need a fic where severus has a little sister and james or sirius end up falling for her but she resents them for everything they did to severus so they stop bullying snape to try and win her forgiveness for their bad behavior but then they end up actually liking snape and they start working on getting his forgiveness not for his sister but for him and that's when she falls for them. But she doesn't do anything about her feelings until Severus forgives them because she wants to know that they won't every hurt her brother again and if he trusts them then she'll trust them too. Anyways yeah the angst would be so perfect and like ugh. And Sev's sister being his best friend and the one person who never left his side. Like her love for him is so unconditional and she would literally do anything for him and he would do the same for her. She would be his safe haven. And also bonus points if the sister is plus size because that would make for even more angst bc she would think they were pranking her when they said they liked her like how they pranked Sev. LIKE JUST IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES!!

So, I was reading Tumblr posts, and I came across many analyzes and arguments in defense of Severus Snape; arguments between those who support James, or the rest of the marauders, and those who defend Snape...

And I just laughed alone because the arguments of those who try to justify the actions of the marauders are so insipid and ineloquent, while those who support Snape expand and practically write a bible in defense of the man, with solid foundations in their arguments, demonstrating how much they know about the subject and what good people they are.

It's like Severus practically has an army of intellectual warriors and cool people who fight with his words and defend him to the death... It's just excellent.

I just wanted to say that. I adore you. I love my community <3

One thing that never fails to shock me is how many Marauder stans I’ve seen hating on Draco for saying this line to Hermione in GoF:

“Granger, they’re after Muggles,” said Malfoy. “D’you want to be showing off your knickers in midair? Because if you do, hang around . . . they’re moving this way, and it would give us all a laugh.”

Yet somehow they can’t apply that same logic to what happened in SWM:

James whirled about; a second flash of light later, Snape was hanging upside down in the air, his robes falling over his head to reveal skinny, pallid legs and a pair of graying underpants.

Many people in the small crowd watching cheered. Sirius, James, and Wormtail roared with laughter.

I’ve seen Marauder stans who bash Draco and call him horrible for “making a SA joke,” but then go ahead and defend what the Marauders did (which was ACTUAL SA, not just a gross joke) in SWM as if that’s not much worse. The irony is ridiculous.

That’s always confused me because… they can clearly see the harm in a character making a SA joke, but they gloss over or even justify their favourites characters actually doing what said character joked about??? Make it make sense.

Things a random person is trying to claim canon on Snape and the Marauders over one of my videos since I can't fall asleep cus of sickness + they are EXTREMELY stupid for a 17yo:

Severus tried to kiss Lily by force. (???)

The worst memory happened because of he wouldn't leave Lily alone (??? He didn't even talk with her before it started and they were BEST FRIENDS)

James was "provoked" and did it to "protect his girlfriend from the enemy" (the "gf" in question which hated him and refused to date him till their 7th year, and the enemy being her best friend)

Severus physically hit children (only happened in the movies where his character was cut by more then half ☠)

Physically abused Harry for 7 years (girl do you know how to read?)

He was a stalker (??? Mixing him much with the marauders who literally had a map that showed who is where and when? 🤨)

Severus called lily a slvt (what even???l

She said Severus trying to apologize for using the word 'mudblood' is "guilt tripping" (you would've cried over him not apologizing, right? ☠)

Came to attack me for shipping Snupin as if that had anything to do with the convo lol (didn't have anything smart to say ig)

Continued it by saying that Remus was a marauder and that they all hated Snape - also untrue regardless, he was the only one to call him be his name and to feel bad for him, also the only one to not laugh at him at the worst memory.

They said they're 17 yet they're fighting me like a 12 yo ☠

It continues to shock me how much the Snaters really don't know the canon.

First, Lily never rejected Severus the two of them have been best friends for years. The one pestering Lily to go out with him was James.

Second, the scene where Snape goes to Godric's Hollow doesn't exist in the book, it's just an addition in the movie to make everything more dramatic. (If we want to consider movie scenes canon then most of the accusations made don't exist since they don't happen. These people are really too confused) And then what? Or if we take the scene from the film at face value, Snape hugs the woman he loves instead of helping Harry, so what? This poor man was destroyed, can we leave him alone for two seconds to cry?
