Despite a coaching switch, the Colorado Buffaloes couldn't find success in their 26-19 loss to No. 16 Oregon State. The team struggled both on the ground and through the air, punting frequently and struggling to gain yardage. The offensive play-calling duties were handed over to Pat Shurmur, but there was little improvement in the team's performance. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders faced constant pressure from Oregon State defenders and completed mostly short passes. The Buffaloes only managed 238 total yards, with negative yardage on the ground. Oregon State effectively sealed the game with a touchdown late in the second quarter after a missed opportunity for Colorado to close the gap before halftime. Despite their efforts, Colorado was unable to regain possession of the ball and fell short of tying or taking the lead. With this loss, Colorado's chances of making it to a bowl game are slim as they need two wins out of their remaining three games against tough opponents like Arizona, Washington State, and Utah. On the other hand, Oregon State remains strong with a 7-2 record overall and is still in contention within Pac-12 with upcoming games against No. 5 Washington and No. 8 Oregon in their final weeks of play.

Hello! Happy New Year’s Eve! Hope you’re well. Wanted to say I loved your fic on JAMIE OLEKSIAK!
Do you have any Súper Bowl picks? And who do you think is getting the first pick in the next years draft?
- 🦈
just based on the way things look right now, i would love an eagles v bills/ravens super bowl. knowing this league though, i wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up being eagles v chiefs again. i really don’t care who wins if it’s not my dolphins or the bengals 💀
i know there’s a lot of buzz around shadeur sanders (fine asf) being the first pick but i’d love to see cam ward from miami go high if not first.

Respect the Number
On April 12, 2020 Todd Gurley, the newly acquired running back for the Atlanta Falcons confirmed that he did not get permission from Hall of Fame corner back Deion Sanders to wear the number 21 for the up coming season. In fact, he stated that Deion Sanders informed him not to wear the number in respect to the legacy that he left in that jersey. Todd Gurley stated that, “I understand where he is coming from and if I was him, I wouldn’t want anyone to wear my number either”. The past seven years the number was occupied by corner back Desmond Trufant. Due to some restrictions laid out by the owner of the Atlanta Falcons, the organization cannot retire numbers. Should current players be respectful of the legends and the legacy that a player left in a number, even if the number did not get retired by an organization?
Deion Sanders son Shadeur Sanders did not get permission from his own father to wear the number two at Florida State University, which is the alma mater of his father. The number was retired at Florida State back in 1995. Shadeur Sanders, one of the top quarter back prospects in the 2021 class received an offer from Florida State and currently wears number two on his high school team.
