Never before released on home video and newly scored by the Alloy Orchestra, A PAGE OF MADNESS (1926) by Japanese auteur Teinosuke Kinugasa is widely considered to be one of the touchstones of early avant-garde cinema. We pair it with American director Henwar Rodakiewicz's PORTRAIT OF A YOUNG MAN (1925-31), featuring a new piano score by Judith Rosenberg.
