I read your most recent post and am deeply sorry for this ask..
Could you maybe write chishiya x reader fluff? Like it's cuddles and words stuff like that?
"scoot over."
show: alice in borderland
character: chishiya shuntaro
summary: after a hard game, you decide to unwind. the hatter throws another party, but chishiya is only interested in finding out why you weren't attending.
warnings: g/n! reader, they/them pronouns used, second person pov
a/n: no amount of apologies could atone to your mistake. (im joking, thank you for the request, i hope you enjoy!!)
"well done." you hear your assigned partner for the last game, ann, say to you. she pats your back gently, fixing her sunglasses on her nose. "only a handful of cards left now."
you sigh out, craning your neck to relieve some tension, "thanks, ann. you too, you were great. i just can't wait to leave this place..."
she didn't know whether you speaking about the borderlands or the beach. the place was always loud and cheerful, and while that was a nice change in pace for the world they were in, sometimes somebody just needed some good peace and quiet.
but ann only removes her hand from your back, walking off towards her room. "i understand. get some rest."
a silent 'thank you' is said as you walk pass the atrium, looking down the hallway to see the crowds of people and hatter presenting the card you had just won and returned. everyone cheered, music starting up again as hatter claims another party is to be thrown.
to the beach! grab your towels and find some booze! it's time to celebrate another win!
you see the other executives standing behind him, nodding their heads and following to the party. but instead of joining, you rub your face and stifle a yawn. your room was further from the pools, so you could have some quiet.
sweat dripped down your back and you pull the collar of your summer shirt, trying to blow some cold air down your chest. why did the game have to be held in an open field, with no shade, while it was scorching hot. it's a wonder how ann managed to look so put together in such heat.
reaching your room was a safe haven, and you closed your door to flop onto your bed with ease. the promptly grabbed the remote and turned on the air conditioning, sighing dreamily at how the cold air hit your hot skin. it was almost too good to be true, how the electricity was still on. they hadn't checked on the generator in a while.
it isn't long until you hear the faint laughter and music coming from the party. it was a normal occurrence at this point, and you were glad that not many people partied inside the hotel. it gave you time to close your eyes and get into a comfortable position to sleep in.
there's a whisper of knocks at your door.
"who is it?" you groan, wiping your eyes.
the person replies, "astroboy."
you sit up, running fingers through your hair as you retort, "come in." chishiya marches through the door, closing it behind him. he crosses his arms over his chest as he studies you. "what do you need?"
"i just came by to congratulate the winner of the last game." he states, watching you crawl back under the first thin layer of blanket on your double bed, "the eight of clubs. always knew you were the trusting type."
with your back to him, you talk, "i trust you, don't i? that's risky enough."
"ann told us that you were the leader in that game. i'm impressed." chishiya compliments, coming closer and picking up the small teddy keychain on your beside table. you had found a ball machine and a broken one, so using the coins from that, you won yourself a blue teddy keychain. chishiya told you to just get them all, but you said one was enough. "i thought you would be down there celebrating with everyone else."
you shake your head, yawning, "i'm too tired to go out there. i'm staying in my room for the night to sleep."
"oh, is that so?" he hums, putting the keychain down, "i'm the same. i can't be bothered watching them out there in this weather. it's agonising."
you nod your head in agreement, laying on your back. chishiya was always a nice guy that you were close with. he was sarcastically smart and sometimes got on your nerves. he was lucky you were so fond of him, he would've been kicked out of here if it weren't for that.
"wanna' stay?" you ask, looking to the ceiling.
"with you?" he mumbles.
"no, we'll do a room swap—yes with me, idiot." you grumble out, turning around again.
chishiya grins at your tone before muttering, "scoot over."
you do so. it's silent for two seconds before he does lay beside you. you can feel the heat radiating off him, so close that chishiya could see the hair blowing in your face from the air conditioning.
"what's wrong?" he asks, looking to the back of your head. you reply that 'it's nothing', but chishiya isn't buying it. "you usually at least stop by at every one of these parties. common courtesy for you. are you that tired?"
you don't say anything to him at first, but then, you turn around and lock eyes with the blonde. chishiya is on his back, he sees how you knit your brows in irritation.
"do you miss home?" you question, playing with the blanket, "our real home?"
"of course, who doesn't? these games dwindle our numbers and we don't even know why we're here." chishiya states, looking unbothered by what he said, "it's a fascinating world, though."
"it's a prison." you mumble into the blanket. your knee nudges his thigh, and chishiya lays a hand on the pillow, in between the both of you. staring at his fingers, you reach out and put your palm over his, gently. "i miss home."
"what was your home like?" he questions, eyed tracing your every breath.
"it was quieter than here. i used to cook with the tv going on in the background so it didn't sound like i was alone and that somebody was in the other room watching." you claimed, closing your eyes for a second, "but it was also really nice being by myself. my friends used to take me out all the time because i was a 'homebody'. all i had was work and home."
chishiya chuckles, brushing fingers over your knuckles, "that was just like me. i only had my work. and i worked at the hospital more than i spent time at home. my apartment was a good walk away, so i saw no point, y'know?"
you let out a hum, staring at your hands, "if we lived together, we'd barely see each other."
he smiles softly, nodding once. "i guess you're right."
"but it's still nice living by yourself. cooking for one, cleaning for one." you comment, suddenly missing your bedroom and your living room and kitchen. all that you were surrounded by before. "i've never spent a whole lot on groceries either, only as much as i needed. you don't need to do more than yourself. and there's nobody else to worry about..."
you were so tired. you missed being able to sleep in and not having to go to bed early because you had a death-defying game to play the next day. you missed not having to think about your life to intricately. you missed your actual life.
"you wouldn't have to worry about me." chishiya says, and your eyes open to see the blonde looking back at you with certainty. his hand clutches yours warmly. "i wouldn't make you worry."
"you promise?" you ask quietly, knitting your brows.
"if you want me to." he tells you. your brows upturn. "i promise."
chishiya was the most normal thing about your life right now. someone who just likes to see you around every now and again. more often than he'd like to admit. but he was so warm and considerate.
a swift movement of yours has arms around chishiya's neck, hugging him close to your chest as your bury your face into his hair. he lets out a small huff at the action before hands rest on your hips, snaking to around your waist. the blanket nearly covers all of chishiya, and he feels your hot skin shiver twice before calming down. he rubs your back gently as your shoulders relax.
"when we get back, you'll find me?" you ask, hopeful.
he can hear your heartbeat grow faster. "you will." he responds.
"tell me about your life?" you request.
he hums, leaning back and facing the ceiling again. you scoot closer, keeping an arm stretched across his chest and laying your head on his shoulder. "med student. i work with patients requiring transplants and people on waiting lists, but i'm an all round." he explains, "my apartment is of decent size. i have a spare bedroom that i keep all extra storage in. my study is filled. i have to say, it is nice living alone."
you nod your head, and chishiya goes on, "i usually get breakfast on the way to work; just one sugar and a quarter milk, or sometimes i just get black coffee with two sugars." he can tell you're only half listening, from the way you're playing with the strings of his jacket. but he doesn't mind. "on my breaks, i go to this takeout place across from the hospital. they sell my favourite meat buns, i always buy at least two."
he taps your back, twice you note. and you look up at him. "when we get out of here, remind me to show you." he says, "it can be our spot."
you stare at him for a while before nodding slowly. "yeah... okay."
he leans down to press a kiss to the crown of your head, muttering back with she unknown knowledge, "you'll come find me one way or another."

English isn’t my first language, I’m sorry for the mistakes.

Tumblr media
It was a warm, peaceful night. One of the rare you could get in Borderland, with that special kind of darkness. The kind that made the stars shine brighter and that somehow made you feel safe, even in this fucked up world. You and Chishiya had found this secluded spot in the middle of an abandoned garden to spend the night under the stars, the soft grass serving as a bed. He was lying beside you, looking at you with a gentle smile and running his fingers through your hair. He was another reason why you felt so safe. Even almost happy.
“What are you thinking about?” Chishiya asked, continuing playing with your hair.
You rolled over to face him, smiling softly. “I wish this night would never end,” you sighed. “I wish we could just stay as we are right now. No Borderland. No game to play. No fear of dying all the time. Just us and the night.” You gazed at the stars and your smile slowly faded. Surviving in this world with him was even more horrible. What’s the point of loving someone if you could die in the next game anyway? And what’s the point of surviving if you could lose him forever at any moment? None of this was fair.
Hearing the anxiety in your voice, Chishiya grabbed your waist and pulled you to him, one hand moving up to cup your cheek. You noticed how incredible he looked in the pale moonlight. The scarce light scattered across the surface of his skin, illuminating each of his traits in a way that was hauntingly beautiful. His eyes glowed like amber, and the silver shade of his hair was enhanced. You wrapped your arms around his neck and his skin felt so hot under your palms, like it burned like fire under your touch. The heat instantly penetrated your whole body from the tips of your hair to your inner organs. He squeezed you tighter and you could feel his breath on your lips. His scent was soothing and stimulating at the same time. Just like him.
“Then let’s make this night count.” Chishiya grinned as he pressed gentle kisses along your jaw, lingering when he reached your lips. It was enough to make you dripping, soaking wet. He had a way of making you feel amazing about yourself, no matter how sad or worried you might feel inside. A low moan escaped your lips as he started kissing you harder. He had never kissed you like this before. Not with this much greed. You wrapped your legs around his waist, letting him know you wanted him at least just as much. He finally broke off the kiss and dipped his head lower, gently spreading your legs as he went. Kissing along your inner thighs, he climbed higher as you repeatedly breathed his name. Without waiting for your plea or invitation, but God knows you would have pleaded for it if he had made you, Chishiya started circling your clit with long licks, adoring the whimpers coming out of your mouth as you felt your breathing becoming more and more shallow.
“Feel good, baby?” Chishiya rasped against your clit. You could hear the grin in his voice and it sends shivers down your spine.
“Yes… oh yes.” you gasped as he continued sucking harshly at your dripping pussy. After several long and amazing minutes, he plunged two fingers into the wet heat of you without warning, swearing under his breath at the tight fit, causing an eruption of bliss. He moved up and let his lips find yours again. Both of you were panting into each other’s mouths, hearts thrumming like thunderstorms as you pressed your heaving chests against one another to be as close as humanly possible. His fingers still working their magic inside you, he set a torturous pace and you found yourself being shoved to the edge of climax faster than you liked. It almost wasn’t fair how quickly the pressure was building. What kind of power had this man over you?
“I - I want you so bad,” You whimpered, squirming helplessly while clawing at the grass.
“Want me to fuck you, princess?” Chishiya asked, voice trembling with excitement.
“Please, yes,” You gasped loudly. “Please, fuck me.”
“Oh, it’ll be my pleasure.” He announced with a mischievous undertone.
Trembling, you adjusted your position to allow him to take you properly. You officially couldn’t take it anymore and neither could he. Chishiya looked at you and you could see in his eyes how badly he wanted you. Without ever breaking eye contact, Chishiya got his cock right up against your tight entrance and pushed all the way in with a loud growl. For a man who usually was in total control of his emotions, he was finding it harder and harder to show restraint, which turned you on even more. You were the first to move again and he followed, slowly building up the pace, already feeling his release creeping up on him. He pushed both of your legs to his shoulders, leaning over you, still looking into your eyes and stealing kisses between two moans of pleasure. All you could hear, all you could see and all you could smell was Chishiya. All thoughts other than him disappear. All you knew was the safety of his embrace and the heat of his mouth. You were now unable to think straight, your vision slowly grew hazy, and your eyes screw shut.
When you came with a broken moan, clenching around his cock, flames of arousal erupted within your core. The tips of your fingers, the inside of your knees, the top of your head, all your body parts seemed to be melting with a blinding, intense heat, making him come deep inside almost at the exact same moment, in the middle of a thrust.
“Fuck, Y/N,” He groaned right by your ear as you felt his cock twitch inside of you, which only made your own orgasm more pleasurable.
His whole body shaking from and exhaustion, Chishiya finally collapsed on top of you, burying his face in your neck, kissing and licking the sweat of your skin. He looped one arm over your bare waist as you were still coming down from your fiery high, keeping you as close to him as he could. He squeezed you tightly, pressing another kiss to your forehead, telling you without even using words that absolutely everything was going to be ok.

