Oh, the boys would have such a reaction to seeing their darling without their tokens! The depot agents would definitely catch darling on the way into work and try to keep them and the bosses apart, but it's only a matter of time. And of course, all this hullabaloo over the feather and scale would only spur darling's new concerns further
Lord help those cultists if the twins ever find out who planted these ideas in the first place. Not even Arceus could save them

Oh, Certainly.
You can go back to Gear Station, setting aside the lovely scale Ingo gifted you- And the feather Emmet (unwittingly) bestowed upon you- And don your work uniform, heading into the station-
If something was trying to mark you- To bless you? To do- Something-
Well, you weren't going to let it. And you certainly weren't going to let whatever this "mystery" of the Subway was manipulate your coworkers or your bosses into… doing… things… for it? Your thoughts were racing through your head. There wasn't much for you to go on- And you certainly did not want to talk to that weird "psychic group" that hung around outside Gear Station any longer-
"You've been marked, young one."
Your heart sank every time you recalled those words. A cold chill running down your spine. You wanted to deny it as mad ramblings of mad people- But-
You had… good luck. You had very strange good luck. You had impossibly good luck. Certain people acted strangely around you- And to what end? Always your benefit- And- What of everything else that had happened? You, losing your job, suddenly finding yourself working for a train company- It wasn't something you had ever seen yourself doing, and certainly not long term, right? And yet- Here you were. Everything seemed to have lead you to Gear Station.
As though they were being manipulated by something- And you wanted nothing to do with any potential ghosts- Monsters- Pokemon? Whatever it was- Whatever the "mystery" was-
Nothing. You wanted nothing to do with it.
"Miss! You're a little late today," Jackie noted as you came into one of the back offices. "Anything bothering you today?"
Oh, sweet Jackie. He was always so polite- Everyone was.
Everyone was.
Oh dear.
"I'm doing okay," You lied. "I uh- Actually, you know what? Jackie, I have a question."
Your supervisor tilted his head. "Oh? What's up?"
"I- Have you- " What were you supposed to ask? Hey, are you being manipulated by some kind of something-or-other to be excessively nice to me? Is a demon controlling you? Have you seen any monstrous, non-pokemon entities prowling the subway that demanded you treat me perfectly?
Jackie adjusted his hat. "You can always ask me anything at all, Miss. I'm here for you and the all the rest of the Depot Agents, you know." One of his pokemon approached him- A Lilligant. He pet her head,
"Well, it's a little strange," You started off. "I don't suppose you've… run into those psychics that hang around Nimbasa City, have you? The ones who're usually around Gear Station?"
Jackie's face fell, a look of annoyance as his mouth scrunched up. "I've seen them, yea. A lot of them have been flat out banned from Gear Station, though. They've harassed employees, they've harassed the bosses, they've harassed customers- " He cut himself off, turning his attention back to you. "Why? Have they been bothering you?"
"Oh no, it's not that- I mean, I did get stopped by someone yesterday when I was walking, but- Well- What do you think about- What it is they say? About the er- Mystery-thing- in the subway?"
Jackie shrugged, sighing. "Oh, it's probably a load of nonsense- And besides, if there is anything in the tunnels, it's probably just a pokemon- Nothing you need to worry about, of course."
"What if it's not a pokemon, though?"
"I'm sorry?"
"I think- I think there might really be something- Down in the tunnels."
Oh fucking hell, Jackie thought. "A-And why would that be?"
"D'you know that scale Ingo found? The one he gave to me?"
Yes, yes I know it very well. "A little bit, why?" And come to think of it, why were you not wearing it-
"…I think it might be from our resident 'mystery'."
"Oh! Perhaps? I thought it was just a scale from an oddly-colored Haxorus." Jackie's hand pat aggressively on his Lilligant's head. "Come to think of it, isn't it usually in your pocket? You didn't lose it, did you?"
You shook your head. "Nope, I just… I think it might be better to leave it at home for a little bit, you know? It was stretching out my uniform's pocket, too."
Oh dear. "Gear Station isn't so particular about their uniforms, Miss. If it did get stretched, you get new uniforms every six months anyway, so…"
And come to think of it, the feather was missing from your cap. Jackie's blood ran cold. How was he to bring that up, too-
"…So, you think the scale came from… Something in the tunnels?"
You nodded. "…I think the feather I put in my cap may've also come from… It, too." Oh, well that answered that question.
Jackie sighed. "Well, if there is anything down there, I'm sure we'll find it- But in all my- Time working here, I've never seen anything out of the ordinary down there…"
"D'you think Ingo and Emmet would have any insight?"
"Into this? I doubt-"
"Insight into what?"
You don't know how you missed the clicking of Emmet's heels- Was he intentionally being quiet-? It took one turn of your head to notice your brilliantly white-coated boss hovering over your shoulder. Smiling brighter than the sun shone- and- Ominously.
"Oh- Emmet, Sir! Good morning-" You nearly jumped, but held yourself together- Your fright coming out as excitement.
"Good morning." He answered. His eyes scanned over you. "Something's different." His hand went to his mouth, and he answered his own question before you could even open your mouth. "Ah. The feather. Did you lose it? I hope not. It was verrry cute on your cap."
"Oh, I just- Left it at home today," You explained quickly. Why? Emmet didn't need to know-
"Aw. …Hmm. You're also missing that thing you kept in your pocket."
"The scale Ingo gave me?"
"That was it."
Emmet's posture changed. Why, he wanted to ask. He did not like this change. Maybe you only forgot them. That must've been it. That had to be it.
"Yeah… I thought it was… uh, unprofessional to hold onto trinkets while I work-"
Liar. Emmet thought. Why would you lie to him? You didn't lie about leaving them at home- But you were certainly lying now.
"But uh, the other thing-"
Oh?
"Emmet, Sir… Has there ever been… any… rumors… of- Strange… Pokemon, living in the subway tunnels?"
You looked up at your inscrutable boss cautiously. Emmet's eyes rolled as he thought about it for a moment- "Hmm. Someone's been reading some haunting stories, haven't they?" He smirked, eyes squinting. "There are a lot of people who like to use the subway tunnels as a backdrop for their scary stories. There's no odd pokemon down there. Just looots of verry cute joltiks!"
He patted your cap. "So don't put too much stock in those stories you hear, okay?"
"It- It wasn't a story, Sir-"
"I do miss that pretty feather in your cap though- You should put it back in."
Wait a moment. You felt your breath hitch.
"The feather?"
"Mmhmm! It is a verry pretty feather, you know?" Emmet's eyes narrowed. "I thought you liked it quite a bit too."
"Oh, I do-" And you paused.
Was Emmet- No, certainly he couldn't be-
Being… Controlled, could he? By whatever thing stalked you-
You considered your boss for a moment.
Emmet smiled. "So you'll put it back? Wonderful! It is verrry charming, is it not?"
"Huh?"
"The feather."
You recalled it.
"…I suppose." Was Emmet being controlled by the- By the thing that plagued you? "There was something I always… found off about it, though."
And in the silence that followed, you could have heard your blood running through your veins.
"…What's wrong with it?"
The tone of Emmet's voice sent a shiver down your spine- The color drained from Jackie's face- And yet you wouldn't have noticed the latter, deciding to try and find out for yourself-
Was Emmet being manipulated? And your current feelings turned to- Well, yes, it certainly did seem that way.
"It just… feels off, you know? Like yes, it's wonderfully soft and shimmery, but… I can't help but feel like… it's not a real feather, or something. Like it's…" What to say- Something- Something to tell the thing that followed you that you wanted nothing to do with it?
"…fake?"
The Subway Boss stared at you, cocking his head curiously. You felt nervous- Where had Jackie gone, you wondered? Your supervisor was suddenly absent from the office-
"I see. Well, I must get going."
Emmet's smile never left his face. But his heart and mind burned. You watched him turn tail and pace away, always so perfectly postured. Well, no use waiting around here, you thought, and off you went to
Emmet burned. Not with anger, no, certainly not, but something indescribable. An emotion, certainly, that was driving him madder and madder by the second, the more he thought about it. Fake? His feathers? Fake? Himself? And not only that, but you had the audacity to believe silly little rumors or stupid stories over his own words?
Liar. Liar. Liar.
Almost like a self-soothing mantra. You must be lying, surely, little mortal.
You wouldn't hurt them like this.
You're destined to love them. To be with them forever- To be theirs, forever-
Emmet would have to have a chat with his brother about this.
But the other Subway Boss was already finding you as well.
To Ingo, it was odd- You had clocked in, but-
He couldn't feel the warmth of your heart against that lonesome little scale he gave you. Surely you hadn't lost it? No matter- He could always happen upon another, saying it was from a hydreigon or similar-
"Ah, there you are, Miss."
He watched as you darted out of another hallway- Laden with blueprints and answering something on your walkie-talkie.
Ingo was not one to demand attention. He was reserved- Refined. He studied human mannerisms and etiquette- Such things were meaningless drivel, easily learned and retained- Service workers kept their arms behind their backs, or at their sides, their backs straight, feet oh-so-far apart-and-not-a-millimetre-more- Head perfectly held up but not too high- Shoulders back, and a bow to ladies as he held the door for them- Refined movements with not a step too widely taken. There were a million more rules, and subtle cues he had learned- And he would've learned a million more if he had to. Nonsense, all of it- The pompous drivel that humans inflicted on themselves, though, mannerisms and etiquette were something he and his brother were subjected to in any dealings with mortals or other things, no matter the age or era. And while Emmet was certainly the more impatient of the two-
Ingo was reserved. Nobori knew that, come what may, his desires would be his- He was never an impatient being, because, no matter what, all things came to an end, eventually. All things. No matter how many thousands of eons he must wait. And so, he knew, you would eventually end up in his arms.
And yet, for all his refinement- For all his patience-
Your mere presence tested every part of his perfectly crafted facade. If you confessed your undying affection to him at any moment, it would not be soon enough- Oh, to finally hold you in his arms- Oh, to finally revel in your embrace-
Oh, to finally receive your love and adoration, your affection, openly and freely- To be free himself to be as jealous and possessive as he desired- There was a reason he wished to cloak you in shadows, and keep you away from prying eyes- There were no eyes fit to behold you to him- No light fair enough to catch your countenance (Except, perhaps, Kudari's)- No gift too great to give you- If only, if only, you would turn your eyes up to him in love.
And you did love them, even if you didn't know it yet. Ingo was certain. You were wrapped around his fingers, and trapped within his net. He loved you dearly- And elder demons who dwell beyond time and space, moving with the ebb and flow of ancient forces so vast and unknowable and ancient and imperceptible were not used to feeling such a base emotion as love-
And it had consumed him, entirely. At first, he would've been content to steal you away- He would've been content to force your love from your heart, binding you to him until you couldn't tell where the shadows began and you ended-
But not now.
Love was a bit like a drug- A drug that didn't seem to wear off. And oh, how he became enslaved to his adoration of you- No, merely kidnapping you- That was the sort of thing a beast would do. And Nobori was far cleverer than a mere human.
