClan across the way, however, may be taking a few notes from Coyotestar…

Some miscellaneous thoughts for my fan clans.

Context, my fan clans are set on a state park in kodiak island, Alaska. Alaska has pretty long miserable winters and that got me thinking about how a bunch of feral cats would deal with it and how that would shape clan culture.

Kinhunters, kinkillers, kineaters, all names from the different clans for a type of monster in clan myth. A monster born from when a cat kills and eats other cat during the bitter winter months. Each clan disagrees on how a kineater is supposed to looks

Shale Clan believed that kinhunters were massive monstrous thin cats with jagged split claws, tattered pelts, and black bike oozing down their snouts.

Tide Clan kinkillers are described as skinny with black fish eyes and dripping icicles clinging to their fur.

Spruce Clan kineaters unlike their contemporaries are said to just look like regular cats but have breath that smells like carrion.

Hearth Clan doesn't have cannibalistic monster cats but they do have urban legends of wrong cats or notcats that are rumored to be strange scentless cats that charm you and lure you away to be killed. This myth stemming from tnr programs and what not.

Warriors of Starfall

A brand new Warrior Cat RP server, Warriors of Starfall is set in a fictitious location based upon the Serrania de la Macarena region of Colombia. Join ShaleClan, OrchidClan, LochClan, and AbyssClan in their struggles for survival and dominance in a land just as dangerous as the warriors’ claws and fangs. With StarClan high above and the mysterious Lost Stars lurking in the mists, what dangers can be found in the jungles, reefs, moors, and caves of this land? Join WoS to find out!

WoS is an 18+ WCRP server. We do not tolerate any NSFW content, but prefer to cultivate an RP setting catered specifically to older RPers within the fandom.

WoS is a literate server. We have no post limit, but we hope that all RPers will work as hard as staff to cultivate a fun RP environment. We encourage this with server wide and Clan wide plots, but we also look for RPers who can bring their own personal plots to the table for their character.

Shaleclan drama cheat sheet

-theyre all dead.

Cloudstar: Rabies denier that gets her whole clan killed. Tried to invade spruceclan at the peak of the famine.

Mapleblaze: "Hey rabies is dangerous maybe?" Tries to get Cloudstar to do shit, gives up and let's Cloudstar get rabies like a chump. Bails, takes over spruceclan.

Amethystglow: A warrior that flees into the town and becomes a kitty pet. Her daughter, Violet becomes a Hearthclan cat later

Everyone either gets rabies or flees into the town. When the infection moves down the mountain, Mapleblaze, now Maplestar, makes then apprentice Ravenfall poison the infected with tainted kill and thorns.

Rabies has a long incubation period so there's a bit of a lull between the fall of shaleclan, the coup in Spruceclan, and the infection reaching spruceclan.

Cloudstar, the last leader of Shaleclan. She lead her clan straight into the ground. Fun fact, when there’s a rabies outbreak in your clan, don’t ignore it or everyone will die.

Spruceclan drama cheat sheer

Ashstar: Former leader of spruceclan, during a severe famine he implements a "no kits" policy. He gets murdered shortly after this.

Maplestar: a former shaleclan warrior that saw the tension in spruceclan over Ashstar being an idiot and started a coup and got him fuckin murdered. Is super in love with Saltstar.

Eaglepelt: former medicine cat, poisoned a lot of kits and queens. Gets his throat ripped out by his apprentice.

Ravenfall: the apprentice.

Lynxheart: Ashstar's son. Has a lot of survivors guilt, he was one of the kits that was spared, and "sins of the father" guilt.

Coyotesong: Maplestar's son, Ravenfall's boyfriend. Feels really weird that his mom had him for political reasons to ally herself with the queens. He tries not to think about it

Act 1: Tense Times

There has been relative peace in the lands around Starfall for moons now. The last notable conflict was that of AbyssClan and OrchidClan nearly 50 moons prior, an event that almost threw both Clans into devastating war. The loss of Raccoonstar still sits heavily upon OrchidClan's shoulders, and it is unclear even this many moons on if they have truly healed from the passing of their greatest, longest lived leader.

In the northwest, tensions grow along the LochClan and ShaleClan border. There is no love lost between the moorland's finest and the ocean's great warriors, but tensions seem to be creeping upwards in recent moons. With the quick ascension of two new leaders - Dragonstar taking his name only a moon before Crookedstar took hers - personal wounds and grievances are liable to flare up. Crookedstar will take no shit from LochClan's warriors, and Dragonstar knows all too well that ShaleClan's cats claw first and talk later.

The wet season is at its peak currently, but every cat knows that soon the rains will stop and the lands will dry. Rivers will run low, and prey will become harder to find as it burrows underground or climbs the mountains to find some kind of comfort from the heat. The heat will make tempers short once the wet season passes, and some cats are starting to wonder just when, not if, those tensions will snap.

Beyond just LochClan and ShaleClan, the old wound of Raccoonstar's murder was never healed by AbyssClan. It has been left to fester, and it is uncertain how the relatively new leader of OrchidClan will handle the act that some of in her Clan may still consider an insult to all of OrchidClan.