Shy, suguru?
Fluff x Smut
plot: fem!reader taking niragi home to clean him up after finding him during the alley scene but it leads to more
warnings: long, mentions of bullying, minor mention of injury and blood, virginity loss, dom!reader x sub!niragi (both are slight switches, this comes into play at the end), dynamic shift, praise and degradation, it’s niragi so i’d say dead dove do not eat but he’s not bad in this at it’s obviously pre!borderlands, afab! reader, characters are 18+ in their college year at school
Tumblr media
word count: over 4500
“hey asshole watch where your going!” you groan and rub your shoulder as a group of boys from your year rushed past, one of them barging past in the process almost knocking you off your feet.
“sorry sexy!” the boys all laugh still running and you visibly recoil your face in disgust. It was after school and you were walking home to your dorm block after a long day, that is until you heard the faint sound of sniffling in the alley you passed every day on your way to and from the school.
Curiosity killing the cat as you decide to take a look, it was niragi suguru. You shared a few classes but barely spoke, you were fairly popular at the school and well to put it simply, niragi was the opposite. Shy, nerdy and quiet you barely interacted unless it was for the work. Still you had never been mean to him and resented the treatment he got from others. He was a sweet socially awkward boy that could barely even make eye contact with your classmates half the time, but he kept to himself and didn’t do anything to deserve the relentless, torturous bullying his classmates inflicted upon him.
Niragi was on the ground, crying quietly and with a damaged and bloody nose, desperately searching for his glasses, that from what you could see were surprisingly not broken. His vision wasn’t the best without them and as you took footsteps towards him he looked up in fear. “Please!…please stop-” he pleaded while scrambling to reach for the glasses.
The sight broke your heart. Leaning down next to him and reaching for the glasses, you carefully put them back over his eyes. “it’s ok niragi it's me, y/n. We have history and math together”
His eyes widen with shock and temporary relief as he recognises your soft voice. “y/n..?” He looks up at you, sniffling, his nose still throbbing in pain. “You...you saw?” His voice trembles, a mix of vulnerability and embarrassment obvious.
“no but i saw them running off and had a gut feeling, fucking asshole almost knocked me off my feet…hey your bleeding” , you touch his arm softly urging him to stand. He flinches at the contact at first, but then relaxes when he realises that you don’t want to hurt him, instead fetching tissues from your tiny bag to give to him.
“i know...they always do this” he speaks low as he wipes the blood from his nose. “Thank you for helping me...”
“that’s okay sweetie but your cut needs care. Come with me, my dorm is only right there please let me clean you up,” you point at your apartment block.
His eyes dart towards the dorms, then back to you, a look of uncertainty crossing his face. “I...I don't know...” He bites his lip clearly torn. “I don't want to trouble you..”
“you’d only trouble me by not letting me help you, if you don’t i’ll be up all night worrying, come on honey”, you take his hand softly and he feels a pang against his heart at the unfamiliar feeling of care that your showing him.
His cheeks turn a faint shade of pink at the contact, his first time holding hands with a girl. “y/n...thank you” He takes a deep breath, letting you lead him towards the dormitories. “Thank you......I owe you so much”
“nonsense, come inside with me honey i'll look after you, i hate those assholes so much…” you enter your keycard pin and begin walking up the stairs with him trailing behind you. Your skirt reveals the back of your soft thighs like this and he looks away respectfully, the last thing he would want you to think is that he’s a pervert. He almost let’s out a breath of relief when you reach your floor.
He follows you into the dormitory, casting furtive glances around him as if expecting someone to jump out and yell at him until you softly take his hand again leading him further than the front door. Your apartment smells good, like vanilla and women’s perfume, he places it as your perfume that he was familiar with from math class, the little pink bottle you would leave on your desk every lesson.
“i don't know what I'd do without you right now...” His voice is barely a whisper, filled with a gratitude that borders on worship.
His praise does something to you and you begin to wonder if niragi has ever even had a girl be nice let alone touch him before. “it's okay i'm gonna clean you up, you can stay here as long as you need too i’ll make dinner afterwards i’d love for you to at least eat with me tonight”
His eyes light up at the offer, a hopeful smile playing on his lips. “Really? l'd like that. Thank you...” He murmurs, turning to face you with an expression of pure adoration.
“come with me… sit-” you point at your bed as you disappear into the bathroom to retrieve a first aid kit. He nods, his eyes fixed on you as you exit the room, a soft "okay" escaping his lips. Once you've left he cautiously approaches the bed, perching on the edge and taking in his surroundings.
Your room was a reflection of you, pink and cutesy with an edge of passion. The bed was adorned with pink covers and a matching fluffy blanket on the end, but as he looked around the rest of your room he noticed other things- stuff you were interested in. Posters, collectors stuff, even funko pops and books. This causes him to smile to himself, who would’ve thought one of the most popular girls he knew was so into her niche interests, it reminded him of his own room.
You return from the bathroom holding the first aid kit and niragi shifts nervously, he knew you would have to touch him. “it’s okay i’ll be gentle…”, however you then do the last thing niragi expects as you plant yourself down on his lap. Digging through the box to retrieve sterilising wipes the affect you have on niragi at the current moment goes unnoticed, his face flushed with shy surprise as he struggles to think of something to say.
“okay just be still for me…” you wipe the drying blood from his nose “good boy”. His breathing hitches at your words and touch, the warmth of your other hand cupping against his face making him blush even deeper. He bites his lip nervously trying to slow his breathing, trying not to move as you tend to his wound.
“that's it your doing so good for me, now let me just grab…” the rest of what your saying as you dig through the box is now lost on niragi, your choice of words sending blood pumping in places he wanted to keep under control while you were on his lap.
He watches you intently, taking in the gentleness and care that you are giving him in order to try and control his situation. Singing softly as you rub an ointment on his cut, a soft smile tugs at the corners of his lips, a rare show of happiness from the shy and timid boy. You lock eyes with him and smile in return when you notice, “you have a cute smile you know.”
His eyes widen at your words, his smile faltering for a moment before a deeper, more genuine one replaces it. He blushes a vibrant pink, ducking his head in embarrassment. “I-I.th-thank you...” His voice is soft, barely above a whisper as he stutters. “-no one's ever…”
“complimented you before?” you frown slightly while screwing the cap back on the ointment and putting it back in the box. He shakes his head, looking down at his hands in his lap. The blush on his cheeks deepens, if possible. “…no, no one's ever said anything like that to me before. It’s nice…” His voice is small, barely audible and you put the first aid kit on the bed next to you before placing your hands on his face to make him look up at you “well i notice”
A soft gasp slips from his lips as he feels your hands on his face, heating under your touch. “you do?”
“yep, i think your really cute actually” i move a strand of hair from his face “you don't try too hard- not like those other guys at school, i like that in a guy”, niragi can't believe the sudden outpouring of your words, it’s too good to be true. In his eyes you were a princess, but he knew all too well guys like him never got girls like you.
“yeah, why what do you think? that i like assholes like those guys from school?” Niragi shakes his head firmly, “N-no! Not at all! I-I mean, I know they're popular and all, but...” He swallows hard, his voice dropping to a whisper, “they're mean and arrogant”
“yeah exactly, and your sweet and so smart. I still remember when mrs park told you to tutor me” He nods, a smile lighting up his features at the memory. His grip on your arms relaxes as he recalls her praise. “Yeah, i remember too...you were struggling with calculus.” A blush creeps up his cheeks again.
“and i still do,” you let out a giggle “but the point is you always helped me and was so nice, you never got snappy when i kept getting questions wrong. You were patient with me and never made me feel bad or dumb about it”
His eyes sparkle at the praise and he chuckles softly, shaking his head. “no, I could never get angry at you and anyways I enjoyed helping you, seeing the smile on your face when you finally understand something...” he goes quite in fear of proffessing his love for you, “mmh and i only understood because of you” you smile at the boy once more.
The smile on his face grows wider, his chest puffing up slightly with pride. “really?” He blushes again, looking down at the floor.
“mhm and i never got to properly thank you” you lift his head slightly to make eye contact with him, his eyes meet yours and he gazes at you, his heart thudding in his chest. He gulps, his hand reaching up to gently brush some hair out of your face, the gesture sweet like him. “Y-you don't have to thank me, l enjoyed it...”
“i still want to, can i kiss you niragi?” His eyes widen in shock, and the butterflies in his body start rapidly going wild, “you? want to kiss,me?…yes...I-I mean, if you want to..” you laugh at his awkwardness, “ i wouldn't ask if i didn't want to”
His face turns even redder if possible as you lean closer to him. His hands instinctively move to your waist, pulling you as close as he dare before your lips meet each others. The kiss is soft and slow, so sweet it could put a jar of candy to shame. His eyes fluttering shut as he melts into your touch. His hands grips your waist, pulling you even closer as he returns the kiss, his lips soft and tentative. As the kiss deepens, he makes a small needy noise that goes straight to your core, making you involuntarily buck your hips into his as you makeout.
Feeling your hips buck against his, a small moan escapes niragi’s lips as he grinds back against you without thinking. His mind is in a haze as he focuses on the feeling of your lips and core on his. Until you break the kiss panting.
“baby your hard”, his eyes snap open staring at you in surprise as you break the kiss. He looks down and realizes his hard on is pressing against your thigh. He stammers apologies and blushes profusely, “fuck…i’m sorry i’m-” he tries to lift you so he can cover his erection but you push him back down and kiss him again, sitting closer on his lap now covering his erection with your heat.
A small smile forms on his lips as you heatedly makeout. When he was being beaten did he die and go to heaven? Suguru can’t believe his luck.Your warmth covering his hard on sends a shiver down his spine, and he bites back a moan.
“we don't have to do anything you don't want to, i know it’s your first time, but if you do want to then just tell me okay don’t be shy” you kiss his neck softly.
He feels embarrassment at your remark about knowing he was a virgin, but it quickly passes as you begin to suck on his neck leaving a mark. One of the most desired girls in the school was sitting on loser suguru niragi’s cock, marking his neck. In that moment he knew he was winning, “y/n i want you”.
“are you sure?” you pull away for a moment just to be positive that Niragi was ready. He nods, his face slightly flushed as he looks at you with a mix of desire and a little bit of nervousness. “, please y/n”
you let him kiss you for a little while more before pulling away “,ok what do you want baby?
He pulls back from the kiss, his chest heaving as he looks up at you with a shy but intense gaze. “I-I want….” He swallows hard, his voice barely above a whisper. “I want to feel your hands on me. all over me...”
“That can be done,” i give him feathery kisses all over his face “,can i take off your clothes?”
He nods slowly, biting his lip as he reaches up to start unbuttoning his shirt, his hands shaking slightly. “s'okay let me,” i kiss him on the lips gently and take control of undoing his buttons as i move his shaky hands out of the way “,need you to relax for me niragi”
He takes a deep breath as you take control undressing him, “will taking off mine aswel make you feel better?” His eyes light up at the suggestion and he nods eagerly. “Y-yes, please...” He helps you take off your clothes, his hands trembling in anticipation slightly as he watches you pull your shirt off. He feels his breath catch in his throat, “you are so beautiful..”
He reaches up to caress your cheek, “May... may I touch you as well?” you feel yourself get wet at this, compared to other guys you’ve been with niragi was giving you good signs that he cared for your consent and pleasure aswel as much as his own. “of course you can touch me ragi”. He smiles at the nickname and hesitates for a moment before closing the distance between you, his hand tentatively reaching out to touch your skin.. He explores your body with gentle fingers, tracing the outline of your waist and the curve of your breasts. “You're so warm... and soft..”
you giggle at this “,you like that?” He blushes at your laugh, his eyes sparkling with a mix of shyness and delight. Niragi would remember this as the best day of his life, the events that transpired to him even being here in your apartment now long forgotten.
He leans in closer, his lips brushing against your neck and collarbones as he continues to explore your body, his touch growing bolder but still gentle. “that’s it baby keep touching me” you grind over his budge slightly, his trousers and your skirt still on.
He moans softly, his hands roaming over your body with increased urgency. “y/n..want you,” His trousers strain against his growing arousal, the fabric a thin barrier between you until you stand up abruptly riding yourself of your skirt and he takes the initiative to remove his trousers aswel.
when you make your way back over to him he is staring at your now exposed thighs and pink g string thong. “do you like my panties niragi? you wiggle in his lap to show them off and his cheeks flush a deep pink at the sight, his mouth falling open slightly. “Y-yes... They're very pretty...” He stammers, his hands gripping onto your hips a little tighter. “wanna touch them?,” he nods and reaches out to gently brush his fingertips against the fabric and you moan as his fingertips graze against your clothed clit.
His eyes widen in surprise at the sound of your moan, his movements becoming more confident as he rubs his fingers against you. “does that... does that feel good?”
“it’s perfect, keep touching me there ragi just like that in circles, mhhh that's it” you roll your hips over his fingers. They move in small, gentle circles over your clit, his thumb rubbing in soft, figure-eight patterns. He watches transfixed as your face contorts with pleasure,
“like that pretty boy your doing so good,” you sigh with pleasure and his face lights up with a soft smile at your words, a blush creeping up his cheeks.
“You feel amazing...” this causes you to almost scoff with a slight bemused smirk “,you haven't even felt me yet”. A curious expression crosses his face, his cheeks flushed. He hesitates for a moment betore slipping his fingers under your panties and fingering you gently. You bite your lip with a spark of pleasure at the misunderstanding “oh fuck! niragi-“ He gasps softly as he discovers your arousal. “You're so wet...” His touch becomes more deliberate, pumping two fingers in and out of you at a steady pace. “S-so tight... is this okay?,” you almost ignore him as you barely manage to nod in reply with your head thrown back in white hot pleasure. His ego swells at your response, and he starts to move his fingers faster.
“You're making me so hard..,” he murmurs in awe. This causes you to snap back down before you cum, “can i fuck you are you ready now?” you make eye contact with him as you ask and notice how his widen at the sudden boldness of your words, a mix of shock and arousal flashing across his face but he nods eagerly. Pulling off his pants, revealing his hard and throbbing cock, his cheeks flush with embarrassment as he struggles to find the right words. “You can fuck me now... please…”
“fuck that's hot,” you push him back on the bed by his chest. He lands on the bed with a soft thud, his heart racing at your dominant gesture. He lies there, legs spread open, his cock twitching with anticipation.
“what position do you want?,” He swallows hard, his mind racing with possibilities. “Umm.… w-would you... f-fit on top?,” his face flushes at the thought of you straddling him, your hips moving against his. “is that what you imagine when you touch yourself?”
He looks away too embarrassed to meet your gaze as he answers “yes, ma'am... I... I've always imagined you like that... and sometimes I imagine you tying me up and... doing things to me...”
“your such a little whore” i degrade him but arousal practically drips down my legs at the lewd confession, His stammering voice is now a breathless whimper “fuck... I-I'm not” , his objections are cut off by the sight of you touching yourself above him. “no? then why did you let me take you home hmm? you wanted me to fuck you senseless didn't you, little dirty slut” i tease him while playing with my tits. He can't even form a coherent response anymore, loosing self control completely as he grabs your hips and thrusts into you, immediately bottoming out.
He cries out, his back arching off the bed at the feeling and you cry out in shock, “fuck niragi! you fucking slut i didn’t tell you to-”
Your cut off as he begins impaling you on his cock, the sudden intensity overwhelming both of your senses. “Ah! y/n... s-so deep-...” His eyes fly open when a hand wraps around his neck, pupils dilated with pleasure as he looks up at you, your weight pressing him into the mattress.
“what's a quiete little nerd like you doing walking around with such a monster cock for hmm?” you begin to move your hips taking back control. His breath hitches as you move, the combination of friction and praise making him even harder. “mhh other girls would be lucky to bounce on dick like this, and it's all mine” you gyrate your hips perfectly causing him to whimper.
His eyes roll back, lost in the ecstasy of your movements as he whimpers and moans. “Y-yes, ma'am... a-all yours…..” He wraps his arms around your waist, holding on for dear life as you ride him with expert precision, his body trembling with each thrust.
“do i fuck good baby? better than you imagined?” , He nods frantically, tears of pleasure welling up in his eyes. “Y-yes, ma'am... b-better than I ever imagined….” He gasps as you slam down onto him, his cock throbbing inside of you. “S-so good!”
He gasps as you continue to move on top of him, his body quivering with pleasure and so close to release, “lucky i'm even touching you” you throw your head back with your harsh words, and his eyes follow the movement, a mix of awe and adoration in his gaze despite the things you say to him.
“Y-yes, ma'am... I'm grateful for every moment you give me...” He thrusts his hips upwards, increasing the contact between the both of you. “mmh that's it niragi fuck me!” His eyes roll back, a look of ecstasy on his face as he listens to your demand.
“yes ma'am... I'll fuck you... I'll make you cum on my cock...” He starts to move beneath you with increased urgency, his hips thrusting upwards to meet your downward strokes.
“that's it take control ragi, fuck me!” His cock twitches with excitement at the use of his nickname and the sudden switch in dominance. He reaches around to grab your hips, helping you move faster on top of him. “Fuck, you're so tight and wet...” “destroy this pussy niragi don't stop!” your crying now as his hips begin to buck wildly, his cock plunging deeper into you. “won't stop until you scream my name and cum all over me...”
“fuck me from behind i want vou as deep as possible can you do that?” He nods quickly pulling out from under you and helps you get on all fours before positioning himself back inside you, thrusting deeply. He grips your hips tightly, his thrusts becoming more urgent as he pounds into you from behind. “Yes... I can feel how much you like it... so fucking tight and wet…I'm going to make you cum so hard y/n!”
“splitting me open ragi... so deep” you whimper, he can't get enough of seeing you in this new submissive light, and it only urges him on as he plunges his cock deeper into you. “That's right... you're practically begging me to split you open, aren't you?”
“shit shit shit, keep talking to me like that”, i reach down and play with my clit and he pounds me from behind. He leans over to whisper in your ear as he continues to pound into you, his breath hot against your skin.
He chuckles softly, clearly enjoying your embarrassment as much as your pleasure. “Shhh, it's okay princess... I'll keep your dirty little secret...i never imagined you were this much of a whore y/n” suddenly he spits between your bodies for more lube and quickens his pace brutally “FUCK NIRAGI!”
He grins wickedly at your outburst, “That's right, scream for me... let everyone know who's fucking you senseless” He groans in pleasure as you tighten around him, his own release fast approaching. “Fuck... I'm so close come for me, little slut... show me how much you love being fucked like this...”
withought much more persuading you cum all over niragi's cock, so hard that it makes a mess everywhere and milks him of his own orgasm. He watches in awe as you cum, your juices squirting all over his cock and dripping down his balls. He grunts, his own orgasm rippling through him. He collapses beside you, panting heavily as he tries to catch his breath.
“That….. was incredible…. I've never felt anything like that before...” He glances at you shyly, a faint blush returning on his cheeks. “Did I do okay? I mean... was it good for you?”
“more than good-fuck..” you can barely catch your breath. He smiles shyly, a sense of pride filling him as he hears your words. “I'm glad...”
He leans over and places a gentle kiss on your lips, his fingers tracing patterns on your stomach. “We should probably clean up...”
“it's okay don’t rush i'm not gonna kick you out” you chuckle and he laughs too, a warm and genuine sound that fills the room. “Thank you...” He kisses you once more before getting up and grabbing some tissues, helping you clean up before using them himself “Maybe we can do this again sometime...”
“of course, iv never had a fuck like that before if you think you can just live your life normally after that one your wrong niragi ” He chuckles. a hint of nervousness still in his voice. “I-I'll keep that in mind...” He looks at you sheepishly before leaning in for another kiss, one you return softly with a smile.
“i know i can get a little mean in the bedroom but i did it for you, i knew you was capable of taking controll of me. Stop letting those pricks be so horrible to you niragi, start standing up for yourself okay?” you kiss him tenderly again
He nods, his eyes sparkling with gratitude and affection. “I'll try...” He kisses you back, his hands resting on your hips as he pulls you closer. “You make me feel... invincible.”
“i'm glad” you straddle him once more and pepper feather light kisses all over his face.
He melts under your kisses, his eyes fluttering closed as he savors the gentle touch. “Mmm, that feels nice...” His hands slide up your back, gently caressing your skin as he returns your affection, his lips tracing soft kisses along your jawline.
“do you want to stay the night?” you walk over to the bathroom turning on the shower.
He nods eagerly, his eyes lighting up with excitement. “yes!,” He stands up and walks towards the bathroom, watching as you turn on the shower.
A mischievous grin spreads across his face. you raise an enquisitive eyebrow at his expression and pull the bathroom door shut with both of you inside.

