Summary: You came with a warning label…He ignored it

Warning⚠️ :Cursing,mentioning of violence and suicide, and terrible ending?

You always caught Seungkwan’s attention, and his friends noticed that. When ever you walked into the room you had his undivided attention.

You had a reputation going around and it wasn’t a good one. 

He doesn’t know why you were so bad to people. Nobody ever told him. It was always the same thing

“Stay away from her”

“She’s bad news”

“You don’t want to deal with her”

“I’d look away if I were you”

“She’s trouble dude”

But why? Why were these things said about you?

It was Thursday morning which meant Seungkwan had class by himself. On Thursdays he was the only one out of his friends that had classes.

He only had two classes today. One with you.

He got there on time as always and waited for class to start.

Soon class was starting. Seungkwan looked around and you weren’t there. You were late. You were always late to this class and Seungkwan wondered why?

“Mind your business Seungkwan. And pay attention”

He thought to himself. But soon you entered his thoughts again when you walked into the classroom. You close the door and gave the professor a head nod.

The professor gave you a head nod and you went to your seat.

“She’s literally always late” a girl in front of Seungkwan says

“Yeah and Mr.Sim never says anything! But when we’re late we get an earful” the other girl says

“What if they’re sleeping with each other and that’s why he never says anything?”

“Oh my gosh! That bitch she’s sleeping with Mr.sim!”

Seungkwan wanted to put a stop to those girls and their rumors.

“Hey! You shouldn’t be talking about her! Stay out of her business” seungkwan says

“Why? You sleeping with her to?” The girl asks with a stank face

“Hey! She’s not sleeping with him and neither am I!! your acting like a snobby asshole! Stop talking about that girl and take your notes!” Seungkwan says

The girls roll their eyes and turn around in their seats.

From your seat you heard the little argument. You mentally thanked seungkwan for defending you. You would have thanked him verbally but you didn’t want him to get any bad rep for even speaking to you.

Seungkwan was a good guy. You liked him but you’d keep you distance

After class you collected your things and was about to walk out when someone grabbed your arm. You look back seeing seungkwan

“What?” You asks

“Those Uh girls think your sleeping with Mr.sim” he says

“So what?” You asks

“So what? Those girls spread rumors don’t you want to clear it up?” He asks

“I don’t give a fuck now leave me alone” you say snatching your arm and walking away

Hopefully that would get him to leave you the hell alone

At lunch seungkwan sat alone watching as you sat by yourself. He decided to suck it up and got up to sit with you

You look up from your cup of noodles and frown

“What do you want Seungjay?” You asks

“It’s seungkwan and you know that” he says smirking

“What.do you. Want” you ask again

“You look like you need a friend and so do I!” He says smiling

“I don’t need a friend. And you don’t need a friend like me” you say standing up with your things and leaving

Seungkwan sat where you left him with a frown on his face. Just because you said what you said…now you had no choice but to be his friend.

Later that day he went back home to his dorm coming up with a plan.

“Hey seungkwan how was class?” Jeonghan asks

“It was great what do you know about Yn?” He asks

“Yn? The pretty girl with the afro?” He asks

“Mhm” seungkwan says nodding

“Uh nothing. Nothing at all” Jeonghan says shrugging

“I talked to her today” seungkwan says causing Jeonghan to stop what he was doing looking a seungkwan with wide eyes

“You…talked to her?” He asks

“Yeah…she was an asshole but we talked” Seungkwan says smiling

“Uh seungkwan stay away from that girl. She’s a walking fire hazard” Jeonghan says

“Why?” Seungkwan asks

“Doesn’t matter…she’s bad news” Jeonghan says walking away before seungkwan could speak again

What was up with everyone and what did they have against you?

The next morning you got up for your last class of the week. You only had four classes today. You just wanted to get it over with so you can get back to your house for a nap

“Ynie!”

