Hiring Modern Carpet Cleaning Services
There are various methods applied by modern carpet cleaners for cleaning the carpets. Generally, methods for cleaning the carpet varies between carpet to carpet. There are a wide variety of carpet designs available in the market some come with the printed texture and some with colorful designs. Woollen and silk made carpets can easily fall under the category of premium carpet segment. In the category of cheaper carpet design, polymer-based carpets are most widely used. A polymer is the cheapest material and can be reproduced artificially. It doesn’t demand heavy maintenance as compared to that of other hand woven or natural textile-based carpets.
Carpet cleaner finds some difficulty in cleaning natural fabric or woolen carpets. According to them such type of carpet demand heavy attention from their side. For removing stain out from woolen carpets, carpet cleaner mainly prefers to use acid solution. Regarding acid, citric acid in dilute form is used, according to experts, strong acid solutions like HCL, or sodium chloride can sometimes provide damage to the carpet material. Anyone can analyze the defect by observing yellowish color stain on the carpets. For artificial or polymer textile-based carpets chemical with basic property is highly recommendable. Those who can afford premium carpet can also easily afford premium services regarding its maintenance.
Nowadays carpets are also widely accepted by the auto sector. small sized carpets are used on the behalf of the plastic made mats. For cleaning such types of carpets people generally carry a small portable vacuum cleaner with themselves which can get power supply from the source of the car battery. A vacuum cleaner has now become the standard cleaning equipment. It is not only used for simple floor cleaning but also for sucking dust out from carpet piles. A vacuum cleaner is a very great invention and from time to time modification and up-gradation it becomes better day by day.

Josh Alcombright is the head coach of Severna Park in Maryland, a multi-time NXN qualifier out of the Southeastern region.
High School Harrier: Severna Park is coming off a 4th place finish for the boys last year at NXR Southeast. How did that match up to your expectations for the season?
Josh Alcombright: All things considered it was about where we felt we would fit into the mix with what we toed the line with. We thought if everything went our way and we had a great day we could have possibly been on a plane, but I am so proud of the 2018 chapter of SPXC and know that many of those guys will be a part of my life for a long time.
HSH: Should your squad finish 3rd or 4th again this year, what argument would you give to the selection committee for why the SE should send more than 2 teams?
JA: That's a tough one because the SE isn't traditionally seen as a deep region but I feel like there are lots of teams and coaches that are determined to shift that mindset. As I always tell my teams though, we can only control what we do and if that is good enough for NXN consideration I would trust that the committee will look at our full body of work just as they do others.
HSH: Your squad qualified for NXN two years in a row back in 13-14. What was special about those teams?
JA: Every team you coach leaves an impression on you for years to come but the '13 and '14 squad were 2 very different and unique squads (only 2 runners from the '13 team were left after graduation). '13 had an elite talent in Ryan Forsyth backed up by the deepest 2-6 in program history. The '14 team was made up of several guys who made huge leaps from the previous year and just put together a tremendous season. The qualities that both those teams showed (and many others have as well) is the bond they shared in and out of practice. Those guys really ran for each other and were completely selfless when it came to the team. We have a saying within our program..."Do it for the other 6" and when you can get a group of boys (and girls) that can really go "all in" on that concept, you're gonna do some special things.
HSH: Do your teams take post-season races in account when planning the season or is it looked at as a bonus?
JA: Our main focus with the boys and girls (3rd year with them) each season is competing for a State championship first and foremost. Competing at NXR and NXN has certainly elevated our program and is something the boys team has become accustomed to since our first trip back in 2012 and has started to gain major traction with our girls squad since our coaching staff started working with them. So it is something that we always have on our schedule but we try not to think or talk about it much in the early stages of the season. Yet our resident "Stats department" (my assistant, and good friend, Justin Marvel) gains some momentum as the season goes if it looks like we have a shot at getting on a plane.
HSH: How does your team approach goal setting?
JA: I personally believe that vocalizing goals is important within your running, and in life, and I share that with them. We talk about it informally as a whole team and have done some team-wide stuff in the past, but I like to give the kids the freedom to develop them on their own. However formal or informal that looks is different for each kid and I don't try to "force" it.
HSH: Compared to last year, where do you see your program this fall?
JA: We are REALLY excited about the improvement the girls team has shown in the past 9 months and are a significantly stronger team this year in our eyes. But there are some really good teams in Maryland that are certainly talented and hungry enough to make our bid at back-to-back titles very challenging. The boys are a very young, talented and deep team that is working hard to earn another 3-peat and to see how far they can go the next few years.
HSH: Do you have any athletes you believe are ready to have a breakout season?
JA: Like I said above, many of the girls had really strong track seasons and are looking to take that next step in their journey. On the boys side we have talent and some big potential at each grade level so that is going to be exciting to see how that all plays out.
HSH: What is your philosophical approach to coaching that shapes how you run your program?
JA: We believe that everyone on the team is vital to our success. It's not the top talent that makes our program strong, it's the kids in the "trenches" that are pushing forward and keeping those in front of them constantly on their toes. Everyone needs to be ready when their times comes to be the "next man up" and we are constantly preaching that each and every day. Patience is a word we use a lot when it comes to developing talent over the long haul, which I think has allowed us to be competitive year in and year out.
HSH: What is a sample week of training for your program during the cross country season?
JA: Mondays is our long run day. Depending on the week Tues/Wed will be either a recovery/maintenance day or a workout. We generally do a secondary tempo type workout on Thursdays during the key parts of our season. Friday is a pre-meet day.
HSH: What type of mileage does your average top 7 runner do during their base phase?
JA: As with most programs training age runs the show. With our experienced athletes (3rd and 4th year kids) the boys average about 60 mpw. Since we have only been with the girls program the last 3 years we are working up towards our ceiling. Right now the ones that have been with us all 3 years are averaging low to mid 40's.
HSH: Do you have a staple workout you like to do with your program?
JA: Our Monday Long run is definitely a staple for us. We usually do that as a 3/1 or progression run. Other than that we like to do our repeats/intervals on cycles with the amount of rest determined by the stage of the season. And we have annual workouts at various locations that we do each year that helps the kids and the coaches kind of "see" where each team is at in their development.
HSH: What type of ancillary training does your team do?
JA: We do lots of core, circuits and mobility stuff. Have really been liking the MYRTL routine from Coach Jay Johnson the last few years.
HSH: What do you think is the most important aspect of your training program?
JA: Consistently increasing an athlete's volume from year to year. It doesn't matter how fast a freshman is coming into our program they won't come close to doing what the kids that have been on the team 3 and 4 years do. But probably the #1 factor in any teams success if summer training. Championship aren't won in November/December...
HSH: What is one habit of your athletes that you wish you could change?
JA: Sleep and nutrition
HSH: If you could improve one area of your training program what would it be?
JA: I would really like to be able to isolate the large number of kids that we have in our program during our core work to ensure that they are all executing the exercises exactly as intended. It can be difficult to supervise over 120 kids individually when doing strength work. Our coaching staff is always looking at better and more efficient ways to run practices with our numbers.