Hi! („• ֊ •„) This is a long one (divided into two parts), inspired by various bots from Cherubin on Character AI. I hope you’ll enjoy it!!
Stuck With You (part 1)
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 Warnings: none, but smut in part 2. Pairing: Chishiya x fem!reader.
Plot: After getting separated from Arisu and the others when the King of Spades attacked, Chishiya and fem!reader camps out together on the outskirts of Tokyo.
Part 1 word count: 2000. Part 2 word count: 2793. (Click here to read!) Part 3 word count: 3088. (Click here to read!) 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Ever since the King of Spades attacked for the first time and split up your group, you and Chishiya had been stuck together. Sure, you weren’t physically stuck, but the thought of being all alone in the borderlands was far from pleasing to you, so here you were: camping out with Chishiya.
You had decided that staying in the outskirts of Tokyo where nature had completely taken over, was probably safer than staying near the centre. There was less of a chance of a surprise attack from the King of Spades, was Chishiya’s conclusion. You, not wanting to argue with Chishiya - which once he was set on a plan was much like arguing with a wall - just agreed and followed along.
“What is it?” you asked curiously. When he walked closer you finally saw what he was holding. “A tent?”
“Yep. A two-man tent, perfect for us.”
“Mm…” you hummed, causing Chishiya to tilt his head.
“What’s wrong?”
“You know how tiny two-man tents are, right?”
“What do you mean?” he asked, confused. “They’re for two people, no?”
Of course, Chishiya never seemed like a camping guy but still, surely he had at least been in a tent once? Tents were notoriously small, that was common knowledge.
“Well, technically yes, but we won’t have a lot of wiggle room.”
Chishiya looked down at the tent he had so proudly brought back with him, his eyebrows furrowed so much that deep wrinkles formed between them. “It’s better than nothing. It looks like it’s going to rain soon.”
There was no disagreeing there; the clouds looked dangerously grey. You grabbed the box and began unboxing the contents, neatly putting all of the many pieces on the ground in front of you. Chishiya watched curiously as you shortly read the instructions before getting to work.
“You’ve done this before, I take it?”
You hummed, too focused on setting up the tent correctly to reply with words. It was important to you that it was done right: mostly because you enjoyed being dry, but also because you didn’t want to give Chishiya any chance to be snarky if you made a mistake.
Once the tent was up, you both admired your work in silence until Chishiya spoke up.
“Mh. It is tiny.”
_____
It was in that tiny tent that Chishiya and you spent the next few (very rainy) days in. By day 3, you had begun running low on supplies, so Chishiya had left the dryness of the tent to find food and other essentials. You wanted to go with him but had firmly been told that it was safer if he went alone. You “made too much noise” and “was slow” apparently.
Although you were originally quite pissy about it, you were now enjoying the karma of Chishiya wandering the rainy streets of Tokyo while you were nice and dry. Was it nice to be basking in the thought of him being uncomfortable? Probably not, but you had never claimed to be nice.
Just as you had become quite pleased with the outcome, Chishiya unzipped the tent, threw in three 7/11 plastic bags filled with stuff, and crawled in before zipping up the entrance again - giving you a chance to look at just how soaked he’d gotten.
“You look like a drowned cat,” you half laughed.
His blonde hair, which had gotten multiple shades darker from soaking in the rain, was sticking to his face, constant trickles of water dripping down his skin.
“Don’t be too happy now,” he mumbled while brushing clingy hair out of his face. “It’s your turn to run for supplies next time.”
“Absolutely not. That’s a man’s job.”
You felt Chishiya’s eyes stare at you, trying to sense if you were joking or not. You knew that if he looked you in the eyes, he would read you immediately, so you pretended to be busy with looking through the bags.
“A man’s job? I thought women were supposed to be the gatherers.”
“I’ll gladly be your gatherer once you hunt down something that isn’t out of date protein bars.” you complained as you went through the subpar supplies Chishiya had found. Was it really so hard to get something enjoyable to eat?
Amused by your clap back, Chishiya didn’t argue further but instead chuckled. And that’s when you heard the sound of his zipper. Your head snapped around so fast that it hurt, producing a small popping sound.
“Wait, hold on, why are you undressing?”
“I’m wet,” he concluded with a smirk. “Do you want me to catch a cold or something?”
“Well, no, but I don’t want you to be naked either.”
You thought that that was a fair wish. The tent was already awkwardly cramped with the two of you almost always constantly touching somewhat, you didn’t need to add nakedness to the mix.
“Grow up,” he chuckled while continuing to undress, pulling his shirt over his head with one swoop. “You’ve surely seen half naked men before.”
“That’s not the point!” you argued with a blush spreading across your cheeks at the comment. “I don’t want to see you naked.”
“Then look away.”
The suggestion was so simple that you had no argument against it, turning your head back around. With your eyes strictly focused on the wall of the tent, you heard as Chishiya laid down and got comfortable, sighing contently as he waited for his clothes to dry. Eventually, curiosity got the better of you, making your eyes dart as far left as they could go to catch whatever vague glimpse of the body that he was so unapologetically flaunting.
“Looking is fine too,” he said when he immediately caught you looking. Urgh, why was he always so observative?
“Shut up.”
_____
By day 4 you were completely over being around Chishiya. You missed the Beach; missed the many people, the comfortable beds, and even missed the chaos. A small tent in the outskirts of Tokyo was no match to the vibrant life at the Beach - a life you would never go back to.
“I miss Kuina,” you mumbled while throwing a protein bar wrapper into the designated trash-can plastic-bag before crossing your arms.
“Wow, am I not enough for you?” Chishiya joked, acting as if your comment hurt him. Of course, you knew that it didn’t. It would take way more to actually hurt him.
“No.”
Chishiya snorted at your honesty. He liked that about you: you weren’t afraid to talk back at him. It was more fun that way, he thought. So many people were desperate people pleasers and it was annoying to be around. If he had to be stuck in a tent with someone, he was glad it was you - even if he weren’t about to admit that aloud.
Not wanting to exist in silence longer than you had to, you began rummaging through the plastic bags. It was mostly just to keep your hands busy, and your mind occupied with something that wasn’t how god awfully close you were to Chishiya right now.
“You’re shit at getting supplies,” you groaned when you realised that he had brought nothing but protein bars and strawberry gummies with him. “Couldn’t you at least have gotten other flavours?”
“What’s wrong with strawberry? It’s a classic.”
“It’s so basic,” you complained while almost throwing the rustling plastic back down on the ground out of frustration. “Everyone knows grape is the superior gummy flavour.”
“I’m sure you’ll survive.”
The tone of his voice ticked you completely off. He seemed to enjoy your frustration, almost considering it prime entertainment - perhaps because it was his only entertainment. Under normal circumstances, you would march away to cool down, but that wasn’t exactly an option now: the tent was too small to escape him, and it was absolutely pouring outside.
“Just bring grape candy next time.”
_____
On day five of your ‘camping trip’, the weather had finally seemed to clear up. Of course, this was only temporary, but you didn’t know that yet. You zipped open the tent and stepped outside to stretch your legs, reaching your arms high up in the air which caused your shirt to lift up too, exposing your abdomen. It felt good finally being able to move around.
“I need a shower,” you exclaimed when Chishiya joined you outside of the tent. He immediately zipped it up behind him, not wanting to risk any mosquitoes getting in.
“There’s a lake 300 metres away,” he said while also stretching.
“A lake isn’t a shower.”
“Sorry, princess,” he chuckled, making sure to add a condescending nickname. “I can’t magically make you a shower. It’s a lake or nothing.”
You didn’t look super satisfied with the truth. Truth be told, you missed the Beach a lot. The Beach had hot water, electricity, private rooms, and you weren’t forced to spend every waking moment with Chishiya of all people.
With a groan, you began walking down the path behind the tent towards the lake, stopping up and looking back towards Chishiya when you noticed he wasn’t following you.
“You need a bath too,” you noted. “Besides, I don’t want to be alone out there.”
Begrudgingly, Chishiya followed you to the lake, his hands never leaving the comfort of his pockets. Once at your destination you both awkwardly looked at the lake, neither of you wanting to make the first move to undress.
“Didn’t you want to bathe?” Chishiya finally asked with an amused look on his face. “Or are you too shy?”
“Shut up,” you mumbled before beginning to undress. Once in your underwear, you again looked awkwardly between the lake and Chishiya. “Don’t look.”
Chishiya raised both of his hands in the air and turned around to give you some privacy. Of course, you weren’t entirely sure that you could trust him to not take a peek, but you also really needed a bath so you had to take the chance. With quick movements you completely undressed yourself and stepped into the cold lake, hissing at how chilly the water was but nonetheless quickly moving far enough out into the lake, so your body was covered by the water.
“Okay!” you yelled back to Chishiya. “You can turn around!”
And he did just that, turning back around and walking closer to the shore. Before you had a chance to even react to his decision, you watched as he too stripped down, throwing his clothes next to yours on the ground, and stepping out into the water. You quickly averted your eyes, looking far away at nothing in particular just so you were sure you didn’t accidentally stare.
The look on your face was absolutely priceless, he thought. Your entire upper body was turning red from shyness and your eyes were so big that they looked like they were about to pop out of your head.
With long, nonchalant strides through the water, Chishiya walked relatively close to you and settled down in the cold water. He didn’t mind your shyness, he actually found it cute how you were still worried about modesty when every second could be your last.
“Relax,” he said confidently before beginning to scrub his body. “It’s just a bath.”
You didn’t respond but instead sunk deeper into the water, making sure Chishiya could see nothing from your chin down. You missed the private shower you had at the Beach. Back then you at least never had to be confronted with full-frontal male nudity from Chishiya.
Slowly, you began scrubbing your body too, wanting to at least be clean after this awkward situation you had placed yourself in. Although you tried to keep your eyes to yourself, you couldn’t help but catch a rare glimpse at Chishiya’s body, silently admiring the way his wet skin glistened in the low sun. Chishiya, too, occasionally peeked when the opportunity arose - could you blame him, really?

