Some of you guys have noticed by now - reeeee - but I’ve been back on this blog after 2 years of inactivity -

To people new to my blog - hello, I’m Tsunami! I joined the OnS RP fandom a few years ago, but went on a very long break. I also used to scanlate for the OnS manga and do fan translation edits of it when it was unavailable for most to read. I don’t do that anymore, however, since now the manga is easy to access and able to read everywhere now! I roleplay Lest Karr from the series, please treat me gently!

Anyways, I’m not...per se “active”, but I do drop in to at least try responding to asks and stuff - and maybe pick up a thread or two~

I’m not terribly eager to pursue new blogs on my own, like I have before long time ago when I was active - so I’ll stick with blogs I still recognize from back then for now to approach for interactions and threads...

HOWEVER - if there are any new OnS rp blogs that comes across me, don’t be afraid to approach me! Let’s interact! I’m just not going to seek out new blogs myself since I’m still iffy on my activity status back here again.

Aaaannnd....my theme, rules page, about page, etc. everything is really outdated and messy...I should make it more clean and professional, but I lack the time and motivation to do that - hopefully that doesn’t discourage anyone from trying to interact with me haha, I made those pages years ago when I was inexperienced, and just never found the time to tidy them up again. By all means, please know that I’ve improved much more since then! Hopefully one day, maybe I’ll get around to cleaning that up... I’m most embarassed about these because it makes my blog seem childish and messy, but trust me I’m long past that stage now ;;; I too would like a clean blog and pages for new people to check out - even my other rp blogs I made after this one have better profiles than this haha - please disregard the messiness!

Just for the sake of it, I’ll be reblogging my promo post just to see if anyone who’s new to the rp side of OnS fandom (basically new blogs that have emerged since me and the other old rp blogs have left) haven’t seen me before and would like to interact with Lest a bit!

My activity status is still...unsure of...I’m now a college student and working part-time, so my time isn’t as free anymore to write as I’d like, but my passion to write in general is still there - so anyone who picks up a thread with me, please bear with me! I’ll always reply eventually, and will keep doing so as long as you’re still interested in the thread! c: I’m easy-going about things, so I’m not as strict with reply times as I was long ago when I was really invested into roleplaying, so please expect varying time gaps for replies from me!! But of course, I’ll always try my best to answer as soon as I can!

Anyways, there’s more I want to say but this post is really, really lengthy now - maybe I’ll summarize other things in another post, but for now this is all I want to mention! Thank you again if you read this far, and if you’re a new rp blog, by all means don’t be afraid to approach me! I’m still selective, but I’m not hard to talk to! I’m just as eager to meet new people, given the chance! Thank you!

      ☾♔♚☽ “He does not sound like such a flattering individual, then. Not that there was anything I found flattering about him in the first place - but I can’t help feeling disappointed.”

He exhaled slightly, eyes closing for a brief moment before lifting. Despite having his question fulfilled, his curiosity was not satiated, and the sense of satisfaction that usually followed after did not come. Rather, the exchange only left him with more questions to ask, more things to ponder about, more things to run his mind to ruin as he had so many times in the past simply because he just couldn’t stop being curious - starving for knowledge was something he’d heard many tell him being one of his greatest flaws, but also one of his greatest strengths.

Whether flaw or strength now, it wasn’t important to know - what only mattered was for him to pry more out of Father while he could.

“Despite you always telling me that...” He hesitated, a rare feeling of humility overcoming him. “...that...I’m a gift to you - being told that rather my origins are that of a punishment...leaves a rather unsavory taste in my mouth.”

“Tell me, then - is this a punishment meant to last for eternity, until we perish under mortal means, or will God come back for us one day after he’s deemed us worthy of being forgiven? Or rather...does he fear us now, and our wrath of being abandoned here on this desolate wasteland known as Earth, left without guidance when we needed Him the most?”

      ☾♔♚☽ “Yes, Father.”

His reply echoed throughout the desolate ruins they wandered, followed by the tap of his footsteps as he came forward without question. However, he was just as quick to speak, thoughts that had spiraled tumultuously in his head making its way forth. Really, nothing could seem the pacify him once his curiosities were piqued, and he was given the attention needed to talk about it.

“Perhaps a reason unattainable to even us - but that just leaves us with the entertainment of speculation. And for our kind, at this point, the luxury of being entertained by anything shouldn’t be taken for granted. With this, I could see why humans consider beings that lives for millenniums as philosophical or all-seeing - when really, we’ve just had too much time to use to ponder on even the most mundane of things - anything to rid us of this starving ache of boredom.”

He paused in his footsteps for a moment, thinking carefully over Father’s words again, to see if there was a flaw of some sort - surely there’d be something more to discuss, other than settling on it simply being an “unattainable answer”. Though far older than most of his brethren now, his childish fascination and curiosity had always remained, and it yearned to be satiated with this discussion.

“Have you met God, before? Were we not told that He is the reason our kind exists?”

      ☾♔♚☽“Why are you so curious about my deceased vassal? Did he do you a favour when he was alive? I highly doubt it, Lucal wasn’t that sort of individual, not one bit. Nonetheless, I have some time to spare and you’ve luckily caught me in a rather passive mood - so allow me to humor you just this time.”

“Lucal wasn’t incompetent, really - though his arrogance I always thought would be his downfall. There’s nothing wrong with being arrogant in my opinion, but the way one goes about it, they mustn’t let it get to their heads and disillusion them. Unfortunately, he was always that sort of person. I warned him before, and he assured me I wouldn’t have to worry about him - not that I was, just pitied his narrow-minded thinking - yet look at him now. Gone. A shame.”

“I won’t deny that he was a competent individual as well, as he did serve me loyally, though he was a little too loud-mouth whenever it came to lower-ranked progenitors and nobles. Still, I do feel regret that he died a pointless death. Had he heed my warnings, he wouldn’t have been turned to ash. A pity, but that’s just how life goes.”

“A true shame, really - he was one of my more favourable progenitors in my faction to keep at my side, and I did entrust to him many things before; he was entertaining to humor as well. Though he was known to be notoriously cruel to even those most close to him that served him, never once did I feel his loyalty to be a threat to me. At least he was honest in serving in my faction. Just a little lesson, I suppose, to others in my faction to watch their arrogance. I already warned them before, if they do not heed them, then their downfall is on their own hands. However, it does make me look unsavory when my vassals are dying so easily - I’d prefer if that didn’t happen.”
