𝐄𝐍𝐕𝐘 𝐂𝐀𝐍'𝐓 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘𝐒 he had wasted on dilly-dallying with vampires, quite literally covering his entire house in ashes instead of blood; it's tiresome. quite vexing, even. those little f*ckers are just like cockroaches & if he didn't happen to ' borrow ' one of the fancy swords earlier, he sincerely doubts he could even harm them to begin with. still, he was doing fine.... until tonight. the beautiful man dressed in white wasn't at all like the others, & envy learned that quickly enough as he was instantly spotted within the dark, completely seen-through his typically silent presence. envy can't help but to smirk at that, bemused, only to slowly circle around the man standing right in the middle of his very own living-room; " it seems as though my old house is more popular with the dead.... than it ever was with the living.... " // ( for the lil sh*t ferid bathory. )
Fingers pressed against his temple in mild irritation. It was an attempt to suppress a headache he felt coming on. Hopefully it would not come, because it was something he did not need right now.
Strange reports have been coming and despite it normally being delegated to the lesser vampires, but someone decided it was of the ought most importance to give this to him. Why not give it to Crowley? He sure his fellow progenitor would have with this not.
At least in the beginning that is what he thought when he started his investigation. Disappearing in and out of sight of others and especially humans. Though, he did have a little fun in trolling them so to speak. Regardless he did resume with his mundane mission. Well that was until now.
Tumblr media
'It would be my luck that would bring about this unfortunate this event. Wouldn't it?' what he wouldn't give for a Bloody Mary right of the O postive side, but let digress.
Watching as the strange (maybe) human (he wasn't sure) circle around him like prey caused a brow to arch. "Oh really? Do tell me more strange one. I merely came here out of curiosity and sheer boredom since nothing seems to entertain me now a days." Ferid drawled as he now examined his nails.

❛ Oh, what this~? ❜ Ferid thought seeing the oddest sight to ever cross his eyes. ❛ Black hair with tuffs of green? Doesn't seem to be dyed, perhaps natural? Fascinating~. Those ears... Hmm... Are they real, are they not? ❜ interest piqued the vampire moved.
Down the building he lept landing near softly on the ground below. He fleeted closing the distance between himself and what he presumed to be a fox person or something. Didn't seem quite doggish enough to him.
Tumblr media
❝ My my my, who do we have here~? ❞ suddenly Ferid was perhaps to close for comfort. ❝ Don't believe I've seen someone quite like you before. ❞
@deciessomnia
Long fox ears perk up as the Forest Watcher didn't recognize his surroundings as nothing was familiar to him, what exactly was this place?
Tumblr media
He sniffed at the air before dusting his clothes off, setting out to explore this strange new world as he must remind alert.
Who knows who or what might be lurking nearby.

❝I love you...❞
Ferid Bathory being the seventh Progenitor didn’t really have time for his lover, aka, you. He was always busy with stuff such as paperwork, battles, drinking blood etc.
It was a beautiful rainy night. The rain droplets softly hit the window of the room Ferid and you shared. You were reading a book trying not to think of your lover too much knowing that he'll come home safe and sound.
The door knob turned as your lover walked in reeking of blood as his clothes were covered in it.
"Darling,it's 2 am, why are you still awake?"
He asked you sweetly and his voice had a trace of care for you in it. He was never really like this with anyone, he was always the flirtatious and devious Ferid who always had a grin on his face.
"I was getting worried and I stayed up for you"
You answered as you closed the book marking the page you were on by folding the edge of the page. You got up from the soft sheets which were really expensive and walked towards Ferid.
Ferids eyes softened as he heard your answer and saw you walk towards him.
"Oh darling, don't worry about me I'm fi—"
He was cut off as you touched his bleeding chest.
"What happened Ferid.. Why aren’t you healed yet?"
You say concerned as you look into his blood red eyes.
"Oh it's nothing, just got injured in a battle and I didn’t drink blood today so that's why I wasn’t able to heal, nothing to worry about, I'll be fine"
He says in a playful tone. You sigh at his words and pull on your nightgown revealing the skin of your neck.