— GAME OF TRUST
banda x gn!reader
genre: friends to enemies to ?
warnings: mentions of death, killing, blood, manipulation, alcohol usage, aib stuff, barely proofread sorry lol
synopsis: Being at the Borderlands wasn’t enough, you just had to meet the person you’d told you would kill if you saw him again. Seems like the way you saw things changed during that time.
author’s note: yeah. so i’ve been writing this for days and i’m still not satisfied w it much but i wanted to post it so there you go. i might edit it but! yea!!
Tumblr media
Three years prior to the Borderlands.
“Seriously.” you scoffed, bandaging the arm of the boy sitting in front of you. “How many times do you plan to do this, exactly?”
‘This’, referred to Banda, your close friend and unofficial roommate, coming to your apartment unannounced with injuries and blood all over him. Every time, he’d greet you with a sheepish, barely-apologetic smile and get you to let him in with an innocent tilt of his head. You’d have him sit at the counter of your bathroom so you could clean up his wounds.
It’s not that you blindly trusted him. You just couldn’t care less what he did to get injured. What bothered you, however, was—
“I don’t know. Depends on whether or not you’ll continue to take care of me when it happens.” he said, taking advantage of the short distance between the two of you to try and catch your gaze.
— Him. In general. He was a problem in itself. You were used to him, sure, but that didn’t make him flirting with you every other day any more bearable. Especially since you liked him. It was obvious to everyone including the two of you that you had always been friends who were maybe-more-than-that. But nothing ever happened, really. That was just the dynamic of your relationship.
“I’m not your personal nurse.”
“Aw.”
You indulged him and met his eyes, albeit yours were filled with a mix of annoyance and tiredness— A cocktail he seemed to like considering the smile that pulled at his lips.
“You’re so annoying. God.” you whispered, not noticing where your eyes fixated.
“And you’re staring at my lips.” he replied, teasing, “What? Want a taste?” he asked and suddenly got so close to your face you almost stumbled back. Except you didn’t. You looked at him with wide eyes and his smile widened.
Then you calmed down, scoffed, and pushed him back.
“Stop looking at me like that.” you spoke, tone low but not entirely threatening. You clicked your tongue when he only raised his eyebrows, like he didn’t get what you meant. “And stop acting innocent.”
“What about me makes you think I’m not?”
You grabbed a cotton ball of disinfectant and roughly pressed it into a cut on his cheekbone. All that did was make him wince a little and close his eye. You sighed and tossed the cotton ball away. “I don’t know. Everything?”
“Come on.” he exhaled as you grabbed a band-aid at the side. The TV in your living room was quiet, but loud enough to be heard in the beat of silence that passed.
“ — A man from Tokyo College was found dead in a residential area near the university. He died from blunt force trauma after seemingly getting into a fight. Reports say he was at a bar with friends before this. The police suspect a drunken fight with a classmate that turned sour.”
Your movements slowed to a stop.
Banda was getting drinks with some upperclassmen he didn’t like tonight. You knew it because you’d asked him why he even bothered going a few days prior. You knew it because he’d told you he wouldn’t be able to make it to your study session because of it. You’re not sure why all your senses pointed an accusatory finger towards the person you considered your best friend at this moment but you couldn’t help it.
“Sunato.”
“What is it?” he asked.
You didn’t feel your gaze move up to meet his. When you did, he was already smiling at you. You wondered if he had made it a point to intentionally stop speaking at that moment.
“Hm?” he tilted his head.
“Sunato.” you repeated, the name sounding a sour shade of uncertainty on your tongue. “What happened tonight?”
He wasn’t smiling anymore. He didn’t seem annoyed, but you couldn’t read him. The silence that followed your words was suffocating— Unbearably so. Each second of quiet staring was making your ears ring. It was deafening. You wondered if there was any sound at all. Even the TV felt like white noise at this point.
Banda stepped down from the counter.
One step forward.
One step back.
Your bathroom wasn’t the definition of big. But when your back hit the wall, Banda didn’t move more. There was a safe distance between the two of you that he didn’t seem to feel like crossing. Nevertheless in this moment, his mere presence felt overwhelming.
“Things.” he finally answered, quietly. “I pretended to drink a few shots with those third-years. Didn’t try to pretend to like them. They got annoyed and we fought.”
You furrowed your eyebrows. “And?”
He took a step forward and came so close you felt all your sensed melt away for a moment. A short moment that felt as long as ever.
Then he grabbed the band-aid from between your tightening fingers and looked up at you. He smiled casually, moving back with a shrug of his shoulders. “And nothing.”
You felt like a weight was lifted from your chest, but the tension in the air didn’t dissipate entirely. Banda peeled off the plastic bits of the band-aid, before staring at himself in the mirror above your sink to carefully place it on his wound.
Then he glanced at you in the reflection. “What? Why are you stuck to the wall like this? You scared?”
You pushed yourself up instantly. “No. Why would I be?” you spoke quietly, turning away to walk outside the bathroom.
“Because you think I killed that man.”
A chill ran down your spine.
“I didn’t.” he said casually, lifting your worries a little, before plunging another knife into your chest, “Mean to, I mean.”
“Sunato.” you scoffed, turning around, only to realize he’d gotten impossibly close to you. Your voice weakened, much to tour dismay, “Stop joking around.”
“Should I?” he mused, tilting his head and searching your eyes. “I’m not joking, though.”
You shoved his shoulder and he only smiled. This didn’t feel like seeing someone you didn’t know. It just felt like he revealed a part of himself he hadn’t tried to hide, but hadn’t spoken about. Like something both painfully obvious and incredibly easy to miss. Banda was serious— He would have killed one of those people if he felt like it. And from the amount of times he’d showed up bruised and bloody at your door, a part of you that made your stomach twist told you he might’ve killed someone already.
“Leave. I won’t tell anyone.” you said, “ But if I ever see you again, I’ll kill you myself.” you spoke before you could think about it.
He didn’t argue, seemingly pleased with your response.
“If you try to kill me, be certain I’ll do the same.”
Tumblr media
Present day.
Jack of Hearts.
You sighed audibly as you let the choker click around your neck. Getting used to playing games so much it was a routine was almost worrying. Alas.
You walked up the stairs to the guards’ room and took a long look at every person present. They all seemed to either be grouped up, having come over there with someone, or alone. You walked over to a spot with less people, and leaned against the wall of the corridor. On the other side of it, someone was staring at you.
You turned to meet their gaze. Then your eyebrows furrowed. “… The tag game?”
The boy in a white jacket chuckled. “Nice to see you again.”
You laughed a little as you turned back around. It wasn’t often you met people from previous games again. In this case, it was almost comforting. He didn’t seem all that bad.
Footsteps echoed from the stairs and your attention moved there. You stared at the staircase— People around you didn’t seem really attentive, not really caring about the last player for this game joining in. You had taken the second to last choker. So it could only be that. You figured making sure you saw every player could be useful.
Your eyes widened once you caught sight of the new person’s face. Your gazes met for a split second and you could swear you both scoffed— Although he seemed more like he was laughing.
The first round went by swiftly.
As expected, no one tried killing anyone. It was too early— Too risky. You stepped out of the cell with a deep sigh. You’d joined Urumi’s group so she wouldn’t try and turn the group of annoyingly naive followers she had against you at some point, but no part of you was pleased either. Everything about that girl screamed manipulator.
You started to wonder how many manipulative people were present in this game. Almost unfortunately, more naive ones seemed to be there— Which meant bigger groups to deal with if their leader was against you.
While the first one round went by calmly, you didn’t expect the rest to follow that rhythm. And just as expected, while everyone fell in mostly quiet conversation, the brute from the beginning of the game brought the person he’d decided to pick on to the main room with undeserved punches and kicks. You heaved a sigh at the sight.
The next few rounds were the real start of the game.
When someone told the poor guy to lie to the man who’d been beating him to know the suit on his collar, you weren’t against it. If that man was to die, it would be even better for his victim to kill him. Your only problem with this, really, was Banda Sunato staring right at you as his lips worded out the synonym of ‘kill him’ to the man. You’d chuckled dryly and he only gave you this unreadable look that made you want nothing more than wrap your hands around his neck.
Round four came around.
You were getting tired. You sighed deeply, chest heaving. You tried to focus, really. But it would’ve all been easier if you hadn’t been in the same game as him. Your hands touched the bottles of flavored drinks on the shelf in front of you. “They would taste awful warm. Couldn’t they refrigerate them?” you mumbled, complaining to yourself.
Footsteps slowed down next to you. Irritatingly familiar.
Fingers brushed against the nape of your neck briefly, sending a chill down your spine. “Your suit is Spade.” Banda’s voice whispered close to your ear, “You should be careful of who you trust.”
“Like I should trust you.” you spoke quietly, kind enough not to announce to everyone here that he was just as suspicious as they probably though. You turned to look at him and he smiled.
“Am I not trustworthy to you?” he breathed out a laugh, “That’s five years of friendship you’re ignoring.”
“Fuck off.”
“You’re sweet.” he hummed, leaving you alone nevertheless.
Years. Years without seeing him once. And this is the first conversation you have. It’s almost fitting.
You went and sat at the table the boy whose name you learned was Chishiya Shuntaro was sitting at, along with Ippei Oka. They seemed to be the most two trustworthy of the bunch.
Chishiya was frank. Blunt to a fault. This was assurance that he wouldn’t lie to you. Following the way he seemed to think from the few times you’d talk and overheard him, it didn’t line up with him to lie just to kill. Except if he was the Jack of Hearts and took his time gaining your trust.
Ippei was honest. Overly kind and unable to harm anyone. Your doubts of it being a facade faded once the girl manipulating an entire group of people— Urumi, told them to kill someone. You’d made it a point to stare at his eyes when she finally showed her true colors. There was no faking the terror in his features. Except if he was a really good actor.
You hated to admit but only one person in this entire prison had your entire trust. Ironically enough, it was also the person you told yourself you trusted the least.
You made eye contact with him across the cafeteria and he raised his eyebrows like he was asking you ‘What?’ then a smile, ‘Missed me?’.
You looked away.
Urumi was getting her group to kill someone again. A murderer or another, really. This was a prison, after all.
Round ten.
The cafeteria was probably the nicest place to be when it wasn’t suffocatingly crowded. Which it was, at the moment, despite the amount of players that had been killed already. You grabbed a box of chocolate Pocky and walked out of the cafeteria swiftly. There really was nothing good that came out of staying with people. Especially in these games.
Walking up the stairs, you tore off the packaging before grabbing a stick and holding it between your teeth.
Then someone grabbed you. They pulled you into a corner you hadn’t been paying attention to, and in a second, Banda was leaning against the wall and you were hovering over him. He leaned forward and took a bite out of the Pocky that was still in your mouth and smiled. “Thanks.”
“Really?” you scoffed, finishing the rest as you pushed yourself up, “What’s wrong with you? What do you want?”
“Your cooperation.” he said. You felt your defenses fall the moment he spoke. To be honest every time you two would exchange a few words, the same thing happened. You weakened in front of him. It was like letting him watch you crumble down into his hands without him even having to try— You hated it.
Even after all this time there was a part of you that was too attached to him. Too much to simply move on after the way you ended things. Before everything he was your best friend. He used to be. And that’s why the genuineness in his voice felt this important. Banda Sunato was a liar when he wanted to. He lied as easy as he breathed but preferred to dance around the truth. However this time, he really wanted your help.
You couldn’t see why.
“You have that guy following you around. He looks like he’d trust you even if you held a gun to his head, why are you asking me for anything?” you asked and the usual bite left your tone, unconsciously.
Banda did that thing— Searching for an answer to questions untold in your eyes. He stared and stared and all you could do was freeze in place. Then he would look right at you. Properly.
“You’re the only one I can really trust.”
“So now we’re just lying?”
He chuckled, tilting his head a little, gaze wavering. “I don’t know if you should be talking about lies. Didn’t you say you’d kill me if we saw each other again?” he looked back at you, “I’m still standing. What’s up with that?”
“You would’ve seen right through me. And killed me afterwards.” you only half-lied, “I didn’t feel like risking that.”
He raised his eyebrows. He wasn’t buying it. “I wouldn’t kill my best friend.”
“Banda.”
“Oh, we’re on last-name basis? Sorry.” he said emotionlessly, “I guess you really did mean it when you said you didn’t want to see me again. I thought you were joking.”
You made a face and he chuckled, “Come on. Turn around.”
“That’s awfully authoritative.” you mocked him. He raised his eyebrows, then pushed himself off the wall, closing the distance between the two of you just like that. You flinched a little but he only took a step to the side, then walked behind you.
“Let’s see.” he near-whispered. His fingers settled on the sides of your neck softly but enough to make your chest burn, “That’s Heart.” he said, impossibly quiet and close to you. There was something in his voice when he talked to you sometimes that you hated. It was quiet and low and touched parts of your hearts it shouldn’t. Even years ago, he always acted like this. He played around with your feelings, testing your reaction, for seemingly no reason at all.
Just for fun, you guessed.
You turned around just enough to look at him and he waited. You heaved a long sigh, before grabbing his shoulder and turning him around. He chuckled as he followed the movement, clearly amused by your behavior.
“Diamond.”
“Mm.” he hummed, spinning on his heel to turn back around, “Thank you. I’ll probably need your help in the last round.”
“Who says I’ll help you?”
“Do you genuinely have a good reason not to?”
You took a breath. And then left him.
Round thirteen. Or the last round, according to Chishiya. You were tense— Awfully so. It’s not that you feared dying. Or at the very least, not entirely. But it was more so the quiet plotting, revelations of alliances, last-minute decisions made based on instinct alone that scared you. Chishiya and Banda had both implied this round would be the last.
“Spade.” you spoke clearly. Ten seconds passed.
You tilted your head once the time was up and walked to the door, before waiting. Ten seconds more. Then you carefully and quietly opened it. You were careful to close it just as silently once you heard two familiar voices talking on the floor below you.
“So you do trust me, after all.” Banda said, stepping out of his cell. He was the one to tell you to wait. You almost regretted your decision the second you heard him claim you trusted him again.
“And you trust me.” you replied, reffering to the fact that he was clearly alive after trusting your word on his symbol. “Surprising.”
You looked over at him and saw the man he had seemingly become the ally of walk ahead of him. Banda tilted his head, “Unsurprisingly. Will you wait for me when we leave?”
You looked downstairs for a moment, seeing the suspected Jack of Hearts get cornered, and then looked back up at Banda. “Hm.” you hummed, looking around, “Should I?”
He simply shrugged before walking away, leaving you with just a smile. In a world like this one, was killing people really something to be shocked about anymore? After three years without him and more than a month in this place, were your thoughts on the matter that made you cut him off really still the same?
You scoffed. Of course not.
When the airship exploded above the prison, you stayed at the entrance to wait. And when Banda finally came, he smiled more genuinely than you’d seen him in years.
“You’re bloody.”
“Nothing new.”
“… Annoyingly so.”

