Zane hasn’t been at the party long and he’s already buzzed, having pregamed a bit at home before heading out. Beer in hand, he looks over at someone also grabbing a drink, popping the cap off of the bottle as he speaks, “2018 has to be better than 2017, right? Like...we can all agree this year was a disaster, minus a few good things.”

mace had to call in some extra special favors in order to get out of work that night. after being invited to sul’s party, he knew all his friends would be there, and he wasn’t about to miss out on a night of celebrating the past year. he strolled into the party, which was already in full swing and began to scan the crowd for familiar faces. “in what world does sullivan have this many friends?”

our second event will be held tomorrow, starting at 5 pm est !!

event type: new years eve house party !! it’s a pretty simple event ▬ a house party to celebrate the new year with friends.  location: sullivan kingsley’s house invited: everyone !  timeframe: seagrove time, the party takes place sunday night and will go through the night into the new year. dash wise, posts can begin at 5 pm est and roll through monday to write out events. tagging system: use the tag sgrove:event2 to tag your event starters.

“Are ya comin’ or not? I know where he keeps the really good shite at,” Ailbe laughed with a grin, holding a practically empty bottle already because, despite her words, Sully didn’t disappoint when it came to a party. What she was drinking now was actually very good but at a certain point it didn’t matter, did it? As long as she was pissed by the end of the night, it’d be a good New Year’s. But she liked exploring and though she’d been here before it was a huge home that warranted many rooms filled party-goers, food and drink.

wiping her fingers on a napkin, tegan looked around, seeing if there was anyone slightly coherent to have a conversation with. “you know what i wanna know?” she started, smile never faltering. “how i’ve managed to eat a good half of these chips and i’m still starving. your girl needs something of substance as soon as possible,” she shook her head at herself before taking a sip of her sprite.

Atlas tapped her foot her head a little to the music as she nonchalantly poured a bottle of vodka into the punch bowl. She’d had a cup – and was quick to determine that it wasn’t quite boozy enough. Besides, no one would notice. And if they did, who would complain? Certainly not anyone she was interested in greeting the New Year with. Catching someone by the snacks table near her, she aimed a grin at the other. “Having a good time, darlin’? You should try the punch…” She hummed. She was far better at parties than subtly, clearly.

despite his track record for throwing damn good parties, sullivan was even impressed with himself as he looked over the party, leaning against the wall by the staircase. “alright, on a scale of one to ten ▬ “ he speaks, mainly to whoever was close enough to hear him. “how trashed do you think my house is gonna be ? “ he, of course, we no stranger to house parties and knew to put away anything of importance value, but the rest ? materialistic. “i’m gonna guess a solid nine.”

Kirby didn’t think showing up at Sullivan’s party was going to overwhelm him. But it did. No amounts of alcohol could stop everything from being to much. It only made everything worse. When he read peoples lips nothing made sense. To make everything worse he had a really bad case of the spins. He was a light weight after all. Kirby stumbled his way into the backyard. He took a seat down in the grass and looked up at the stars.

can you explain the event?

it’s pretty simple ▬ it’s just a house party at the house of resident rich boy, sullivan kingsley !! it starts, on the dash, at 5 pm est and the party technically runs through midnight but you don’t have to stop your threads at midnight, because finishing a thread in just a few hours is tricky. it’s essentially just a party to welcome the new year, but if you’re still confused, shoot me a message on @sullivanism and i’ll help you out !!
