warrior cats au whatwulf yayyyyy
@rubydubsnuby gave me permission to do WC designs for my SF ocs based on their AU(the allan cat design is theirs so is the concepts for the au) so i did yay (i have gristle thought out too but for now. heres ww)
basically whatwulf (in universe name is Sharkbait ) is one of those really unhealthy exotic pets tiktok users insist on having (hes a lynx/bobcat mix which. Shouldnt even happen.)
mans absolutely fed up with the videos he is made to be in daily which includes scaring him on Purpose which is why even though he doesnt actually care abt the clan drama he joins the sf group anyways.
him and allans owners r neighbors which is how they know each other + how ww found out abt the group.

Kinda sucks that Tumblr ate the queried asks and this is likely to occur for the next few days after your ask game.
Wish Carefully AU, the only person holding back Shinso was Shinso himself, especially since this was before his canon character development post Sports Festival.
Though here a good question, while I don't remember what the canonical reason why canon Aizawa would want to train Shinso, do we have a canonical reason other than the fact that Shinso did apply for the Hero Course and that he reached the third round(and that he had a really good Quirk)? Would the Wish Carefully Aizawa even consider training this Quirkless version of Shinso who didn't even try hard enough to pass the first round of the SF? WC Shinso likely applied for the Hero Course but he didn't do anything noteworthy and Aizawa likely assumed that Shinso was one of those students that UA has in the other courses who apply for the Hero Course but never really did anything noteworthy at the Sports Festival(like how canon Shinso did it).
Since we have 42 students with all Hero Course students and Mei and it's declared that Shinso's lack of conviction will prevent him from succeeding in the first round, is it generally accepted that Togeike(or any other student) will replace Shinso for these rounds as the one that Aizawa will train up as she actually tried(if not then Aizawa is doing his job for real for 1-A)?
Heck, even this version of Shinso would likely be more pathetic as from UA's and everyone else's POV, he just a Quirkless student who just happens to be smart enough to know the school material(not counting the fact that Shinso likely wouldn't know the circularium for later on in the year). I would presume that in canon, Shinso had to maintain good grades on top of training with Aizawa in order to be allowed to transfer to the Hero Course but would this version Shinso maintain those same standards?
Now that I know it'll do that I can simply avoid queuing thing when Tumblr tries its shit but it sucks that a lot of asks were lost.
When Shinsou learns that he had a chance for One For All and that he blew it--and that, in his place, Midoriya wouldn't have and didn't--he's gonna be real upset
We weren't ever given a reason for Aizawa training Shinsou, which is in fact one of the main sources of ammunition for people who aren't fond of Aizawa's teaching since he doesn't do this for his actual students, but I digress. I doubt that Aizawa even knows who Shinsou is in this AU; they have so many applicants that he wouldn't stand out without doing something noteworthy. Which he didn't. Also Aizawa probably wouldn't approve of a Quirkless Hero Student anyway
Someone did ask about Togeike and I said yes but alas... the Asks were eaten... I need to use her more, for one thing, and it's also interesting for someone else to get Shinsou's opportunity.
Shinsou's grades are never a problem, not even in the original timeline, but that's not as relevant here as his performance elsewhere

Phanfiction Bingo Round One Masterpost
unfortunately i did not write as much as i wanted to this round but alas here is what i did manage to write:
@phanfictionbingo
rainy days at the library wc: 1,770 r: general sf: bookworm!dan s: Even on rainy days Dan winds up at the library, but it's not so bad when his company is the cute librarian.
just another stupid holiday wc: 2,362 r: general sf: valentine's day s: Dan hates Valentine's Day. He thinks it's a stupid holiday and wants nothing to do with it. When his co-worker Cat mentions some guy named Phil who happens to be single, who Dan eventually meets when he comes into his coffee shop, Dan thinks maybe this Valentine's Day might be different.
airport meetings wc: 854 r: teen and up sf: strangers meeting for the first time s: Dan is having a bad start to his morning, and you would think a stranger crashing into him, literally, would make things worse, but actually, it makes Dan's morning somewhat better when Dan sees how attractive the man is.
keep the glasses on wc: 1,046 r: general sf: fluff s: Dan has always been insecure about wearing his glasses in public, and he's kept it from his best friend for as long as he's had his glasses. Unfortunately one evening, his cover is blown when Phil stops by.
skip all the small talk wc: 1,812 r: teen and up sf: trapped together s: AU in which Dan and Phil have hated each other for years, but when Dan takes a break and comes back to return to Vidcon, the two get stuck in an elevator together, and Dan learns that maybe he doesn't hate Phil Lester like he thought he did while trapped with him.

