Litton Das returns to Bangladesh for Family Emergency
Litton Das returned home due to a “personal emergency,” but is expected to rejoin the Bangladesh camp on Friday before their next match against Sri Lanka.
Tumblr media
Litton Das of Bangladesh returned home midway through the World Cup 2023 due to a “family emergency.” However, the Dinajpur-born cricketer is scheduled to join the national squad on Friday, November 3, prior to the team’s training session.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) media and communications manager Rabeed Imam verified the developments surrounding Litton.
“Due to a family emergency, Liton took a leave and will join the team ahead of the team’s training session scheduled for November 3 in Delhi,” Rabeed was quoted as saying by The Daily Star.
According to sources, Litton, 29, and his wife Debosri Biswas Sonchita are expecting their first child.
Litton is anticipated to play Bangladesh’s penultimate league encounter against Sri Lanka on Monday, November 6 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi because he is slated to return on Friday.
Litton has scored 225 runs in seven matches, with two half-centuries and a best score of 76 against England at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.
Bangladesh, who finished ninth in the rankings, became the first team to be officially eliminated from the World Cup 2023. The Tigers, however, may still qualify for the Champions Trophy in 2025 if they win their next two matches against Sri Lanka and Australia. In Dharamsala, Shakib Al Hasan’s team defeated Hashmatullah Shahidi’s Afghanistan by six wickets. They have since lost six consecutive matches. Except for Litton and Mahmudullah Riyad, none of their hitters have been able to compete.

List of Chennai Super King (CSK) Target Players in IPL 2023
Here is the list of players that might be targeted by the four-times IPL champions CSK in the Mini-Action 2022 to make an impact.
Chennai Super Kings is the most valuable team in IPL as the team has bagged the trophy four times in the IPL. The team undoubtedly is the most intimate team to its fans as several exceptional players had played their part in CSK's journey so far. Their success depends on many factors like the leadership of Dhoni, the presence of great talent in the team, and the franchise’s implementation to keep the team core intact.
Chennai Super Kings, the four-times IPL champions had a disappointing 2022 IPL season as the team remained in the 9th spot standing with Six points. For the first time in the history of the IPL, none of the CSK players managed to cross 400 runs. The orange cap winner of IPL 2021 “Ruturaj Gaikwad” was the player with the most runs. He scored a total of 368 runs for the Franchise in IPL 2022.
CSK is looking for a dynamic comeback this year, the team is strengthening itself under the influence of one of the great coaches of IPL- Stephen Fleming. However, the team is strategizing to add some new names which can boost the performance of the team this year.
Here is the list of Players CSK can Target in IPL 2023 Auction
1) Cameron Green
The 23 years old Australian all-rounder “Cameron Green” had made his international debut for Australia in 2020. The player made his maiden first century against Queensland at Gabba and forced an extraordinary draw all by himself. That outstanding performance led to his first international call-up as his name was mentioned in Australia’s ODI and T20I against team India. The player had earned recognition through his explosive batting as he hit the joint-second fastest fifty for Australia in just 19 balls against India.
2) Ben Stokes
England all-rounder Ben Stokes is one of the most sought-after players in the IPL, however, he decided to opt-out of IPL 2022 due to his injury. Ben Stokes started his IPL career in 2017 as the Most Valuable Player of the edition with Rising Pune Supergiants where he scored 316 runs and picked 12 wickets in the season, after that he was acquired by Rajasthan Royal in 2018 for INR 12.50 crores and in 2019 and 2020 he had a decent form as he even scored a century in this format. CSK has a keen eye for details about him and they won’t miss this chance.
3) Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Has has emerged as the greatest cricketer for Bangladesh. As an all-rounder, the player has consistency in his batting with a wide range of stocks and accuracy in his bowling. An experienced left-handed batsman who has the caliber to change the face of the match is always ready to do a battle against the top team with his canny aggression and excellent temperament.
CSK is looking for the varieties and this player is good at everything, his bat does the talking, his spin deviates sharply and his fielding is tight as always. CSK has no reason not to choose him as Shakib always rallied his team with consistency.
4) Mark Wood
In IPL 2022, the biggest reason for CSK's weak performance was their bowling. From the starting match, the sharpness was missing from the Pavillion side. Interestingly, Mark Wood has this sharpness as he set a new record for the fastest spell in white-ball cricket history. He broke the previous record held by West Indies- Fidel Edward with an average of 149.02 kmph (92.6mph) in four overs against Afghanistan in the T20 world cup 2022. His outstanding performance makes him one of the top contenders in the list of CSK 2023 target players.
There are other names also that CSK might target in the upcoming Mini-Auction as the Team is strengthening at full boost and these names might be mentioned in CSK 2023 target player list.

