For the book, once I had the colour palette I wanted I then collected together all my trims and notions that worked in the palette. If I couldn’t find what I wanted I dyed, painted and sprayed fabrics buttons and studs. Then took it one step further and sprayed the handles of these scissors too! Those sewing items were purchased at some point before my Grandma died in 1980; I think her last sewing purchases may have been in 1976.