"W-what are you doing? I'm not going to drink blood from you if that's what you're trying to do"
He said in a flat tone although he was tempted to drink your sweet blood.
"Just do it, I'm already tired, don't make me talk too much"
He looked at you in utter shock and tried to protest. But alas, he couldn’t resist.
He looked at you with soft sad eyes as if he was saying sorry for the pain he was going to give you now.
He held your shoulder on both sides and moved closer to your neck, he hesitated but he took a bite.
You felt immense pain as he bit and winced a bit, but you were happy that he didn’t argue much and took a bite.
Blood trickled down your neck as he was drinking. The blood felt warm, irony and sweet in his mouth. Oh how he loves your blood.
He pulled back after a bit and looked at you.
Your body was weak and you were leaning on him.
"Ferid.."
Was the last thing you said before drifting off in his arms
He held on to you tightly and picked you up. He carried you to the bed and tucked you in.
That's when he realized just exactly how much he felt for you.
"I love you s/o"
Was softly whispered into your ears.
Thank you all for reading!! <333

"Ferid Bathory, Progenitor of the Seventh Rank. Though I doubt a mere human can appreciate the importance of that title."
This lovely Ferid commissioned art was done by @/im_serji_ (on twt)! I've always loved the image of a classy-looking vampire drinking blood from a wine glass 😌

A helping hand
Synopsis: When scouting out territories to plan their coup against the humans, the vampires encounter a rather inconvenient hill side.
(Muse A rests one hand on muse B’s back and holds out the other for muse B to hold to help them climb up/down something.)
Pairing: Ferid Bathory & Krul Tepes (Ferikrul) (Can be read either platonic or romantic)
————————
“We will set position down that hill.”
“Yes, Queen Krul.”
Having arrived just in time to see the sun go down, Krul peered out from behind the tree along with a handful of soldiers she had brought with her from Sanguinem.
One of said soldiers was the bothersome Seventh progenitor, Ferid Bathory. The loss of light in a couple of minutes was none of her concern, if anything, it’d be better if they set up everything when the humans were most likely asleep.
Her kind allowed them to stay awake for eternity, not because they want to, but because they don’t require the necessity to sleep anymore ever since they gave up their humanities to become a blood-thirsty monster — but ultimately, a species stronger than humans.
When seeing her conflicted expression at the edge of the hill, Ferid walked over to her. “Allow me, Krul.” He dramatically bowed at her feet, offering himself to go down the hill first, checking to see if there was any danger waiting for them at the bottom.
Not that, it’d be any problem to vampires, again, but there was something amusing to pretending to be worried of such a foolish human scenario. Ferid particularly enjoyed that.
“You may go. But don’t try anything funny.” She permitted herself to give him approval, but in a tone so serious that Ferid knew she didn’t trust him on keeping that promise — and of course, he wouldn’t!
He’s Ferid flipping Bathory!
Ferid instantly retorted with lovingly mocking eyes. “And why would I do that?~” he challenged in a sing-song tone. “I’d never try anything under your watch, Krul.”
Watching the Queen roll her eyes at his remark, his lips part on their own to laugh. He figures that he should get on with what he was assigned to do as standing there for much longer would get him grilled and cut in pieces for serving.
He walked over the edge of the hill and immediately spotted a pile of rocks sticking out. He could use them to get down.
He didn’t play careful at all, not with an audience around. He’d do anything to catch a reaction from Krul, whether it was a flinch when he almost slipped or a shout of his name when he almost lets go of the rocks.
Ah, but he dreams too much, Krul would never do the latter. But, that’s what made everything with her so fun sometimes. Intentionally losing his step and complaining: “Oh whoopsies, I think I almost slipped…” He was baffled to see that his drama wasn’t working at all; Krul was not reacting to him, and Ferid hated being ignored.
He tried and tried again to cause a scene; yelling out in mockingly pain when his nails intentionally crushed the rock when he grabbed on, or when he felt the strength in his bones leave his arms.
But by the time he was down the hill, Ferid didn’t receive the merest of congratulations from his Queen. No “Thank you’s” or “Thank you for going first, Ferid.”
