Sundown and Moonhigh are two performer animatronics that have a sort of 'cop and robber' routine where Sun plays the role of a sheriff and Moon the criminal. While they make put on an act of hatred on stage, behind the curtains, the two are inseparable

Moonhigh

Behind Moonhigh's swave and laid back veneer, he's just like any other Moon, a lover of mischief and play

I was also like 100% sure that moonhigh was an actual term??? Its not!!!!! It's from warrior cats

Moonhigh's clothing is desaturated due to sun bleaching and dust, his clothing is not as well taken care of as Sundown's both because of neglect from staff and Moonhigh's general distrust of them. This neglect is also the reason for his damaged faceplate as it was deemed too expensive to completely replace it and the injury enhanced how scary he was as a villain

Moonhigh's cape also doubles as a blanket! He takes good care of it and even washes it himself. It’s also handy for applying pressure to wounds, not that Moonhigh would ever need to use it for that purpose.

Moonhigh's designated flavour is coconut and he's usually seen in the Fazwest's milkshake bar between performances

Sundown

Sundown is a lot sweeter than most Suns though he does have his moments of apathy towards others due to him not quite understanding other's troubles due to his cushy treatment from staff

He shares the same general anxiety and mannerisms as his predecessors, he's always twitching and bouncing around

Sundown was similarly injured at to Moonhigh at some point but his faceplate was fixed, giving him a shiny green eye

Sundown has scarily accurate aim

Sundown's designated flavour is mango and he's usually seen in the horse stables in between performances

Pac: Fitch...?

I'm still thinking about Pac seeing a beautiful ray of light in the cave he was exploring yesterday and immediately calling Fit's name. 🫠

...Meanwhile, Fit is currently trapped alone in a dark cave on Vacuus Island. The constant light / shadow symbolism these two keep encountering is driving me INSANE.

remember the poll? this is one of the results; ichorous melody! a sun x moon AU!

set in 1885 victorian england, somewhere within central london! sun is a siren, a creature that lulls people in with their voice and drains them of their life through contact and song- and moon is a vampire, which is self-explanatory!

both of them are starved creatures, struggling in their positions in life with little food. when they run into each other, a shaky alliance is formed in the name of survival- sun drains the victim and moon disposes of the evidence. surely no one will ever catch them! especially not with the law already on moon's case. that won't come back to bite them at all!

a fic is in the works for this one!! but in the meantime, here's a few snippets from it!

"Leave me the body." The snarl of Moon's voice almost startled Sun right out of his skin, whirling around to face the vampire behind him. A wicked smile laid itself on his face, fangs poking at his lip. "You're a barbarian." Sun deadpanned. Moon grinned, a chastising tut with a teasing glint in ruby eyes. "You know the ache of hunger well, don't pretend you don't." "You don't have to consume the poor bastard!" "Richer blood in there." "God, you're disgusting," Sun huffed, turning to leave with a scowl, "Don't get blood on your waistcoat. I paid good money for that." Moon simply cackled in reply.

"Doctor Silas Jasper-" "Do not call me that." Moon hummed, leaning against Sun's back, chin rested gently against loose curls of blonde hair. The gentleness of his conduct spoke of affection, unseemly of a vampire, of a man carrying the marks of blood on his fangs. The scrawl of Sun's pen on paper paused. Moon quirked an eyebrow, draping an arm to lay over Sun's chest. He sighed, shrugging his arm off. "Get off me, Lucian." Moon gasped, a falsified sound. "Name-calling? How immature of you, Doctor." "You started it!"

"You're a doctor, aren't you? Just fix him." "What do you mean, 'fix him'? He's dead on our bloody floor!" Sun exclaimed, gesturing a scaled hand toward the lifeless form on the red-splattered floorboards. "Sing him back together." Moon teased, licking the drips of blood from his lips. "Oh, piss off!"

So. Apparently halfas are like phoenixes or something, which Danny would’ve really liked to know. 

See, usually with ghosts if they’re forced to retreat to their cores they reform as was, but apparently, since they’re still partially living, schrodinger's people and all that, halfas have to regrow their body from scratch. At least that’s what he’s understanding from Frostbite. 

But how come he has to deal with it? It’s Dan’s fault for trying to pull such a stunt! Oh, it’s either him or Vlad? Well fuck, he might have calmed down and is going to therapy in both the living realm and the Zone, but he’s waaay not equipped to raise a child except for like, monetarily wise. 

Well dammit, how long will this core incubation thing last, he has his new job in… let him check which offer he accepted again… He has his new job in Coast City that he needs to finish packing for and then all the rest of the stuff to do. 

What do you mean it’ll take months?! He doesn’t have months?! Urgh, fine. At least being a mortician isn’t that exciting, nor dangerous. Just hand him Dan’s core and he’ll figure things out for the living side of things. He’s sure Tucker and Sam wouldn’t be against helping, if only to try and claim favorite aunt or uncle spots.