Hello! I Hope you are doing okay. Can i request chishiya having crush on someone Who gives fallen angel, black cat vibes on outside but her personality is cute, smart and kind. I hope it's not much 💞💞
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Chishiya Shuntaro x f!reader
TW: Mention of Blood & Violence
The first time Chishiya saw you, he barely so much as acknowledged your existence. You were so quiet, so standoffish, loitering against the back wall of the arena. A single glimpse your way and he figured you were fresh to the Borderlands, that the game might just be your first, and your last. Approximately nine minutes into the first round, he realised that he had been wrong. The way you silently helped another competitor and didn’t seem to flinch as blood and gristle slipped onto your skin told him that you were well acquainted with the world after all.
The second time he saw you, he watched you take down three strangers in the bloodiest hearts game he had witnessed. Part of him was curious – as you stepped through the arena, avoiding his eye, shameful of what he had just seen you do, he wondered what you had been before the Borderlands. His eyes followed as you withdrew into the early morning, your shoulders slumped as if ashamed of yourself for having survived.
Over time, he had almost come to expect you, to see you slink into the arena at the final moment. Still, you always stood in the corner, not bothering to meet anyone’s eye. From a distance, you seemed to analyse the workings of each game with careful curiosity and in some way, or another, you always scraped through.
Imagine Chishiya’s surprise when he caught sight of you at The Beach at Kuina’s side, head tipped back with laughter at something she must have said. In the orange glow of the foyer’s sodium strip lights, a seeming world away from the reality of the games, you seemed different. Kuina gently nudged you through the crowd, her eyes on him.
The shock of suddenly standing in front of Chishiya registered on your features before you could quite stop it. You had taken notice of him a long time ago – the way he seemed to appear in the very same places, the way he watched each game unravel with an easy-going expression. All this time, you had maintained your distance, whilst making certain he made it through each challenge. Once or twice, you had almost sacrificed yourself in order to twist the outcome in your favour. Something about his presence, so indifferent, was almost reassuring. The little squeak of surprise slipped from your mouth and the ever so slight twitch of Chishiya’s brow suggested that he heard it.
‘Chishiya, this is Y/N,’ Kuina nodded, a hand passing over your shoulder.
Bowing your head slightly, you tried to conceal the flush that had momentarily prickled across your skin. This close, he finally seemed real, no longer the apparition you had been keeping alive. Chishiya was silent himself, he was chewing the inside of his lower lip. Perhaps, his brain was short-circuiting, it didn’t seem to make any sense – the girl standing in front of him, blushing a fierce shade of scarlet, was the very same one he had seen maim and murder. What had been mere curiosity, meant to pass the time, was twisting into something else. Cute wasn’t a word in Chishiya’s vocabulary, but the aversion of your eyes was the closest he’d come to saying it.
Kuina kept you around and whilst Chishiya might never quite bring himself to accept it, he was relieved. Maybe, it was because he took reassurance in the knowledge that he had someone on his side capable of taking care of themselves. Maybe, it was because the impossibility of his task – to take the stack of cards in Hatter’s suite, seemed to diminish when you laughed; in the half-second the ends of your fingers brushed when you handed him a cup of coffee.
It culminated in the Five of Spades game. Chishiya folded his arms on the apartment boundary, momentarily resting his chin. From here, he watched the other competitors flicker somewhere between panic and disbelief. ‘Let’s see,’ he sighed, snagging your attention, ‘Everyone looks like they’re about to die, as usual.’
On any other occasion, Chishiya’s tone might have made you smile, but here, staring out across the apartment complex, you could only grimace. It was simple enough – watch from afar and let the other competitors make the mistakes and it should have been easy. It wasn’t as if locating the alleged safe area had proven difficult and Chishiya had quietly encouraged the tall, shaggy-haired competitor to enter first. In the next moment, the second tagger revealed themselves – whilst Chishiya had managed to taser them to the ground, they were quick in their recovery.
‘Chishiya, get down!’ You cried, throwing yourself into the space between the horse-headed figure and Chishiya.
There was little thought behind the movement – you lurched with blind desperation, determined to take the blow meant for him. A fist to the shoulder sent you backwards, toward Chishiya’s waiting hands. His fingers were not gentle as they pushed you through the apartment hallway, to the safety of the outside, as he slammed the doorway behind. Even as you stumbled to the ground, he saw the flicker of your eyes – the helpless feeling pricking the edges, guilt for having abandoned the other competitor.
The apartment lighting cast blue shadows over Chishiya. His features were set in the same way you had seen before – perhaps, the closeness of death had momentarily stunned him into silence. The balmy evening air clung to his chest in a way he didn’t much like. Was it the evening air, or was he just frustrated? He finally glanced at you, propped against the apartment wall. He used to think you were perfectly calculated, he’d come to realise that you were stupidly kind, even in the Borderlands. For a moment, he watched you – he hadn’t told you that he knew you’d saved his life more than once and he wasn’t sure he would, he’d just have to stick around to return the favour.

vanilla latte — ryohei arisu
Tumblr media
˚. ⋆ ☄︎ 🔭 in which you meet arisu for the first time after the meteorite— an internet cafe is a much more pleasant meeting spot than the borderlands.
pairing — ryohei arisu x gn!reader (works both platonically and romantically)
genre — fluff / angst (idk how to categorize this tbh)
tags — aib s2 spoilers, post-borderlands au, reader and arisu were friends in the borderlands, reader was best friends with tatta before and during the borderlands, reader is acquainted with arisu's brother, sad boy arisu due to the deaths of karube and chota
 warnings — not proofread lol
—————
it was taking everything in you to not drop out of university. you would think that after a deadly meteorite left you and numerous others hospitalized that you would get a break. unfortunately, you were wrong, as always.
even though you were pronounced dead for one minute, there was no getting out of your dreaded assignments. perhaps you should honour your late best friend, kodai tatta, and drop out of school to immediately be sucked into a pyramid scheme. you sighed at the memory of him; you didn't think you would ever accept the fact that he was gone. it was all too sudden and incomplete— you should have at least been there to say goodbye.
you shook your head at your pointless ideas, arguing with yourself that you wouldn't be able to pursue your lifelong dream if you were to leave university unfinished like your late friend. the homework would have to be done, despite how much you'd rather stay in bed. plus, you could use a distraction. studying was better than coming to terms with loss.
after about twelve minutes of begrudgingly filling out questions, you couldn't help but find yourself coming back to blankly stare at your ceiling. it was obvious that you could do with a change of scenery. you had just survived a literal space rock falling from the sky, the least you could do is get out of your bedroom and into the city of tokyo to find a comfortable place to hit the books. plus, you could use something to drink in the meantime.
fortunately for you, you wouldn't have to walk for long before spotting a familiar building— an internet cafe which you had often seen on your instagram feed being praised for its delicious beverages. from the looks of it, it didn't look too busy at this hour, either. you mentally shrugged, figuring that this could work for your study time.
—————
taking a seat at one of the computers in the corner, you can't help but look up at a boy around your age furiously clicking his keyboard and mouse. it alarmed you slightly, as you had dabbled in your fair share of computer games when you were younger, but never to the extent of the male adjacent to you. biting your bottom lip, you stifled in a laugh; you had never seen someone so passionate about video games before. it was almost concerning how much emotion he put into clicking buttons. perhaps you should try his methods to cope with losing tatta.
turning your head back to your own computer, you made a mental note of all the work you had yet to complete, sighing as you realized that the list was almost neverending. your mind idly faltered, instead letting in thoughts of anything but your work into your brain. one thought in particular caught your attention— it was about the passionate gamer you had just observed. before you had looked away, you caught a small glance of his face, more specifically his eyes; you could have sworn you had seen them before. a wonderful shade of deep brown, with sparks of integrity and honesty behind the irises. where have you seen them before? they made you feel too warm to have just belonged to a stranger, but then again, you could count on one hand the amount of friends you've ever had. this boy was not one of them.
you decided that you needed some caffeine, as you obviously were starting to show signs of sleep deprivation. standing up from your chair, you carefully make your way over to the counter, intentionally not looking in the way of the fluffy-haired gamer. quickly ordering your classic drink of choice (a vanilla latte), you leaned against the wall, entraced in deep thought once again. if there was one thing to know about you, it's that you aren't the kind to easily let things go. could he have been in the same class as you? that was possible, but you ruled out the possibility knowing that you would have at least known his name.
your train of thought was broken by the voice of the barista. "one vanilla latte—" he started, and you made a start for the counter to collect your beverage. however, your path was blocked by the only other customer that had caught your attention— the fluffy-haired gamer. you watched as his hands attached to both sides of the mug that you believed to be your latte. "—for arisu," the barista finished.
 arisu.
 his name is arisu.
—————
your arms held on tight to tatta, your face buried in the crook of his neck as you two leaned against the door to an apartment. ever since most of the population of tokyo had disappeared, you two remained attached to the hip— even in near-death situations.
 "game clear."
a sob escaped your mouth at the annoucement. the nightmare was over, and you and tatta were still alive. in all honesty, it was thanks to the lanky boy that had saved your best friend. him and the girl that you had spotted climbing between floors. they both seemed accustom with these death games, seeing as neither of them were paralyzed with fear at the sight of a man wearing a horse mask successfully killing a majority of the other players.
"let's get out of here," tatta said to you, to which you responded with a solemn nod. slowly standing up, you looked down at the floors below you. though you saw no dead bodies, you could see their blood; that was enough to make you wince. turning your head towards what you could only assume was the exit, you spotted your two saviours conversing. sighing with relief, you started to follow tatta towards their direction. passing the boy that had so courageously pushed your best friend out of the way of the tagger, you paused. turning to face him, you gave him a sincere nod— you couldn't muster up a smile in these conditions.
"thank you for saving tatta. he's all i have." making eye contact with you, the boy gave you a humble nod.
 "it was nothing," he replied.
from one of the lower floors, you could hear a male yell out. the name "arisu" rang throughout the floors, catching the lanky boy's attention. you figured it had to be the yellow-haired partner of the boy who you could now identify as arisu.
following tatta, you exited the game arena, unaware that this would not be the last time you had your ass saved by a boy called arisu.
—————
your face lit up. you knew the surname arisu— you used to be in the same class as hajime arisu before you switched out (you were too frustrated that he always came top of the class). that had to be hajime's brother, right? it was the only explanation as to why he had seemed so familiar.
approaching the younger arisu brother with a smile on your face, you looked up at him.
"are you hajime's brother?" you asked the boy, tilting your head ever so slightly to the side as you awaited your answer. you could tell that your question had very obviously caught him off guard, seeing how he now resembled a deer in headlights. he nodded quickly, picking up his latte in the process.
"uh— yes, i believe so," he started, mixing up his words in the process. "sorry. i am, my name is— um. it's ryohei." you couldn't help but feel a smile creep upon your face. you had never asked him for his name, just if he was related to a boy that had been in one of your classes previously. a typical response from a gamer, you thought. you opened your mouth to introduce yourself, but you were cut off by the barista calling out your name. the both of you turned your heads to see a beverage identical to the vanilla latte in ryohei's hands on the counter. picking up your drink, you grinned at the boy.
"you have a nice name," ryohei said to you. not moving from his position in front of the counter.
 "thank you, as do you."
a moment of awkward silence passed, and neither of you had moved— you were sure that the boy in front of you had an intense gaming session to return to, yet here he was; staring at you. perhaps he was experiencing the same sense of deja vu as you had? no, that didn't make sense. you knew him from his brother, but he couldn't possibly know you from anywhere else.
 he must be lonely.
you weren't the only person who had lost somebody close to them due to the meteorite. could he be one of those people, too?
it seemed too soon to ask.
"if you want to sit at my table, you're more than welcome to do so," you said to him. taking your vanilla latte from the counter, you nodded to your study setup in the corner. his eyes followed yours, acknowledging the unoccupied computers next to you.
though he said nothing, his warm brown eyes were enough to give you an answer.
little did you know that this would become a regular occurrence, with you walking into the internet cafe every week to see ryohei at your regular table with two vanilla lattes. perhaps adding another friend to your list wasn't so bad after all.

hi hi hi can i please request a kuina (aib) x reader fic where kuina does the readers make up🙏🙏
kiss and makeup !
in which you let your darling gf practice her makeup on you.
cw : ooc! kuina, set after leaving borderland, typos (maybe)
Tumblr media
kuina glanced at you through the mirror as you were sitting on the bed and scrolling on your phone.
"can i do your makeup?" she looked at you with bright eyes.
"what? you want to do my makeup?" you looked back at her and saw her nod her head. "alright" you sighed.
you got up and sat on her vanity's chair. "hm, i think this shade would look good on you, what do you think?" she said referring to the lipstick shes holding.
"if you think so, it probably would." you hummed. she giggled as she turned the chair. "you're so pretty." she smiled.
you could feel your face getting hot, "thank you." you whispered. "you're welcome, pretty." she replied as she got done with applying the lipstick.
"it does look really good shade on you." she mused. you picked up an eyeliner, "you think you can put this on me?" you asked.
"ooh! yea." she sat on your lap and winked, "for precision." she said and took you eyeliner from you.
you were trying to not explode from how your face was to yours, also doesn't help that she's so pretty.
you glanced at her lips once,
twice,
thrice,
"do you wanna kiss me that badly?" she chuckled.
"you noticed?" you sucked in a breath as she moved closer, your lips so close to hers. "yea." she said and kissed you. the eyeliner had been long forgotten as she put her arms around your shoulder and pulled you closer.
she tasted like cherries, you thought. it felt like minutes had gone by before she pulled away. "your lipstick is smudged." she giggled as she uses her thumb to fix it.
"i dont mind." you replied breathlessly as you put your head on her. she played with your hair, and in that moment you knew that you really really liked her.

