Here is another Sparkstone series installation shot : vinyl mural print overhung with framed pigment prints for SF Camerawork’s Begin Anywhere exhibition. Inspired by the story of a young immigrant couple that lived in Helena, MT during the Panic of 1893, I retraced their migration path to Ogden, UT to evoke lasting social and humanitarian costs of Manifest Destiny policies. #McNairEvans_Sparkstone #McNairEvans #McNair #sfcamerawork #BegingAnywhere (at SF Camerawork) https://www.instagram.com/p/ByYI6Q2g-LS/?igshid=1265bl63glrc3

and if my chute don't open wide I have another one by my side and if that chute don't open round I'll be the first one on the ground - military cadence Mr. Lee Jackson pulled me aside and started singing this to me the first time we met after he asked if i could take his photo and i said sure only if I could print him a copy. Mr. Lee Jacksons served in the Vietnam war and sometimes goes by the nickname warlord 📷 @felixjr1 Tag your photo #EDBAFocalPoints to have your photo considered for the EDBA wall at @catchlight.io Focal Points exhibit at @sfcamerawork Our team will select images from the tag to print and add to the wall during the two months of the exhibit. If you’re in the area, come in to print and put the photo on the wall yourself. Dates to be announced! (at San Francisco, California)