No no, you would be his. You would seek him out on your own, and soon you wouldn't wish to leave him-
After all, he had watched you for so long from your shadows. You sighed and complained of your boss and your work at your old job- No more. No matter where you applied or wanted to go, the brothers knew you would be happiest by their side- Not working among strangers who would treat you like common filth, so your resumes were tattered and torn apart in shadows- Or a recruiter conveniently forgot to call you. And no matter what work you wanted-
Gear Station had need of your skills. Gear Station had dire need of your skills. Gear Station had dire need of you.
And everything seemed to be going so well- From the first nervous moment you stepped into their office for an interview, to how well you took to the training, the joy on your face from working among them- Of course you were happy. You would be nothing less among them.
So when you drew the precious scale of his out of your pocket, and placed it on some counter last night- He was not worried. You usually did that. But when he failed to feel your hand come morning, or the tender beat of your heart and the rise of your lungs as he had grown so fond of-
The elder deity was unnerved. He hadn't realized how much he had found himself yearning for the feeling- And without it, it left a hollow, ill feeling in him. He thought seeing you would fix it- But looking at your nervous face, the way you clung to yourself like a frightened minccino-
"Whatever is the matter, Agent-?" Ingo asked-
Leering down at you, a cruel look in his dark eyes- Or at least, that's how it looked to you.
"Ah, Ingo, Sir…" You trailed off. You hadn't wanted to run into him. "Nothing much, I'm… supposed to do a tunnel inspection? So, I'll get goin-"
"No no, I meant- You look rather worried. Is something bothering you? You can always come to me or Emmet if you have any concerns, you know-"
You shook your head. "No no, nothing like that- I er, uh, I'm just- I guess I'm feeling a little off today,"
*How were you to explain-
"…Your cap seems… Ah- Did you leave that feather at home today?" Ingo broached. He had noticed the lack of scale in your pocket, as well. But the scale was far more hidden in your uniform than the feather- And it was some mortal manner to not stare at someone's chest and inspect their breast pockets for any objects they may or may not contain, was it not?
Oh please no, not Ingo too- You thought, feeling more and more desperate. Why? What was the significance of that stupid feather and scale? Why? They might come from the thing- But why?
"Er, yes, I left them at home, I don't- I don't think it's good for me to wear the- it, to work, you know?"
"I saw no issue with it, and I'm certain Emmet didn't eith-"
"I saw issue with it."
And once again, silence. Ingo looked down at you, silver eyes unnaturally bright against the harsh shadows cast from the brim of his hat-
It made him look mad. Deranged.
And with trepid movement, you took a small step backwards. Perhaps it was paranoia, perhaps it was fear- Perhaps you were imagining things, yes, that had to be it-
"…There was an issue? With it?"
"Yes. Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to get to my work. I… I was a little late this morning."
And you brushed past him without another word, leaving him dumbfounded. A chill swept through the hallway, and Ingo watched your figure vanish down another turn towards the subway tunnels.
…Had you just rejected his gift to you? His lovely brother's gift to you? What issue was there with their scale and feather? Did that mean you took issue with them?
The elder God was certain he-they- had you ensnared. Under his claws, his gaze, wrapped in his shadows- You were bound to be his mate, bound to be his, entirely, entirely his-
"Brother."
Ingo turned his eyes- Emmet. Who had been watching you as well, vanish behind the tunnel door. And peaking out behind him, was Depot Agent Jackie.
"I'-I'm certain it's nothing big, Emmet, Sir! And Ingo, Sir, er- Don't worry, if you- If you leave this to us Agents, I'm certain we can figure out what changed their mind-"
"You better." Emmet snapped, not taking his eyes off where you turned. Jackie saluted, and without another word, ran away to carry out his bosses' orders. Emmet bit his lip.
"Brother, she said there was something wrong with my feather."
Ingo's brow furrowed. "Wrong? Whatever could they mean?"
"I don't know."
"And- My scale- She took that off, too."
"Yes, she did that too."
"And your feather!"
"Yes. And my feather."
Ingo grabbed at his sleeves. This didn't… make any sense. You had said you loved his scale- You fawned over and adored the feather you'd found-
So why. What had changed? Why did you now shy away, why were you so uncomfortable around them? Why did you dislike their gifts now-? Ingo scratched at his back. An unusual cold spot had manifested- A feeling he wasn't aware he could feel- Where his scale had used to be.
Emmet threw back his head, hair ruffling up like feathers- "If darling refuses us…" And began walking towards the door you disappeared down-
"They won't," Ingo reassured.
"They will not. One way or another."
Ingo glanced at his brother out of the corner of his eye, following him. "…Do you have anything in mind to remedy this situation, brother?"
Emmet pondered a moment. "Would Miss Elesa be able to get it out of them, the reason, you think?"
"I don't know. They seem… Suspicious, don't they?"
"Nonsense! Elesa can figure it out."
And Elesa would have her day quite rudely interrupted by an incessant call from her X-Transceiver- Unendingly ringing, until she threw it off in annoyance- Probably something to do with those two, she thought. The last thing she needed- More headaches, more pestering- And she'd probably have to pester you, too. Perhaps if she ignored it, she wouldn't have to deal with it, she hoped.
Until Emmet breaks into her gym, doe-eyed and asking so sweetly for her help once more. Certainly, you trust Elesa, right? You won't find her suspicious.

Okay but what if I wore a pair of these for the Hydreigon!Submas Twins
Imagine them napping and I use these to kees them on the nose/cheek/forehead
Or just to be a lil menace with them and tickle them with these
You'd probably short circuit their poor dragon brains- Emmet is looking at them in confusion. They look like Deinos. Pups. Baby to take care of. But it's. On your hand.
Are you a Hydreigon hybrid? Maybe a half-hybrid? Emmet's head is tilting so far he might as well be upside down.
You boop him on the nose. He tries to hiss, and chirps instead- And hisses again, in confusion. Ingo looks shocked- Why do you have children on your hands? He certainly wishes he had real pups... ...Do you want pups? He wonders. He'll certainly give them to you if you want.
Heaven forbid you remove the gloves. The boys are distraught. Holding up the plushies. Ingo has tears in his eyes, looking at the weirdly deflated Deino. He lights up if you put the puppets back on. Emmet gets antsy- He wants to get rid of them, but- Looking at them, feeling how soft they are under his hands... He hisses at them. Weird fake babies.
But also...
The boys are chirping at your hands wantonly. Somehow, you've managed to make them suppress their normally violent tendencies. They're accepting your boops and keeses, while also being unusually tender and sweet. If you tickle them, they won't be vicious- Hollering and growling at you touching them, but not biting or fighting back- The moment they try to, you just pretend to make lil Deino noises with the gloves and the boys can't help but coo at the puppets on your hands.

I am getting Headcanons ready because I was thinkin' of writing something for a/b/o soon too ^^ Also I definitely didn't have to screenshot this anon really quickly because I posted the post too early and hadn't formatted anything yet
cw: Omegaverse, sfw, fluff, twins x reader, really rambly (I've not written anything omegaverse before and I am nervous)
Ω I picture their scents would actually be considered kind of unpleasant, especially in a world where people smell like flowers and spices and sugar and sweets- Both Ingo and Emmet perpetually smell like fuel and oil and sweat and iron and fire, which isn't much liked by most omegas.
Ω When relaxed, their scent is much more mellow and pleasant, though- Like fresh-cut lumber, coffee, or wood-smoke, or something heavily spiced. I think Ingo smells more like coffee and wood-smoke, whereas Emmet has a scent more like cinnamon and nutmeg and cloves- And both of them always have an underlying scent of iron and oil. Probably something to do with growing up and working around trains.
Ω Both of them are a little upset that so many omegas are turned off by their scent, and they don't have mates- Even though they're both very popular and accomplished trainers. They try not to let it bother them, but Emmet's woken up to himself nervously rubbing his wrists into his bed and wishing it was a cute little omega's nest, instead… Ingo is a hopeless romantic though and doesn't hide his sorrow half as well. He wistfully stares at couples and wishes he could've been a beta, if it would do anything to fix his scent problems.
Ω When they meet their darling omega, they're ecstatic, and can barely contain their excitement. An omega? Who doesn't hate their scent? They're also super nervous, and they have zero clue how best to catch your attention and interest.
Ω They suck at nest making, for the most part. They never learned, and so they follow your lead- They buy you lots of blankets, some pretty curtains, and any sort of lights or other things you'd like for your nest. They have a tendency to spoil you, but let them- They feel bad from not knowing how to make nests themselves.
Ω While they love you dearly, they act kind of distant- Scared to chase you off, nervous to show too much affection. You have to reassure them a lot that you really love them and want them, which is something new for them.
Ω They absolutely lose it if you ask them to scent something. Ingo gets wide eyed, and almost shocked. He gestures at himself, as if- No, you'd meant some alpha standing behind him. Once he gets over his shock, he's flustered and has wrapped the blanket or article of clothing around himself, trying to make it as Ingo-scented as possible. Emmet just beams with enthusiasm and snatches you and whatever you're holding into his embrace- Yes, he'll scent your clothing for you- And yourself.
Ω Ingo growls a lot, sometimes without even realizing it. He usually does it when he's holding you, or if he's in rut- Or in his sleep. Emmet typically whines at you. Ω Both of them are very clingy alphas, once they let themselves act more naturally around you. If you often sleep in your nest, they're pawing at the entrance to your abode- Two pitiful, half-undressed alphas almost whining at you to let them come in and cuddle, or join them in their beds for the night. If they ever catch you cuddling their clothing, they're melting and immediately jumping to join you- A coat is a poor substitute for your beloved alphas, after all.
Ω They like to spoil their omega. Not just in nest materials, but they'll probably want to take frequent baths with you, and treat you to nice things often. They practically parade you around with how much they love you and how much they take pride in being your alphas- Ingo will often take you to buy cute, comfy clothes- Emmet likes to treat you (and himself) to sweets. Ω They will also ask you to scent their own clothing! Especially their shirts, or the collars of their coats- Your scent is soothing and refreshing to them, especially if they're having a bad day.
Ω They love having you with them in Gear Station, and if Emmet spots you he practically runs up to scent you, kissing you and wrapping his arms around you. Ingo prefers to immediately invite you back to the office- He prefers to give his affections in private, unlike Emmet's PDA. If they're working and you're in their office, one of them might occasionally pull you in for a tight hug- Drinking in your scent, hearing your heart beat or your voice squeak in surprise.
Ω Cuddling you after a long day is something they love very very much- They put on a cool fan, or possibly two, or maybe three- and just lie around in bed or on the couch with you. Ingo gently rubbing his hands across your back, scenting you- And Emmet curling around you like a gremlin before he passes out.

if it's not a bother,
could you show some more artwork of yours?
-a person who loves others art🩵
Sure! I've been doing a few sketches of some Android-mas (Yandroids, courtesy of Stardust on Ro's Discord <3) over on Discord- I'll share em here though. ^^
Here's the first one, I got bored when I got the legs lol:
Here's the second attempt- I once again got bored when I got to the legs but not too much
I saw some art of Android Ingo and Emmet with screen display faces and tbh that's my absolute favorite kind of "face" for any robot character- LED screens are really fun and cute looking, imo.
