Talon isn't the kind of person to approach anyone out of their way, let alone in a gym. It was partly why they searched for the time they would be the most isolated in the gym, so little, unnecessary interactions could be avoided. It was fine when he entered, their alone time was disrupted, but with minding his own business it meant they were left otherwise undisturbed. Despite the setting being his natural habitat, the sighting of a brick wall of a man in the flesh wasn't something that happened every day.

So it's almost comedic when simply approaching him causes a visible jump of surprise.