“Yes mama?” You turn around addressing your grandmother

“On your way home could you please take these Apples over to Mr.lee” she asks

“Mama? You picked these? You shouldn’t be reaching” you say taking the bag of apples

“Oh girl hush and go before your late” she says pushing you to the door

“Okay love you Mama” you say leaving

As you were walking seungkwan spotted you and almost ran when he forgot he was walking with somebody

“Ah you guys go ahead I’ll catch up” seungkwan says running away before his friends could say anything

“Where are you going?” Dino asks

Seungkwan runs over to you wrapping his arms around you.

“Yn!” He says smiling

“Get off me Seungjay!” You say

“It’s half of my name…I’ll take it!” Seungkwan says smiling

“Why are you walking with me your friends went that way” you ask pointing

“Cause you walk alone like everyday” seungkwan says

“So what? Why are you talking to me? Aren’t you like scared of me?” You asks

“Why would I be scared of someone so cute?” Seungkwan asks

You scoff and speed walk trying to get away from him.

Through the day seungkwan was around you. He even made you lunch. Seeing as Your grandma didn’t make you lunch today you took it(yes you did say thank you). After class you went to take the apples to Mr.Lee

“Hey where you going?” Seungkwan asks

“Run some errands for my mama” you mumble

“Who?” You asks

“My grandmother” you say

“Oh…can I come?” He asks

“No! Seungkwan go.home.” You say rolling your eyes

“Awww you finally said my name!” He says smiling

You groan as he latches onto your arm

In the end you got tired of him asking and allowed him to come with you.

As you got to Mr.Lee’s house you opened the sliding door taking off your shoes and seungkwan followed suit

“Mr.Lee! It’s Yn” you say walking into the house

“Bubbles! That you?” He asks coming around the corner

“Yes Mr.lee how are you? Did you water your plants?” You asks putting your bag next to the door

“Yes I did that you how’s your grandmother?” He asks

“She’s fine she won’t sit down though” you say opening your bag to grab the apples

“You already know how that dang Johnny-may is” he says making you laugh

“Yes I do she told me to give you these apples” you say handing him the bag

Seungkwan was shocked with this interaction. You were so nice and soft. Why were you considered a warning label?

“Tell her I said thank you! You and your friend have a goodnight” the man says waving at seungkwan

Seungkwan smiles with a wave and bow. You two turn around to the door putting on your shoes and leaving

“So where are you going now?” Seungkwan asks

“Home” you say

“Can I come?” Seungkwan asks

“Why do you want to be around me?” You asks

“Cause your nice!” He says smiling

“No! Go home” you say

“Well I’m just going to follow you” seungkwan says

“Your such a creep” you say rolling your eyes

And he was right. He followed you home. He seen a beautiful woman with dark skin and grey hair. She looked so young was this your mother?

“Yn!” She says smiling

You open the gate with this biggest smile on your face

“Hi mama!” You say wrapping your arms around her

“How was class and did Mr.lee like those apples?” She asks

“It was fine and you know Mr.lee loves your fresher pick apples” you say making her laugh. She notices seungkwan standing at the gate. He was in a stand steel

“Is that your friend?” She asks

You turn around looking at seungkwan who looked so damn awkward. You turn around with a small smile

“Yes. We go to the same college” you say

“Well he’s cute is he staying for dinner?” Your grandmother asks. You groan and sigh. We’re you really about to ask this boy this?

“Uh seungkwan do you want to stay for dinner?” You asks making seungkwan smile big

“Of course! Hello ma’am I’m seungkwan” seungkwan says walking closer to the porch

“Hi sweetheart! I’m Johnny-may! Yn’s grandmother but you can call me Mama” your grandmother says shocking seungkwan

“Grandmother? Are you sure your not her mother?” Seungkwan asks making your grandmother laugh

“I’m sure honey” she says smiling standing up from her seat telling seungkwan to come inside

Up until dinner seungkwan watched Yn in her domain. She was smiling and giggling something she never did at school

She was soft and warm, helping her Grandmother. She was happy. Why couldnt she be like this at school?

“Something to drink?”

Seungkwan looks up seeing Yn giving her a confused look

“Huh?”

