Finally decided to post this pair which I picked up in 2021. The #NikeAirZoomType "Hyper Pink" Under Nike's concept-driven #N354 sub-label, a street-ready sneaker inspired by the record-setting #NikeAirZoomAlphaflyNEXT% is crafted. True to the N.354 tag, the sneaker has been repackaged with a deconstructed look while the original designer's input of the smaller details like the logo treatment, targeted perforation and exposed stitching are perfectly blended aesthetically. Other then it's look, what really makes this pair a staple in my casual rotation is how comfortable they are. The soft perforated suede upper not only feels premium but pleasant. There too is the consonance from the double stacked #Cushlon foam and the two visible "unlocked" #ZoomAir pucks in the forefoot modulated through the full-length TPU shank. The #Nike Air Zoom-Type come across as a younger sibling of the Nike Air Zoom Alphafly NEXT% without all that "aggression" to propel and RUN yet has every potential to do so. My only complaint is that even though True To Size in my case, there is still some heel slippage and my solution to that is to wear at least mid-padded quarter length socks to add grip to the thin collar / heel area of the shoe. With that being said, I would recommend to try them in store if you can as some may even go half size down in them. Concluding, the cushioning in these feels plush and could have you mistaking it for #NikeReact and uniquely responsive when you do stride hard. The rubber #NikeWaffle outsole (homage) provides surprisingly great traction even on wet roads. #NewBalance #890v8 #NightRun Breaking these out of it's box (finally) gave me a really great tempo run I've not been able to get out of my current rotation. #IMO I do think that these are asthetically good looking. Crediting to the engineered mesh upper made up of 2 layers: a lightweight "strong" mesh outer that overlays atop the "reflective print" interior liner. The upper provides a near sock-like fit thanks to the gusseted tongue and substantially padded heel collar. I enjoyed my run as my foot was locked down and no irritation from a tongue that stayed put. The upper is breathable and heat was dispersed efficiently throughout my 3.56k run in 19:32 mins. I chose a 2E width for that tad more wiggle room as I heard that the D width was a tad snug/narrow. I do prefer a snug fit for my runners however ample room for toes to "stretch" is always welcomed. The #FuelCell midsole is firm but has a good bounce to it when I stride heavy. It gave me a smooth transition and ride as it has a good energy return leading to faster steps which in turn pushed my pace. I too loved the wide ground contact #REVlite foam concentrated under the ball of the foot which encourages confidence with each step. This setup do remind me of having forefoot #ZoomAir in my basketball shoes and I do wish that this was actually implemented to the #TwoWXY Overall, the shoe feels fun and comfortable and boost confidence in pushing your own pace to improve. Glad to make this a staple in my rotation. #KOTD #NewBalance327 "Captain Blue" #Multicolor A great summer pair and goes with almost every outfit I would wear. Sleek yet bold. Standard EVA midsole, which is at best, cushioning enough for those walks and chill days. The Nylon upper makes the shoe light and breathable and I love how premium the multiple suede overlays are. However do note that the colors do run. Lastly, it's true to size with ample room for my toes however its a bit "narrow" at the midfoot area due to how slim the silhouette is. I would recommend going up half a size if you have wide feet. #KOTD #Asics #GelLyteXXX "Coral" Loving this 'upgrade/remake' of the #GelLyte My favourite has to be the shoe's slightly protruding external heel stabilizer that looks so subtly cool yet functions to keep your feet firmly in place for added comfort and support. (Swipe Left) As with it's predecessors, the dynamic split-tongue design accompanied with a new upper of durable ripstop nylon with taped seams and premium leather used at the heel, has a contoured and personalized fit. The #FLYTEFOAM midsole is light and though firm, does provide a comfortable ride with an extra bounce.