Some Headcanons about the Android boys: ◮ These two are bio-electric androids, rather than straight up machines. They're half synthetic cellular construct, half AI-powered battle machine- And beloved by the public as unofficial heroes and mascots of Android tech. ◮ They are completely autonomous, and can function for years without maintenance- They are self repairing, self fueling, and they were also some of the first androids ever released before someone realized it was a bad idea to give your lethal autonomous AI bots the ability to self-sustain. ◮ They have two "cores" that power their bodies- A biological core, much like a "heart", that supplies their biological functions with fuel, and a power core that provides them with all the power they need for their mechanical functions- They can also use their power core to power other machinery, or give themselves a super-boost in combat if needed. The bio-core is a biological hazard and contains chemicals known to the town of Undella to cause not just regular cancer, but probably Super Android Cancer- Luckily no one's trying to eat them or rub their eyeballs on their hearts. Their power cores, on the other hand, are radiation hazards when exposed- And protected by thick metal and polymer plating to prevent leaks.
◮ They are battle Androids, designed to protect interstellar transit routes or regular passenger transit- Protecting passengers is how they ended up becoming heroes as people recorded their battles against rogue drones and other threats.
◮ They have nanobots- Innumerable armies of miniscule robots inside of them that repair any broken pieces, heal/repair/grow any synthetic cells, or even specialized attack bots that dissolve any foreign materials in their bodies- Or outside. They also come equipped with the ability to synthesize human/pokemon medic bots to stabilize any injured passengers- And they can control their nanobots, as well.
◮ Androids have an extremely long list of precepts and codes they have to follow- If they attempt to disobey their precepts, their bodies literally stop working. Most precepts were things along the lines of the Three Laws of Robotics, but more and more kept being added with various legal cases and lawsuits and eventually P.R cases and public safety. ◮ They have regulators that prevent their synthetic neurons and other biological functions from acting on any... organic urges they might have, despite their genetically engineered origins. Sure would be bad if those broke, wouldn't it?
◮ Their LCD screen displays can make various emoticons for them to convey their meanings- Ingo and Emmet also use their signature triangle smiles to help differentiate the two for maintenance crews and the public.
◮ Also! Forgot to add, their limbs aren't attached to their body normally- They can launch them like drones at targets or grapple things from afar, and they can pull themselves to their limbs if needed.
And finally, some emoticon displays:
#Android AU#Robot Submas#Seth.asks#Seth.anon#Submas#Anyway I hope you enjoy my rambling#Also they don't ever use the heart#The heart only starts happening if they fall in love#Which is impossible for an Android#...unless you break their regulators...#Watch them trying to emote but every time they look at you it defaults to a heart display#Anyway I suck at drawing robots and this was my first time trying so#The designs change a lot but I really like how Emmet looks in the last one

How do you think your submas aus would react to their object of affection already having a child (either adopted or from a previous partner)? There could be such different reactions among them, some potentially veering very badly, and some really good, that I can't help but be curious!
I don't know- I think it would also heavily depend on the children involved. I actually think drider or hydreigon boys would react best- They'd treat the children like their own offspring, and shower them with as much affection as they could. Hydreigon boys would probably be worried about how "weak" human kids are, but also happy they aren't blind, like Deinos are. The Driders are teaching the children how to weave and catch fish- Bugcatchers are a staple toy in your house for the kids.
The Androids would probably regard the children as Extra Special VIP passengers- They have all sorts of protocols and data on interacting with children, and while they adore you, your children are obviously, very precious to you! It would probably make them feel more human with you, too; Aren't you just the image of a lovely, happy family? And if they endear the children to themselves, well...
The Eldritch Boys are probably the ones with the most curious reaction. I can't say for certain how they would react- They understand "loving" you as giving you all you desire, even if it is in a "wrong", or messed-up sort-of-way. A child, already yours? What father do they have, they wonder? And what better way to earn their place by your side than if they prove themselves to be suitable parental figures? Your child will be powerful; They shall know ancient, forbidden knowledge that the greatest of occult sorcerers have spent decades of their lives seeking, and all as fun little bedtime stories told to them from the lap of an Elder God. But in all honesty, the children would probably find themselves closer to Kudari- And as much as Kudari delights in them, he has trouble bonding with them. Earning your affection is hard, certainly, yes- But a child's affection should be easy to get, right? Well, depends on the child.
Nobori has a lot of trouble getting along with children- His face and the darkness about him give him a rather frightening aura. He tries not to be so somber or... Depressing, as Kudari so bluntly puts it, around them- But the perpetual glower on his face is still a deterrent. He gets better if he views the children like little Depot Agents, oddly. He finds it easier to give praise and talk to kids if he's showing them how to do something, or teaching them about battling.

Hii! I'm back again! 💖
I love when the twins get all jealous and protective of their darling, but I think there's some great potential with darling getting jealous in return too! Its silly and irrational, because they're her bosses. But there's a tug inside her heart every time she sees them with someone else, even if can't even begin to understand why she feels that way (it's totally a soulmate thing).
She can't say anything, bc they're her bosses and it's wayy out of line, but they'd figure it out eventually - either from listening in to chats with Elesa or from watching the way she acted.
Do you think they'd try and clear the air immediately and shut down the advances in front of her? Or would they let her stew away in it just a bit? Either way, I'm sure they'd be tickled their darling is experiencing even a taste of what they usually feel (and maybe hopeful that this could be the start of something more!)

As Darling falls more and more in love with her bosses, desperately trying to deny it to herself, she would absolutely get hit by her own emotions hard, no matter what she tried to do.
Ingo and Emmet are jealous, driven more jealous every time Darling tries to put aside her unprofessional and totally inappropriate feelings by trying to ask someone, anyone else out- Vain attempts to get over her infatuation with her beloved bosses.
Of course, she feels nervous and jealous and strangely pained when she has to watch her bosses have happy interactions with fans or trainers- Emmet and Ingo are encouraging and kind to trainers they have to fight on the Subway, but very stiff about doing so. Darling doesn't exactly see this, and- Especially when a fan grabs one of them for a hug and photo, or, on a rare occasion, tries to smooch one of them? All she hears is Emmet flirting with them, hearing the "come visit the Station again sometime!" As a statement filled with double meanings-
Her face turns bright red with blush and terror, her stomach churning. And yet, the way they act disgusted afterwards... It makes her feel a terrible wave of relief, and also a terrible wave of a shame and guilt, thinking how they'd probably be disgusted if they knew what she was thinking about them- The dreams she'd had, the fantasies she'd indulged in... She knows she's being irrational, and she's trying to keep it together, but- It's difficult. Her infatuation grows worse by the day, feeling the terrible tugging on her heartstrings. She doesn't just picture Ingo and Emmet ravaging her, she pictures waking up beside them, just being held in their arms, leaning against them on a picnic... Oh no. The infatuation's gone domestic.
I think Darling would also get the absolutely wrong idea about their relationship with Elesa as well.
All the times Darling has seen Elesa heading into- and out of- her bosses' office?
Her heart practically breaks right then and there. Putting two and two together, especially as she recalls the awkward first time meeting with Elesa in their office. The way she acted so odd, like she was hiding something...
Asking Elesa about her relationship with the Subway Bosses makes her flustered- Elesa isn't sure what to say to how she became the resident matchmaker for the two demons, her thoughts drifting back to the long nights thinking Emmet was going to pop out of her wall and murder her- But her nervousness makes Darling's suspicions a hundred times worse. Of course. Of course. Elesa is clearly their girlfriend. And why not? She's beautiful- A celebrity, a gym leader, a perfect woman- Certainly, everything they could ever want.
---
Elesa put down her drink at the coffee shop. She'd switched to tea, as the extra caffeine was putting a little too much pep in her step, especially when battling. She'd called you like she normally did, asking if you wanted to go out for coffee- and you responded yes, for the first time in almost two weeks. The Station Masters had even questioned you sudden avoidance of her- Had Elesa made you uncomfortable, somehow...? Oh, if she had...
She drank her tea nervously, waiting for you to arrive, watching patrons come and go as they ordered and received their beverages- Taking note of interesting sounding combinations. What else was she to do? The weather outside looked pleasant- Hot, but a wild breeze was gusting through Nimbasa, providing much needed cooling to the city. The frigid A/C in the coffee shop wasn't near enough to calm Elesa down, though.
She barely noticed as the door swung open, the tell tale ringing of the coffee shop's bells announcing the arrival of another customer.
You.
Elesa waved you over, smiling brightly, and you sat down, tentatively. Elesa noticed the furtive glance you stole, the tense smile you gave her- "How's it going?" She asked, sipping her almost-empty-tea cup. Playing dumb.
"It-It's going well, I suppose." You answered honestly. "Haven't had any luck with any of the dates I've tried going on." "Oh no! It hasn't been too bad, I hope?" You shook your head. Except it had been... pretty bad. It seemed every person who you tried to meet suddenly ghosted you, or found someone else-
Elesa shrugged, listening to your woes. "Those people sound like jerks, in all honesty... I'm sure you'll find someone eventually, though. It can be tough..."
"What about yourself, Elesa?" You took your iced coffee in hand, sipping from it nervously.
"Oh, you mean- Dating?" She asked quizzically.
"Yeah."
Her hands fiddled with the edges of her hair nervously. "It's uh- Oh, you know- It's been... You know. Being a Gym Leader- and a bit of a celebrity, it's hard. Most people have ideas about how I'm supposed to act, you know? And when they get to know me- They find out I'm different from what they expected. Or, some crazy fan will try to ask me out. Happens alll the time. Though I can spot them real quick- I've got Luxray vision for them now."
"Uh-huh." You watched as she- nervously- took the empty cup in front of her and pretended to sip from it.
There really was no use Swanna-stepping around the question, was there?
"Elesa... I really hate to ask you this, but-" You began. Elesa's cup went down, hanging on your words. What Sinnoh-forsaken request or headache-inducing question were you going to ask next...?
"You... and... the Station Masters..."
Oh no-
"Are you guys dating?" Your table fell silent, Elesa staring ahead like a deerling caught in the headlights of an 18-wheeled semi truck barreling down the Castelia Connector. Her mouth fell open, as though she were about to object, but no sound came out. Oh no. Perhaps you hit the nail on the head-
"What?"
You fidgeted nervously at her incredulousness.
"It's just, I see you come by Gear Station pretty frequently, and- Jackie always lets you back to their office... And I've seen you come in and out of there more than a few times- And I've even heard Ingo call you over a couple times and I know it's not really my place to ask, but it's been bothering me but I don't want you to think I'm judging you or make you uncomfortable I was just-"
"Hold on, Hold on there a second!" Elesa sputtered- Arceus Above she needed more tea-
"Oh- uh, er, Sorry-"
She coughed a few times, composing herself. "I'm not- We're not- No- I visit them purely on business. Absolutely not, goodness- I would never date either of those two, oh my gosh-"
"Are- Are you sure? Because- I really don't mind, I'll keep it a secret if you need me to!"
"Look- Absolutely not. They are not my type. Nope, No, Nada, Never. Not for me. I'd sooner ask Clay out."
Now it was your turn to choke on your coffee. "Gym leader Clay?"
