I mathed it, I know how old Obake is.
So if Big Hero 6 takes place in 2032, which is what most of us agree on, and Obake was a student at SFIT, but Hiro and Karmi were younger than him when they got admitted, being fourteen and sixteen respectively, then Obake had to have been around seventeen when he was at SFIT. And if the accident happened twenty years before 2032, Obake would have been born in 1995, making him 37 years old during the events of Big Hero 6: The Series. We don't know his birthday, but he's 29/will be 29 this year (2024).

“You gotta be kidding me.” He laughs.
“It’s true Woo, you gotta believe me!”
“That sounds ridiculous, you know that right?” He side eyed me.
Oh come on.
“Me? Dying?” He coughs.
“It looked so real…” I pouted.
“I’m not going anywhere cupcake.” He pets my head, lips forming a smile.
“She’s just being dramatic.” Mingyu spoke from the kitchen.
“Oh come on Gyu, you’re worse.”
Wonwoo laughs.
“Shut up.” Mingyu answered.
I smiled like a kid.
“Come on guys, we need to go complete a mission.” Scoups called out.
I’ve been living with Seventeen ever since I woke up in this strange place.
They found me at my most vulnerable state, and they took me in. They’ve been my brothers and protectors ever since. Since I’ve been with them for almost a year, those nice mannered men had definitely changed. If you know what I mean.
We are currently living in 2032 where humanity has been taken over by the AI and we were a few of those humans left. Before we get on to the present, let me introduce to you to ‘The Boys’
SCoups: The fierce leader who has to take care of 13 + 1 (me) children, who can’t stay still when they are together on normal days. He may be strict and manly, but he has a soft heart in the inside and sometimes will just be a big cute softie. A great combat soldier. You can never win him in fights.
Jeonghan: The second oldest in the group. A huge prankster who also has great skills in a mission. He’s like a mom. I would go to him for emotional support.
Joshua: He’s the gentle sexy guy of the group who has good looks and is smart. He’s good in every language and also good in searching information for missions. I call him Shua hyung like the other guys. He gives me great hugs.
Jun: He’s the most naive guy in this group. But he is also very smart. Tend to find Plan B just in case Plan A doesn’t work out.
Hoshi: Horanghae of the group. Do I have to say more?
Wonwoo: A super cold guy at first. But at first sight I thought he looked like a black cat. He’s a gamer dude so killing robots are actually his speciality. He’s the ace in this. Tall, Black leather jacket, black hair, sharp eyes…you might want to stay away. (whisper) He’s actually a softie inside too, only to certain people.
Woozi: The mastermind behind all the missions. Also the smallest and fittest person in the group. Our group combat trainer.
DK: The clown. But don’t be fooled. He can kill you too.
Mingyu: The big tall athletic muscular guy. Don’t be afraid tho, he’s a huge softie that always gets bullied by his older brothers. He will protect you tho. A drama Queen too.
The8: The kungfu master. Can kill ten in one shot. No kidding. You do not want to piss him off. A advice giver too.
Seungkwan: Mr Boo. He’s my diva. He sings really well but he can be a diva at some times, no actually most of the time. He’s always talkative and I love to talk to him. He’s abit sassy tho.
Vernon: Swag. He and I share the same face expressions.
Dino: The maknae, sometimes I wonder why his hyungs treat him so badly. I mean look at him, he’s such a baby. Sometimes I have to stand up for him. He treats me the best and always gives me dance lessons.
Okay that was a long introduction. Oh and there me, Y/N a girl who just randomly ended up in this big family. Someone who also gets spoilt a lot for being the only girl to exist here. Somehow from what I heard, I have vision powers. And my vision tends to happen. That’s why I was concerned about Wonwoo in the first place.
“Wonwoo stay here, Gyu come with me.”
“Oh come on, you can’t expect me to stay here and wait for you guys to complete the mission right? I’m faster then all of you.”
I rolled my eyes. Him and his ego.
“She’s right hyung, we can do this.” Mingyu answered.
“Don’t worry guys, I’ll stay here and back up.” Joshua said.
“Thanks Shua Hyung.” I waved and ran off with Gyu.
The floor creaked as we entered the building. Mingyu cocked his rifle walking ahead of me, light shining into the dark dusty building. I held my rifle tightly to my body, fingers on the trigger pointing the gun straight ahead preparing to shoot anything that was going to jump infront of me. We walked quietly surveying the place, going to one of the rooms to find the piece Woozi asked us to look for. As we walked deeper in, I sensed something was off. I couldn’t quite tell. The air smelled different. Like there was humans, living here.
I shrugged it off and followed Mingyu. We looked into the room and found the piece that Woozi wanted in a cabinet.
“I got it.”
“Quick let’s go.” Mingyu whispered.
I nodded. We quietly exited the room.
“Wait,”
I turned back towards Mingyu.
Someone is coming. He mouthed.
Panicked appeared on my face.
He placed a finger on his mouth asking me to stay right where I was.
Shit shit shit.
He slowly stepped towards me silently as I slowly retreated back into the room.
Crack.
Shit.
Bullets starting flying towards us.
“Take cover!” Mingyu shouted as we both hid behind this huge slab of cement.
“Shit, how did they know we were here?” I exclaimed.
“I have no idea.” Mingyu answered.
Now what?
“Joshua, we’ve been attacked. Are you guys okay out there?” Mingyu sent a message on the radio.
Bullets we’re still flying as we took turns to shoot back.
I raised my gun towards the enemy as I saw, they were humans. Just like us.
But why?
“Gyu, they’re not AI, they are humans.”
He peek up from the slab of cement. “But they’re still shooting!”
We raised our hands up hoping they would recognise us being the same kind and stopped.
Of course they didn’t.
“Gyu watch out!” I pulled him away as a bullet flew pass my arm, grazing it in the process.
Ah great.
“They’re not humans Y/N.” He said with a serious tone.
“I saw they had blue robotic eyes, with no life in them like they were just ordered to shoot.”
The radio buzzed. “ Gyu, it’s not looking good out here.” Joshua shouted gun firing sounds heard in the background.
What are we going to do? This was an ambush. They know we were coming.
Wait. Wonwoo.
Is this what I saw in the vision?
“Hey Y/N! Listen to me!”
I looked at Mingyu face covered in dirt. He looks bad. Probably I looked like that too.
“We need to get out of here now. You got the piece right?” He told me.
I nodded.
“We can do this. On the count of 3.”
1,
2,
3.”
We held our guns up and shot any many as we can. Mingyu was right, they all had blue biotic eyes, emotionless expressions. Just walking and shooting forward. Their target was us. They were programmed to kill us. We managed to destroy all of them, one by one falling to the floor. I bend down to check if they were dead and saw on their neck there was a mark, and a chip was installed. Biochips on humans. They were creating humanoids. The AI are getting smarter now. Turning the creators into their machines.
Once the building was cleared, we ran out of the building, only to see the car we came in on fire, a pile of humanoids, and Joshua and Wonwoo nowhere to be seen.
“Josh, where are you?” Mingyu said into the radio.
No response.
Did it happen? My vision? Is Wonwoo.. gone?
I was too late.
The sound of roaring was heard from afar.
I turned around my gun ready to shoot…
Two motorbikes were coming our way, with a trail of AI running after them.
“Y/N don’t shoot! It’s them.”
Two guys in black suits, motorbikes roaring.
As one zooms and stops infront of me.
He opens his visor and I immediately recognise those eyes.
“Quickly put this on and get on.”
I fumbled with the helmet as I got onto the bike and put it on.
He grabbed my hands and placed it around his waist.
“Hold on tight.”
A sudden screen appeared inside of the helmet.

Mr. Chalamet: Info, author’s note, media
AO3 info one two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven epilogue
Summary: The one where Tim is a bit dumb and has a kid as a teenager. At seventeen, his daughter enrolls in an early college program allowing her to take classes at a nearby university. Things get complicated when he meets his daughter’s class partner for the semester.
All my work is 18+.
First chapter is being posted today, will post every week till Lea’s birthday on the 30th. It’s not finished, I just only have four chapters done, soooooooo 😅
Be forewarned: this fic contains a bigger age gap than I usually write. Lea is twenty when things actually start happening. Tim is thirty-five. In this version, Lea was born in 2010. His kid is with Lourdes, and they are married. The first chapter takes place in 2030, but the bulk of it takes place in 2031-2032. This particular fic does not contain infidelity, as Tim and Lourdes aren’t together romantically or sexually, and have agreed that seeing other people is fine. There is a significant amount of sneaking around, however, as Elle, their daughter, isn’t aware of this arrangement. In any case, there will be a big power imbalance here.

Reading stories I have stared but not finished, whether posted or not and i think i might try and continue this, if people were interested.
June 2032
In one of the few remaining places in the multiverse, what looks to be a steel bunker, which is what it was in another life,  three teenager best friends are standing together staring at a screen; seventeen-year-old Alya Fitzsimmons, biologically thirteen-year-old Robin Hinton and thirteen year old Morgan Stark may only be young, but they have seen a lot, they know a lot, which results in all three of them seeming a lot older than they are; they have become wise beyond their ages out of necessity.