Walk In Tub vs. Walk In Shower
Madrid's Contracting
Call 443.808.5100
Visit our website: madridscontracting.com
THE PROS AND CONS OF A WALK-IN TUB
Unlike your standard bathtub, the walk-in tub has higher walls, a lower threshold, a built-in seat, and a door that opens outwardly to allow you to walk right in.
To help you decide if a walk-in bathtub is best for you and your family, here are the pros and cons:
Pros of a Walk-In Tub
Contains handrails, a seat, anti-scald valves, and non-slip flooring
Reduces the amount of time and construction needed to add features
Safer and more convenient for the elderly or disabled individuals
Can withstand the amount of water a traditional tub can
Provides great bath depth for a more relaxing bath experience
Contains hydrotherapy jets that offer massage to relax muscles
Cons of a Walk-In Tub
Cannot pre-fill the tub before getting in
Must empty the water before getting out
It takes time to adjust the temperature of the water
Could potentially flood your bathroom if not properly closed or if a seal fails

ProTip Takeaway: Choosing which option is best for your home comes down to knowing the pros and cons of each.
The Pros and Cons of a Walk In Shower
Walk-in showers can sometimes include a seat, but most don't. They are also narrower than your standard shower-tub combination but provide more space-saving features.
Walk-in showers are in trend, and with that in mind, here are the pros and cons to help you decide what is best for you:
Pros of a Walk-In Shower
Takes up less space, freeing up square footage
Easy to use since it's at the same level as the floor
Accessible for the elderly since safety bars can be installed
Easier to clean, fewer areas where dirt, water, and grime can collect
Big enough for two individuals
Includes amenities such as steam generators, massaging showerheads, and a large rainfall showerhead
It can easily be installed with a shower remodel.
Cons of a Walk-In Shower
Not practical for kids
Potential slip hazard
Hot air is free to circulate into the bathroom
Creates humidity
ProTip Takeaway: A walk-in shower is ideal for aging adults and others with physical limitations.
What Do You Have Now?
If you already have a shower in your home, sticking to this layout will save you the extra work and cost involved in creating a walk-in bathtub.
However, if you love to bathe in the tub or require soaking for therapeutic purposes, then a walk-in tub can be installed with a well-planned bathroom remodel.
ProTip Takeaway: If you have a walk-in shower, adding a walk-in bathtub may be unnecessary.
How Much Space Do You Have?
If your bathroom is too small, a walk-in shower would be best to open space in your bathroom. A bathtub would take up much more room and cut down on usable areas for other activities in smaller bathrooms.
ProTip Takeaway: If you have a walk-in shower, adding a walk-in bathtub may be unnecessary
Who Uses the Bathroom?
Whether it's a master bathroom or a guest bathroom, consider who will use it more.
Do you have kids or elderly family members? Would they be more comfortable in a walk-in shower or a walk-in bathtub?
Asking these questions will help guide you toward the best walk-in bathing option for your home.