“Do you want something to drink?” Yn asks

“Uh yeah what do you have?” Seungkwan asks

“Ya know water, apple juice, strawberry milk, banana milk?” Yn says shrugging

“You have a lot of juice!” Seungkwan says chuckling

“Yeah papa likes juice” Yn says giggle

“Papa?” Seungkwan asks

“My son, her father he’s very ill right now and is in the hospital” Yn’s grandmother says placing a plate of food in front of seungkwan

“Is he okay?” Seungkwan asks

“He will be” Yn says sitting down at the table

Yn obviously didn’t want to speak more on the matter so seungkwan let it alone ate and change the topic of conversation

A few months later…

Some how seungkwan became yn’s bestfriend . After he had dinner with Yn and her grandmother he just kept coming around and yn’s grandmother loved it. She was always asking when he was coming back over or just asking about him over all. He didn’t make it any better always talking to her so Yn caved in and hung around him. He was the only one who wanted to be around Yn and she liked it just a bit but she wouldn’t make it known to him

Yn was in her room getting dressed in her room when she heard seungkwan loud ass coming into the house

“Afternoon Mama!” Seungkwan says making Yn roll her eyes

Yn grabbed a black jacket and her purse and walked downstairs

“Yn should be coming down any minute-oh there she is!” Yn’s grandmother says smiling

Seungkwan turns around mount opening and closing like a fish

“What?” You ask

“N-nothing you just…you look beautiful” Seungkwan says making Yn stiff.

“S-shut up and let’s go” Yn mumbles making seungkwan smirk knowing if the brown skin girl could blush should would

“Y’all be careful now!” Yn’s grandmother says

“We will!” Seungkwan says

Today seungkwan was dragging Yn around. They both only had two classes today but that was later in the day so seungkwan Decided he’d take Yn out.

He took her out for breakfast, the park, and they went into a record store looking at the old and vintage CD’s and vinyls

The record store even had a photo booth and of course seungkwan dragged Yn into the booth to take pictures she was totally(not) apposed to

“We look cute” Seungkwan says pointing at the picture strip

“Yeah whatever” Yn says shrugging

“Hey! Stop with this tuff girl act we’ve been friends for a few months now I know you and you totally love these pictures” Seungkwan says

“If you say so let’s go I’m hungry” Yn says leaving the shop with seungkwan In tow

They both decided on a near by cafe to get something to drink. Once they received their drinks and snacks they went back to the park just to chill until class

“Yn?” Seungkwan asks

“Yes Seungjay” she says making seungkwan giggle

“Why doesn’t anybody speak to you?” Seungkwan asks making Yn sigh

“Obviously I’m an outcast” she says shrugging

“But why?” Seungkwan asks

“I don’t even know myself” she mumbles

It didn’t make sense to him. Yn was a nice and sweet girl people weren’t just not liking her for no reason?

“Yn look at me” Seungkwan says making Yn look in his direction.

He puts his drink down grabbing her hands before smiling at her

“I like you. A lot” Seungkwan says

“I guess I tolerate you to an extent” Yn says smirking

“No Yn. I’m serious. I like you like you. I want to be your boyfriend” seungkwan says making Yn’s jaw drop

“Seungkwan I’m not playing with you right now” she says rolling her eyes snatching her hand away. She stands up ready to leave but Seungkwan stops her again

Yn had slowly developed feelings for Seungkwan but she knew he wouldn’t feel the same so she tried to bury them down and here he is playing with her.

“I’m not playing a game Yn. I like you I wouldn’t have spent all this time with you if I didn’t” seungkwan says

“You spent time with me because you felt sorry for me” Yn says rolling her eyes

“I’ve spent time with you because I love you!” Seungkwan says making Yn stop breathing. Seungkwan steps a little closer to Yn before Placing his hand on her cheek

“I’ve felt this way for a while…I just wanted us to get closer before I confessed this” seungkwan says

“Prove it” Yn says

“Huh?”

“Prove it…prove that you like me” Yn says

“Gladly”

Seungkwan leans in connecting his and Yn’s lips together. The kiss wasn’t rushed. It was sweet

Once the two pulls away Yn was stunned.