Of course she’d never say that to him, of course that vile greedy woman would never.
“A fine position to plan our coup.” Ferid observed with a satisfied nod. He then immediately looked back up to face the top of the hill where the tiny Vampire Queen and the rest of the soldiers stood.
At her height, those gigantic rocks will sure cause a problem to her getting down — but oh, who was he kidding?
He was perfectly aware that the Queen could get down on her own, but irritating her with a remark here and there was one of his favourite pastimes in this prolonged lifetime. “Oh, does her majesty perhaps need help getting down?”
Abruptly stopping mid-step and thus clinging her nails onto the rocks, Krul jerked her head back and hissed at the man for what he proposed.
“Quiet. I can do it myself.” She snapped back before attempting to climb back down the rocks, definitely slower than he had.
He obviously didn’t buy it one single bit, because his next move was to do something that would deeply frustrate her.
“Clearly not! Here, let me help you~!”
The silver-haired progenitor gleefully walked over to his Queen, and placed a gloved hand on her back.
He could feel the small vampiress tense at his touch, and Ferid couldn’t hold back a smirk.
The fact that his hand was on her back was making her — a third progenitor — on edge.
What an accomplishment that was!
“Don’t touch me.”
Within a few seconds of Ferid placing his hand behind her back, Krul shot him scowl. But Ferid was unphased by such a look, if anything, it threw him in an adrenaline haze.
He loved to cause trouble, anything to feel close to any form of emotion that wasn’t safety. That’s why he loved tampering with the authority heads so much, his particular favourites being the Queen of Japan and King of Germany.
He let go of her back and stepped away from her a little, waiting for her next command.
But, he’d never give her up, so easily!
“If you’d like, I can keep my hand on your—“
He didn’t get to finish, for he felt a surge of pain lodging his left arm. When the vampire glanced down to have a look as to what caused the sudden pain, he let out an “Ah” of acknowledgement when he spotted no hand there. Instead, there was an overflow of blood.
The Queen was happily walking away from him now, leaving his dismembered hand that she cut off, in the grass.
“Ahaha.” Ferid let out a purr of laughter, leaning down to pick up his hand. “You mustn’t be so serious all the time, my Queen!“
He could’ve sworn that for a split second he saw an unamused glare appear on the little vampire’s face before she turned around and began walking out further into their ruined world, she didn’t know that after this day, she’d be outside more often.
But, not for the reasons she believes.

Adopt a Derg RP
@seventh-progenitor-ferid-bathory
Looking back fondly, she wonders how the cute small dragon that was no bigger than her one arm she adopted few years back is now this huge dragon that’s massively larger than the tallest building in her town and with a gluttonous appetite that can’t seem to be full for more than a day. It’s a good thing that the two live on the outskirts nearby a forest with abundance of resources or else, she wouldn’t know how to keep the ice dragon not hungry to start chasing after humans. That said, isn’t it time for the dragon to start self-wean himself from overly attaching himself to her and get out of the ‘nest’ so to speak?
“You’re an adult dragon right now! An ice dragon, one of the largest ones of your kind! You know you can’t live down here forever!” Krul barks as she gives some ‘tough love’ lecture to the large dragon looming before her. Anyone would probably faint if they were in her position right now but Krul raised him since he was a hatchling and his pseudo-mother of sorts, thus the effect is loss on her. She loves the dragon, yes, adores him even! But she knows for a fact that Ferid can’t exactly live here near human civilization too long before there is going to be wanted poster for a loose dragon wandering nearby and as if she’s going to let her darling dragon become pin cushion for fearful humans!
Krul stomps her foot on the ground in frustration, befitting of her small appearance yet not of her age. “You go up in those mountains this instance and stay up there for a week! It’s time you learn some self-efficiency on your own! How do you expect to go back to your own kind if you can’t even act like a proper dragon?!”

                                                     Transcript - Hyakuya Mikaela
Subject: Hyakuya Mikaela
Interrogators: Hiiragi Kureto, Hiiragi Shinya, Sanguu Aoi
Interrogation Date: November 24th, 2020
Location: Shinjuku Central Army Executive Room One
Topic: Vampire connections
                                                     ---
Summary:
The meeting covered Special Private Hyakuya’s history and relationship with the vampire Hyakuya Yuuichirou (rank unknown).