"The very same. Man with the Chaps. Man with zero fashion sense, who wears the turquoise chaps. Man nearly three times my age with the chaps-"
"Oh thank Sinnoh!" You clapped your hands together, stifling back the slightest hint of a snicker at Elesa's obvious displeasure at being reminded of Gym Leader Clay's er, outfit- and-
"That's- a good thing...?" Elesa asked. And a smile dawned on her face.
Oh no. You hadn't meant to be so enthusiastic upon learning that they weren't dating-
You blushed. Oops.
Elesa smirked. "You... You like the Subway Bosses, don't you?"
"Wa- We-Well- Kind... of?"
"Kind of?" She raised an eyebrow.
You turned bashful. "I- I've mentioned it before, just a little bit... but... I do have a smidgen of a crush on them."
Elesa watched as the flowers outside the cafe suddenly sprung to vigorous life- blooming and growing far too big for this time of year and bending immediately in the vicious breeze outside. "So you do like them. And you were nervous that... I was dating them?"
"W-Well... Not quite nervous you were dating them, er- well, I guess so...? But I- It's not like I'm going to ask them out or anything, it's just-"
"Why not ask them out?"
Your words faltered- Did Elesa really not know why...?
"E-Elesa, look at them! They're the Station Masters of the Unovan Transit System! They're famous pokemon trainers, they're also my bosses, they've got a million other women and men flocking for the opportunity just to meet them- Why would they even bother with one of their Depot Agents?"
Those were, by your point of view, perfectly acceptable reasons not to ask them out- And yes, they normally would be- But not to Elesa.
"Well, for starters, they've called you cute to my face before." She answered point blankly.
You'd been blushing before- Now you were truly beet red. No- No, why did Elesa have to say that? You were so hoping to get over your infatuation, not make it worse- Not give it the hope for it to become reality-!
"They've called you cute, they specifically asked for you to be the one to deliver documents to their office... They try to have lunch with you..."
"N-Nonsense, that's just- I mean, Emmet called Agent Shuusan cute the other day too!" Shuusan being one of your coworkers- One of the shortest and smallest of the Depot Agents, you'd almost thought him a child- Only for him to angrily show you his I.D, standing on tip toes to wave it in your face and prove that no, Emmet and Ingo were not violating Child Labor Laws and that he was, in fact, a 22 year old man. Who was barely five feet tall. He stopped shaving to prove it, giving his baby-face a comical appearance, but certianly making him look older. "-Besides, they have meals with the other Depot Agents all the time... and I'm still a junior Agent. I don't drive any trains, I'm not an electrician or an engineer, I'm still- I'm just a paper pusher for the most part- Why else would I be having to run back and forth between their office to bring them whatever they need? The other Agents are all doing actual work while I'm still in training! I mean, granted- I'm- almost ready to start actual conductor training, but-"
Elesa sighed.
"-And not to mention, they- They're always so friendly with some of the trainers who come to fight them..."
Your head fell as you stirred your coffee-
"Wait a minute." Elesa interjected, "Are you saying- You're jealous of them talking to other trainers?"
Your gaze shot up. "A-absolutely not! It's just- Sometimes a trainer tries to hug them, or flirts with them- And- It's so dumb, it's so idiotic, but- I... I feel horrible and so guilty for feeling so sick when I see them so close with other people- I don't think it's jealousy- I'm just- Really anxious that... They'll find someone. Or one of them will find someone. And- If they knew- If they knew I felt this way-"
You took a deep breath. "They'd probably fire me..."
Elesa shook her head. "No, no I don't think they would! Emmet and Ingo care far too much about you to ever think that, dear-"
"It- It's alright, Elesa. I'm sorry for burdening you with that. It's just a stupid little infatuation of mine. It's- It's really nothing. I'll be over it soon enough." You grabbed one of the cafe's menus off your table.
"I'd like to move on, if that's alright-? I'm going to order a muffin."
No, No you really should keep going with this line of talking it's the most progress she's made with you in months-
But as Elesa rubbed her temples- On second thought, maybe taking a break from the discussion would help a little bit.
---
"How in the name of Hell- Did she ever, ever arrive at such a conclusion?" Emmet hissed, angrily pacing in his and his brother's office. Elesa was sitting across from him and Ingo- Between the two, it was impossible to tell who looked more pained. Emmet turned his face towards Elesa, studying her intently for a second- Before backing off, his abnormally long tongue extending as he made a disgusted face. "Absolutely not. I do not like Miss Elesa. How. How did our sweet, dearest Darling ever come to think we liked you?"
"-Not to say we do not like you, Miss Elesa- As friends, of course-" Ingo interjected.
"...Of course." Elesa dryly returned. She was used to having vague insults hurled at her by the twins at this point-
"And we do not like it either when those cretins touch us without permission-! I tell them off immediately and tell them to never come back to our Subway! How has Darling missed that...?"
"...Honestly if she saw it from afar she probably didn't hear you guys admonishing your fans..."
"Ingo, new rule. We do not let them touch us. Understood?"
"Of course."
Elesa was quick to catch on, alarm bells ringing in her ears. "How are you two implementing that rule." She asked- No, demanded to know.
Ingo thought for a minute. "Simple. We can easily predict their movements- And simply back away-"
"Or break their hands for daring to touch us-"
"...That will be for extreme cases."
"No, you really shouldn't-"
The debate continued back and forth for some time still- Emmet really couldn't just even use a Joltik to electrocute their hands? No? Yes? No. But it would be entertaining- Still no. Emmet sighed. "Remember. You two are trying to be normal humans! Normal humans don't cut off each other's hands for touching them!" Emmet's hand curled up, his fingers pulled tight in a clawed position. "Then maybe I should stop acting so much like a normal human. I'm best we could win our Dearest's affections even if we were less human." "Absolutely not! You're not going to get anyone's affection if you remove their extremities!"
Emmet sat down at his desk- A massive spider crawling onto his lap. "I've earned someone's affection at least," He spat back, petting the head of his beloved spider, curling around him affectionately. "...Do you think our Sweetheart would fall in love with us if they were a spider? I would certainly love them even if they were a spider." He puffed up, hugging his Galvantula tighter. "I would love darling verrrry much. I know how to take care of spiders now."
"I think our Darling does, er- Prefer being human, I think, Brother." Ingo interjected, eying the look of terror on Elesa's face.
He adjusted his tie, sighing as he stood up. "As for now, however- We- We really should continue this discussion later." He noted, looking at the watch on his wrist. Elesa jumped up. "But-" "No buts, Miss Elesa. You have your duties to attend to, as we have ours. We shall not be turning anyone into spiders," He added, glaring down at his brother, who sheepishly ignored his glare and continued playing with the giant arachnid. "It was just a joke, brother. You're verrry mean."
Ingo looked back at Elesa. "Very well. Now, Miss Elesa?" He offered her his hand, and she sighed, taking it. He pulled her aggressively towards him and-
She was standing in front of her gym, almost tripping over her own feet from the force of Ingo pulling her.
"Those two..." She grumbled, flicking back her hair as she righted herself. Well. If she started having coffee with a spider, she'd have some choice words to share with them- And probably a very miserable looking Galvantula to shove in their face.
---
The twins were curious now- You'd admitted to being, at the very least, infatuated with them- And you felt how they felt, watching you flirt and talk with others when you went out- Jealousy. A sickening and powerful emotion, they knew. Ingo considered using it against you- But- The thought of attempting to feign interest in another human? He recoiled at the thought, his shadows around him reflexively scratching at the discomfort. It made him uncomfortable enough to approach you, desperate to assuage himself-
And you almost didn't notice your boss silently moving behind you- claws flexing, borderline outstretching- and wanting to grab at you. Jealousy may have been a sinister emotion, but obsession- posessive obsession- The beast that consumed the twin demons was far more terrifying. How easy it would be, Ingo thought, looking at how small and delicate you were- To just grab you, daze you, delude you, mark you up, pin you down, wrap you in the coils of his tail, in the grasps of his shadows-
And suddenly you jumped in horror as you turned your head- Noticing the dark shadow behind you.
"Good Arceus! Ingo-! Er, Sir! Station Master Sir! I'm so sorry, you gave me an awful fright there- I don't know how I didn't hear you behind me, goodness-"
You clutched at your heart, thudding in your chest from your sudden panic- Ingo could hear it plainly, and he'd already returned to normal by the time you looked at him. Had he really just-
"Er, is there anything- I can do for you, Sir?"
"Ah, er, No, no- You're good. My apologies for frightening you there, Miss. Are you alright?"
"O-Of course, Sir!" You took several deep breaths, Ingo offering you his arm to lean against.
"How goes your day?" He asked, after you had sufficiently calmed down.
"G-good, Sir. I delivered those work orders to Emmet like Agent Jackie told me to."
"Good." Ingo remarked, turning his attention down the hallway you were both standing in- Before looking back at you.
"You know, it is quite nice having you to run around for us. I'm sorry you've been stuck doing secretarial work for so long..."
"What? Oh, I don't mind Sir! I understand, training takes a while..."
"It's partially our fault, truly." Ingo apologized, before continuing on.
"-However, instead of continuing with such menial tasks... we'd like to ask you to accompany us on some other charges we must attend to. It's about time- You could begin learning about electrical system management, or perhaps- Becoming a conductor yourself. Of course, you'll still be expected to attend to maintenance- We all are, after all."
Ingo continued on, shifting himself down to your height. "What do you say to embarking with us for such assignments? You'll have the Depot Agents from time to time, but... Emmet and I must also attend to routine maintenance. We would be more than happy to train you on occasion."
You were wide-eyed- A little too surprised by your bosses' words. "I-I'd love that, Sir. But-"
Ingo clapped his hands together with such force it startled you. "Wonderful!" His voice becoming louder- "I shall inform Emmet immediately. You'll begin with us tomorrow morning."
And with that he turned away, walking off- Silently and secretly thrilled. They would be with you even more now-!
You blushed- Unsure what to make of the conversation that had just transpired.
But no matter- Now you'd be working and training alongside the Subway Bosses. Your poor heart thudded happily in your chest. More opportunities to indulge your wishes- Your dreams- That maybe, just maybe- The Subway Bosses really did- Truly-
Like you?
But only just a little bit, of course.
You breathed heavily, still a little shocked at how Ingo had snuck up on you-
In fact. How had he done that?
You knew you'd been alone in the hall- You'd looked around you only a second ago-
How did he do that, you wondered?

Binging the Eldritch Submas for that sweet sweet fluff with a dash of nervousness and not-quite-understanding-but-eager-to-learn-about-humanity monster content. 👌👌👌 That's the good stuff right there.
It's been said and written many times before that the twins tend to leak their true forms when flustered/in love/~spicy times~ happen, but could the same also be said when they're angered? Not annoyance or impatience, or "Gods not this twat again", but actual, unbridled pissed off anger.
Scenarios abound because brainrot real.