Act 1 of our plots has begun! Applications are still open for all regular ranks. Our high ranks are now filled. The next wave of applicants will be accepted on 8/01.

Our first batch of acceptances are out! If you haven’t heard from us but did apply, you may have a pending friend request from a bepbep_beaches on Discord. Please accept it!

Our next round of applications will be accepted on 8/01. Applications are always open (at least for right now) so feel free to apply at any time! We’re happy to answer questions as well.

HOWEVER, we do have several high ranks still open. These may be accepted at any time so we can fill those slots. They include:

Fan clan lore: Songs

Shaleclan (rip): Proudful rousing songs singing praise for their fallen ancestors. Emphasis on their own greatness and stuff. Simple melodic structure and an emphasis on call and response. There's pride taken in ensuring the lyrics never change. Usually sung before battles and raids

Hearthclan: do to their proximity to humans and how new their clan is, they dont have their own songs yet and mostly just goof around singing human songs together. Very informal and goofy.

Spruceclan: Less of an emphasis on words and more focus on complicated melodies with several cats singing different parts together. Newer bits being added all the time and the songs are composed of many bird like clicks and chatters. It's rumored that these cats learned how to sing from birds. Their songs are usually sung on nights of celebration, like the first and last days of a season, the birth of new kits, and the various naming ceremonies.

Tideclan: Their songs are odd haunting affairs, melancholic and resonant. On clear nights their melodies echo out hauntingly against the cliffside. Given the clan's precarious nature, due to being at the mercy of the sea, they aren't really known for their rousing self importance. Opting for more personal songs or story telling. Ceremonial songs only being sang when a cat passes away while the lore filled ones are usually for mothers to sing to their kits.

Warrior Cat Oc Revamp

Maplekit->Maplepaw->Mapleblaze->Maplestar Age: Nine years old Sex: Female Orientation: big lesbian Description: A large red calico with dense long fur and orange eyes Allegiance: Spruceclan (formerly Shaleclan) Family -Mate: Saltstar, formerly Dustchaser -Offspring: Coyotesong Background    Originally born and raised in Shaleclan. Had a bit of an on and off fling with Saltfrost when they were apprentices but Saltpaw chose her loyalty to her clan over Maplepaw. Shortly after her naming ceremony, there was a rabies outbreak that struck her clan, so she fled to Spruceclan. However, when Mapleblaze arrived, Spruceclan was going through a famine and didn't want to take in more mouths, so to "ingratiate" herself to the clan, she courted Dustchaser, the deputy at the time. As the famine grew worse and the clan's situation became increasingly direr, the leader at the time, Ashstar, tried to impose restrictions on litters and then later prevented medicine cats from tending to new queens. Under this decree, many queens lost their kittens and many more were never given naming ceremonies. Being an opportunist, Mapleblaze saw the discontent simmering between the queens and their leader and chose to align herself with the queens, earning their trust when she shared with them that she had become pregnant with Dustchaser's kits. With their trust on her side, she started to sew seeds of mutiny with the queens and their mates until the beginning of a rebellion were starting to form. One cold night of a new moon, with all the queens who had lost their kits on her side, they ambushed and killed him on his way to his den. Each queen stripping him of his lives with Mapleblaze watching over the coup. After they finished with Ashstar, the angry queens proceeded to chase off Dustchaser as well because he was complacent. When everything was said and done Mapleblaze asserted herself as the leader and spent her first night as leader naming off every kit that died under Ashstar until morning.    She named Bitterbark, an older tom who lost his son to Ashstar, as her deputy because of his calm and respectable demeanor. After the birth of her son, Coyotekit, she never took another mate, she states it is because her first love is her clan...But it's because she is still in love with Saltfrost, who later became Saltstar. During Gatherings, they still talk to each other and perhaps...flirt? Who knows.

Fan clan stuff

So I'm struggling with the symbols and stuff for my fan clans

Spruceclan is already sorted out since their symbol is just a spruce tree and isnt anything fancy.

Tideclan I'm not sure about, thinking some kind of abstract wave with the moon peeking out? Since their focus isn't so much just the ocean but the interaction with the moon? Idk.

Shaleclan's (rip) symbol I'm thinking could just be some abstract mountains? Idk

Hearthclan??? Who knows. I'm leaning towards two abstract cats next to eachother to symbolize comradery and stuff? Idk

History Has Its Eyes on You: Either Cloudstar (the last leader of shaleclan) or Saltstar (the current leader of tideclan) visiting Switchblade to warn the young molly about dangers and tribulations of being leader and joining the forest.

Mostly just envisioning an older leader or even a senior warrior pacing around Switchblade and then a cut away to a flashback the older cat's first battle and the frame is filled with blood and the screaming of angry cats.

"Let me tell you what I wish I'd known when I was young and dreamed of glory, you have no control who lives, who dies, who tells your story"

As the older cat says this, cut to switchblade and her future of seeing her warriors, their deaths, and her silhouetted successor.

With the first refrain "History has its eyes on you" the eyes of silhouetted cats open up and stare down at switchblade. As the music swells their paws reach out to her and the final shot is the young leader with a look of trepidation as dozens of cats reach to her