                                                     ---
VAMPIRE PRISONER #112: Die, human! [He attacks; Hyakuya kills him]
HIIRAGI KURETO: That was a test for traitors—to see if you can kill a vampire. You didn’t hesitate, so let’s talk.
              HYAKUYA MIKAELA: Yes, sir.
HK: You’ve met Shinya before, correct? Do you know who we are? [gestures to himself and Sanguu]
HM: Lieutenant General Hiiragi Kureto and Colonel Sanguu Aoi.
HK: You’re more informed than I expected for an underling of Guren’s. But perhaps I shouldn’t be surprised. It’s a spy’s job to gather information.
HM: My loyalty to the Japanese Imperial Demon Army is absolute.
HK: And whose army is that?
HM: [pause] The Hiiragi Clan’s.
HK: Good answer. What do you think, spy number two?
HIIRAGI SHINYA: Come now, nii-san. My acquaintance with Special Private Hyakuya is a shallow one.
HK: Ah, yes. You stopped by Guren’s place when he was training him.
HS: So scary. Getting along with Guren is bad for my health, it seems.
HK: What shall I do? I can’t trust the words of spies. Special Private Hyakuya.
HM: Yes?
HK: Show me what you can do. Kill Shinya.
HM: Yes, sir. [Special Private Hyakuya draws his sword and attempts to close the gap between him and his target. Major General Hiiragi summons Byakkomaru and shoots, using the opportunity to corner his assailant. Special Private Hyakuya was unable to counter.]
HS: Too bad. It’s not my style to pick on the weak, but…
HK: There’s no need. Order rescinded, Special Private Hyakuya.
HM: [gritting his teeth] Yes, sir.
HK: Tell me the truth. For four years, you’ve lived with Guren and done nothing but train and go on your assigned missions.
HM: Yes.
HK: He’s the one who saved your life and rescued you from the vampire city.
HM: I suppose he thought I’d be grateful.
HK: You suppose?
HM: I am loyal only to the Japanese Imperial Demon Army. He is my superior, so I follow his orders as required. If a higher-ranking officer contradicted his word, I would disobey Lieutenant Colonel Ichinose immediately.
HK: Guren seems to disagree. Else why would he bother saving you?
HM: He believes I am of use to him. However, I—
HS: We get it.
HK: Shut up. So, you have no loyalty to Guren. What about the vampires?
HM: My family was slaughtered by them. I would rather die than aid them in any way.
HK: Interesting. In your own report, you stated you fought a vampire named Hyakuya Yuuichirou.
HM: I said—I wrote that I fought a vampire with his face.
HK: Hyakuya…are you two survivors of the Hyakuya Sect?
HM: Not as such. We were simply guinea pigs in one of their orphanages. I have no memory of the specifics.
HK: So, you know that much; as expected of an exemplary spy. In any case, you’ve been passing information along to the vampire Hyakuya Yuuichirou these past four years.
HM: You’re wrong!
SANGUU AOI: Speak with more respect, Hyakuya.
HM: I…as I wrote in the report, I didn’t know he had been turned until seven days ago. I believed he had been killed by Seventh Progenitor Ferid Bathory along with the rest of my—fellow orphans.
HK: Interesting. You believe this noble is his sire?
HM: I suspect that is the case, but I can’t know for sure.
HK: You lived with him in the vampire city for four years. You still deny you knew?
HM: I believe my…shock is corroborated by my squad’s reports. And—you’ve misunderstood one thing, sir.
HK: And that is?
HM: The vampire Hyakuya Yuuichirou may be alive, but the person I knew is dead. It’s against regulations to live after one is transformed into a vampire. Hyakuya Yuuichirou may never have been a soldier, but he hated vampires more than anyone. There’s no way he would live on.
SA: In your report, you stated his eyes were red.
HM: Yes, ma’am.
SA: He tried to speak to you?