Emmet happens across a small group of onlookers while doing his rounds, curious to what caused the gathering. Lo and behold, Darling is there, dealing with a rude patron. He goes in to take care of it, but gets a front row seat to a sucker punch at Darling. He can feel his form starting to split as he not-so-gently shoves the attacker back towards the other Depot Agents, barely holding it together as he gives orders. When they leave and the gathering is ushered on their ways, he briskly leaves to the employee only areas, away from humanity's sight. Darling follows in concern, knowing that Emmets is barely held together with only force and will, and finds him cracking out of his human shape. Both travel to his office away from prying eyes, where Darling thankfully manages to convince him to not kill/erase the attacker or to not cause grevious harm, and comforts him with care and reaffirmations.
Ingo and Darling are in the tunnels for safety checks and maintinence, Darling on lights while Ingo's on the tracks. The light to their left's alright, the second one just started, when rapidly approaching footsteps catch their ears. Darling looks down in time to see a trio of troublemakers approaching before their ladder gives way with a shove. The world is alight with pain and stars in the air when they collide with the railing. When the world is clear again, they hear retreating footsteps and screams fading to the distance, and can feel the darkness surrounding them. Ingo's form is cracking, threatening to swallow the tunnel (perhaps beyond) with the little that's already out. Darling pushes up off the track, and Ingo is instantly next to them, focusing on them with the troublemakers pushed out of mind. His upper face is stuck in shadows with a few too many silver eyes, and is hugged all the same. Legs having turned to jelly, Darling is swept up by Ingo and carried down the tunnel. Reaffirmations carry down the tunnel softly as the pair travel down.
Put it under spoiler tag 'cause is long ^^
Emmet didn't bother walking, in truth. He took a step forward, and his destination became a far closer than a single mortal stride ever would take him.
An unruly passenger. Someone whose heart was overtaken by anger, over what? A train running late? A missing pass? What silly things to be so upset over.
They would have far more pressing concerns soon enough.
"…and FUCK you!"
"Please, Sir, I'm just following procedure- We can replace your pass, but I need to see your I.D-"
Oh?
The sound of your voice surprised and alarmed him- Weren't you on break?
And the way that mortal spoke to you-
"Out of my way." Emmet demanded, briskly moving towards the sound of your voice and across the clusters of customers and would-be passengers in front of him.
All that mattered was you-
"For the last fucking time, I ain't showing you shit-"
"I'm going to have to ask you to leave, sir. You're causing a disturbance-"
"Like hell I am! I'll cause as much of a disturbance as I want!"
You sighed heavily, trying your best to maintain your composure. Though to be fair- Would Emmet and Ingo even punish you if you didn't? Given how they treated you now, and especially now that you knew- Or well, sort of knew- What they were, they'd probably think it very endearing-
"…All because YOU won't do your fucking job!"
You shook your head, looking around, and barely paying attention to the insults being hurled at you- Few customers were watching, and fewer still were even in the area. You'd already called Gear Station Security, and all that was left was to wait the few minutes it would take for them to arrive. One way or another, this man wouldn't be getting a free pass, or even another ride on the train. How unfortunate. Not.
And then you heard a familiar clicking of heels. Not like the any of your coworkers walked, but a strange rhythmic, distinctive clicking- Of a man who was more like a oricorio then any human.
But who really wasn't a human at all, was he?
"Oh, Emme-!" You shouted, gesturing for him to come over- Anyone to deal with this slimeball- But your words faltered, looking at the glint of venomous ire in his eyes.
"Fucking pay attention-!"
And out of the corner of your eye, you saw the man approach- And specifically you saw his fist.
And closed your eyes, turning your head away in anticipation of the blow- That connected with your face, but far lighter than you'd thought he'd strike-
"What the- fucking-"
"Oh my. Someone isn't following proper safety procedures."
You turned to see not your attacker, but Emmet- Standing between you and the customer, holding their fist in his own hand-
Crack.
"Fucking- OW!"
The man winced, and Emmet kicked his legs out from under him- Still holding his clenched hand.
"Shut up." He continued, his voice as icy and dead as seemingly possible-
"Who the fuck-"
"I said. Shut up." Emmet repeated.
The man opened his mouth to speak- And nothing came out. His frame trembling, his eyes wide-
"Sir!"
"We're so sorry, we were responding-"
Your coworkers- And two security guards- Stopped when they saw you, lying on the ground with a slowly blooming bruise on your cheek- And their awe-inspiring Lord and Master holding down the worm had injured you.
"Em-Emmet-"
Emmet's attention lingered on the man a moment more before he shoved him backwards- Falling down to your side.
"My poor love-" "Are you alright?"
"It's- It's just a bruise, it'll heal-" You spoke carefully. If you made too light of it, they wouldn't pay attention to your words- If you made it too serious, they wouldn't be as merciful as you were trying to train them to be.
His smile was pained as his silver eyes scrutinized the blemish on your face. His hand caressed the corner of your face, squishing your cheek and making you wince. His eyes narrowed.
"You've been hurt." He remarked. Yes, you wanted to say, but that doesn't mean you need to erase this guy-
You pushed his hand away, making him flinch. "I'm fine, Emmet." You retorted. He opened his mouth to protest, but decided against it, turning his attention to the Depot Agents behind you.
"Ramses. Remove this man. He is not allowed in Gear Station. Or any station for that matter. Ever again. You three. Assist him."
Ramses nodded, and the rest of the depot agents followed his orders- And Emmet picked you up, dusting you off.
"You alright?" Ramses asked. He may not have been a particular kind Agent, but he wasn't apathetic, either- And the bruise on your cheek was turning an awful shade of reddish-brown, and rather quickly.
"I- I'm really okay, that was just a bit of a shock, really."
Emmet grabbed your shoulder tighter. His mouth split open again, but no voice came out.
"Emmet." You warned, noticing the dangerously bright glint in his slit-like pupils. His gaze turned back to you.
"Daaarling…" he pouted. "Fine. You need medical attention. Come with me."
"Wait-"
But he would not listen to your protests, and in a flurry of movement you were in the back hallways of Gear Station being lead away with your beloved, most likely towards a med station or something-
"Emmet," You began, trying to get his attention.
He kept walking, drumming his free hand against his lips- His mouth wordlessly opening and closing.
"Emmet-"
His stare intensified down the hallway, his pace picking up as he muttered to himself in a voice quite unlike the voice of Station Master Emmet. "He shouldn't be ali-"
"EMMET!" You raised your own voice, grabbing his arm with your free hand.
Emmet stopped walking, looking at you out of the corner of his eye.
"…Yes?" He finally answered.
"I- …I'm okay. You already banned the guy from Gear Station, you don't need to do anything else." You explained. "I'm okay."
His grip on your hand tightened.
"But that man hurt you."
You sighed. "Y-Yes he did, but that doesn't mean he deserves death."
Emmet's head tilted away from you. "He deserves worse-"
You shook your head, squeezing his hand back. "No, he really doesn't."
You continued on. "You don't need to react so strongly, Emmet- Yes, that guy did something bad, but- He's going to suffer enough being banned from the Subway, don't you think? Look at me."
He shook his head.
"Emmet… Please look at me."
"…No."
You looked down at his hand. One, two, three… Four, five, six- Seven- fingers? Clothed like the glove, but different.
"I don't mind what you look like." You offered. "You have extra fingers on your hand right now, you know."
He tried to pull his hand away. You held on. "All that means to me is I have more hand to hold. And I'm not letting go."
You squeezed it harder. "You were really cool back there, you know."
His body relaxed. Oh?
"It was thanks to you that this bruise wasn't worse. And it was super cool how you leapt out to save me. And how you grabbed his hand. And you shut him up just by intimidating him."
The face of your beloved began turning towards you.
"I'm so glad to have such a wonderfully strong boss who works so hard to protect me."
You leaned against him. "And I'm very glad you listened to me,"
"So won't you please look at me?"
Emmet turned his face to you- His smile pursed, his eyes- Cracking. Like dried up, ancient plaster, revealing a shadowy shape underneath- His mouth came open a little bit, the maw darkened within- His sideburns giving way to feathers and fur and silky-shimmering-ribbons of white and silver. His pupils were slits, glowing with the smallest hint of light- Yet still bright enough to make the lights of the hall seem dim and dull in comparison. You grabbed his cheek, holding his face in front of you.
"L-Love," He stuttered out, as you rubbed the corners of his cracked face.
"Shh. You've done good, Emmet." You remarked, gently tracing the edge of the visible feathers- They were soft, and cool and warm and perfect to touch. Your hand shivered as you brushed them, and he closed his eyes gently and slowly, watching you the whole time.
"You did good. Thank you."
---------------------------------------------------------------------
"Stay close to me," Ingo ordered. You nodded quietly and cautiously, and Ingo's arm went around your shoulders, pulling you close to him.
"We don't know what exactly is down here- You wanted to see what it might be?"
"…Yes." You nodded again, looking up at the Subway Boss. Despite the darkness, his silver eyes shone brighter than the light around you. It was frightening- The tunnels of the Subway were dark, twisting- And ever-shifting and ever-turning. Ever since you learnt the truth of your bosses, you'd learned the truth of Gear Station too- And how the tunnels were constently the subject of attacks from… Other things.
And your curiosity got the better of you.
You wanted to see these Other things, if you could. Besides, if Ingo and Emmet were as powerful as they said they were, resassuring you that you would never be hurt by those Other Things- Would it be such a problem if you wanted to encounter one? Especially with them to protect you.
Ingo wrapped his arm around you, even tighter. "I won't let you go."
You hugged him back.
The two of you walked carefully in the dark tunnels- Your footsteps clicking, yet not echoing- The light illuminating the edges of the tunnels seemed dimmed, somehow- Offset by the brightness of the fire-lights of Ingo's dear chandelure, floating around the two of you in contentment as it moved back and forth around the tunnel.
You stayed mostly silent, listening carefully as you approached the strange sound, echoing down the halls of the Subway Tunnel. It only grew louder and louder, a horrible screechy-groaning-grinding sound that reverberated in your ears and left them ringing. Ingo grabbed you harder, stepping forward- His silver eyes blinked slowly under the brim of his hat, less like a blink and more as though he were paying attention to something-
"Ah." He remarked- And you turned your head up to him, tilting your head curiously. "A T-junction is stuck, it seems. …I don't believe it's anything… Supernatural, my dear."
"You can tell all that, just from closing your eyes a second?" You asked, raising an eyebrow.
"…I can tell you anything I like about these tunnels, my Love." He drummed his hand along your shoulder, making you shiver. "Here, let us deal with that racket, first. It must hurt your ears."
You nodded, and the two of you approached the problem area, rounding the corner to see the T-junction beam bent out of shape, and several of the tunnel lights humming and flickering-
"Hmm." Ingo noted. "I'll handle the rail. Will you take a look at the lights?" You nodded in response, already rolling up your sleeves. The lights didn't seem to be out, but were certainly behaving strangely- No doubt due to some Joltiks having themselves a feast, you guessed.
Ingo hopped down over the railing of the maintenance trail and you settled in front of the circuit box for the lights, and- Yup, chewed through, frayed wires. Nothing a little electrical tape, and a few replacement wires, wouldn't fix, you were certain. You couldn't help but turn to Ingo while you taped some of the exposed bits up- Ever curious as to what he was doing. He looked down at the bent, twisted rail, grinding against itself, and suddenly it was engulfed in shadows- And a loud clunk and bang later, the shadows unraveled, and the rail was- Fine. Better than fine- It looked brand new.