Chennai Super kings (CSK) Retained players
To make a comeback, CSK tends to retain those high-performance players which can give them an upper hand even in the tough games, and players who have the potential to change the game will probably get retained but those who didn’t get the luck to shine so far will possibly be released from the squad.
Here is the list of CSK Retained Player list (Expected) as all the teams have asked to submit their Retained and Release Player list by November 15th

Match Prediction - KKR vs DC (Qualifier 2)
Tumblr media
The 59th and semi-final match of IPL Fantasy League 2021 will be played on October 12 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Delhi Capitals and KKR will be playing to go in the finals and claim victory.
Team and Player Preview
This match is the do and die situation for both Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals. Both teams will be playing their best in Indian Premier League 2021 to book the last spot in the finals. The champions -Chennai Super Kings are waiting to play and win the finals.
Who do you think is the winner of Indian Primary League 2021?
KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS
Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last match with 4 wickets. Kolkata has struggled a lot and is now finally here to play the second qualifier against Delhi Capitals. We are expecting the team will be keeping the same Playing XI, who were there in the matches against Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Shakib Al Hasan’s experience helped the team come so close to the finals. The team is now quite managing well without Andre Russell. Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy are the top bowlers, finishing the opportunities for batters to play middle overs. In the last match, Lockie Ferguson looked in form with a serious pace.
Kolkata Knight Riders have outstanding batting skills, which helped them to win the last matches and be here to face CSK in the final if the team won against DC.
The team has a 100% record of winning while chasing the opponent team on the field of UAE. Delhi Capitals will be facing trouble to beat KKR.
DELHI CAPITALS
Delhi lost its last matches against Royal Challengers Bangalore and from Chennai Super Kings in qualifier 1. The team must be careful against CSK, as they have recently defeated DC and know the tactics and playing style of the team.
Prithvi Shaw’s form has helped Delhi Capitals so far. He is giving his best performance with Shikhar Dhawan. We can see a strong batting lineup of Delhi Capitals with players like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer. ShimronHetmyer is a great finisher of the team. The team is ready to beat the bowl out of KKR.
Don’t underestimate the bowling lineup, with bowlers like Axar Patel, and Ravichandran Ashwin, who has even made their position in the WT20 squad. Other bowlers like Tom Curran, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, and Avesh Khan will be playing to get the trophy for the team.
Rishabh Pant must be proud of the team as it is just one step away from the final.
Tumblr media
Other Factors Analysis
Weather Condition
Sharjah stadium will have the same hot and humid weather
Pitch Condition
With time the pitch of Sharjah Cricket Stadium has slowed down and batting has become quite challenging on the field. Bowling skills will help both the teams to win the game and make a place in the finals.
Toss Prediction
In tomorrow’s match, the toss-winning team would like bowling first. The respective team will try to lower the target, so it can be achieved easily.
Tips to create Playing XI on Royal 11
Create a team of potential Playing XI players in the Indian T20 fantasy league.
Wicket Keeper
●       Rishabh Pant
Batsmen
●       Shubham Gill
●       Nitish Rana
●       Prithvi Shaw
All-Rounder
●       Sunil Narine
●       Venkatesh Iyer
●       Andre Russell
Bowlers
●        Lockie Ferguson
●        Anrich Nortje
●        Avesh Khan
●       Varun Chakravarthy
Captain
●       Sunil Narine
Vice-Captain
●       Venkatesh Iyer
Winning Prediction
●        Both Delhi Capitals and KKR are the strongest teams of Fantasy Premier League
●        The bowling lineup of Kolkata Knight Riders is very strong.
●        Overall Kolkata Knight Riders hold a good record in the matches played against Delhi Capitals.
This will be an interesting match and it is going to build stress among the fans of both the teams. As per our analysis of team performance and their history on the ground of Sharjah Stadium, we predict that things are quite in favor of Kolkata Knight Riders.
Conclusion
The second qualifier of the Fantasy Premier League, and sadly the most beloved cricket format is ending soon. This is a mere prediction, which can be changed by the brilliant performance of the players of the Delhi Capitals. Don’t waste time playing the 59th and last-second match of Fantasy Premier League on Royal11.