“Another one?” Alya asks looking at the screen which Morgan is editing, and she can’t help but frown at what appears as she knows how incredibly bad it is.
“Another one,” Morgan says, turning away from the screen to look at her friends, looking incredibly concerned as she knows how bad this is.
“It shouldn’t be happening this fast,” Robin says, also frowning as while she sees a lot of things what she didn’t see coming is the destruction happening as fast as it is.
“We can’t predict this, not even you,” Morgan tells her friend.
“Which is exactly why we’ve got to act,” Robin says, looking between her two best friends, knowing that they need to have this conversation, the conversation they have been avoiding ever since she first had her vision.
“No, we’re not there yet,” Alya argues as she doesn’t want to consider it until they have no other option, and right now she has to believe they have other options.
“If not now then when? When another five universes are gone? Ten? Twenty?” Robin asks, knowing that chances are it’s going to happen unless they act fast. “We’re running out of time, if we are going to do this we need to start preparing,” Robin tells the others.
“Even for us it’s going to take months to create what we need to create,” Morgan reminds Robin, knowing that as event though they didn’t want to consider it they have discussed what it would mean, what is needed.
“Which is exactly why we can’t waste a second,” Robin argues, feeling frustrated as due to her powers it feels like she is stuck in a loop, constantly trying to get the others to see what they have to do.
“Look, I love you Robin, but we both know that because you can see across multiple timelines, across multiple universes, your visions can sometimes be hard to interpret,” Alya reminds her friend, who honestly doesn’t need the reminder, doing so in the kindness way possible. “How can you be sure that this is what we should do?” Alya asks, even though she has never known her friend to be wrong.
“Because it’s the only solution I can see,” Robin admits, her voice having an almost defeated undertone to it. “I know what I’m suggesting, I understand what it will mean, and believe me I know how difficult it will be, but the multiverse is collapsing around us,” Robin reminds Alya and Morgan. “I don’t know what other option we have,” Robin admits as thanks to her visions she has seen multiple outcomes of what happens next and out of all the outcomes she has seen she knows that all but one will end in complete destruction of everything.
“It’s not just up to us,” Morgan reminds Robin and Alya, as now that they are actually discussing this she knows what they have to do. “I’ll go get the others, if we’re really going to have a conversation about this then we all need to be apart of it,” Morgan says and after seeing both Alya and Robin nod she heads out of the room.
After Morgan leaves the room Robin walks several steps closer to Alya because she doesn’t need her powers to tell her why Alya is so against this plan, and she completely understands her friends’ reasons.
“You really hate this idea,” Robin says to Alya, it being a statement and not a question, feeling that it could help Alya to talk about what is going on with her.
“They’ve sacrificed so much; they’ve saved timelines and universes’ so many times. They’ve finally earned their retirement and we’re asking them to do it all again,” Alya says, pain in her voice. “I don’t know, it feels like too much,” Alya admits, looking torn as while she knows what’s at stake, she also understands what they will be asking.
“If we do this, we won’t be collecting all of them from after that last mission,” Robin tells Alya, as she knows that they will be collecting the people they need to collect from different, specific, points as it is the only way for this plan to work.
“That’s not much better,” Alya admits and as she does Robin gives her an understanding look and takes a step towards her.
“I know why this is hard for you, I understand more than anyone,” Robin admits, and her understanding isn’t thanks to her powers, which Alya knows. “Do you think I like the idea of bringing mom back into all this? Of causing her the pain I know she’s going to feel seeing Coulson alive again, facing the possibility of losing him again because that’s a real possibility considering what they have to do? Because I don’t,” Robin admits, as due to the fact that she can see across multiple timelines, multiple universes every version of her will always consider Melinda May to be her mother. “But I don’t see another way, and when I’m the one saying that you know…” Robin starts to say.
“That there is no other way,” Alya says, with a sigh, as she has learnt that. “I hate this,” Alya admits.
“Me too,” Robin admits, feeling that there would be something wrong with them if they didn’t, before hugging her friend, and the two of them drift into silence as they embrace, both thinking about the consequences of what they may end up doing, and just how huge what they are asking is.
For a few minutes Alya and Robin wait in silence, eventually breaking apart, until the door to the room they are in opens and Morgan walks in with a group of people all looking to be in their teens or twenties; Tommy and Billy Maximoff, Riri Williams, America Chavez, Cassie Lang, Kamala Khan, Kate Bishop, MJ Jones, Lila Barton and two beings who were cosmically created who are now known as Flint and Love.
“We’re really going to have this discussion?” Riri asks, looking at Alya and Robin, as Morgan filled them in about what they will be talking about.
“We’re running out of time,” Robin tells the others. “If we don’t make a decision now, we won’t have enough time to do what we have to do,” Robin explains, needing the others to understand that this is do or die, literally.
“Robin’s right,” Billy says, knowing that for the same reason Robin does, and because of that he understands better than anyone. “With every day that passes our window closes, it’s now or never to make this decision,” Billy tells the others.
“Is there a decision?” I mean if we can make things better don’t we have to?” Lila asks, as from what has been said she is sure that they have a responsibility to make everything better especially considering they are the only ones who can.
“It’s not that simple,” Cassie reminds her. “This isn’t just changing one timeline, one universe, this will affect the entire multiverse, re-writing the entire multiverse,” Cassie says her. “This is a huge decision,” Cassie points out, as she isn’t sure they have the right to make this decision.
“Isn’t that kind of the point?” Kamala asks, as that’s what she thinks. “Everything’s ending, the multiverse needs re-writing,” Kamala argues, as from her perspective there is a lot of things that need fixing and that is what heroes do.
“But if we do this, aren’t we putting a hell of a lot on a single group of people?” Tommy asks, feeling worried that they can’t handle it as he doesn’t know them as well as others.
“They can handle it,” Flint says as he knows that without a doubt.
“I have no doubt about that,” Love admits as she has heard the stories. “But Alya made a good point last time we discussed this, is it fair to ask them?” Love asks as she isn’t overly sure that it is.
“As awful as it is to say I think we’re beyond using fairness as a factor when making a decision,” MJ admits.
“Okay, well ignoring fairness for the minute how do we even know that they’ll agree when we ask?” America asks as she can’t help but think that there is the possibility that the Agents won’t do what they are going to ask.
“They’re SHIELD, they’ll always choose protection, no matter the personal cost,” Alya says, knowing that if there is one thing she can be sure of it is that. “They’ll say yes if we ask,” Alya says, which is why she doesn’t like the idea of them asking, and Robin gives her a sympathetic look.
“And that brings us back to whether we should ask,” Morgan realises.
“What if we don’t make that decision now?” Kate asks, getting an idea.
“Haven’t you been listening? We have to, the window….” Billy starts to say.
“Is closing, I get that,” Kate admits, resisting the urge to roll her eyes, as she has been listening. “But that doesn’t mean we have to make the compete decision now,” Kate argues, and the others give her interested looks, all wondering what she is thinking. “What if we create what we need if we decide to do this and then once it’s ready, we make the decision, that way we keep our options open,” Kate suggests.
“That is the most logical plan,” Alya says approvingly, as she realises that it will keep their options open.
“Then let’s get to work, if the window really is closing then every second counts,” Morgan says and the group get to work, discussing what they have to do and how to do it, something they can only achieve by working together, as the team, the family, they have become.
September 2032
Three months have passed since the group of young heroes decided to create what they need if they decided to re-write the multiverse as well as coming up with the plan about how they will do it if they decide to go through with basically re-booting the multiverse. As well as all their planning the group have also had to do what they need to do to survive as well as doing everything they can to protect others as they are the last hope a lot of beings have.
While the others are standing around and observing Morgan, Alya, Riri, and Cassie are working on what looks to be an old fax machine, but what is actually so much more and will play a key part in what they are going to do.
“What are the levels like?” Cassie asks Riri, as Riri is looking at the tablet that is monitoring things.
“Stable,” Riri answers, sounding relieved, looking up from her screen after checking a few things, there being a level of disbelieving in her voice as a part of her she cannot believe that the have pulled this off as even with Robin’s vision giving them faith, she was doubting that they’d be able to do this as it seems just so incredible.
“Then it’s ready,” Alya realises, not sure how to feel about that.
“Almost,” Morgan says as secures the final part. “Now it’s ready,” Morgan tells the others, looking between them.
“So, it’s time, that’s the last piece,” Flint realises, as the object they are looking at is only one piece of what they the have spent the last three months both collecting and creating.
“We’ve got to make a decision,” Billy says, knowing they can’t avoid it anymore. “In just three months everything has gotten so much worse, my vote’s that we can’t wait; we’ve got to do this, and we’ve got to do it now,” Billy admits, while he was hesitant about basically re-writing the multiverse after seeing firsthand how much worse things have gotten and how quickly he knows that this is something they have to do.
“Alya, you’ve been the most against this, what do you think?” MJ asks, wanting her opinion as she is the most personally effected, and Alya signs, as she knew this was coming.
“I’ve been thinking, a lot, thinking about what they would say if they knew were debating this, what they would say if they knew we had a way for them to save the multiverse and I didn’t want them to do it because I didn’t want to drag them back into the fight,” Alya admits, as it is what she has been thinking about most for the past few months, honestly it has resulted in her getting even less sleep than ‘normal’.