Good morning,
I had been reading your (Love Is) A Dangerous Game fic, and saw your requests were open, so I was wondering if maybe you'd be able to write a Chishiya X Reader where reader is like, 5'3", has medium length dyed crimson colored hair with sideswept bangs, auburn eyes, and she's got a fairly shy personality until it comes to someone she cares about? So if she hears someone talking badly about someone she cares for, particularly someone she's developed feelings for, she gets really hotheaded and will legitimately physically fight them?
She doesn't realize she's developed feelings for Chishiya until she overheard someone talking badly about him during a game (can be any game really, but I envision either S1 with the Witch, or S2 at the prison), and after she's had her little spat, she takes one look at him wide eyed and realizes she's fallen HARD for him and just gets super stressed about it to the point of *attempting* to cry to herself about it in private, but he happens upon her afterwards?
There can be a resolution/response from him or not, I prefer a happy resolution, but we all know Chishiya is difficult when it comes to feelings.
If not, that's totally okay, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask!
Ah! my first AiB request ♡♡♡ thank you, Nonnie! I hope this is close to what you imagined.
The Borderland wasn’t an easy place for anyone, but it could be especially hard for someone who wore their heart on their sleeve, someone like you. In your day to day life you were able to keep your emotions in check, and even though you felt things deeply, you didn’t usually struggle to avoid injudicious reactions. But being surrounded by stressful situations all the time was affecting you.
All things considered, The Beach was not a bad place to be, you could even say there was a slight sense of security in it, even if you felt like you really couldn’t trust anyone. You figured maybe everyone felt the same way so you were guarded.
You could give the impression of being extroverted or even extravagant, with your hair dyed a bright shade of crimson, in any case it made it hard to go unnoticed; but you were reserved, some would even say shy. The only thing that could really get to you, make you lose control and show your hotheaded side, was to see someone you cared for get hurt. If anyone attacked your friends in any way, there would be trouble.
The first few days after arriving at The Beach, you kept to yourself. The last thing you needed was to get on anyone’s wrong side. You did know how to take care of yourself, but being 5’3” it was still unwise to go around picking fights. And just like it happened in any place, like at school or at work, there were people you knew you’d better stay away from, and people you were growing to like.
For instance, you’d liked Chishiya since the first time you’d heard him speak, he was smart, observant, it made you feel better to have him around during games. But you could have said the same about other people at The Beach. It wasn’t anything special.
Sometimes, on days where you didn’t have to go out to play a game, you would find yourself wondering where Chishiya was, if maybe you could go talk to him. He was standoffish but he had never been openly rude to you and refused a conversation. You wouldn’t say he was your friend but perhaps the borderland equivalent of a friend, something like that, you didn’t need to define it.
The first time you realized your feelings toward Chishiya might have evolved, was when you lashed out at someone during the witch hunt game. As chaos—and fire—erupted around the hotel, you were trying to figure out how you could help and get away. You were scared, running around searching for the few people you felt you could trust. You found Chishiya first and you were relieved, he’d know what to do.
Both of you were looking for Kuina when someone grabbed Chishiya’s arm and called him a “fucking traitor” you didn’t think twice, you punched them so hard you knocked them to the floor. Your reaction took you by surprise but you didn’t have a lot of time to think about it, you wrote it off as a side-effect of the adrenaline rush.
The next time it happened, it was a different story.
After the incident at The Beach, you got separated from the group while escaping the King of Spades, so you were glad you’d found Chishiya at the Jack of Hearts game. You were confident that if anyone could come up with a way to win the game, it would be him.
Wary of everyone else, you teamed up with Chishiya. Even though you trusted him, you couldn’t help but feel uneasy as every other player became suspicious and started accusing and betraying each other.
When two players, a guy and a girl, cornered you behind a shelf while you were picking a snack and tried to convince you Chishiya was telling everyone you were the Jack, you snapped.
‘You can trust us,’ the girl said with a simpering smile.
‘Leave me alone,’ you mumbled, shouldering past her.
The guy stood in front of you, blocking your way. ‘We’re just trying to help you, we don’t believe you’re the Jack but that means he’s a lying bastard and—’
Before you could stop yourself you had raised your arm, your fist balled, ready to hit him. But something did stop you. You turned around to find Chishiya was holding your arm.
‘No violence allowed, remember?’ Chishiya said. The guy and the girl walked away.
You nodded but you couldn’t speak. It had suddenly dawned on you why you were reacting to any provocation against him. You felt strongly against that because you felt strongly for him.
‘Hearts,’ Chishiya muttered.
‘What?’
‘That’s your suit.’
‘Right.’ You wanted to run away, far away.
‘Wait. Can you tell me mine?’ He turned around.
‘Hearts, too,’ you said, your voice on the shaky side, and then you ran to a cell. ‘Hearts!’ you almost yelled when the robotic voice asked. ‘Hearts, stupid hearts,’ you kept muttering to yourself.
You heard the remaining players stepping outside their cells, whispering to each other, getting ready for the next round, but you couldn’t bring yourself to open the door. How could you see Chishiya in the eye? You were sure he’d see right through you, just because you had been slow to recognize your feelings it didn’t mean he hadn’t noticed. You sat on the floor with your head in your hands, you wanted to cry. A tear was running down your face when the door to your cell slid open.
‘Why are you still here?’ Chishiya asked.
You shrugged, determinedly looking at your feet.
‘I thought someone else had tricked you into saying a different suit and your collar had exploded.’
‘Like it matters,’ you muttered.
‘It matters. I don’t want you to die.’
‘Right, because you need a partner to win this game.’
‘Not just because of that.’ He offered you his hand, you took it and stood up. ‘Come on, let’s clear this game. And then we’ll talk.’

The Arena - Part 7
Tumblr media
Universe: Alice in Borderland Pairing: Chishiya x reader Disclaimers and Warnings: This is going to have some descriptions of anxiety and panic attacks as well as the general 'alice in borderland' violence. Be warned.
Anything between these // // is a flashback/not real.
Part 1 // Part 2 // Part 3 // Part 4 // Part 5 // Part 6 // Part 7 // Part 8 // Part 9 // End
• ··········· • ············ •
Ari was sitting on her bed, hair pulled up in a tank top and shorts, the knot of a bathing suit peeking from under her garments. She looked at you.
"Oh did I wake you?"
"What?" You looked around the sunlit room.
"You were sound asleep, I didn't want to wake you." She explained.
"What time is it?" You asked, dragging your body out of bed.
"Humm…10:30 or so. Kaori and Chishiya are already downstairs. Apparently Chishiya has been up since 7."
You reached the duffle bag with your weekend clothes and grabbed them, nodding at whatever Ari was saying. Your mind was still trying to remember bits and pieces of the dream as you softly closed the door to the bathroom.
Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, your eyes shifted to your neck. Unsurprisingly there was a faded, thin scar on the skin. It ran from the middle of your throat to your jaw. You had some of those scattered around your body, as well as some substantial ones.
Looking at your eyes in the mirror a flash of your own bloody face and neck took you by surprise. You took a step back and blinked, the vision disappearing.
"Hey, smart ass, how good are you at counting cards?" Kaori asked, walking towards the group.
The rest of the group was tucked under a sun umbrella. Ari and you were lying on beach towels watching something on her phone and drinking something sweet and fruity. In the meantime, Chishiya was lying in the shade, with only his legs in the sun, trying to nap, his drink forgotten.
“Which smart-ass are you trying to call?” You asked without looking up.
“All of you, but mostly Chishiya.” They sat in another sun lounge.
“Chishiya isn’t here at the moment.” The man announced, without moving. “Please try your call again at a later time.”
“Oh come on. Can you or can you not count cards?” They asked again.
All of you heard, more than saw the doctor inhale and exhale, moving to sit on the lounger, pulling the hood of his jacket down.
“Why?” He asked, his eyes blinking slowly and Kaori shoved something into his hand.
You saw his jaw clench and unclench as he looked at the piece of paper your friend had given him.
“I can, but I’m not.” He said and gave the paper back to Kaori.
“Why not?”
“It’s cheating.” He replied lying back down.
“Oh come on, we all know you’re not above cheating at game night.” Ari added after looking at the pamphlet, passing it over to you.
The small red and black sheet announced ‘Game Night at Seaside Paradise! - Come play and win some great prizes!’. There were four face cards printed under the title and your breath was caught in your throat. Without realizing it, your eyes shifted to Chishiya. He was doing his usual slow blinking, but his shoulders were tensing.
Once again the feeling of being stuck without an escape entered your mind, but looking around there was nothing strange happening. The pool was filled with coworkers and families spending the weekend. The doors inside were widely open and the pathway that led to the coast was open as well. And yet, you felt trapped and that awful burning smell came back.
“It’ll be fun! You could prove how superior you are to all those old ladies at the bingo table.” Ari laughed.
“We are giving you free rein on your high horse!” Kaori exclaimed. Suddenly a series of loud popping sounds were heard, and the music stopped. Both you and Chishiya got up from your places faster than the speed of light. Both of you looked around, both alert. You could feel your heart in your throat and your breathing was labored. You saw Chishiya’s breath deepen as well.
You looked at him and he looked at you. The resounding sound of a gun firing and people screaming echoed in your heads. He frowned for a second and then shook his head at you.
"Sorry guys!!" A loud cheerful voice over the loud was heard." Seems like the DJ was having too much fun!!"
Some laughs and cheers could be heard around the pool as the music resumed. But neither of you seemed to relax.
"Huh…guys?" Kaori questioned, their teasing tone turning serious. "It's cool. The guy in the DJ booth knocked over the mic."
Taking a deep breath, you turned your gaze from the man to your other friends. They were looking up at both of you, their faces laced with concern. "Sorry." You apologized as you moved to sit down again, paying attention as you noticed Chishiya's lounge chair had knocked over the drinks. "Oh! I'm gonna run and get us more of these."
Before any of them could say anything you grabbed the three spilled glasses and briskly walked towards the bar, trying to shake the fear that zipped through your spine. After the dream, something had changed in you. You didn’t remember much of it, but this feeling of fearlessness had started to fight the anxiety and apprehension that were gripping you tight. And although you had managed not to cower as the loud sound was heard, you were still a tad shaken.
You sat at the bar and waved at the man behind it, asking him to refill the glasses. He nodded and took them away. Across from you a pair of twins were whispering and looking around. You tried not to stare but you'd seen them before. You shrugged. There were a lot of people around, yet your eyes kept looking at them, until you blinked and they were not there.
“Great. I’m seeing ghosts now.” You mumbled placing a hand on your forehead.
"Then I hope you asked for the virgin drinks." You heard a raspy voice drawl behind you.
"Pshh…and miss the chance to see you drunk?” you swiveled your chair to look at the man.
Chishiya was standing there, hands in the pockets of his swim trunks, and white the hood up on this blueish jacket. No shirt underneath.
"Does all your clothing have pockets?" You asked and he nodded.
"Yes and all my jackets have hoodies" he grinned at you, sitting in the chair next to you and pushing the said hood down.
"There were no hoodies in the suits." You laughed as the expression on his face changed into a mocking one.
"They are sewn into the lining." He said with a serious face.
"Shut up." You slapped his shoulder and he mocked the injury. “You didn’t need to come to me. The buddy system only works if we’re out of sight.”
"As much as I enjoy being your unspoken buddy, that’s not why I’m here.” He confessed and you raised your eyebrows. “It’s all about the math: Four glasses, two hands and a DJ that likes sudden pops."
“Ah…” You acknowledged, grinning. “Of course. My knight in a shiny hoodie, I suppose.”
Chishiya gave you a look of surprise, but the corners of his lips slowly turned upwards. You looked away, mimicking his smile, silently blaming the alcohol in the drinks for the boldness. A comfortable silence fell between you as you waited for the barman to finish the drinks.
"We have to go to the Game thingy." You told him suddenly and he raised an eyebrow.
"We do?"
You nodded profusely, looking at your other friends over your shoulder. Their heads were leaning together, trying and failing to hide the fact they were staring at the two of you. You heard Chishiya humming as he looked back as well.
“We do.”
“Why?” he asked.
“Because those two lovely humans have been through it with us and they deserve a little fun. So, you’re gonna brush up on your card counting and we’re gonna win these people some prizes…” You replied, and saw one of his eyebrows raise. “Or we are babysitting them at the nightclub.”
Chishiya was still looking at you with a surprised look, his grin turning to a full smile and laughter. This is something he didn’t do often, but you were always glad to see his toothy smile.
“Card counting it is.”

