With a 16-year history behind them, Sex Messiah have long since established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the Japanese extreme metal underground. But in terms of sound and line-up, today's Sex Messiah bear less and less resemblance to the band that emerged in 2008. This is the first full-length album that Sex Messiah have released with this line-up, and it is undoubtedly their best work to date. Their most obvious influences come from the South American black/death scene of the 1980s and 90s, particularly the Brazilian bands.