“And?” Kate asks her curious.
“They’d be furious with me,” Alya admits, knowing that. “Nanna May, Robin’s mum, once told Uncle Lance that SHIELD is about sacrifice, not for you or me, but for the greater good, even over the ones you love,” Alya admits. “My hesitance is because of love, but I know them, they’ll always want to do what’s right,” Alya reveals, as she has always known that it’s what she was raised to know, but she still finds it difficult to accept.
“So, you’re saying we should do this,” Kamala realises, feeling a little surprised by that as she knows how against the plan Alya has been.
“I’m saying that they would be willing to sacrifice if they knew what was on the line, so we should give them the opportunity,” Alya admits, even though it is incredible hard for her to do so.
“Okay, then I guess we’re in agreement,” Cassie says, looking around at the others and she sees that now that Alya has agreed no one else is people hesitating, it being clear that Alya’s hesitance was the only thing that was holding the others back. “The multiverse needs a shield, it’s time we give it to them,” Cassie says. “America, Robin, Billy, Kamala,” Cassie says as she, Riri, Alya and Morgan take serval steps away from the object, allowing the four who Cassie said to have the space they need.
As Riri, Alya and Morgan take steps away from the object that looks like a fax machine America, Robin, Billy, and Kamala stand around it. Once they are standing around it Riri presses a button on the tablet she is holding and after she does that each of the corners open and four circular sensors rise up from inside. The sensors are small, about the size of a large marble, but are big enough for America, Robin, Billy, and Kamala, to hold with their hands surrounding the entire sensor.
“Ready?” Riri asks, as she knows that what is about to happen must happen in unison.
“Ready,” America, Robin, Billy, and Kamala say together.
“Then on the count of three, we do this,” Riri tells them. “One, two, three,” Riri says and as soon as she says three, she presses something on the tablet she is holding and as she does that America, Robin, Billy, and Kamala all cause energy to come out of each of them and into the machine.
After about thirty seconds the machine starts to make the sounds of an old fashion fax and a piece of paper slower comes out of the machine and into the tray that is connected. “That’s it,” Riri says once the paper is completely out of the machine, and she presses another button on the tablet as the others stop the energy form coming out of each of them and into the machine.
“How do you feel?” Love asks her friends concerned as it was never clear exactly how they would react to doing what they just did.
“Okay,” Robin answers.
“Billy? Kamala?” Kate asks, also sounding concerned.
“I’m okay,” Billy answers.
“Me too,” Kamala confirms assures her friend with a comforting smile.
“Good,” Tommy says relieved, and he walks over to the machine and picks up the piece of paper. “So, this is it?” Tommy asks, looking down at the piece of paper, something which looks like nothing, but is incredibly powerful.
“That’s it,” Billy confirms. “Exactly where in time and space where we need to collect each of the Agents of SHIELD from,” Billy reveals, feeling a little shocked as other than Robin no one was completely sure that they were going to get this done.
“So, who do we start with?” Lila asks, looking between the others. “Philip J Coulson,” Robin says, causing everyone to look at her. “He can put the pieces together,”

                             HSHQTASK012 - FINAL TIMELINE
APRIL 2021 -
rowen leaves the royalty protection program, and returns to malta to find it in total disarray - most of the government has been lead to believe rowen is an idiot incapable of doing anything except swing a hockey stick. while they might be a little bit correct, his cousin didn’t account for how far his spitefulness can take him.
OCTOBER 2021 -
just six months into formal training to become king, rowen signs his first trade deal. unsurprisingly, it’s with crown prince giovanni di savoia of italy. public favor begins to turn, as rowen has started to seem a lot less like the kid they plucked out of canada and a lot more like the king the country desperately needs, as time has gone on.
JUNE 2023 -
rowen hosts the first royal summit on economic advancement to ever take place in malta. valletta welcomes hundreds of royals, and it feels a bit like a weird version of a high school reunion to rowen. it’s nice to all be in one place again, even if it’s only for five days.
MARCH 2025 -
another arranged marriage is proposed, and rowen accepts, only to end the engagement four months later. he decides after that perhaps marriage is out of the cards for him entirely.
JUNE 2028 -
he’s exhausted after spending six months arguing with his grandmother about how to move forward with the country, and he takes a vacation to saint tropez. rowen decides to throw responsibility into the wind yet again, and has an affair with a woman he will refuse to any person outside of his family. this time, he manages to avoid any cameras catching him in the act - and he thinks he’s managed to actually get away with it.
AUGUST 2028 -
because nothing in his life can go as planned, the woman arrives on his doorstep and admits that she’s pregnant, and the child is rowen’s. he agrees to take care of their child, as she has no interest in being royalty - or being a mother at all. he agrees to her terms, and just like that, everything changes yet again.
JANUARY 2029 -
the dowager queen of malta, henrietta moncada, passes away peacefully in her sleep at the age of eighty-one. malta doesn’t take up a regent, as there is no suitable alternative. instead, rowen is crowned king of malta in her stead - three years earlier than maltese law would have allowed. the exception is approved by an overwhelming majority of the maltese parliamentary body.
MARCH 2029 -
veronique moncada, rowen’s daughter and heir to the maltese throne, is born and kept totally secret. only his inner circle is alerted, and veronique is allowed to live without the media breathing down her neck for the first seventeen months.
AUGUST 2030 -
vero comes down with a severe cough and, in a totally panicked state, rowen takes her to an urgent care facility. a photograph of him holding vero hits twitter, and the world finds out rowen’s secret.
JULY 2032 -
rowen’s father is arrested in milwaukee. rowen demands his extradition to malta, only to pardon him for all crimes committed against the monarchy, causing an international incident and ending positive relations between the united states and malta. jonathan spires remains in malta until his death, and rowen manages to get back a little bit more of the old life that he misses so much.
MAY 2035 -
veronique starts school at an elite preparatory academy, and rowen calls an old friend to teach her how to figure skate, when veronique decides she doesn’t want to play hockey. nikolina krasimirova is sort of an expert, and his daughter deserves the best, right? (nika spends the entire weekend laughing at him as he chases a six year old around on old skates.)
DECEMBER 2040 -
vero places first in a speech competition, and shows actual interest in being royal. he’s not quite sure where she got that from, but she does pay a lot of attention to her tutors and is everything rowen never was able to fake being.
JULY 2050 -
vero graduates from college early, and returns to malta with a shiny new degree in international relations and a boyfriend that follows her around like a puppy. rowen has truly never been more proud of her than the day she manages to get a diploma - something he never could have accomplished.
NOVEMBER 2059 -
veronique is married to the same boyfriend that she brought home initially - and the royal community is astonished that, yet again, a moncada has managed to shirk all tradition. her husband was a regular guy from barcelona. her mother is in attendance at the wedding, although not a soul, outside the family, puts the pieces together.
MARCH 2066 -
veronique ascends to the throne on her thirty-seventh birthday, after badgering her father to leave the position for two years. rowen abdicates and retires, spending his time between the grandmaster’s palace in valletta and a small single-family home in the heart of the halifax suburbs. as time goes on, he spends less time in malta and more time at his real home.
DECEMBER 2085 -
former king rowen of malta’s funeral takes place in valletta, but he is buried in his family’s plot in halifax.

Ghosts in Gotham
Tumblr media
Danny Phantom / DC Comics fanfic
Dedicated to: @dannyphantom-justiceleauge
Summary: The Batfamily has been through their fair share of the supernatural. That’s why they originally weren’t worried whenever ghosts started showing up in Gotham City. Until one day, something happens; Batman is captured and taken into the Ghost Zone. With no way to go in there themselves, the no way to fight the ghosts inside, the bats decide to call the person who can; Danny Phantom. Together, Danny takes Tim Drake, Stephanie Brown and Damian Wayne into the Ghost Zone before the Batman is lost forever.
Words: 2032
ch 2 Masterlist
Chapter 1:
-
Every city had its hero.
Gotham City? Batman. Metropolis? Superman. Central City? The Flash.
Amity Park? Danny Phantom.
Amity Park had mixed feelings about Phantom. Some said he was a helper, a true hero, keeping the town safe. Others said he was a criminal, doing nothing but wreaking havoc on the town. Either way, Phantom was known for one specific thing; fighting ghosts.
Which is what he was doing at the moment.
"I am!! The Box Ghost!!" a short, stocky ghost shouted. His eyes glowed blue and an aura of the same color surrounded the boxes crowding the back of a movie theater. "Beware!" he raised his arms and hurled three boxes at a figure who easily dodged.
"Come on, Box Ghost," a teenage boy with white hair and green eyes floating above the ground groaned. "I don't have time for this! I have to order the new Cheese Viking game before it sells out!"
"Beware!" The Box Ghost shouted again, throwing more boxes at the boy.
Danny Phantom rolled his eyes as his body became intangible, the boxes easily passing through it. He raised his arm, and a blast of bright green energy shot from his palm, hitting the Box Ghost square in the chest. The Box Ghost, with a grunt, was blown back into the brick wall of the movie theater.