HM: The vampire explained who he was. I was stunned at first, but I soon attacked him.
HK: [amused] Oh, yes. If he stood before you now, could you kill him?
HM: Without hesitation.
HK: I’ve seen the truth of it now. You’re free to go.
HM: Yes, sir. [Hyakuya leaves]
HS: That wasn’t all there was to it, was it?
HK: Undoubtedly not. If I had to guess, the vampire refused him in some way. It’s clear he barely has the will to go on. No matter. It would be best if he lived for now; he could still prove useful to us.
SA: Understood, Kureto-sama.
HK: One more thing. Release the prisoners, Aoi. It seems their presence wasn’t required.
END OF INTERROGATION.

Soulmate AU (Ferid Bathory X Reader)
So this is a soulmate AU where streaks of your soulmates’ hair color start to appear in your hair and vice versa. Also, be warned. This is a quite long one shot with 1,642 words.
____________________________________________________________
You had been quite surprised to wake up one morning and find yourself with a streak of silver among your (H/C) hair. Of course you were been happy that you were finally getting clues about your soulmate, but there was just one problem. Just where were you going to start looking for that soulmate of yours? Silver hair was very uncommon and the only person you knew who had hair color similar to that was Shinya Hiragi. You pondered on that idea for a while, staring at the silver streak in your hair through the bathroom mirror. But you quickly brushed away that idea. After all, you had been on the same squad as him for years. If he really was your soulmate, you would have found out ages ago. You sighed heavily in frustration while running a hand through your hair.
“God… Why does it have to be so hard to find some so called soulmate?!” Frowning, you stared at the silver streak again. Despite your frustration at the situation, you had to admit that it actually looked good. Fashionable even.
Pursing your lips, you weighed your decision of styling your hair and being late to your squad’s meet-up and looking good while having the slim chances of running into your soulmate, or, getting to the meet-up on time and risking the chance of looking well…normal if you ran into your soulmate. Another heavy sigh escaped your lips as you reached for your comb and hardly used hairspray, “Well, might as well try a new style today. Those meet-ups always bore me to death anyways.”
·
Half an hour of painstakingly doing your hair to make it look amazing with the silver streak standing out and what do you get? A ten minute lecture from Guren, or more like shouting session, then an announcement that your squad was going out onto the battlefield today.
“I did not do my hair just so it could get ruined while I’m out fighting those bloodsuckers..!” You growled quietly under your breath in frustration as you sat in the squad car, heading straight for your hairs doom. Aka, the battlefield.
Sayuri patted your shoulder in sympathy, trying to cheer you up, “I’m sure that your soulmate will like you no matter how you look!”
Simply letting out a grunt to let her know you heard her, your gaze wandered over to the back of Shinya’s head. He was sitting in front of you and happily chatting Guren’s ear off. And for what seemed to be the hundredth time, your gaze was glued to his hair, desperately trying to find even a single strand of your own hair color. And for what seemed to be the hundredth time, you were disappointed when all you saw was a head full of white hair. Of course you had already ruled him out as your soulmate, but you just couldn’t help yourself when you saw the color of his hair.
·
Twenty minutes later, and you were still mourning over the coming doom of your amazing hairstyle. But this time you and the rest of your squad were actually standing in the middle of the battlefield, preparing yourselves against a large group of vampires. Really, nothing that Guren’s squad couldn’t take care of.
Unknown to the group, however, was a certain sassy vampire noble standing on the roof of a nearby building, observing everything that was going on down there.
“Oh? What’s this? A little human dressed up while on the battlefield?” Ferid let out a small hum of interest as he focused his gaze on you, a curious and amused expression on his face.
That was until he spotted the streak of silver that stood out in your (H/C) hair, his expression now morphing into one of shock and disbelief.  His hand fluttered up to his hair, lightly touching a spot where a streak of (Y/H/C) ran.
“I-Impossible…” For the first time in what was probably centuries, he had stuttered. But who could blame him? After all, he was a vampire noble and being him, he was expecting his soulmate to be around his level. Not some weak human that could easily get killed by him. Heck, he didn’t even know that vampires could have soulmates.
