La faillite de la Métro ou Christophe Ferrari et le “complexe du Prince de Galles” : Grenoble est la seule métropole où son intercommunalité est devenue répulsive à ce point. La question n’est plus désormais de réformer la Métro mais de réinventer une intercommunalité nouvelle. Pourquoi cette faillite ? Comme souvent, pour de nombreux facteurs mais l’un d’entre eux occupe une place particulière : l’échec de la présidence de Christophe Ferrari marqué par “le complexe du Prince de Galles”. Le “complexe du Prince de Galles” c’est quoi ? c’est rêver d’un après-règne mais sans jamais parvenir à l’obtenir. Pour cette génération, le rêve venait de loin. Localement, Couëtoux puis Blonde traitaient Christophe Ferrari avec mépris sur Pont de Claix. Et au-delà de cette Commune, dans l’agglomération grenobloise, les Vallini, Migaud, Destot occupaient à gauche tous les espaces politiques ou médiatiques. En 2010 déjà, Christophe Ferrari avait tenté sa chance mais en vain. Une initiative balayée d’un coup de vent un samedi matin le temps d’un bref retour à Seyssins de Didier Migaud après sa nomination surprise à la Cour des Comptes par ... Nicolas Sarkozy. En 2014, avec la défaite du PS sur Grenoble réjouissant Ferrari au point de pas parvenir à dissimuler sa joie dans les couloirs de la Préfecture de l’Isère le soir des résultats, plus encore en 2015 avec la défaite de Vallini au département (défaite à laquelle Christophe Ferrari a pris un soin particulier à contribuer dans l’agglomération grenobloise), l’espace se libérait enfin pour lui. Hélas, il n’est jamais parvenu à l’occuper positivement. Hier, Christophe Ferrari, déclaré
 “rocardien”, était perçu comme sympa, proche, accessible. Aujourd’hui, même sur Pont de Claix, ces qualités semblent évaporées. Il lui est reproché d’être distant, cassant, lointain. Le symbole de la berline de luxe est aussi passé par là pour casser l’image d’hier.
 Au-delà de Christophe Ferrari, c’est toute une génération qui a perdu sa chance tout particulièrement en s’associant à une gestion de la Métro totalement tenue par les élus grenoblois. A la Métro, la gauche n’a pas su résister aux Verts. Et la droite n’a pas su résister à la gauche. D’où cet unanimisme répulsif où chacun a perdu ses repères légitimes. Et l’espace ouvert pour des anti-systèmes dont il faudra bien clarifier la réalité des contenus car, là aussi, il semblerait que de la parole aux actes le divorce puisse être rapidement profond à constater des photos bras dessus bras dessous sur les réseaux sociaux avec les tenants du système sortant ... Et si le “complexe du Prince de Galles” frappait bien au-delà de Christophe Ferrari ... ?