I'm begging for more Kuzuryu content🙏
Some info so no one is confused: Kuzuryu decided to not stay in the Borderlands and leave with you but you were the only one who remembered everything
Also I don't think the last quote makes since but I tried. First time trying to write a story based on a quote.
Kuzuryu x reader
Tumblr media
The last game was cleared and you stood by his side. Your eyes filled with tears and a smile fell upon your face. You looked at Kuzuryu who looked down at you with a small smile.
You both were going to leave the Borderlands and meet each other in the real world; you promised. "I decline" you say looking up a the dark sky "I also decline" he says squeezing your hand.
-
Your eyes slowly opened but squinted at the bright light. You let out a groan of confusion and slowly say up. You felt like your world was spinning and you clutched your head. "Mm fuck" you groaned
You looked around the room and noticed you were in a hospital. You blinked a couple of times before your eyes widened. "Kuzuryu!" Your shouted, tossing your blanket off you. You stumbled off the bed, you just had to find him!
You stumbled into the hallway and looked around for a nurse. You saw one in the distance and you made your way to her. "Hey excuse me but do you know where Kuzuryu Keiichi is?" You asked her in a rushed tone
She looked at you in bewilderment and stuttered. "Uhh are you family or.." she asked "I'm his partner" you said she sighed "He should be down the hall then to the 3rd right" she said
You rushed down the hallway and made your way to his room. You burst into his room with tears pricking your eyes. The man startled awake and looked at with eyes wide. "Who are you?!" He asked clutching his sheets
Your eyes widened "I-its me Kuzuryu, (your name).." you said panting his eyebrows furrowed and looked at you with confusion. "Doesn't ring at bell are you feeling okay?" Your heart felt like it shattered and you felt like your breath was knocked out of you.
Tears fell out of your eyes and you looked away. "I can't believe you don't remember...you promised..all that time together and the memories" you gasped for air as your mind was going all over the place.
You couldn't believe it, Kuzuryu forgot everything. You looked up at your former lover who looked at you with distrust. The eyes that were filled with love now filled with disgust. You ran off and Kuzuryu sat in his bed with confusion written all over his face.
You ran outside and sat in a beach that was shaded by a tree. You brought your knees to your chest. You let out all your frustrations and cried. You mumbled though broken sobs,
"None of it was real, but I wish it was"

Lord of Chaos new reader thoughts: Chapters 6-10
Chapter 6: Threads Woven of Shadow
oh this was a juicy chapter. I'm interested in the relationships between the Forsaken and I'm enjoying all the information we're getting about their backstories, motivations and current plans. Sammael and Graendal working together and having been allies for a long time... I feel like your relationships after 3000 years are all going to be batshit. in my mind the Forsaken are the most fucked-up polycule of all time. like the Lyctors from The Locked Tomb but honestly the Forsaken probably won't be as interesting.
Semirhage: what theeeee fuck. I listened to this part while I was getting coffee on my lunch break and by the end of it my eyes were SO wide. first of all her whole backstory was like "I liked torturing people for fun at my doctor job but everyone else didn't want me to do that :( but I literally deserved it because I am so smart and they're so out of pocket for not letting me :(" GIRL??? and then torturing the Aes Sedai and her Warder. ow ow ow ow. this was my favorite chapter yet but it did fuck me up lol.
Chapter 7: A Matter of Thought
Elaida's stole has no blue stripe... the SHADE!! and demoting Shemerin to Accepted?? she is such a messy Amrylin. I have no choice but to stan.
Beonin is an evil-sounding name to me. there have to be Black Ajah in Salidar, so based on literally nothing I'm guessing she's one.
overall, I continue to really like tel'aran'rhiod as a setting and I like that it has rules that we're learning along with the characters. also all the Aes Sedai bitching is both fun and frustrating. we'll see which way the scales tip for me on that.
also! I forgot that Nynaeve and Myrelle are both in Salidar now!! I'm putting on my clown nose and wig and shoes hoping for a Lan/Nynaeve reunion this book.
Chapter 8: The Storm Gathers
this was a good chapter but I don't really have anything to say about it. yay for spending time with Moggy. I continue to dislike Gareth and love Nyaneve, what else is new.
Chapter 9: Plans
totally zoning out for the Whitecloaks politics sorry. I know this is important but I have better things to do (pay attention to the Aes Sedai instead).
Chapter 10: A Saying in the Borderlands
this chapter was WILD so I'm just going to work through it in order.
Rand you listened to Lan's advice a little too well. you might be the Dragon but you're also still a human being and it's okay to want things!!! on that note, please talk to Aviendha, good lord.
the Emond's Field girls were a gut punch to me, wanting to go to Tar Valon to become Aes Sedai. they're so young and hopeful and don't know about the Tower split! also Alanna mourning her Warder got me.
AND THEN SHE NONCONSENSUALLY BONDED RAND. first of all, what the fuck. second of all, why the fuck. third of all, no one in this situation reacted well to anything except Verin trying to be motherly to the EF girls when they were scared, although her attempt to be motherly did include giving them a bunch of brandy so... you know. I don't fully understand why Alanna bonded Rand or the implications of it, but after the initial shock wore off I'm not that surprised - I mean, she said outright in book 4 that someone should bond the three boys, and Elayne's nonconsensual bonding with Birgitte set up that possibility clearly enough that I did expect her to try to bond one of them.
Alanna fully breaking down with Verin was a standout scene to me. this woman is Not doing well and she isn't making decisions of sound mind and body. I mean, neither is Rand, so I'm morbidly curious about how this situation will work out.
overall: definitely hitting my stride now with this book. future posts might be shorter because while I love to talk, I'd also like to get a move on with this series 😅 it's starting to feel like I'll never finish, and I'm at a point where I need to know everything.

I was ignoring you.. My personal life has been really preocupying me lately, that I've been too drained to say or do anything lately. So I haven't done so much since the last time we had our conversation.
But I'm back. Kinda.
~
I have been slowly getting into more Asian series.. Like I have always watched foreign movies but now I'm watching shows too. If I'm being honest, it really has taken me some time to start getting into lots of foreign shows because I'm not a fast reader at all.
I'll still watch anime in English. But I am branching out into watching some Asian media now, at least a lot more often for me anyway. But it takes me a few times to watch a show, or at least a scene, because sometimes the subtitles can be a bit fast for me.
Anyway..
Some Asian shows I've been watching lately? So I'd just finished rewatching Alice In Borderland again, I watched watched Sweet Home. Mask Girl was okay too. All Of Are Dead. And so many more series. A lot of Japanese and Korean series lately. I mean.. There are a lot more that I've watched lately, but that may be a long list if I listed every series. But there is a lot of shows I've watched, not just those shows.
But, as you can see, my genres in series does kinda slightly vary from time to time.. From action, horror, dystopian, thrillers, and any genres in between too.
Usually if I'm into crime series, usually those genres are criminal syndicate genres. Like mafiaesque.
And as for anime.. I do enjoy both versions of lots of series, for the most part. If the series that was really recreated. But it depends on the series though.
I enjoyed both versions of Fullmetal Alchemist but I am slightly biased to Brotherhood, just because the characters I like - some of the characters I like - just weren't in the original version. Which we've just said now. That's usually one reason why I enjoy remakes.
As for Black Clover.. That's how I am about certain characters. I tend to have mixed feelings about too many characters, especially Gauche, because of his obsession towards his sister. But that's just me. So.. Yeah. There's plenty of developments for characters and plot throughout the series, just different pacing though. But there's definitely enough development.
Obviously there are a lot of short characters. But I'll always feel like I can never find the short characters that are my height, besides the few characters I did just mention. Saiko (TG) and Charmy (BC) are really my height - so I'm definitely short, Runa (Kakeguri) is surprisingly shorter than me. And you being taller than me.. Yeah. You're taller than me. But, out of the women I knew, I've known girls who were nearly six feet tall (like Balalaika and Olivier). I know many tall people. Most guys I knew was way over six feet tall. So many tall people in my life... It's not even funny. I get always annoyed with them all the time about so many things. Especially teasing me at my expense.
~
Not really. I actually had to cancel any other plans for my birthday because of these personal reasons so I never had a chance to do anything else, now I'll say the motivation I had for these plans are gone so who knows when I'll have fun plans again.
But one thing I did. I actually splurged some money on myself, at least more money than I usually would anyway. But I really bought another new pair of Doc Martin boots, boots are platform heightened boots. Not that I don't love my short size! Because I do. But I've always wanted platform sized sizes ever since I was a mini "goth" child. I really hate labels.
Yeah. Hopefully I'll try colors with orange, but I have been enjoying the shades of blue. Actually.. I'll really be adding more blue shades within the next couple days, I'll be adding that electric blue that I wanted - the blue shade that was unavailable for my birthday so now I'll be adding that blue with the other blues.
💋
Ah its good to see you back! don’t worry about it, life happens, but I hope you’re doing better 😊
I’ve heard a little bit about Alice in Borderland! I’ve seen it around on Netflix… I think. Sweet Home I’ve watched before too, although i prefer the webtoon. is All of us are Dead the Korean zombie film? i also enjoyed that one, my friend recommended it to me last year. in general i love a lot of korean thriller shows, I think they really do a good job building suspense and acting it out. you might enjoy Vincenzo too, since I heard it’s action packed and has the mafiaso theme from what I’ve seen(?). it was a highly recommended film. Train to Busan and Kingdom also has that thriller/horror/zombie vibe as All of us are Dead, if you ever want to check them out 👀
Oh, and I finished Black Clover anime too! …and the movie… and the manga 😂 Starting it for Mereoleona was the best decision, she’s truly amazing. now it's just a waiting game for more content for her. charlotte and vanessa is also up there on my list of favs too. I have a lot of mixed feelings on a lot of the characters as well, and there’s some popular ones that i surprisingly dislike, but overall it has a decent cast and the plot is very fun
The teasing always come to us shorter people yes… so sorry to hear you have to deal with a lot of those :( splurging once in a while on yourself is always satisfying. especially if its something you've wanted for a while. i love how those boots look! and from the sound of it you seem to be rocking your blue hair too 💙

Come Home With Me - Shade/Reader

"You could just stay, yanno," Shade sighed as he leaned back in his beach chair that you had helped him haul up to an empty rooftop.
You looked over at him as you slowly cleaned your rifle, making sure you didn't miss any pieces. Your weapon was full of sand. Not that it surprised you, you were literally surrounded by sand. You offered him a timid smile before turning your attention back to your gun, watching how the sun glinted off the metal of the barrel. You could stay, you wanted to stay, but how could you? There was a war to fight, a war to win. But that didn't make this any easier for you, for either of you. Sure, Shade understood that you had to leave, that you had a job to do. He wanted Handsome Jack dead as much as you did, at least you thought so. The two of you truthfully hardly spoke of Handsome Jack, of Hyperion, or even the vault. Though to be honest you weren't positive Shade was aware, or understood much of what was happening outside of his little 'slice of paradise' as he had once called it. You didn't mind it, you actually enjoyed it, funnily enough. It was nice to get a break, to talk about other things than the world possibly ending. Your mind was filled with countless worries and anxieties, that you and the crimson raiders would fail, that Jack would win and that would be it. You had only talked about it with Shade once, told him that you were scared you would fail and let everyone down, that if Handsome Jack won then everyone you knew and loved would surely die... Shade hadn't said much, except for "if you fail, and we do all die, I'm glad I got to know you." You never spoke of it again. Shade sighed again, louder this time when you didn't answer him, earning another glance from you over your shoulder.
"I'm just saying, you don't have to leave," Shade grumbled as he crossed his arms over his chest and looked out into the vast openness.
You hummed quietly in response, setting your gun to the side and pushing yourself to your feet, walking over to Shade and standing in front of his chair, motioning for him to move his legs from the leg rest. Shade sat up some, moving his legs so that way you could sit down. You sighed softly as you sat next to him, leaning over and laying your head on his chest. His chest stopped moving, holding his breath as he did every single time you laid on him as if every time it caused his system to shut down. You adjusted yourself slightly, draping your arm over his torso as you stared out into the distance, watching how the sun shone on the abandoned ship and the sand runners that were flying through the dunes. He slowly lowered his arm and wrapped it around your shoulder, rubbing his thumb over your arm gently. Neither of you said anything, you simply laid there, taking in your surroundings, the feelings of your bodies pressed against each other as you simply existed in this peaceful moment. That was all you wanted anymore, you simply wanted to exist next to him. You didn't want the feeling of the world on your shoulders, you didn't want so many people to depend on you to save them. There was only so much you could do, and for Shade, that was enough. You had always wanted to just be enough for someone, and for him, that's what you were, you were more than just enough, but he never expected anything from you. Nothing more than what you were able to give. Sometimes you contemplated leaving the Crimson Raiders, to take a much-needed break and stay in Oasis with Shade. Recently you had been toying with the idea of what you would do when you were finally done if you survived. The thought of staying in Oasis, cleaning it up and making it liveable again, possibly even getting more people here would cross your mind often. Yeah, that would be nice, to revitalize the town again, and bring people in so Shade would have more company. You pressed your lips into a thin line and tore your gaze away from the horizon, squeezing your eyes shut as you pressed your face into his chest, tightening your grip around his stomach. All of that would have to wait. No matter how much you thought about it, you knew you wouldn't be able to leave until you had seen this through to the end, whatever end that may be.
"I don't want to leave either," You whispered against his chest, your voice barely audible.
Shade shifted some as he looked down at you, his sunglasses nearly falling off his face as he did so. He squeezed your shoulder gently, jostling you slightly in an attempt to get you to look up at him. You groaned and twisted yourself where you laid, smothering your face in his shirt.
"No, c'mon tell me what you said," Shade urged as he nudged you again, only doing it a third time when you whined.
"What did you say?" He asked quietly.
You sighed and pulled your face back, looking up at him pathetically, "I said I don't want to leave either."
He tried to hide it, but it failed as he ultimately smiled at your comment. He was never shy about how badly he wanted you to stay with him, how much he hated every single time you would leave. Always worried about whether or not you would come home to him again. You always did, sure, sometimes it would take longer than expected, but you always came home to him, and you always would. That was one thing he was sure of, that you would never leave him here by himself. He had been so used to life on his own, and then you rolled into his little town, and suddenly he found himself craving human interaction, craving company and the sound of another voice that wasn't his. In a way, you had saved him, from a fate that would be worse than death.
"I know..." He hummed as he looked up at you, "I want you to stay here with me forever... But I know you have a job to do."
You smiled softly, leaning up some and planting a soft kiss on the sun-worn skin of his cheek. One day you two would have all the time in the world, one day the two of you would have your forever. But that didn't quell the worry in you, you worried not only for his sanity but his physical safety. Pirates had been plaguing the town since the day you had shown up, it was hard for you to handle taking them all down on your own, you wished that there was somewhere that you could take Shade, so the two of you didn't have to be apart for so long, and so he wouldn't have to risk his neck out here in a dead town. You raised your eyebrows as a solution dawned on you, and Shade raised an eyebrow at you, frowning slightly.
"Oh I am not a fan of that look on your face right now," Shade groaned, letting his head fall back against the chair.
"Come with me," You blurted out, surprised at your own forwardness as Shade laughed.
"I'm serious, Shade! Come back to Sanctuary with me... We could be together all the time and there are more people there," You bargained, "And then when it's all over we'll come back here."
Shade was silent for a moment, chewing on his lower lip as he mulled over the thought. He tilted his head to the side some and sighed before he glanced back down at you.
"But this is my home..." Shade said softly and you frowned, reaching up and placing a gentle hand on the side of his face.
"I know it is... But we can come back? Why don't you come to see my home for a little while..." You offered quietly, you weren't going to force him, you would understand if he wanted to stay here if he wanted to stay where he was comfortable and was around.... "people" he knew better.
He didn't answer you for what felt like an eternity before he sighed and leaned down, kissing the top of your head, his lips lingering for a moment, "I suppose... anywhere is home as long as I am with you."