He had started seriously debating on killing you, now moving to the edge of the roof where he was getting ready to join the battlefield. He had spent years alone. What difference would it make now?
·
You were currently facing up against a surprisingly strong vampire, your arms trembling slightly under the strain of holding up your weapon to block a strike from the vampire. Gritting your teeth, you planted your feet firmly into the ground, refusing to get overpowered by some bloodsucker.
Unfortunately for you, the vampire had a trick up their sleeve; kicking you in the side of your legs and sweeping you off your feet. Landing on the ground with a pained grunt, your weapon flying out of your grip, you accepted your fate right there and then that you were going to die without ever meeting your soulmate. Closing your eyes, you waited for the final blow to finish you off.
Clang!
The sound of swords clashing caused you to open your eyes in confusion. The first thing you noticed was the gorgeous silver hair, styled into an elegant pony tail. The second thing you noticed was that the person with the silver hair was wearing vampire noble clothing. And the third, final thing you noticed? That noble vampire had just blocked the strike that was just about to end your life. You were frozen to the ground, staring up at the very unusual scene in front of you with wide eyes.
That silver hair… The shade matched perfectly with the silver streak in your hair. And that streak of your own (H/C) hair color among the vampire’s silver locks confirmed it. You had found your soulmate. While you were grateful that it didn’t take you years to find your soulmate like some people, you were certainly not grateful that your soulmate happened to be a vampire noble.
You were suddenly snapped out of your shocked stupor when the silver haired vampire raised a hand and sliced through the lower rank vampire as if they were made out of butter, the latter bursting into ash a few seconds later. Today must have been your bad hair day. First, your carefully styled hair had gotten ruined during the fight with the vampire. Then, some of the said vampire’s ashes had ended up floating into your hair, earning a loud noise of disgust from you.
You raised a hand to brush the ashes from your hair, only to freeze when the vampire turned around and stared at you with his piercing red gaze. Surprisingly, rather than feeling fearful when your eyes had locked with each others, you felt calm. And happy. Very happy.
The vampire stared at you for a moment longer before reaching out a hand down to you, offering a cocky smirk, “Need help, dear?” You opened your mouth for a moment before closing it again, hesitating for only a slight moment before raising your hand and lightly placing it over his, allowing him to help you up.
“You are not hurt, right?” While the cocky smirk had remained on his lips, his eyes scanned you with worry, slightly surprising you. Who knew that vampires could even worry about someone besides themselves?
“I-”
Just as you were about to answer him, a shout came from a distance. Both of you turned your heads to see what was going on. And there was Mito, running towards the two of you, glaring murderously at the vampire.
He chuckled quietly before turning his attention back to you and raising your hand which he was still holding, placing a light kiss on the back of your hand, “I suppose I should take my leave now. Take care, my dear. If you would like to arrange a time for the both of us to meet up, simply ask Guren Ichinose over there.” He paused for a moment to jerk his head towards the direction where Guren was finishing off killing the last of the vampires, “He knows how to contact me.”
The vampire then placed another light kiss on the back of your hand, “Ah. How rude of me. I almost forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ferid Bathory, the seventh progenitor. I must say, my dear, you certainly have an interesting road ahead of you to have a vampire as your soulmate~”
Ferid sent you a small wink before disappearing before you in a flash. And just in time as Mito had came skidding to a stop in front of you no more than a few seconds later, asking a flurry of questions at you about why that bloodsucker had acted so friendly towards you.
You simply tuned her out, a smile starting to slowly spread across your face. As Ferid had said, you certainly had an interesting road ahead of you. But you were eager and looking forward to the things that would come in the future. Ferid, he hadn’t seemed to bad. Perhaps it would be better then you thought it would be.
·
Ferid stood on another roof top, watching as your teammates worriedly lead you back towards the squad’s car. A small sigh escaped his lips. Why had he bothered saving her? He just couldn’t help himself when he saw that his soulmate was in danger. That woman, (Y/N), as he had heard her teammates call her. He couldn’t help but think how that name really suited her. The silver haired vampire watched her for a few more seconds, a rare, gentle smile appearing on his lips.