Not wasting any time, Danny grabbed the thermos that he had strapped to his back and pointed it at the other ghost. In a flash of light, the Box Ghost was sucked into the thermos.
"Finally," Danny muttered as he took off into the sky.
Danny Phantom, his real name being Danny Fenton, was a sixteen-year-old halfa, or a ghost-human hybrid. He could switch between ghost and human form at will. He'd gotten his powers from an accident with the Ghost Portal, a portal in his home that was a bridge between the human world and the Ghost Zone, where every ghost resides.
Ghosts repeatedly escaped the Ghost Zone through this portal for one of three reasons; to wreak havoc on the human world, to kill Danny or both. Usually, it was the latter.
Danny returned to his house, passing through the walls of the building with intangibility and landing in the lab. He switched back to his human form in a flash of light, changing his hair color from white to black and his eyes from green to blue.
His family was made up of ghost hunters- aside from his sister -so they had an entire lab dedicated to ghost technology.
"Back you go, Boxy," Danny said as he released the Box Ghost into the portal. "Finally," he sighed, "Time to get Cheese Viking."
"No!" he shouted five minutes later at his computer. The new Cheese Viking, Danny's favorite game, had sold out.
"Danny!" a large man in an orange jumpsuit burst into the boy's room. "Are you okay!? Are you hurt!?"
"No, Dad, I'm fine," Danny replied to his father, Jack Fenton. "Except for that stupid Box Ghost making me too late to get Cheese Viking!"
He hadn't told his parents about his life as Phantom until he was fifteen. Well, it wasn't Danny who told them. His sister found him in his room passed out with a gaping hole in his side, and she had to tell their parents so they could help him.
Jack paused. "But.. you got him?" he asked cheerily. Danny smiled.
"Yeah. I got him." Jack slapped him on the back.
"Thatta boy!" he said with a grin. "Come on, Jazz got a letter from Wayne Enterprises and your mom wants the whole family to watch her open it!"
Jazz, Danny's sister, had just graduated high school and had applied for an internship at Wayne Enterprises, one of the largest businesses in the world. An internship there would kick-start her career in marketing. That was the reason she claimed, but Danny was sure that part of the reason was that Bruce Wayne, the billionaire who owned Wayne Enterprises, was cute.
"Finally!" Jazz, a girl with long red hair and a blue headband huffed. "I haven't been able to look for three hours! What were you out doing?"
"Uh, my job?" Danny smirked as he hopped over the back of the couch to sit on it. Jazz rolled her eyes.
"Open it, dear!" Their mom, Maddie Fenton, urged. Jazz grinned widely, opening the letter. Her smile grew, and she jumped up and down.
"I got it!" she squealed. "I got it!! I got the internship!!"
"That's great, Jazz!" the other three Fentons exclaimed at once. Jazz seemed to get even more excited as she continued reading the letter.
"And," she continued excitedly, "All the interns are expected to attend the next Wayne Gala with their families! All expenses paid!"
"Yes!" Jack cried. "We're going to New Jersey, baby!" As the entire family celebrated, Danny couldn't help but be suspicious. Jazz had applied late and while she was smart, she wouldn't have been anything special next to the other applicants.
Something was up. _
"So what, you think she only got accepted because of you?" A girl with short black hair raised an eyebrow as they walked through the halls of their high school. "Why, exactly?"
"Because, Sam," Danny responded to his girlfriend. "It's weird. I was looking at the Infi-map, and there's a portal to the Ghost Zone in Gotham that wasn't there a month ago. And get this? It's five miles away from Wayne Manor.”
"You think Bruce Wayne wants you out of the way for some plan?
"It wouldn't be the first time somebody did."
"But how would he even know who you are?" Sam Manson asked, "I mean, there's no way he knows that you're Phantom."
"Um, because he's Batman?" An African American boy walking beside them scoffed as though it was obvious. "Batman knows everything."
Danny and Sam laughed. "Tucker, seriously?" Danny shook his head in disbelief. "That conspiracy? Batman and Bruce Wayne have been seen at the same time in the same place multiple times.”
"Okay, well, you can clone yourself! Who's to say Batman can't? Or maybe it's a hologram! Or maybe it's one of his thousand children in the suit!" Tucker Foley counted on his fingers as he rattled off the various theories. His eyes widened, and he grabbed Danny's shoulders. "Dude, you have to get proof."
"There's no way I'd be able to get close enough to Bruce Wayne to prove anything."
"Then trick him!" Tucker said, his eyes bright. "Most of Bruce's adopted kids are boys with black hair and blue eyes! Just say you're an orphan and I bet he'll be like 'Of course you can stay, I am always down for more children."
"Okay, first of all," Danny began, adjusting his backpack on his shoulder and prying his friends arms off of him. “His son Damian? That kid scares me, he gives off Dash vibes. Did you see how he made that interviewer cry?"
A few months prior, a video had surfaced that showed Damian Wayne insulting a girl who was trying to give him an interview. The two-minute video ended with the girl crying.
"And second of all-" Danny was cut off as he was shoved to the ground. He looked up to see Dash Baxter, a muscular boy with blonde hair.
"Watch where you're going, Fen-freak," Dash sneered, "Before I shove your puny face into a locker!"
Danny gritted his teeth as he sat up. Dash had been picking on him from the beginning of high school. Two years later, he hadn't stopped.
On any other occasion, Danny would have said something in response, but Dash had already continued down the hall.
"Why can't you just zap him or something?" Tucker grumbled. "He's the worst!"
"Yeah, I know," Danny stood up, wiping dust off of his shirt. "But I can't. It isn't right."
"Your moral code is dumb," his friend snapped back.
"If you're going to Gotham," said Sam with a pointed look at Tucker. "Who's gonna be here to help with the ghosts?"
"I've got it covered," Danny replied swiftly, looking up. "Dani's coming down.  It'll be fine. I have to keep Jazz safe, and figure out what Brucie Wayne is up to."
__
"I am sure Father would have a better plan than to invite some under-qualified intern to the Manor."
A seventeen-year-old boy with spiky black hair rolled his eyes. "Damian, she isn't under-qualified. She meets all of the qualifications for the internship."
The first boy, an Arab thirteen-year-old with the same spiky hair and bright green eyes, scoffed. "There is no way a person from some backwater town would have received the internship if we hadn't needed her brother."
Tim Drake and Damian Wayne, the youngest children of Bruce Wayne. Damian currently held the Robin mantle, while Tim used Red Robin. The brothers were in a large cave decked out with a plethora of high-tech equipment.
"Okay, but you think every place outside of Gotham is a backwater town." Tim pointed out as he swiveled his chair to face a massive computer.
"Amity Park is a backwater town. The citizens there are animals," Damian retorted, crossing his arms. "You just cannot see that because you are also a backwater type."
Tim laughed as he realized what the younger boy was basing his opinion on. "Damian, please tell me you haven't generalized an entire city just because of one tourist from Amity Park ran into you and spilled soda on your shirt."
"It was my favorite shirt! And that cretin did not even apologize!" Damian spat. "The nerve!"
"Okay, well, put aside your dumb grudge and think about the objective," Tim responded. "I think, if you look within that thing you call a soul, you can see that letting one intern that you think is under-qualified is worth getting Bruce back."
"Tt. I suppose," Damian admitted begrudgingly. "If this Danny Phantom character truly has the potential to save Father."
"He's the only one who can." Tim reminded him. "We can't get into the Ghost Zone without a ghost, and I don't think any of the ones we've seen so far would be willing to help," He paused. "Plus, don't the Fentons make ghost hunting gear? Who knows, maybe they have a ghost sword."
After a sudden wave of ghost attacks in Gotham, Bruce had poured in countless hours of research to find out as much as he could about ghosts. He had discovered that they came from another dimension and that there was one person who was an expert at fighting them; Danny Phantom of Amity Park. It didn't take very long for him to uncover Phantom's true identity.
"Tim! Dames!" a voice shouted. "My boys!" Tim and Damian looked towards the stairs and saw a taller man with black hair and blue eyes jump the railing of said stairs, landing in the Bat Cave. This was their oldest brother, Dick Grayson, also known as Nightwing. He grinned brightly. "How's it going?"
"Making sure that we have every possible outcome of this mission prepared for." Tim replied as he continued typing on the Bat Computer. Damian nodded.
“Yes, and so I have decided that I shall accompany them on this journey."
"Damian, no." his older brothers said at the same time. Damian scowled.
"Why not? I am plenty capable of-
"Because people would get suspicious if Batman suddenly didn't have a Robin," Dick answered, strolling towards the younger boy. "That's why Jason, Tim, and Stephanie are going. They won't be missed," He gave Tim a nervous look. "No offense."
"None taken," Tim replied, waving his hand. "Sorry Damian, you'd just get in the way."
"But I have died before!" Damian huffed, his hands clenching into fists. "That combined with my skills- which are far greater than yours, Drake, I might add -makes me much more qualified than you."
"Little D, dude, I just told you," Dick ruffled his younger brother's hair. "It'll be suspicious if you're gone. And besides, I need you. We're a great team."
"But my father is in there-"
"Master Damian-" their butler, Alfred Pennyworth, interrupted the trio's squabbling. "You won't be going anywhere until your homework is done."