Zimbabwe seek another all-round show to prevent Bangladesh's hat-trick of trophies
Tumblr media
PreviewIf fit, Mustafizur Rahman and Liton Das could come back to the visitors' playing XI for the decider
Big picture
It is rather apt that a series that has had almost every shade of drama possible, including a touch of the inexplicable when, in Friday's game, there was the hit-wicket-that-wasn't, should have a finale of some sort. That is what we have now, after Zimbabwe beat Bangladesh by 23 runs in the second of three T20Is to set things up nicely for the final fixture.Zimbabwe have pushed Bangladesh hard all along. They have squandered strong positions on three occasions after their bowlers had given them a chance, they have thrice suffered batting collapses, and they failed to defend 298 in the last of the three ODIs. All of those have proved that Bangladesh are the superior side on the whole, but they faltered on Friday, losing it on the fielding stakes. They let go two catches and had another catch fall between two fielders, while Zimbabwe defended 166 by holding on to all their nine chances. On Friday, Blessing Muzarabani provided the early strikes before left-arm spinner Wellington Masakadza took three wickets, including those of Mahmudullah and Shakib Al Hasan. Luke Jongwe and Tendai Chatara then finished off the job. And earlier, Wessley Madhevere, batting deep into the innings, scored 73 in 57 balls, and Dion Myers and Ryan Burl made important contributions. That's the sort of team effort Zimbabwe need one more time.Bangladesh, meanwhile, have pulled off wins this series from difficult positions, which should please them, particularly with the likes of Nurul Hasan, Afif Hossain and Mohammad Saifuddin starring in some of those results.Saifuddin's three-wicket burst after being carted for 87 runs in the third ODI, after having helped Shakib pull off a come-from-behind chase in the previous game, suggests good things. Nurul and Hossain are white-ball specialists who have played their part in chases. Mustafizur Rahman has played through an ankle injury to bowl well in two crunch moments. Those performances, plus the fact that Bangladesh do have Shakib and Mahmudullah in their midst, make them favourites to leave Zimbabwe with all three trophies - after winning the one-off Test and sweeping the three-ODI series.
Form guide
(last five completed matches) Zimbabwe WLLWL Bangladesh LWLLL
Tumblr media
Shoriful Islam's emergence has been a big plus for Bangladesh  BCB / Raton Gomes
In the spotlight
Wessley Madhevere played a match-winning innings in the second T20I, with his 73 setting Zimbabwe on the path to a competitive total. He had nearly won them the second ODI last week when he made a fifty, took a wicket and a good catch, and Zimbabwe would be hoping for another all-round effort from him in the deciding game.Shoriful Islam has so far taken five wickets in two T20Is, to complement the four-wicket haul in the second ODI. Islam has used the back-of-the-hand slower delivery to good effect, and could be the perfect foil for Rahman, if both left-arm quicks play together in the last game.
Team news
Barring any injuries, Zimbabwe are unlikely to change their playing XI.Zimbabwe (probable): 1 Regis Chakabva (wk), 2 Tadiwanashe Marumani, 3 Wessley Madhevere, 4 Dion Myers, 5 Sikandar Raza (capt), 6 Milton Shumba, 7 Ryan Burl, 8 Donald Tiripano, 9 Luke Jongwe, 10 Blessing Muzarabani, 11 Tendai ChataraIf fit, Rahman and Liton Das could return to the Bangladesh XI. If not, there shouldn't be any changes.Bangladesh (probable): 1 Soumya Sarkar, 2 Mohammad Naim, 3 Shakib Al Hasan, 4 Mahmudullah (capt), 5 Nurul Hasan (wk), 6 Afif Hossain, 7 Shamim Hossain, 8 Mahedi Hasan, 9 Mohammad Saifuddin, 10 Taskin Ahmed, 11 Shoriful Islam
Pitch and conditions
There have been no demons in the pitch. The breeze is known to trouble the bails around these parts, and the day is expected to be dry.
Stats and trivia
- Mahmudullah has now gone 64 innings in T20Is without a duck. He is, however, some way behind MS Dhoni's record of 84 innings. - Bowling out Bangladesh in the second T20I was only the sixth time Zimbabwe have bowled out a side in T20Is.