In the noise that the other residents at the Beach bring, Chishiya finds peace and quiet with you. At first, he thought you were ignoring him, but he learned through Kuina that you were deaf and mostly kept to yourself. But when Chishiya finds himself in a game with you, he'd wave at you, letting out a chuckle as he sees your face turn bright red under the lighting, waving at him before running away from him. Before returning back to the hotel, he'd grab a book that would teach him how to talk to you in sign language, making sure he's read and absorbed all the knowledge the book offers him before he can officially try to talk to you, subtly flirting with you in sign language and though you may not notice it, he'd watch you from afar and study you - learning how you expressed with your emotions, following your eye movements and the little habits that you do.
You may believe it or not, but Niragi has a crush on you. There were moments were in he'd find you away from the crowd, all by yourself under the pink kalachuchi tree, absorbed in a book and in your own little world. The reputation he built for himself in the Borderlands would be out the window whenever you're close to him. It's as if he's suddenly a school boy who couldn't walk up to his crush. He then tried to pluck up his courage and say hi to you in the lobby, only for you to walk pass by him. At that moment, he felt like a puppy kicked to the side by it's owner and the other militants were laughing at him. Obviously he felt hurt, but he didn't give up just yet. When he found you under the kalachuchi tree that afternoon, he'd strike up another conversation with you, only to see you ignore him again. So he tried to sit down beside you under the shade, peering his face close to yours - and that's the first time you looked up at him. He'd blabber a lot only for him to see you looking at him with a blank expression and your hands doing motions. Niragi then realized you were deaf. But your condition isn't something that will stop him from talking to you, he'd learn how to talk to you in sign language and let you know of his feelings through acts of service and gift giving.

Niragi gif credit
Music was blaring through the speakers at the highest volume possible and made your ears almost bleed. You swore you could feel the bass in your bones, shaking them against each other to the beat. You had become immune to the deafening dubstep music and the annoying yells of everyone in the large crowd. People were pushed up close and personal to one another, grinding against each other like a pack of horny animals. It made you sick.
You leant against the neon-lighted bar that was fixated about twenty metres from the dance floor. You watched as people pushed each other into the pool nearby as you took a large puff from your cigarette. You had never smoked before being thrown into this horrific world, but the stress and worry brought you to consider the damaging habit.
“Bunch of idiots,” you muttered angrily under your breath. “How the fuck are they having fun? Do they not realize their brutal fates are waiting to creep up on them?”
Your close friend Sara sat in the stool beside you. She glanced at you and then in the direction you were staring. “I mean, I guess that’s why they’re having fun. They only have such a short life ahead of them,” she responded, turning back to the bar and taking a swig of her drink.
“I mean to be honest Y/N, I’m surprised you’re not letting loose of your cold attitude and having fun,” Sara stated over her shoulder to you.
You broke your gaze from everyone else and looked at her from the side. “Why is that?” you asked, curious as to what she meant.
She looked at you and smirked. “Don’t play dumb. I’ve seen you,” she chuckled.
“Huh?”
“You and that militant. You’ve been getting awfully close to the psychopath. When did it all start?” she sneered.
You pulled a confused expression before realizing what she was referring to. “Oh you mean Niragi,” you said, “We just help each other out at games, it increases our chance of surviving.” You brushed off her accusation and took another puff of your cigarette.
“Sorry if I’m being nosy, but it’s just strange,” Sara assured. “In the months I’ve been here, I’ve never seen Niragi warm up to someone. He’s always remained the same unempathetic, abusive bastard that I’ve always known.”
You stared at her side profile, not being too sure what to say.
You wouldn’t say that you had a good relationship with Niragi, considering the fact that he really did know how to push your buttons. If anything he was your enemy. But for some reason when you two were placed into the same groups to complete a game, you work together and against the others.
It was like he completely changed his persona from a cold-hearted prick to an overly protective (still a prick) figure. It gave you whiplash at times.
You let out a small chuckle and smirked at Sara. “And how would working with Niragi make me want to go and dance more Sara?” you questioned, going back to the topic you started at.
Sara turned herself around fully and stared you down right in the eyes. “All I’m saying is, if you’re looking for a quick way to die, keep sticking around Niragi. You know how he is Y/N, and when he gets the chance, he’ll put a bullet between your eyes with that rifle of his.”
She stood up off her stool and strutted towards the pool with her drink in her hand, probably to have some fun herself, considering the games were beginning in the next couple of hours. No one knew which night would be their last.
Your eyes followed her figure as she walked away. “Huh, maybe she’s just jealous,” you muttered.
You turned around and leaned over the bar, asking the bartender to make you a drink. The blonde girl nodded and got to mixing it for you. You sat in the seat that Sara previously was and let out a big sigh. You honestly were getting tired of the constant parties every single night, it was starting to get old.
No matter how hard you tried to ignore it, your mind kept bringing you back to what Sara was saying about Niragi and you. Was it really getting that obvious? Were other people noticing?
The bartender slid the drink towards you and you thanked her. You lifted the cold drink to your lips and tipped your head back, taking a big amount into your body. You wanted to be at least slightly intoxicated when the games start. It always helped ease your anxiety.
As your head began to feel heavier and your limbs became a bit numb, you noticed that the usual warm chatter that surrounded the neon bar had dissolved, almost to silence. You were confused, whipping your head around to see the cause.
You felt your face drop into a scowl as you noticed the familiar face that you hated so much. Niragi’s black and white button up turned turquoise from the lighting, and his eyes which were a deep dark black as he peered around the bar looking for something. You locked eyes with the all too familiar rifle that hung on his shoulders effortlessly, obviously just there for show.
You pointed that out to him one time which ended with your back against a hallway wall and the barrel of the rifle pressed harshly against your temple with Niragi’s disgusting spit in your eye. “You still think it’s for show?” he hissed.
He tried so desperately to get you to be scared of him at The Beach. Why in the hell did that brutal and bully personality of his fade at the games?
You swiveled back around in your seat, facing your back towards the frightening man.
‘Why can’t he just fuck off,’ you thought to yourself. ‘Why do I have to run into him everyday.’ It was becoming a bit suspicious, the amount of times you would catch Niragi around the corner of a room you’re in. He would always play it off as by chance but you’ve begun to think otherwise.
A hand slowly placed itself on your bare lower back and someone leaned in close to your ear. “Hey there sweetheart, I’ve been looking for you all night. A little birdie told me you would be here,” you heard Niragi purr into your ear.
You cringed at his sickening sweet tone and turned away from him. You could smell the slight tang of metallic blood on him. He’d probably ‘took care’ of someone some time earlier.
“What the fuck do you want Niragi,” you growled, not looking him in the eye. Niragi chuckled at your tone.
“That’s not a very nice hello. I thought you would’ve warmed up to me by now. You seem to put an awful lot of trust in me at games.”
He tucked a piece of hair behind your ear and pinched your earlobe gently between his thumb and index finger. You rolled your eyes into the back of your head in annoyance and slapped his hand away from your face.
“Piss off. If you’ve come here just to get on my nerves then you can beat it.” you spat at him harshly. He seemed taken back by your bold movements.
“Are you sure you want to speak to me that way? I might just leave you to die if you’re rude enough to me.” he snickered, keeping that smug smirk on his face that made you want to bash him over the head.
“So be it then, at least when I’m dead I won’t have to deal with your annoying ass.” You stuffed the rest of your cigarette into a tray on the table and stood up out of your seat to face the tall man head on.
He towered over you, that annoying and insolent smile never leaving his tanned face. Just his face alone created a rage in you that was indescribable.
“I don’t need some psychotic man with a machine gun to protect me Niragi. I am fine on my own. If anything, I could beat your cocky ass with my bare hands alone.”
“Well you seem awfully confident. Keep that same attitude when I have you cornered during a game, you might have to prove yourself right in order to survive.”
“Is that a threat?”
“It’s however you want to take it sweetie. A threat or a head-start.”
You frowned up at the man, not knowing how to respond. You walked back to the seat and grabbed your jacket that hung off it. “Have fun by yourself you prick. Why don’t you choose a fucking personality and stop switching between the two. You give me bloody whiplash.” You spat down at his feet, narrowly missing his shoe and marched away from him towards the pool to look for Sara.
You didn’t want to put up with his bullshit that night. You weren’t in the mood to start a verbal war with him, especially in front of everyone.
You found Sara sitting on the edge of the pool. There weren’t a lot of people around her, as everyone was either at the bar or on the dance floor.
You placed your hand gently on her shoulder and sat down next to her with your feet in the heated pool. It was a kind of awkward silence for a few moments before Sara spoke up.
“Sorry about before, I shouldn’t have assumed anything,” she started, looking into your eyes. “I understand that it must be hard for you, being the object of a psychotic man’s desires.” She said empathetically.
You appreciated her concern, as there were times where you were honestly scared for your life around Niragi. He really wasn’t the best person to be around, but you had already known that before you got closer with him. You never thought he would become as annoying and insistent as he had.
“I’m just worried about you. He’s a manipulative and untrustworthy person and I would hate to come back from a game one day to see your body with a bullet through your head.”
You stared into the water thinking about Sara’s words. “I know, I would hate that as well. I don’t trust him like that Sara. I would never put my own life in his hands, because I know he would hurt me with no remorse whatsoever.”
You both sat in silence for a bit with Sara leaning her head onto your shoulder. You wanted to spend this nice time together before leaving, just in case anything was to happen.
“I better go,” she announced after a while. She stood up and placed her hand on the top of your head. “Good luck Y/N. Make sure you don’t die out there. If anyone can survive, it’s you.”
You smiled at her words and looked up at her. “You too Sara. Love you.”
She said it back and then trudged off into the direction of the entrance to the hotel.
You wanted to be alone with your thoughts for a bit, but that didn’t last long when a tipsy young man with brown hair decided to plop himself right next to you, a little too close to just be friendly.
“Hey love! You’re looking awfully gorgeous tonight,” he beamed, placing an arm around your shoulder. You were taken back by his boldness, not knowing how to react.
“Oh, thanks I guess? I mean I’m dressed the same as I always am,” you said trying to keep the conversation light.
“Hmm really? Well I guess you’re just always gorgeous then,” he giggled and leaned closer to you.
You started to panic a little bit. This boy was a bit too flirty for his own good.
“Hey! Do you want to maybe come get a drink with me at the bar?” he asked in a cheery tone. You looked at him in shock and shook your head quickly. “No it’s fine really! I just had one so I don’t feel like another.” you insisted, laughing awkwardly.
“No really it’s fine! Actually you know what, I’ll grab it for you. You just wait here and I’ll be back soon,” he said with a big smile on his face. It seemed very contradicting to his pushy behaviour.
You started to get annoyed. “Please, it’s fine. I was just about to leave anyway,” you lied.
The young man still pushed. You found it quite pathetic really. Was he really that desperate?
Before you could even say anything else, you suddenly saw the man fly sideways and land in the pool. Your mouth fell open in shock and you watched as he came back to the surface gasping for air. “What the fuck? Who was that?!” he yelled out frustratingly. Everyone around the pool had gone silent to see what the commotion was.
You looked back to the side of the pool to see none other than Niragi himself who had a proud smile on his face. “It was me you little bitch.” The young man’s eyes widened in fear.
“Are you sure you want to go flirting around with a militant’s woman? You might just be looking to get your head blown off!” Niragi cackled psychotically. “Go find your own toy to play with.”
Niragi aimed his rifle towards the man and everyone surrounding the pool panicked and ducked down. The man screamed in fear and started yelling to do anything that might spare his life.
“My deepest apologies Niragi! I didn’t know she was with you! I promise I’ll stay away from her from now on!”
You felt somewhat belittled. How dare he apologize to Niragi but not you. You were the one that got harassed.
Niragi let out a giggle and pulled the trigger of his rifle. The deafening sound rang in your ears and you watched as the bullet narrowly missed the young man’s head by an inch, creating a splash in the water next to him.
Niragi kneeled down with an evil smile on his face and harshly gripped the boy by his hair to lift him closer to his face. “If you ever touch her again, I won’t hesitate to put multiple bullets between those annoying ass eyes of yours. You understand?” He growled.
“Yes! I understand sir! I promise!” the boy cried desperately.
Niragi let go of his hair and watched as he swam to the left of him to scramble out of the pool and sprint away from him towards the dance floor. Probably to hide among other people so if Niragi changed his mind about sparing him he would be harder to find.
You breathed heavily in shock, not believing what you just witnessed.
“What the fuck was that?!” you yelled at Niragi. He looked down at you with an emotionless expression.
“Huh?”
“That was so over dramatic! Niragi I don’t know if you know this, but we’re not together! We’re not even friends! You can’t go around threatening anyone who lays eyes on me!”
Niragi rolled his eyes and kneeled down to get closer to your face. “Look, that idiotic boy was just trying to get into your pants. He didn’t want anything else from you. I just did you a favor, you should be thanking me!” he exclaimed.
You furrowed your eyebrows in annoyance. “I was very aware of that fact Niragi, but I had it under control!”
“Did you really Y/N? Because from the way you were shaking it didn’t seem like you did.”
You stared into his deep, evil eyes. For once, you actually felt small underneath his gaze.
“Whatever, I’m going back to my room.” You stood up from your position and scurried away from the scene. As much as you hated to admit it, you were partly grateful to Niragi from saving you from that situation. You would never admit it to him though. You just wish he didn’t do it with so much aggression.
“Would you like me to walk you back-”
“Niragi! Fuck off!”