"Homework? Finding my father is much more important than an essay on why the Roman empire fe-"
"Master Damian." Alfred repeated in a low tone. "Now."
Damian scowled as he trudged up the stairs. It didn't matter how tough the person was. When Alfred told you to do something, you do it. "I will be going with you, Drake!" he called behind his shoulder. "I promise you that!"
Dick and Tim exchanged a glance and rolled their eyes.
"Children."

                                              ———————
The drive home was intense.
The silence being shared from both sides was insufferable and miserable. Both parties equally upset, but by two differing accounts.
It was emotionally charged and it was uncomfortable to sit in, but there was nothing he could do to ease it. Logan had already tried talking to his brother and Virgil had promptly snapped at him and turned his head further in the opposite direction.
Logan sighed through his nose, hands tightening on the steering wheel. “You should have called me.”
“But I didn’t,” Virgil snipped without missing a beat.
“But you should have,” Logan snipped back just as quickly. It wasn’t unlike them to argue, but this was serious. Getting into a fight with someone just because they offended you was being no better than them.
Virgil tugged his hood up further over his head, tucking into himself as best as he could in the limited space the car allowed. “Just drop it, it’s fine.”
“It is not fine.” How many times did they have to have this conversation? “Getting into fights at school is not fine. You’re a junior, you should know better by now.”
“And you should know better than to involve yourself in my life.”
“I’m your older brother, Virgil, what else am I supposed to do?”
“Leave me alone when I want to left alone, fuck. It’s not that hard.”
Once again, they had made absolutely no progress and they were that much closer to home. Their dads weren’t going to be thrilled that Virgil had gotten into another fight, but at least it hadn’t been during school hours this time. That only made it more difficult, though, since Virgil would have to tell them himself and explain the situation.
Or, if that didn’t happen, Logan would tell them as much as he knew about the situation and leave it up to their parents to go from there.
It just occurred to Logan however, that he hadn’t seen Virgil’s face yet. The other’s hood had been pulled up and his face ducked down. Refused to meet Logan’s eyes when he came and picked him up and was now completely turned away from him, the side of his hood concealing that side of his face.
“Virgil look at me,”‌ he instructed, taking his eyes off the road for half a second, seeing if the seventeen-year-old would actually do it or not.
“Fuck off,”‌ was what Logan got back in response.
Having enough of this, Logan flicked on the turn signal and turned off into the nearest parking lot. He ignored the startled noise from the other teen before putting the car in park and twisting in his seat to face him.
“Look at me.”‌ His tone left no room for argument.
“And I‌ said fuck off,”‌ Virgil reached up and grabbed the edges of his hood and made sure to keep a hold of them. “Seems like neither of us are going to get what we want.”
That wasn’t what Logan wanted, but at least his suspicions had been correct. Virgil had been injured in the fight and he didn’t want anyone—especially not Logan or their dads—to see. He didn’t force it though, even if it was extremely frustrating.
“I‌ know you’re hurt,” he said instead, letting his arm rest against the top of the steering wheel, watching for some sort of reaction. “If you let me see, I‌ can help clean you up a little bit before we get home.”
Virgil shook his head. “I‌ don’t need your help,” he hissed. “I’m fine. Let’s just go home.”
“Stop saying you’re fine.” Logan watched Virgil turn his head further away, trying to get out of the conversation, he was having none of it. “You are not fine. You know not to tell me you’re fine, when you’re obviously not.”
“Jesus Christ, fine!”
Logan hadn’t actually expected Virgil to turn to him, but when he did, he took a moment to register what exactly he was looking at. A split lip with dried blood on Virgil’s chin, a bruise beginning to flourish brilliantly on the side of his face and a black eye that was only a dark ring around his left eye at the moment. Blood had dried under Virgil’s nose and the tween looked exhausted.
His baby brother’s face was most likely going to scar because of how deep some of those wounds were.
“It doesn’t hurt as bad as it looks,”‌ he mumbled, his eyes dropping from Logan’s to stare at his knuckles. (Which Logan could see were also brilliantly bruised.)
Virgil was a strong kid and could hold his own, but this was ridiculous.
“Virgil–” Logan started, Virgil cut him off by turning swiftly away again.
His arms wrapped around himself, hood pulled down over his shoulders as his fingers dug into the sleeves of his hoodie. “Don’t.”
“I‌ was just going to—”
“Don’t.”
Instead of trying to say anything more, Logan opened the middle compartment separating their seats and dug through it. He knew there was a packet of baby wipes in here somewhere. When he found the white packet, he pulled it out, shut the compartment and settled it on top. Truthfully, Logan didn’t know how long they had been in here, but he hoped they still held at least a enough moisture to get some of that blood off.
Pa and Dad would freak if they saw Virgil covered in blood like he was. Logan could at least lessen the shock factor by getting some of it off.
So, Logan held out his hand expectantly.
It took a moment, but Virgil noticed. He did something of a double-take before rolling his eyes. “I’m not doing it.”
“Then clean your face yourself.”
Logan knew Virgil’s hands hurt, so if he was smart, he’d take his brother’s offered help. But heaven knows Virgil had a stupid amount of stubbornness within him, so it was possible he’d suffer through it himself. Besides, he had until those knuckles healed to suffer through it himself. The least Logan could offer was sparing it for a little while.
After a second more, Virgil sighed in an over-dramatic fashion. “I‌ hate this and I‌ hate you, it’s embarrassing.” But he leaned forward and put his chin in Logan’s palm.
Logan angled his brother’s face up gently before pulling out a baby wipe and beginning to work at the crusted blood under his nose and around his lips. He winced in sympathy when he rubbed a bit too hard to get the dark red to disappear. “What did they say?”
Logan knew for a fact that Virgil wouldn’t just throw fists. There had to be a reason behind it. There had to have been something said that provoked him enough to hit the idiot who said it.
Virgil refused to meet his eyes. “Said something bad about Dad.”
Logan hummed. He didn’t understand exactly what had set him off though. “You could not have said that more vaguely.”
“They started using the f-slur, alright?” Virgil tried to pull away in a fit of exasperation but Logan held his face carefully still. When Virgil stopped squirming, Logan loosened his hold but didn’t let go. “I‌ kinda blacked out after the first hit and everything else is a blur.”
So, Virgil was defending their Dad. It was probably more of an instinctual reaction than it was anything else. However, Logan knew exactly where Virgil was coming form.
Logan had found himself standing up to people that decided to throw slurs around like they meant nothing. Either thinking they were funny or if they were legitimately trying to hurt someone by saying it. He had never resorted to physical violence, but there had been times where he had caught it very close. Stooping down to their level by knocking their teeth out could be incredibly satisfying, but it also made you look bad yourself.
After finishing up with most of the dried blood on Virgil’s face, Logan pulled back and grabbed his water bottle from the cup holder. It had been in there since that morning, but the water was still cold enough. He passed it over. “Put it against your eye, it should calm the swelling and soothe the pain for a bit.”
Virgil did as he was told after a moment and sunk into the passenger’s seat, keeping his eyes glued on the floor of the car.
“Is there anything else that hurts?” Logan needed to make sure that they wouldn’t need to make a trip to the hospital tonight.
Virgil answered by shaking his head.
However, even though Virgil wouldn’t meet his eyes, Logan could bet he knew the look in them. He was worried about Pa and Dad finding out and getting mad and kicking him out. It was an irrational fear, but it was something that Virgil had convinced himself would happen. If he kept swinging, he’d eventually strike out.
Logan had caught the seventeen-year-old making tallies in a notebook he kept by his bedside. It was something Virgil had been doing since they were children. (They were biological siblings, so they had come from the same parents before being put into the foster care system.)
Every time they went to a new home, Virgil started a new page and marked a tally in a notebook for a wrongdoing.
This habit hadn’t changed over the years and it hadn’t changed after they’d been adopted by Patton and Roman Sanders. Virgil still marked in his book. Logan had almost walked in on him doing it before and the teen had shoved the book under his pillow so fast Logan almost hadn’t known what he’d been holding in the first place.
Their dads didn’t know about this tally book. Logan knew for a fact that it would break Patton’s heart if he did. So, Logan kept it a secret that he knew. It was a personal thing anyway, almost like a diary but all the more hurtful to oneself.
“You’re sure?” Logan prodded, then debated his next words carefully. He’d never been good with emotions, but his baby brother was different. “It doesn’t have to be physical pain, you can talk to me.”
Virgil stayed resolute in his silence.
Well, it seemed they weren’t going to be getting anywhere from here so Logan righted himself in the driver’s seat and did his belt up. Starting the car again, he pulled out of the parking lot and turned back onto the road home. The car was still tense with silence, but it wasn’t as angry as it had been.
Before pulling into the driveway not ten minutes later, Logan noticed that both other vehicles were home as well. Which meant both parents were inside. His eyes flickered down to the clock on the dashboard. Dad had rehearsal in two hours, which meant dinner was most likely going to be on the table within the next hour. It would be enough time to let Virgil clean himself up a bit more and come up with a plan to figure out how to tell the story.