“That’s my prof…I’m not going around kissing any and everybody” seungkwan says

Slowly Yn’s eyes started to well up with tears. She had been in Korean since she was 16 years old and nobody had even dared to speak to her. The fact that she had someone like seungkwan made her cry

She wraps her arms around his neck sobbing quietly in his neck

“Don’t leave me okay?” She whispers

“Be my girlfriend and I’ll never leave your side” seungkwan says rubbing her back

“Okay!” Yn whispers squeezing him

“FINALLY! I knew you two would be together eventually” Yn’s grandmother says making Yn groan

“Mama please” she mumbles

“Come on mama you know I had to snatch her up” seungkwan says

“I know that’s right!” Yn’s grandmother says making seungkwan laugh and Yn roll her eyes

“Now y’all get to class or y’all gonna be late” she says pushing them out the door

The now new couple walked around campus hand in hand. Yn had her hand down curls covering her face. Seungkwan happily held her hand while Yn was nervous from all the looks they received

“Are you coming over for dinner?” Yn asks

“We’re a couple now…I’m coming over for dinner every night” Seungkwan says making Yn giggle

“Come on I’ll walk you to class” seungkwan says grabbing her hand placing a kiss on it

Yn had butterflies and it was a new feeling to her. It felt weird. She wasn’t use to it. But she liked it and she wasn’t complaining

“Hey!”

Yn and Seungkwan turn around seeing Hari and Nami. The two girls who started the rumor about Yn sleeping with the professor

“Yes?” Seungkwan asks

“What are you doing with freako?” Hari asks

“Excuse me?“ Yn says

“You heard her! Is she your girlfriend”Nami asks

“She is what about it?” Seungkwan asks

“Why do you want to be with her?” Nami asks

“You know that girl is violent” Hari says smirking

“Hey stop!” Seungkwan says causing a crowed

“Seungkwan stop” Yn mumbles

“You haven’t heard? You want to know why she’s an outcast?” Hari asks

“Stop!” Yn says

“Oh no! Don’t stab me too” Hari says smirking

“Stab? What is she talking about?” Seungkwan asks

“Nothing let’s just go!” Yn says grabbing seungkwan’s arm

“You don’t know? This freak stabbed her dad that’s why he’s in the hospital. He even tried to kill himself because he can’t stand to look at her knowing his own daughter was out to get him” Nami says

The crowd around started to gasp and whisper

Yn couldn’t take it. She just ran away.

“That’s a lie and you know it” seungkwan says

“I heard the professors talking about it so you tell me if it’s a lie” Nami says smirking

Seungkwan shakes his head before running off behind yn

“Yn!yn!YN!” Seungkwan says finally catching up with her

“What seungkwan!” Yn asks turning around face red from crying so hard

“Why are you crying?” He asks

“Why am I crying? Those bitches made up a whole story about me and people believe it. You wonder why people kept telling you to stay away? That’s why! They think I’m a murderer” Yn says wiping her face with her dress sleeve

“It’s not true though…is it?” Seungkwan asks

“Of course not!” Yn says sighing

It was quiet before Yn spoke again

“Let me guess… you don’t want to be with me anymore” Yn asks rolling her eyes

She knew it wouldn’t last long. Nothing ever last long for her. Seungkwan didn’t speak

“Tuh, exactly” Yn says walking away

Seungkwan didn’t speak cause he couldn’t believe Yn thought he’d leave after everything they had been through over the months

Seungkwan grabs Yn’s arm making her stop

“Of course I want to be with you…I know you didn’t harm your dad. Your grandmother told me he was ill. Why would I believe those rats? You think I’d believe anything they say and leave you? Huh? That’s what you think of me?” Seungkwan asks

“You know he’s sick?” Yn says lowly

“Yes. Your grandmother says it’s cancer” seungkwan says making Yn tear up

“Listen Yn…I’m not leaving. Not even for a second. After everything I’ve done to get close to you, to get to be with you? It would be a waste. The so called “warning label” everyone put on you is bullshit!” Suengkwan says

Yn nods. Seungkwan pulls her into a hug after wiping her tears.

“I love you…K?” Seungkwan says rubbing her back

“Love you to” Yn mumbles