Quotes
"It is nice to win a trophy. Bangladesh have won trophies in two formats, so it will be nice to keep one in Harare. Some people would say it is another game but it is the final. Champions are made in the big games. We will also treat it like a final." Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza, when asked about the importance of the third T20IMohammad Isam is ESPNcricinfo's Bangladesh correspondent. @isam84 Read the full article

Virat Kohli’s versatility, bound and sealed by Wisden - cricket
Tumblr media
Wisden’s in-depth review of teams across formats this decade may trigger a few debates, but there can be none about Virat Kohli being the only cricketer to find place in all three teams. Not only is it a validation of Kohli’s match-winning ability but also the hunger to make his presence felt in any condition and against any opposition. It’s a near foolproof approach that has made Kohli a giant of the game—adept at firefighting, grafting as well as chasing with authority; in short, a run machine.A glance at his numbers proves this decade belonged to Kohli. He has scored 20,960 runs in 386 matches—the most played by a cricketer this decade—across the three formats this decade. The next best is South Africa’s Hashim Amla with 15,185 runs (286 matches), followed by England Test captain Joe Root (14,108 runs, 264 matches), New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson (14,016 runs, 284 matches) and David Warner (13,778 runs, 260 matches). The only player to score more 2,000 boundaries this decade (2,090), Kohli’s batting typically hinges on a proper defence, shots along the ground and tireless running between the wickets—a template he has successfully applied across all formats.ALSO READ: Ricky Ponting names Test team of decade, 4 England players, sole Indian pickedKohli’s risk-taking propensity also depends on the format. When it comes to hitting sixes, he is the most adventurous in the shortest format, where he still averages one per innings, abysmally low compared to other top T20 batsmen. His T20I strike rate (138) may also have taken a slight hit because of this, but Kohli more than makes up by trying to make every innings count. In other formats however Kohli doesn’t take the aerial route much. In ODIs, he averages one six every two innings while in Tests it dips to one six in just over six innings. What seals his spot in the ODI and T20I teams is his average that goes through the roof while batting second—68.66 from 50.25 in ODIs, and 86.76 from 35 in T20Is. That and his persuasive batting in Tests, where he averages 54.97, 74.85, 36.72 and 49.77 in the four innings (depending on whether India have batted first or second). It already makes Kohli one of the all-time great batsmen. The only other specialist batsman (Jos Buttler has been named in two teams, but has been chosen purely as wicketkeeper in T20Is) to feature in more than one team is David Warner, who finds a place in the Test and ODI sides. Interestingly, Warner endured a forgettable Ashes series in England—scoring 95 runs in 10 innings—this summer after returning from a one-year ban for the ball-tampering scandal in Cape Town in March, 2018. That takes nothing away from the Australia opener who has scored 7,088 runs in 83 Tests this decade, just 114 runs fewer and a match less than Kohli. Warner’s record of 23 Test centuries—four less than Kohli—and 30 fifties—eight more than Kohli—may indicate Kohli is better than Warner at converting fifties into hundreds, but overall, he is almost as prolific as the India captain.ALSO READ: ICC Test Rankings: Virat Kohli, Pat Cummins finish 2019 on topDale Steyn and Lasith Malinga are the only specialist bowlers to make it to more than one team. Malinga is a classic case of mind over body, combating fitness issues for the longer part of his career to consistently remain Sri Lanka’s best death-over bowler. Dismissing four of England’s top-six in the World Cup win at Leeds was the latest proof of Malinga’s age-defying match-altering skills. It is something Sri Lanka came to rely on after the retirement of stalwarts like Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene and Muttiah Muralitharan. He was almost always a lone act, unlike the now-retired Steyn, who got strong support from Morne Morkel, Jacques Kallis and Vernon Philander throughout his career. Still, Steyn was a class apart when it came to ripping apart batting line-ups.With 26 fifers, Steyn is fifth on the all-time list of pacers to have taken the most five-wicket hauls, behind Richard Hadlee (36), Glenn McGrath (29), Ian Botham and James Anderson (both 27). There is no disputing the home advantage given 16 of the five-wicket hauls has come in South Africa. But Steyn is most revered for some memorable bowling away from home—like the 10-wicket match haul against India in Nagpur in 2010 that laid the base for a massive innings victory. It was really in 2008 that Steyn had hit his stride, taking 10/154 in the nine-wicket win at the MCG, and 8/114 in the innings and 90-run win on a benign Ahmedabad pitch. Serious pace, armed with the ability to swing the ball both ways, and the discipline to plug away at a spot for lengthy spells make Steyn one-of-a-kind.No Pakistan player figures in the three teams that have six Australians, five Indians, five from England, three South Africans, two Sri Lankans, two New Zealanders, two from Afghanistan and one from Bangladesh. Some of them are automatic choices. Like Sangakkara, who was one of the most graceful left-handed batsmen the game has seen. Or Steve Smith, who now has scored 500-plus runs in three consecutive Ashes, something even Don Bradman couldn’t achieve. MS Dhoni, who led India to the 2011 World Cup and 2013 Champions Trophy, was credited for redefining the way 50-over matches are finished. Shakib Al Hasan is Bangaldesh’s best player ever while Wisden partly attributed R Ashwin’s inclusion in the Test squad as the sole spinner to his batting ability. Jasprit Bumrah too found a place in the T20I team, though he has been more effective in ODIs and Tests of late.Wisden XIs:Test team of the decade: Alastair Cook, David Warner, Kumar Sangakkara, Steve Smith, Virat Kohli (capt), Ben Stokes, AB de Villiers, R Ashwin, Dale Steyn, Kagiso Rabada, James AndersonODI team of the decade: Rohit Sharma, Warner, Kohli, De Villiers, Jos Buttler, MS Dhoni, Shakib Al Hasan, Lasith Malinga, Mitchell Starc, Trent Boult, SteynT20I team of the decade: Aaron Finch (c), Colin Munro, Kohli, Shane Watson, Glenn Maxwell, Buttler (wk), Mohammad Nabi, David Willey, Rashid Khan, Bumrah, MalingaWATCH | Virat Kohli only Indian in Ricky Ponting’s Test team of the decade  Read the full article