Logan pulled the car into the driveway before shutting the engine off. He took a breath, before turning his head just enough to see Virgil in his peripheral. “I’ll go in first and distract Dad and Pa, alright? Sneak in through the back and get upstairs. Change into some fresh clothes.”
After taking his silence as agreement, Logan moved to get out when Virgil reached over and grabbed him by the wrist. He paused, looking back to him with a questioning look.
“Thanks,”‌ Virgil said, as if it physically pained him to get the words out. “For, you know, not freaking out and tattling.”
“You’re going to have to tell them yourself,”‌ Logan told him, but he softened and took Virgil’s hand in his own before squeezing it reassuringly. “But I can be there when you do, if you want.”
The small appreciative smile he got in return made that warmth flourish for just a moment. Logan then got out of the car, shut the door and went inside.
The least he could do was push the inevitable back for a while.

Can you fight for not only your relationship with Lucas but your state of mind?
Pairings: Ensign Lucas Wolenczak x FemLieutenant!Reader, Commander Jonathan Ford x Lieutenant Lonnie Henderson (only slight)

This is practically a dead fandom now, but I would still like to share my writings with you. If you would like to ask any questions, then by all means just ask! People are probably wondering why I’m still continuing this fic when it gets so little feedback, but it’s purely because I enjoy writing it. It’d a pleasure to be reminiscing in old times.
You were released from the Med Bay that following evening and decided to head straight to the mess hall for a late dinner. After your panic attack that morning, you had found your body returning to normal. The doctor was happy that your symptoms had subsided but had still directed you to go back for daily check ups at 09:00 hours each morning. The blood sample he had taken was still with the UEO’s Science and Health Division, awaiting thorough analysis.
The mess hall was deserted by now, but the cook was kind enough to re-heat a meal for you before he finished for the night. Peace and quiet had finally settled in your chest as you ate slowly, savouring the array of flavours. You took a deep breath, smiled to yourself and glanced around the room. All you could hear was the gentle hum of seaQuest’s turbines. It was always enough to calm you.
Tony Piccolo entered a short while later, just as you were finishing your last couple of mouthfuls.
“Hi, Tony,” you said cheerfully around a mouthful of assorted vegetables.
“How are you feeling?”
“Good, thank you. Better,” you replied, watching him sit opposite you. “I’ve got to try and rest for the next couple of days, doctor’s orders.”
You couldn’t help but notice that Tony seemed uncomfortable, fidgeting with something in his lap. His brown eyes seemed to have a hard time focusing on you.
“Tony? What’s the matter?”
“I…know you’ve been sick…and it’s happened around Lucas, but he wanted me to give you this.” Tony slowly offered you an unsealed envelope with your name on the front. You took it from Tony with apprehension.
“I’ll, umm, read it. Thanks, Tony.” You took a deep breath and opened out the folded paper, seeing Lucas’ familiar penned scrawl.
I thought I’d do this the old-fashioned way for once. I miss you so much, but I know that something has got to give. These last two months have been the best of my life. Thank you. But I’m terrified of letting them go. I know I’ve behaved wrong. I just couldn’t bear the thought of losing you. And I have to. It’ll hurt like hell seeing you every day and knowing we can’t be together. Please don’t leave. I need you in my life, even if only as a friend. No matter what happens, I will always have your back, and most importantly, will always love you. – Lucas.
Tears slipped down your cheeks as you held the letter. The truth, bottom line, simply, you couldn’t be without him in your life either. “I miss him,” you whispered and began to sob.
“You need to go to him,” Tony said softly.
“We could lose our careers!” you exclaimed.
“Does your career mean more than being with the guy you love?”
Lucas was sat on his bunk, staring absently out into the water of the adjoining tank wall. He pictured you, beautiful and graceful, swimming with Darwin, holding on to the dolphin’s fin, gliding through the water. His chest compressed and ached at the mere thought of it.
“Hey, Luke,” Tony’s voice came.
Lucas never even bothered to turn and look, his gaze still locked on the water. He then heard a sweet voice say his name, the voice of the one who caused this pain. Was he imagining it? Then the voice came again, paired with that familiar scent. He turned in confusion to see you standing beside Tony’s bunk, looking up at him with a smile.
Tony backed out of the room, feeling like a third wheel, but accomplished.
Lucas said your name and jumped down from the bunk. You both rushed together, stopping for a brief second to smile, your faces reflecting each other. Then you kissed, both of you groaning upon the impact. Lucas’ hand cupped your face and his other arm curled around your waist, bringing you in flush against him. His want of you was rising and he pulled away sharp. “I need to control myself when I’m with you,” he said, his blue eyes ablaze with lust and passion for you.
Both of you had only been physical a handful of times in your two-month long relationship, and this was out of fear of being caught. Lucas had grown to know his limits when with you, learning so much about what pleased both of you.
You fondly remembered one instance when you had made love in the Moon Pool whilst Darwin was out hunting fish. How could you possibly push all of this away? How long could you maintain the coldness of your façade towards him? The mask of a dedicated officer was slipping. True, you were dedicated to your duty, but your heart and yearning for Lucas was fast trumping that.
Lucas stayed with you that night in your quarters. To hell with the consequences, you had thought. And you made love for the first time in two weeks. The pace was slow, deep and passionate. As Lucas came, he groaned against your neck and told you he loved you.
“And I love you,” you whispered, kissing him softly.
You both remained together, basking in the afterglow of your intimacy. You lay facing each other beneath the warm blanket on your bed.
“Would you really give up your career for this if you had to?” you asked.
Lucas merely smiled and looked down. “I thought my answer to that would have been obvious.”
“I never imagined I’d ever be that to someone,” you said. “Least of all, someone like you.”
“Why do you say that?”
“You’ve got so much to lose, so much more than my ex fiancée ever did, but you still fight for me. He never did.”
“You were engaged?” Lucas asked in shock.
“It’s a part of my life that I rarely talk about. I was engaged when I was seventeen, and then we split just before I enlisted. He apparently fell out of love with me, but the truth is, I don’t think either of us were ever in love. It was just a relationship of convenience. I’ve had to rely on myself since, and myself alone. Maybe I want someone to look after me now.”
“I’ve got you,” Lucas told you, taking you in his arms. “I’d give all of this up in a heartbeat, my rank and seaQuest, so I could stay with you.”
As Lucas slept behind you, his arm draped over you, you began to think on the true reasons you’d submitted the transfer request. And there was still one question that needed to be asked. Did you do it to save Lucas’ career, or your own? It struck as both an act of selfish need and a need of selfless compassion. Which drive had been the strongest of the two? Or was it possibly a subconscious act of self-sabotage? A test to see how far Lucas would go for you? One thing was certain, if it was indeed a test intended for Lucas, he had passed with flying colours. None of it would let you rest. The questions, shame and self-hatred manifested more intensely as time went by that night.
You slipped out of bed a while later, your mind still racing. You had to force your hand to your mouth to stop Lucas being woken by your gasps.
You’re selfish. You did this just to save your own career, not Lucas’. You don’t love him. You’re just enjoying the thrill of him running around after you like a lost puppy.
The voice was growing stronger, becoming almost audible, almost real inside your head.
Lucas will find out and despise you. You’re selfish. You only pretend to care, when in actual fact you do everything just for yourself. Lucas deserves a beautiful girl, not an ugly, disgusting bitch like you, paying lip service to everyone just to make yourself look good.
It was after midnight when you stood in the calm atmosphere of the Moon Pool. Tears dripped into the tank as you stroked Darwin’s head. The dolphin knew something was wrong, sensing your turmoil. He bumped your hand, his squeals untranslated while the vocorder remained in its charging dock. His all-knowing eyes watched you in curiosity and suddenly you dropped backwards.
Fuck! Even Darwin knows! I’m a fake.
Panic struck you, the terror hitting you so hard like a hurricane. Thoughts and emotions swirled around you, a tornado of self loathing and hatred. You could feel your skin crawling, the sensation of bugs moving, becoming stronger. Until it all became too much and you lost consciousness, that feeling of dizziness pulling you under.
Lucas woke to see you gone and instantly jumped out of your bed, feeling a churn in his stomach. Something was wrong. He didn’t know how he knew it, but he did. He dashed out into the hallway to see Darwin hovering in the tank, his head moving in the way it always did when he was trying to ask for someone to follow.
Lucas followed Darwin back to the Moon Pool and rushed in, finding your body stretched out across the floor.
“Oh, no,” he whispered, getting down onto the ground next to you.
***
You opened your eyes to find yourself in the Med Bay; everything was empty and silent. There was only the beeping of the machines next to your bed. Wires were connected to you, keeping track of your heartbeat. The room was too silent for your liking, until a shadow began to move towards you. It was formless, only the outline of a person. It was hovering a few inches above the floor and moved towards you. As much as you wanted to scream, nothing came out of your mouth, not even breath. Every part of your body froze rigid and gradually the form began to develop, turning into a horrid creature. It had black eyes, fangs and blood dripping from its mouth. Its claws were outstretched, reaching for you.
The monitor next to you began to beep faster and faster. Until the doctor raced back in and saw you sat bolt upright in bed, your eyes wide and focused upon an area in front of you at the foot of the bed.
“Lieutenant?” he called. “Lieutenant?!”