Slenderverse as Warriors?
Tumblr media
I can only manage one sloppy thing while i have an IV in my hand haha but I'll try more once i get outta here!
This is Stan as a Warrior, Stonefleck. I based him off a black silver ticked abyssynian (I have a specific picture if anyone wants to see the color ref) and im inclined to say he's from WindClan! Also he's missing a toe.
He wants to help other Clan members  and even rogues/kittypets with their issues, even considering becoming a medicine cat at one point.

Did some edits on my Gnarly, Grim and Gristle WC au designs (Based on @rubydubsnuby 's SF WC au that I am Obsessed w!! Its fun making my own versions inspired by it teehee. )
biggest change is i was thinking abt WC fan designs and realized oh Grim would totally have something like a marking that looks like a broken heart.
Gristle is a chihuahua mutt, but they love him anyways. Grim is a former kittypet while Gnarly used to be in a clan, and Gristle has lived around the same area of the cat clans for a long time(He just leaves them alone and eats their scraps until he found Grim and Gnarly, but he knows enough abt cat culture to work better w cats than he does other dogs) and that is my explanation as to why he gets to be a dog

New from Every Movie Has a Lesson by Don Shanahan: FEATURE: Final 2020 Awards Tracker
FINAL 2020 AWARDS TRACKER
Tumblr media
Welcome to the ninth year of Every Movie Has a Lesson’s “Awards Tracker.”  My goal every year is simple: Help each and every one of you win your Oscar pools. As a member of three recognized awards-voting bodies of film critics (OFCS, OFTA, and Chicago Indie Critics), it’s a pleasure and honor to see my own picks made it into the award season discussion. Here’s how this little page of my personal interest works.  I find value in tracking the trends and following the tea leaves of the all the minor lead-up awards before the Oscars.  I chart the winners of each category with listed winners and comments on the surrounding buzz.
FINAL TAKE: Prediction-wise, I was a so-so 16 of 24. Not great, but not bad. I’ll take being wrong to watch a night of history honoring women and international film!
BEST MOTION PICTURE
FINAL TAKE:  Folks, in another year of #OscarsSoWhite and questionable gender appreciation, the 92nd Academy Awards dropped (or was it raised, LOL) a microphone of history in favor of diversity. Say it out loud. Parasite is first foreign language film to win Best Picture. Boom! What a boom!
WINNERS:

BEST ACTOR IN A LEADING ROLE
FINAL TAKE:  This may have been Adam Driver’s year and arguably his decade, but this made for a platform win for Joaquin. Moved and motivated, his late awards season surge culminated all the way to the biggest stage and microphone.
WINNERS:
29- Adam Driver for Marriage Story (GI, ATL, SEA, KC, PCC, SD, CIC, NC, FCC, IN, NV, Chicago, CO, DC, DFW, DET, FL, GW, HOU, PHI, SE, UT, VAN, DUB, EDA, GA, WC, Online, OFTA)

WINNERS:
26- Lupita Nyong’o for Us (NY, NYO, SEA, OK, KC, PCC, SD, CIC, NC, FCC, IN, BF, Chicago, AA, BO, CO, DC, PHI, AUS, EDA, GA, WC, SF, Online, HC, OFTA)

BEST ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE
FINAL TAKE:  The show led off with lasting popular history. Pitt was the acting lock of the night and the moment did him right. Bravo!
WINNERS:
29- Brad Pitt for Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood (ATL, NBR, OK, STL, Boston, Globe, CIC, BF, Chicago, BO, DC, DFW, HOU, NSFC, PHI, SE, VAN, AUS, CC, DEN, EDA, SAG, SF, PHX, Online, IA, OFTA, HI, BAFTA, NM)

BEST ACTRESS IN A SUPPORTING ROLE
FINAL TAKE:  As of this award, the acting prizes went pretty chalk with odds and trends. Laura Dern prevents a Marriage Story shut-out.
WINNERS:

BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY
FINAL TAKE:  Bong Hive! I was in the #AnyoneButQuentin camp of one, but this category didn’t become about preferences. This was a win for international cinema. It’s extremely rare for the scene to have attention, let alone victory, in these top categories.