You were about to ask him what exactly he'd done, when suddenly you heard a shuffling in the darkness of the tunnel- And you turned your head to see a large, heavy thing rapidly moving towards you- Falling on top of you. A ladder. What was a ladder doing here?
Ingo heard your yelp in surprise, and you flinched, unable to move.
"Holy shit-" "Bolt!" "Go!"
The impact never came.
"Are you alright?"
You opened your eyes nervously- The ladder that had been threatening to squish you like a wurmple was nowhere to be seen. Instead, Ingo was holding you. Tightly.
"A monster-!" "Holy fucking shit-"
You craned your neck to see the shadows of- Teens. Of course. Bolting their way up an access ladder back into a street above the tunnel, where sunlight poured down- But was blocked by a shadowy shape, reaching out into the rays, almost looking like they pulled at the light- Covering the walls and undulating like a living mass of darkness- Which is what it was, wasn't it?
"Darling?"
You turned your head to look at Ingo again- A shadowy figure dripping with darkness, with silver lights of eyes looking down at your figure. You felt the cold, smooth tentacles wrapping around your skin and cradling you tightly.
"I-I- I think I'm okay," You breathed heavily, feeling your heart beginning to settle from the shock. The shadowy figure picked you up, cradling you tightly against his chest-
"Y-You're a lot larger like this," You remarked. "All the better to protect you, my Dear." He purred back. "I would hate to think about what might have happened had you been injured…"
"Thank- Thank you, Ingo."
Your boss-turned-Sweetheart-turned-inhuman-monster cuddled you tighter. "Let us return to the safety of Gear Station… I would feel better if you were there, especially to recover…"
And off he went, carrying you- Settling back into a more human form, silvery-eyes looking at you from out of the darkness, closing the moment you made eye contact with them. "You're cute like this."
Ingo stopped for a second, the eyes shutting around him as the ones on his face widened. "W-What? What do you mean?"
"Your eyes. They're pretty. Like starlight. And your shadows, they're very comforting-" And you craned your neck, kissing him on the cheek-
"But not as comforting as having such a protective sweetheart like you around, Ingo."
"I- I-"
You almost giggled at how flustered he sounded, stuttering out words as his fingers dug into your sides where he carried you- And other hands grabbed, holding you tightly.
"That- That is, it would be- Expected, I would think-"
"Expected or not, thank you for protecting me, Love."
He took a deep breath. "Of course, My love." He gripped you even tighter- Almost painfully so. "Be a little cautious with your words," He breathed out, his voice strangely calm. "I have quite little patience when it comes to being so tormented by your affections, My dear."
You could feel a blush spreading across your face- And if there was any light left in the tunnels, you would've been able to see that Ingo had much the same across his own human features.

Alright but they way that my tiny touch-starved being is, I can imagine how comfy hugs are from each set of twins-
Plain ol’ twins; just barely hiding in their coats as they hug you from the front-
Droids; might be a lil cold from the metal but I bet they got some heat core tomfoolery to warm the both of us up-
Eldritch; I’ve always wanted to know what hugs from shadows and feathers both feel like, just being lost in their innumerable wings, claws, scales and whatnot- every hug could be different depending on the day!
Driders; fluffy back and legs + the little clicks and buzzes they make when they’re happy, sign me up-
Hydreigons; wrapped up in their six wings to the point where you can’t tell human from hybrid-
I want ALL OF THEM to help my attention-starved existence. Thank you for listening to my Ted talk.
-lemon tea anon 🍋 🍵
Honest to god that's how I feel 🥲 Lemme just have hugs from my boys, pretty please-
I always thought the image of the twins having a small darling would be really cute- Like Emmet is hugging you and then he just wraps his long coat around you and you're squirming trying to escape while he's laughing- A Depot agent comes up to see what all the commotion is about and Emmet shushes them, telling them to be real quiet like- Before he asks the Depot Agent if they'd like... to purchase... a Darling- And swishing his coat open to reveal you glaring at him. Woe be unto the Depot Agent that actually tries to purchase you though. You're priceless to your sweethearts, after all. Ingo loves hugging you, or using you in the middle of the day as a pillow to squeeze while he rests his head. He'll wrap both of you in his coat- It makes a lovely impromptu blanket.
I decided to say the 'droids have quantum computers inside of them- But if you don't know, quantum computers... In their current states require temperatures as close to absolute zero as we can possibly get in order for them to work. So if they do have qubits running their brains, they are probably venting a lot of heat all the time- Especially because they have a generator inside of them as well. Hugging them is toasty, and during the Summer they are extra toasty. Of course they also run on pokemon-logic, so maybe they just have some NeverMeltIce jammed into those processors of theirs. I have also been playing around with some- Dare I say, body horror- that might get invoked with their physical interactions with their darling. But I digress; Their hugs are generally toasty, and they will grab you from afar to pull you in for one.
Eldritch boys just constantly hold you. The rare times you're alone, you can almost always feel their presence- Lurking in the shadows and out of sight- And sometimes you get pulled into darkness when you step into the shadows- Only to find yourself in Gear Station, being held by Ingo. "I missed you," He explains, tendrils and shadows coiling around you. His body dripping with the inky void that makes up his true form. Emmet grows jealous, and takes you away the moment he can. Whining as he holds you against him, a thousand voices wondering why you didn't ask him to come cuddle you too? He wants your affections- He's far softer than his brother, and prettier too! And then they spend your sleeping hours curled around you, a bed of fluffy feathers and scales and ink and light, cradling you in their claws and arms- Their precious soulmate. Their darling soulmate.
Driders have a difficult time with the hugging thing- Humans are much shorter than them, and though they have their four arms and their pedipalps, it's difficult for them to hug you- But you can hug them easily, especially if you're riding on their back. It's a place of honor, really- To be allowed on their fluffy back side, cuddling them while being carried everywhere. Their only complaint is that they cannot look at you. Though that is easily fixed. They can hug you easily by placing you in a hammock of webbing, or trapping you under them... They can also carry you- Supporting you in one set of arms and hugging you close with the other pair, kissing you with their spider mouths.
The hydreigon boys have an easy time hugging you- You just have to avoid being nommed on by them. Being bitten is their love language. Bite them back. They'll bite you in their sleep, they'll bite you while they're awake- They'll trap you in a cage of their wings, enjoying the fright on your face- That looks to them like adoration. Together, the six wings become twelve, and they lock you against them- Snapping at each other if they think the other is causing you discomfort. They kiss you, nursing on your skin, refusing to let up- Nesting with you in a lovely bed they've prepared of furs and moss and bones and flowers, while your feet are wrapped up in their tails.

Shdjfkj loving all of the monter fucker darling asks lmao 💟
would seeing emmet in a more natural state affect darling mentally? maybe experience some of that eldritch madness™ but it mixes with horny to create a sucker-for-love style obession with seeing the pretty winged monster thing again so they can fuck it? it might start off with the 'monster' constantly being on darlings mind, which makes the twins very happy. but it evolves into them skipping meals in favor of trying to research any myths, rumors, anything they can find and losing sleep as they sneak around the subway at night, which makes the twins less happy.
darling can't help themsleves tho. after all, it's them!!! the pretty monster that the pretty feather came from. they have to see it again. no matter the cost. of course, everytime darling tries hijinx ensue and alas our eldritch abominations have been cock-blocked again
but at the same time, i imagine darling might try to distance themselves from ingo and emmet at work because 'how would my bosses that are very keen on my safety react to me trespassing at night just to sleep with some monsters?'

Aight so- I've been absent from posting about the Eldritch boys for a bit longer than a *hot* minute, and I'm fixing that. That said, this answer will be in two or more parts- Because it was getting excessively long. Like I mean, *excessively* long. The first time I wrote this, before my pc died, it was at ~15k words- Currently this one is sitting at ~8k?? But I am splitting it up just so I start posting again lol That said, I really hope you enjoy Apple! I'm sorry about my absence, I've missed writing a lot! This is a redo partly of the Darling meeting Eldritch Emmet in the first place- With more. And an aftermath, for the time being. Tags: Eldritch Submas AU, Little Angst, Multi-Part Pain, Very Long
---
“It’s really such a shame,” You began, shouting into the darkness of the unending tunnels of the Subway, partially to distract yourself from the terrifying noises echoing through the concrete hallways and partially to, hopefully, attract whatever “monster” was lurking down here. “That I haven’t seen any beautiful, scary, monsters down here yet!”
You half-believed the rumors, and yet, half-didn’t. Agent Cameron had been the one to mention it first to you, prankster that he was- Perhaps he was going to try to frighten you? That would be silly. At this point you’d be frightening him, with your declarations of half-begging the monster to come fuck you and steal you away like some valuable prize-
Still though. Cameron didn’t seem to have been lying when you’d overheard him and some of the other agents of your work discussing the rumor- Not to mention, you yourself had noticed how… there was always an odd feeling hanging about the air of Gear Station. And especially in the tunnels. You assumed it must’ve been due to the sounds of trains running- Heavy machinery in the distance, always out of sight, your mind playing tricks on you to ascribe some meaning to the clanking of gears and grinding of chains- Turning them into the heavy footsteps of clawed feet and growls of some feral beast-
But still.
There might’ve been a chance, you know? “I sure hope no beautiful, huge, magnificent monster shows up after alllll this time I’ve spent down here,” You shouted again- “That would REALLY be a shame! Especially if it tried to pry off all these loose fitting clothes I’m wearing and bend me over and fuck me stupid, that would be TERRIBLE-”
So stupid. Cameron would be begging you to stop any second now-
And then you heard it.
A clicking.
Of something tapping against a concrete wall.
Your words faltered as you noticed the sound- Certainly louder than a Galvantula prowling the tunnels, you thought- And suddenly a whirlwind blur of light and feathers descended upon you, pinning you to the ground of the annex tunnel as strange, soft- Claws? Dug into your arms gently. The air was knocked out of you, your eyes tearing up from straining as they tried to adjust to the light- The blurry form of whatever was holding you down slowly coming into focus. And you gasped. “Would that realllllly be such a shame?” Asked the thing in a whining tone- a hollow smile on it’s strange, mask-like face.
You were too enraptured to reply, hardly noticing it’s words- The creature holding you down was no pokemon, nor human- Something strange and foreign yet painfully familiar, though you couldn’t recall ever having seen something like this- This entity before you-
It’s body was humanoid, though it’s chest was covered in soft, silky, white down that shimmered and shined and wavered- Emerging from it’s backside was an indescribable amount of wings, some with long, lacy feathers that drooped and undulated- Moving less like feathers and more like- tendrils of some sea creature. Other wings were more like a bird’s- Or an angel's. Fluttering and folding around the monstrous entity holding you down. It’s legs were equally feathered, ending in strange, shifting claws that hurt to focus on- Your eyes drifted back up, looking into it’s face.
Hollow, black eyes stared back at you from the mask-like covering on it’s face. A strange, ephemeral light shining out of them, darting around at you like irises of eyes- Peculiar, glowing eyes that they would be, if they were. Behind it’s head was a radiant halo, flaring with light and strange symbols arching over it’s silvery… hair. The horns on the side of it’s head looked strange, and familiar in a different way- And the hollow mouth carved into it’s smooth, white face was held open in a perpetual grin. It brought a claw over to your face, gently touching you as you looked up at it dreamily. The light emitting from it’s form was beautiful and wonderful to behold-
And you couldn’t look away.