No answer. Nothing else around you mattered, only the space before you.
The beeping got faster, until you dropped down on the bed and began to have a seizure. Your body contorted and your eyes rolled back in your head.
“What’s happening?” Lucas shouted, racing back in with a cup of coffee. He stood next to you, his hand brushing through your hair whilst he was on the verge of tears. He said your name over and over. “It’s okay. I’m here. I won’t leave you.”
“Please, move away, Ensign,” the doctor ordered, holding a syringe.
Finally, your body stopped convulsing and you went calm. The sedative relaxed your muscles, and you drifted into a dreamless sleep, for a short while. Your breathing and heart rate returned to normal, the beeping of your bedside monitor becoming less and less.
“What happened to her?” Lucas asked, stricken by fear and concern.
“She had a seizure. It seemed to be panic induced. I want to give her a full scan, see if there’s any signs of underlying epilepsy,” the doctor said. He looked almost a panicked as Lucas. “I’ve never seen this before, that’s if all her symptoms are linked and the same thing.”
“What are you going to do for her?” Lucas asked.
“Keep her sedated for a few hours and then gradually let her wake. The panic she was suffering was intense fear. Before you came into the room, she was bolt upright, eyes wide. She was looking at something there.” The doctor pointed to the space where you had been staring earlier.
Captain Hudson soon came to the Med Bay, his eyes darting to Lucas as soon as he entered the room. The scene before Hudson made a lump rise in his throat; his youngest crew member, Ensign Wolenczak, sitting with his head bowed in silence, his hand in yours, resting on the edge of your bed.
“How is she, Ensign?” Hudson asked.
Lucas jolted, startled by the Captain’s entrance. “Umm, the doctor has had to sedate her. She begun having hallucinations and had a seizure.” Lucas’ voice broke and he swallowed hard, staring at your pale face. He could see your eyes moving beneath your eyelids and he prayed that whatever you were dreaming was bringing you peace, not terror.
Hudson pulled a chair across and sat opposite your bed, looking across at Lucas, who quickly brushed tears away from his face with back of his hand. “I’m ….s…sorry, Sir,” he stuttered.
“Lucas?” the Captain asked. “It’s okay. She’ll get through this. She’s a fighter, and whatever is causing this, we’ll find a way to cure it.”
“Umm, can I stay with her, Sir?” Lucas asked. “I know that we’re not…”
Hudson felt a sudden surge in shame for his actions and sighed. “Take as long as you need, Ensign.”

A few pointers and references:
UEO - United Earth Oceans Organisation; this is the organisation that owns seaQuest and governs underwater territories.
Darwin/vocorder/Lucas backstory - Darwin the dolphin has his whistles and squeals translated by a machine called a vocorder which was designed and created by Lucas Wolenczak (pronounced Wo-len-check), who is a genius and graduated from Stamford University at 16 and was put on the seaQuest by his father to work as a computer analyst.
Dagwood - he is a GELF, commonly called a ‘dagger’ in the series. They were genetically engineered people who were used a lot in serving humankind.

Seventeen’s Woozi - General Reading
Seventeen’s Woozi is very self-conscious about his height and his appearance. He feels that he loses out a lot based on his appearance, especially for love. To make up for that, he tries to be the “perfect” lover and tries harder than others to “earn” his place.
Woozi is also a frequent ghost writer and ghost choreographer. He does more ghost writing than known for many kpop groups, including the top ones. Woozi feels like he doesn’t want to remain a “ghost”. His biggest dream is to start his own label and to be kind of like Jay Park. He wants to be known more for his own works. Woozi, however, is conflicted about ending his contract with Pledis earlier. He is worried he won’t have enough financial backing to go solo like Zico has/Jay Park has. Woozi has about 40% chance of breaking his contract earlier.
Woozi, in a relationship, is quite self-conscious. He has low self-confidence and often doubts himself. He is often worried whether his partner is being faithful or not. He is the type to message his partner a lot and want to spend a lot of time with them, but he does still pick work over love. Woozi doesn’t get into many serious and long-term relationships because he is afraid of getting hurt. He has been hurt once a long time ago and he doesn’t want to experience the feeling of betrayal again.
Woozi is often attracted to people who are already in love with someone else and that someone else is usually a friend of his or someone else in the group. Woozi is often the one that’s friend zoned and helps his friends/members get with the person he likes. He isn’t the type to fight for love because he already thinks he won’t be able to win due to his looks and height.
Woozi will likely get married in 2030 - 2032. It takes him time to find someone that he wants to be with and that they are willing to settle down with him. He will be with someone that has also been hurt many times in the past by “better looking” people, so they feel more secure with Woozi. They will be sensitive and outgoing. They will be optimistic and naïve. They are not very responsible with work or money. They are fun to be around and popular. They will likely be someone who is connected to the celeb world, likely not a celeb though. They do have many celebrity friends.

Rwby OC Monologue I was daydreaming about
...You know, my parents were teachers. Not weapons experts or anything, they just taught Science and English at the local school. You know, the one for people with actual jobs? Anyways. From the moment I was born, they told me I needed to separate truth from lies. I believed them.
Being who we are, the only Ankylos left, we needed to understand people. I needed to protect myself- that’s why I ended up at Beacon. Turn this target on my back into a literal shield. But I needed a shield against people, too. They’re not like Grimm. A Grimm is always trying to kill you. A person lets you think you can trust them.
Growing up in Goldreach, we only really had Blip Academy- not quite Signal, but taught me enough to get by. We had this one professor- Nires, I’ll never forget him- who tried to take me under his wing. Anyways, one day he asks me to stay behind, says he sees potential in me. I agree. Something in the back of my mind tells me something’s wrong, but hey, anything to get into Beacon.
And then I’m about to walk into the training hall, and something flares up. Like, my Aura untwists itself, and my eyes burn. I walk in and I just... Know. I see him standing in the middle. I’m in danger. He’s planning to hand me over to- well, that’s not important.
Anyways, I cause enough of a commotion that he’s taken out of the picture. Cool. I think. I can read thoughts. Sense feelings. Something like that.
And it’s great! I can feel what others feel! I can navigate social situations with ease, and being so quick to get my semblance, I start doing great in combat training. But then something else happens.
Well, two things. First, people start avoiding me. Makes things a bit weird when you know what someone’s thinking. When I was a kid I used to answer people’s thoughts by accident- made it weird when Claylis was thinking of asking me out before we left. Shit like that. But I found that I could read myself. Too much of myself.
I had to be looking into a mirror to do that, so it was kinda easy to avoid, all things considered. Easy enough to ignore. Except for those eight numbers.
03/03/2032. A date. Way in the future. Sometimes it changed- got closer, got further, who cares though? What does that mean?
I figured it out soon. Fight in a house of mirrors. Big carnival. It got too much, and I nearly died.
That was four years ago. Eighth of September, 2026. I almost died. Aura depleted. Bleeding. Barely survived. And the date in the corner of my vision changed eerily close.
September Eighth. Twenty Twenty-six.
I’ve had a ticking clock over my head for four years. A countdown to my death. Only way I knew I’d survive the fall of beacon, I knew I had another time to die.
Well, we’re a year and a half away from that now. Big ol’ shield on my back, one in each hand, and I know exactly when I’ll die. So long as I’m not stupid.
So, you want me to stick around? I’m not gonna do that to you. I’m not putting you through my planned obsolescence. You’ve given me names and faces, and that’s all I’ll need to help out. Now unless you wanna give me a really good reason to waste the next... Seventeen days, six months and a year chasing fairy tales of relics and maidens, instead of getting rid of Salem’s lackeys, I have a date.

The First Little bit of the new AOS fic I'm going to try to write.
June 2032
In one of the few remaining places in the universe, what looks to be a steel bunker, three teenager best friends are standing together staring at a screen; seventeen-year-old Alya Fitzsimmons, thirteen-year-old Robin Hinton and thirteen year old Morgan Stark may only be young, but they have seen a lot, they know a lot, which results in all four of them seeming a lot older than they are; they are wise beyond their years.
“Another one?” Alya asks looking at the screen which Morgan is editing, and she can’t help but frown what appears.
“Another one,” Morgan says, turning away from the screen to look at her friends, looking incredibly concerned as she knows how bad this is.
“It shouldn’t be happening this fast,” Robin says, also frowning.
“We can’t predict this, not even you,” Morgan tells her friend.
“Which is exactly why we’ve got to act,” Robin says, looking between her two best friends, knowing that they need to have this conversation, the conversation they have been avoiding.
“No, we’re not there yet,” Alya argues as she doesn’t want to consider it until they have no other option.
“If not now then when? When another five universes are gone? Ten? Twenty?” Robin asks. “We’re running out of time, if we are going to do this we need to start preparing,” Robin tells the others.
“Even for us it’s going to take months to create what we need to create,” Morgan reminds Robin.
“Which is exactly why we can’t waste a second,” Robin argues, feeling frustrated as due to her powers it feels like they are stuck in a loop.
“Look, I love you Robin, but we both know that because you can see across multiple timelines, across multiple universes, your visions can sometimes be hard to interpret,” Alya reminds her friend, who honestly doesn’t need the reminder, doing so in the kindness way possible. “How can you be sure that this is what we should do?”
“Because it’s the only solution I can see,” Robin admits. “I know what I’m suggesting, I get what it will mean, and believe me I know how difficult it will be, but the multiverse is collapsing around us. I don’t know what other option we have,” Robin says. Thanks to her visions she has seen multiple outcomes of what happens next, and all but one will end in complete destruction of everything.
“It’s not just up to us,” Morgan says. “I’ll go get the others, if we’re really going to have a conversation about this then we all need to be apart of it,” Morgan says and after seeing both Alya and Robin nod she heads out of the room.
After Morgan leaves the room Robin walks several steps closer to Alya because she doesn’t need her powers to tell her why Alya is so against this plan.
“You really hate this idea,” Robin says to Alya, it being a statement and not a question.
“They’ve sacrificed so much; they’ve saved timelines and universes’ so many times. They’ve finally earned their retirement and we’re asking them to do it all again,” Alya says. “I don’t know, it feels like too much,” Alya admits, looking torn.
“If we do this, we won’t be collecting all of them from after that last mission,” Robin tells Alya, as she knows that they need members of the team from specific points.
“That’s not much better,” Alya admits and as she does Robin gives her an understanding look and takes a step towards her.
“I know why this is hard for you, I understand more than anyone,” Robin admits, and her understanding isn’t thanks to her powers. “Do you think I like the idea of bringing mum back into all this? Of causing her the pain I know she’s going to feel seeing Coulson alive again, facing the possibility of losing him again? Because I don’t,” Rob admits, as due to the fact that she can see across multiple timelines, multiple universes she still considers Melinda May to be her mother, and she always will. “But I don’t see another way and when I’m the one saying that you know…” Robin starts to say.
“That there is no other way,” Alya says, and they drift into silence, both thinking about the consequences of what they may end up doing, and just how huge what they are asking is.
Let me know what you think

Personality:
Rei is a very lively and playful person resulting from having to grow up from such a young age alongside his twin brother. Despite being born only 10 minutes apart, he still very much acts like an older brother to Tai a lot of times. Yes, he uses that against Tai way more than he cared to admit, but it’s all out of fun. No matter how much he teases and makes fun of his twin brother, he will always be protective of him and will definitely take a bullet for him no matter what.
He’s quite a social butterfly underneath the soft and calm exterior that he displays. He quite literally thrives in chaos and enjoys being surrounded by it a bit more than one really should. It was only expected from a duo like his twin brother and him.
Other than that, he is also quite charming and charismatic, pulling admirers left and right, but not really settling and getting serious with anyone in particular, especially if they were unable to tell the twins apart properly, which was really hard seeing that they are identical and only had very little differences visually and physically. Despite not being picky with food, he was picky with people he beds and meets.
As far as his line of work, he was good with his hands and what he did with his brother. In addition to that, he could craft chemical weapons precisely which was supplemented with his fascination with science early on in life. When he’s alone, he is a decent hitman, but with Tai and his intelligence partnered with his knowledge of forensics, they are quite a team. Their jobs are clean and are mostly spotless with a dash off both their antics and experiments in their execution of the plans they initially had.
Background:
[Codename Rei]
Rei was born the older of the identical twins by ten minutes. Barely cried as he came out, only to cry more later on when his twin brother, Tai, came to join him in the world. He always held that fact over Tai’s head and used it against him whenever he could growing up. Though, they never really fought against each other, and in fact, they had actually got along way better than some siblings had.
They grew up barely making by with their parents livelihoods not able to really provide for two children. They weren’t expecting twins when they got pregnant and it wasn’t a choice for the couple to lose their children either after trying so hard to conceive. Life may not be easy with the lack of funds and situation in life but their parents did their best to bring them up properly and send them to school when they came of age.
[Silent Assassin]
Despite their young age, they’ve been made aware of their standing in life and society. They were poor and scraping by with what they’ve got. It was one of the ways that their parents knew to humble their children; by letting them know what they had and why it was the way it is for them. It worked for most things, but not for everything. It was also around this time that the shortage happened, which only made their situation even worse.
Rei had a particularly huge liking towards Pokemon and that was one of the things that pushed them towards their first theft at the young age of ten. He had wanted the pokeball keychain that made sounds and lit up whenever the button in the middle was pressed. The problem was that the particular keychain was hanging on a classmate’s backpack, and knowing they don’t have the money to spare for the keychain, he had stared and sighed to his brother about how cool it was and how he had wanted it.
Later in the day, the keychain went missing and no one batted an eyelash as there was no talks about theft, but only that it may have been dropped on his way to school. Rei was able to keep the keychain even if he couldn’t bring it to school. He then noticed that the keychain was easily replaced the following day, so from then, he knew that they got away with what they had done.
The second theft came quick as Tai eyed a nice gold bracelet hanging around one of their schoolmate’s wrist. She was from a different class, but still the same grade and shared recess with the them. The plan was one would distract and the other would take the bracelet off. Tai was a lot better with talking to people so he distracted while Rei took the bracelet off of her. It was risky and dangerous seeing how he would have to make sure that she wouldn’t notice. Though, it seemed that he was able to pull it off on his third try as he kept almost getting caught.
[Contracts]
Petty thefts turned into things more grand as they grew older. At first they were just small trinkets that Rei liked to keep, but most were ones they had sold to others so that they can bring in some money home. The money was just kept between the two of them due to the fact that they did not want to risk their parents getting angry when all they wanted to do was help.
So, they decided that when they’ve saved up a huge sum of money, they could just put it in an envelope and put it in their mailbox for their parents to find. It was the easiest way for them to be able to provide some help for their family, especially in their situation growing up. It may not be much as they are still in their early teens, but it was enough to help out even with just putting food on the table.
By the time that they were fifteen, they’ve gotten more and more luxurious items with how well they’ve worked together. Being twins helped out a lot of the times, but it was both their skills that pulled them through almost always whenever they try to get anything that caught their sights. Rei had also started to steal less for himself and more for profit when he grew older.
[Blood Money]
A particular transaction that turned their lives around was from a stolen phone that contained important contacts and information on it. Selling it to the black market would get them more than the reward that was being posted for it, so that’s what they had decided to do.
Though, things don’t always go as planned, and things started getting heated when the buyer started trying to haggle the price for the phone when they knew that it was most likely worth more than what they are even asking for it because the black market usually priced things lower than its face value.
A fight broke when Rei put his foot down, letting them know that the price was firm or there wouldn’t be a sale between the parties, which the buyer did not like at all. A knife was pulled and the first thought on Rei’s mind was to step in front of his twin brother. He tried to calm the situation down by talking to the guy, but seeing how the man was acting, he knew reasoning was falling on deaf ears. He still did not want to sell the phone for a lower price.
With words thrown back and forth continuously, it was only a matter of time when the man decided to lounge at him, in which he had stepped aside and with Tai who went to the other side of the man, they were able to trap him, and in the act of self-defense, they ended up killing the man.
They were only sixteen years old, but they were tall and were a bit more built for their age and had prepared to fight if things got out of hand at times as a precaution. They never really expected things to go this far, but at the time, they knew they were only protecting themselves and in addition, they had realized that they were able to keep the phone and take the money. This could be easily staged as a robbery, and so they got to work with each other reassuring that they only did what they had to.
[Absolution]
Killing was always the last thing to come to their mind when deals don’t go as they planned. Most of them just ended up either giving up and paying what they asked for, or they try to make it seem like they aren’t interested anymore due to the high price and buying it anyways when the twins tried to leave due to the value it held.
But things still go rocky for the two as they continued to sell stolen artifacts, and unfortunately they had ended up killing two more people by the time they turned seventeen. One during the spring of 2032, and the other happened during the winter of the same year. Both deals, they got the better side of with not losing what they were selling and getting to keep the money for it and some more.
Though, what they did not realize then was that those two people that they had ended up killing were people being watched by a gang. They both had been on the gang’s hitlist for various reasons, which they were completely unaware of.
With the two being successful in eliminating people from their hitlist without doing anything, eyes were put on the two, watching them from afar, especially with the fact that they didn’t even need to do anything to evade the authorities with how well they had staged the kills after they had done them.
By the following year, on 2033, they were approached by someone from the gang Taurus. They were given an offer of protection and money for their family that they couldn’t refuse. For one, protection from the authorities would lessen the risk of their parents ever finding out about what the two had been up to. Other than that, it would give them peace of mind that their family was protected and they would be able to provide for their family better, albeit in a more gruesome way than they had initially planned.
In their parents eyes, they are both interns that concerned their majors in college that paid pretty well, so there was no question when they had moved into their own apartment by the age of eighteen after their first year of college.
Rei had found a fascination with biology and chemistry when he was in high school and had found so many ways that it could be beneficial for when they are protecting themselves when they used to steal and sell things in the black market. What was once something defensive had turned offensive with the shift of their ‘occupation’ upon accepting Taurus’ offer.
While he forged chemical weapons, looked for ways on how they can make deaths seem natural, or get rid of a body completely, Tai was the brains of their operation working out how they will make it either look like an accident or cover their tracks completely. They were a deadly duo, and their synergy was incomparable to anything.