Your eyes took in the light, far brighter than the darkness of the tunnel- And a feeling overtook you as though the whole of the world were blotted away in darkness, as your vision was more and more consumed by the radiance-
You couldn’t look away.
“…My darling?” “-Pretty darling-” “Lovely-?” “Your eyes are so verrry pretty like this-” "Sparkling with such wonderful light-"
Your attention gradually shifted to the words it was trying to speak to you- The whispering cacophony of voices in your ear was curious, sounding like one single voice speaking over itself, over and over and over- Terribly difficult to focus on, but you could make out shapes of eyes and mouth-things opening and closing around the head of the creature, and- Across it’s body.
But now that you’d taken in it’s appearance, your thoughts were racing.
There really was a monster of Gear Station.
A beautiful creature, white and sparkling and dazzling and more beautiful than anything you’d ever seen- Everything about it soft and silky, strangely dazzling- It’s claws, it’s body, it’s wings, it’s voices- Smooth and soft and- More desirable than anything you’d ever seen or felt before.
And the monster seemed to be responding to your flirtations…? Calling you darling, pretty, lovely-
Oh sweet Sinnoh above, you thought- A monster. A real, living, breathing monster! And it seemed- It seemed to like you-?
You reached your free hand upwards, trying to touch it’s face. And the strange hollow eyes on it’s mask closed blearily as it leaned into your touch, a trickle of a silver fluid drooling out of it’s mouth as a large, silvery tongue flecked out to catch it- Splitting into several tendrils as they retreated into the darkness of it’s smiling maw. Your eyes strained as you looked up at it’s head, your vision blurring against the harsh light-
You were about to speak, and the monster was too-
When suddenly something shadowy emerged behind it, grabbing the creature forcefully and pulling it away with a sharp whine.
“No, no no no! Wait, come back!” You cried, bolting upright- The tunnel was impossibly dark as your eyes tried to readjust to the low, almost non-existent light of the annex hall- “I wasn’t being serious when I said that it’d be a shame, Please, come back!” You cried out into the darkness, reaching for your lamp- Had something taken the monster, or had it pulled itself away for some reason-? Either way, you were upset. It had been beautiful. It had been so gentle, aside from- Well, knocking you over. It's eagerness- Yeah, sure, that's what it was- Was adorable.
“Let me go, let me go- Brother-!” Kudari thrashed against the heavy, thick shadows binding him and blocking out his light- “Darling wanted me- How dare you! I was going to kiss them, touch them-! I want Darling!” Ingo looked up at his younger brother, a sad, pitiful look on his face. How innocent he could be sometimes. “Brother-” He bound his brother as he settled back into a more human form- Still adorned with horns and claws and extraneous limbs and wings, but his body and face were certainly that of Station Master Emmet’s- “Brother, stop thrashing-” “No! Let me go! Darling wanted me-!” “I said stop-” "No! Now let go!" And suddenly, there was a loud click- And the two were illuminated by the brilliant light of a rail lamp. Your rail lamp. Shining down on Subway Boss Ingo restraining the half-shifted form of Subway Boss Emmet, staring up at you in shock with several more eyes on his face than a human should have, wings and feathers retracting and halting.
Emmet’s mouth hung open in terror, ready to begin explaining away what was happening- Ingo looked at you nervously. You weren’t reacting-? When-
Click. You turned the lamp off.
Click. You turned it on again. Click. You turned it off. Again.
Emmet looked up at you. Standing there blankly in the annex tunnel, flicking your lamp on and off. He turned his gaze to his brother, who was staring at you as well- His mouth shut tightly, and his eyes clearly pained. What-
“Darn thing had to go out, of course-” You mumbled to yourself.
And you grabbed at the side of the tunnel with your unlit lamp, trying to feel your way along the side.
Emmet’s voice failed him- And he ceased all his struggles against his brother’s grip, even though Ingo was no longer holding him tightly. Both were staring at you, a terribly sick feeling sinking deep into their hearts. Emmet collapsed to the ground, the permanent smile on his face completely gone; Replaced with a terrible heartache
No. No. No no no no-! Not you, he didn’t-
A small, delicate light appeared in front of you- reflecting back the glassy haze over your eyes that would not- could not- focus on.
No. No. No. No. Not his darling- Not his precious, beloved, little darling-! Not again, not again- “He-Hello?” You nervously asked to the darkness- It was taking very long for your eyes to readjust, wasn’t it? There should’ve been lights in the annex tunnels for you to see anyway… But the sound of something sobbing distracted you.
“M-Mister monster?” You called out into the darkness- Was that what you were hearing-?
With Emmet barely two feet in front of you, a soft light emanating from him- Illuminating you, illuminating the tunnel, and the growing shadows beside him. Not that you could see him-
You’d been blinded. Completely and utterly blinded.
Emmet kicked off of the ground, away from his brother. Levitating. He held his mouth as he choked back sobs, trying not to be heard by you- “I- I’m so sorry-” He stuttered out, the voice of your beloved boss covered by the chorus that answered you instead- Before he turned and fled from your presence. He couldn’t bear it- He’d hurt you, he’d hurt you so horribly-
“Wait, no! Come back!” You cried after the monster- Why was it fleeing- It said it was sorry? For what?
Ingo stood next to you, watching you painfully. He couldn’t blame his brother, nor admonish him for his foolish actions; There was nothing to say, not now that you were like this. Ingo’s shadows licked at the edge of wall he stood next to- as they shifted, the wall beneath it crumbled, ceasing to exist.
You blindly stumbled ahead, trying to feel for anything familiar. Ingo moved away from you apprehensively.
It was terrible to watch you like this, yet he knew he could not leave you be. Emmet would not have left either, but- Ingo understood. He understood it painfully well. They loved the lie of pretending to be mortal. They loved the lie of being your bosses, of being human-
Hurting you was the last thing the demons wanted to do. It was one of the worst things they could think to do. You were lucky, this time, to have avoided the pain, the burning- And the madness. And seeing you like this- Your eyes glassed over, unseeing-
Was a painful, harsh reminder of the truth they so ardently hated. You were a mortal human, flesh and blood and made in the image of the Creator Deity of this realm- As humans were. As all mortal creatures were-
What were they?
Things.
Aberrations, not meant to exist- And yet-
Here they were.
Bound by strange laws, strange knowledge, and stranger powers, antithetical to the nature of creation, yet inseparable from it. They were poison to your being, no matter how much they desired otherwise- Even if you were the panacea to the pain of their empty, empty hearts.
“I am- terribly sorry for having to do this.”
You flinched and shouted at the deep, thunderous voice rumbling directly in front of you. It was not like the delicate voice you heard from the beautiful glowing monster, but equally as beautiful. Could- Could it be, you thought-?
“Who- Are you another monster?” You weakly asked, trembling- The fact you couldn’t see this one made you grow strangely terrified-
“...Yes.”
“A-Alright. What was that you just said a second ago?” You asked, reaching a hand out into the darkness- It was becoming strange. Why couldn’t you see the lights of the annex tunnel at least? Surely they hadn’t gone out when the monster appeared- “I’m sorry if I’m acting kind of strange, I- I uh, can’t see.”
“I know. The other one is sorry. I am too.”
“Wh… What?”
“It is our fault. I tried to pull him away. His light hurt you. We are sorry, little Darling.”
“You mean, I can’t see because of that monster?”
“...Yes.”
It’s words dripped with ache and sadness- The deep voice quivering as it answered softly, and achingly.
You felt a strange, smooth, shifting and liquidous thing- caressing the edge of your face, shaped like a human hand, almost-
“This will not hurt. I am sorry that this happened to you.”
“Wait, wait- What won’t-?”
But without another word, you felt something- squishy, smooth, cold- wrap around your face- Muffling your voice. You felt your eyes forced shut- And a feeling like you were falling, and then-
You opened your eyes to find yourself standing- Or rather, stumbling- In the Gear Station lobby.
“Good GODS ABOVE-”
You heard a familiar voice behind you half scream, and half-squeal. Wheeling around, who else could it have been but-
Depot Agent Cameron, collapsed into a heap on the floor of what he had known to be a completely deserted Gear Station lobby, only to suddenly see you behind him.
“Oh! Uh, Hello- Agent Cameron, Sir.” You cheerily answered, brushing yourself off- Somehow your outfit was back on you- Something the monster had done-?
“How-did-you-get-there-you-fucking-terrified-me-you-got-damn-”
As much as Cameron loved to scare others, he was terrible with frights himself- And it took a fair while to calm him down, especially with your own confusion- What excuse could you cook up for how you snuck up behind him in an entirely empty lobby, after hours at Gear Station?
“Well, you see… I was handling some uhh, extra… paperwork… the uh, Station Masters asked me to deal with- And uh, time just got away from me! I was trying to sneak out quietly, I didn’t mean to frighten you.”
Having calmed down, Cameron stared at you- Feeling a terrible smirk trying to creep it's way onto his face. While it was extremely tempting to mess with you- The Station Masters would probably be angry, or worse, your excuse probably had something to do with them, didn’t it…?
“And what are you two doing here so late?”
Oh no-
And from behind you, Station Master Ingo walked up rather briskly- His heavy coat swishing behind him, heels clicking against the elegant marble flooring of the station-
Cameron saluted quickly. “Station Master, Sir! I was just- finishing the cleaning that had to be taken care of tonight, and they were just about to head out, Sir!”
You looked up at your boss nervously. You didn’t actually have a reason to be here this late, and Ingo would know that.
“Agent…” He began- That awful growl in his voice, reminding you of that monster- You were in for it now, weren’t you? Prowling around Gear Station was something both Ingo and Emmet despised, no matter who was doing it. They were almost always calm, but- When dealing with hooligans or delinquents or journalists or any other nosy people poking about where they were not wanted- Trying to break into the access vents or tunnels or wandering the Employees-only areas of Gear Station…
They became terrifyingly angry. Dragging people out by the scruff of their necks and chucking them across the Gear Station lobby like dolls, and then banning them from the Unovan Transit Lines entirely… You would shudder at the memories if you thought of them, and you were trying not to. How would Ingo react to you having been wandering around the station so late at night…? You were a Depot Agent, and you were in the lobby… Hopefully they hadn’t noticed anything… Strange…?
The Station Master looked you up and down, before grabbing your cap, adjusting it on your head. “It’s rather late, Agent. Be safe heading home.” He added quickly, turning away. “Continue your work, Agent Cameron- If you’re not done by midnight, you’ll be cleaning the entirety of the lobby during your morning shift, is that understood?”
“A-Absolutely, Boss!” He grabbed at the mop he was holding as your boss walked away- Sighing heavily. You turned your attention back to your unfortunate coworker. What exactly was he cleaning up? Some weird black stain of something. Whatever it was, it looked foul, though it didn’t seem to smell like anything…?
“You weren’t here when it was stinking to high heaven. I’ve been scrubbing for the past hour.” Cameron bemoaned. Judging by the way he was cracking his back, he wasn’t lying, either.
“Where’s everyone else then? Shouldn’t you have someone to help you?”
Cameron propped himself up on the mop, leaning over sheepishly. “I… may or may not be responsible for this uh, mess.”
You blinked in realization. “Oh… Wait, don’t you have a Muk?”
“Skunktank, actually- But yes. Foul stuff.”
“Ah. Well- Would you like some help?” You offered, coming closer-
“ABSOLUTELY NOT!” He screamed- Suddenly blocking your approach to the mess on the floor. “Er- You’re done your shift, aren’t you? You should get some rest! Head home! Relax! I’m good. Besides, Jackie will be annoyed if I make you do my work, haha- I’m almost done, anyway!”
Poor Cameron, in actuality, was not dealing with a Skunktank’s mess on the floor, but rather the remains of some lower worm that had crawled through a tear in the tunnels. It was his fault it’d managed to crawl through- And he was quite lucky to have his punishment only be cleaning up the physical remains it had left in the lobby after Lord Nobori had been nice enough to snap his fingers and cause the creature to explode, unfortunately all over the pretty marble flooring of the lobby. He absolutely could not allow you to come in contact with this thing. He was technically not a human- But you were. He did not need you to get any of this foul goop on you and explain to his Oh-so-very noble lords why you would be writhing in agony and turning into soup on the floor. Absolutely not.
Well, you thought- If he was so insistent, then nothing was to be done. You bid him good night, and headed out.
But the moment you stepped out of Gear Station, into the quiet cool of the night-
Why had you been at Gear Station so late? You wondered.
You- You’d been wandering the tunnels, looking for something…
But what?
Whatever it’d been was gone from your mind, and you couldn’t recollect it.
You were still walking back to your apartment- Gently rubbing your head with increasing frequency. Why did you have such an awful headache? It was truly terrible- The street lights above you hummed- The harsh glare that radiated from the overhead lamps certainly didn’t help your headache. You shook your head again, stepping into the dimmed lights of the halls of your apartment complex.
And a masked figure watched you enter- From far away, of course- His clawed hands dug curiously into the side of the stone building he was resting against, hollow eyes watching you enter into your abode.
There was no longer a mouth upon his mask- And a curious fluid- dark yet light yet red yet silver- dripped from the blackened eye-holes through which no eyes could be seen.
Nobori fixed you. At least, Nobori fixed you-
He tried to sooth himself- You were safe. You were safe. Healed.
From the injuries he gave you.
The thing moved silently across the street, drifting from light to light- It’s body hidden under shifting silken silver robes, and it’s light obscured by a curious hat- Following you. The door to your apartment complex swung open, and you hurried in- The air felt particularly strange tonight, though perhaps it was merely the lateness of the hour. The time of ghost pokemon, the time of hauntings- You caught yourself turning your head behind you more than once.
Nothing was there- So it seemed.
It was strange, certainly. The sense you had. Perhaps some ghost pokemon lurking around? Perhaps. And you shuffled into your apartment- Flicking on the lamps that seemed to be… brighter, somehow- Perhaps your headache-?
A quick shower had you feeling far too exhausted to stay up much later, and you made your way to your bed, cuddling into the soft comforting plushness of your pillow. Perhaps it was how exhausted you were- But it felt nicer than normal- Listening to the gentle sounds of the Nimbasan streets and the soft, almost musical hum of your apartment’s A/C-
And before you knew it, you were asleep.
The thing sat above you, looking down as you rested against it’s tail. The adorable way your hands gripped it, snuggling your face into it’s fur- What could be called an arm reached out from the ephemeral edges of the creature, gently trailing against your shoulders and neck. Kudari brushed your hair back, humming to himself gently. Partly to soothe you into sleeping, and partly to soothe his own, new-found nerves.
You were alright, weren’t you? You didn’t recall anything. If anything at all, it would be a bad dream.
“Dearest love,” He murmured. His voices whispered and stuttered, falling short- Speaking words and uttering sounds meaningless to you- Continuing to caress you gently. The feathers trailed against your skin, clinging to you as sunk into the fluff covering his body.
You were so very precious to them.
“I love you.” It whispered.
“Mm, you too…”
The creature’s feathers stood on end at your quiet mumbling.
“What did you say?”
But you did not respond again, instead only murmuring in your sleep and tossing- You wouldn’t wake up, of course- And you didn’t, though you clutched it’s tail harder with every movement you made, sinking into the fluff-
You really were so very precious to them. And the creature curled itself around you and your bed like some horrifying guardian angel, claws and mouths pecking at you like a fretful mother-pidove, softly singing and softly humming with it’s horrible, otherworldly light- Kudari’s own feathers fluffed up around him, giving him a poofy mane as he settled into the sound of his own voice singing so sweetly for you- The bleary eye holes on it’s face narrowed- blinking, but never closing- Always keeping it’s eyes on you.
Sleep was such a precious, vulnerable thing- Emmet did not understand it in the sense humans engaged in it, but- Curled around you, listening to your gentle breaths- The innocent, adorable way you clung to him in your sleep- There was something about such an act that shook him with a growing, rabid curiosity- An obsession- that could not be satiated.
“I am sorry, little Darling. Sleep well.”
And then-
[Bzzt. Bzzt. Bzzt.]
You awoke with a start, hearing the familiar buzzing of your XTransceiver lying on your bedside table, and the sounds of traffic from the streets below. Sunlight poured into your apartment from a small window, casting rays from the gaps in the shutters on your floor. Just how late had you slept-
And oddly-
What had happened last night? You couldn’t recall. You’d searched for the supposed monster of Gear Station- And-
You’d… just… left, right?
You scratched your head. It felt oddly like more had happened- But you couldn’t recall anything. It felt like- No, it didn’t feel like anything, you argued back at yourself.
Like a dream you couldn’t recall- But knew that you had had.
You quickly got up, showered, and readied for the day. The green uniform of Gear Station suited you well, fitting perfectly and flattering your figure excellently, while being more than comfortable- Shoes went on, a quick, tasty breakfast scarfed down eagerly, and you were out the door as the morning sun continued to rise. Luckily your shift today started later than normal. The only thing you could think to complain about, sometimes, was how early you sometimes got up to work. It could be bothersome, getting ready at 6 in the morning and stumbling up out the door at 7, though Gear Station was open 24/7. The trains ran endlessly, constantly, consistently, and efficiently, and you were certain the Night workers were more tired than you could ever hope to be- And certainly Agent Jackie, or Ramses, or Cloud- It was rare you didn’t see them at Gear Station, even when you worked overtime, or especially the Station Masters themselves-
“Hey! Watch it!”
Your attention was returned to the angry driver honking at you in irritation as you crossed the street rapidly.
“I have the right of way, dumbass.” You muttered under your breath as you sprinted across the road. The driver made a sharp turn, speeding away. Traffic wasn’t usually so heavy in the morning, you thought, scanning the cars rolling down the street-
You squinted as you rounded the corner to Gear Station again. The harsh, intense sunlight, reflecting even brighter off of a brand new street sign put up- “Dearest Darling-” “So very, wonderfully, beautiful.”
You stumbled, suddenly reeling. The sunlight reminding you of the harsh, strange, bizarre-
Light.
The light of the thing-
It’s eerie, mask-like face, the strange halo of light, shifting in and out of your mind like a dream- Like the pavement before you now as your vision went out of focus.
Your mouth went dry as you fell against the side of the building you were next to.
How had you forgotten? How could you have forgotten-? That creature- The gentle way it spoke to you, the feeling of it’s claws along your skin, it’s fluffy, furry, feathery wings…
The strange, eerie grin upon it’s bizarre, hollow-eyed face. The wings wrapping around the edges of it’s grin-
You swallowed hard, heartbeat thudding in your chest. This thing was running around the tunnels of Gear Station-
“Good morning, Miss!”
Your thoughts were interrupted by Agent Jackie calling out to you. He waved, and you returned the gesture as well as you could.
“G-Good morning, Jackie. I-I need to clock in.”
“Of course, of course." He waved, not noticing your frazzled state it seemed- "Once you do, could you please deliver the electrical cabling that was dropped off at the Anville platform to platform C? Ramses will be there, you’ll be working with him and Joshua on replacing some wiring that’s worn away. Joltiks love chewing on them a little too much it seems.” Jackie seemed far too busy to notice, thank goodness, your rather frazzled state.
“Very- Very well, of course.”
Agent Jackie laughed lightly at his own remark, waving as you walked off- Your hand shaking nervously as you ran your card through the scanner and rushed over to the Anville platform, running into several passengers- More than once out of the corner of your eye, you saw things in the lights- Eyes or shadows or things reaching out at you, you swore-
But nothing was there.
Calm down, you told yourself. Calm down.
The load of wiring was heavy, and huge- Having been dropped off at a loading dock used by the Anville line trains to transport construction goods between the train stations. At the very least, it was already loaded onto the trolley- You just needed to haul it.
The loading dock itself was a much different part of Gear Station. Out of sight of civilian eyes, and along the maintenance tunnels.
It was strangely terrifying, now. You knew now, that the rumor of a monster in Gear Station were no longer a mere rumor.
It was true.
“Pretty Darling.”
You blushed as you recollected it’s words. The sweet, sonorous voice it possessed- Calling you darling. And- Had it heard all of what you’d said? It certainly seemed like it. The memories were still foggy as you pushed the cart into the maintenance tunnels- Heading straight for Platform C.
“Mister… Mister Monster?” You called out into the dark, rather nervously.
Why had you lost your memories anyway, you wondered? Was it- Was it the monster? Something told you that yes, yes it was- But the white thing had left-
And shadows had taken it away.
You pushed the cart, a headache beginning to form as you recalled even more. The thing in the shadows- Teleporting you out of the tunnels-
And it took your memories.
It was sorry it had done so.

It was sorry it had done so.
You pushed onward, slowing down a little.
Two monsters. Two monsters within the tunnels of the station- And for what purpose? They didn’t seem to be… bad, so to speak, but-
Surely the Station Masters wouldn’t be happy about this. Teleporting monsters that could take away people’s memories- That sounded like a safety hazard for certain.
But you also weren’t supposed to have been in the tunnels that late at night. You’d gone in at Cameron’s dare, essentially- Very immature of you, yes, but-
“My pretty, lovely, darling.”
Again it’s voice echoed in your head, making your ears ring and your heart thud. And you could’ve hugged Cameron for urging you to "test" your courage.
That beautiful, beautiful, creature.
It was so, incredibly beautiful-
Painfully so.
“Mister- Mister Monster!” You called out again, louder-
No response. Perhaps it only came out at night, you wondered? And the other one-
The one with the deep, dark voice-
Perhaps it as well, you wondered. You pushed the cart onward.
“Ah, there you are!”
You approached the landing dock for platform C, greeted by Agent Joshua as he ran over to assist. You hadn’t realized how heavy the cart had been until he pushed it away with ease, and you stretched your arms- Causing your shoulders to pop.
“Thanks for bringing this down, Miss. Sorry no one was available to help with this,” He heaved as he moved to pull the cart into position alongside the electrical paneling- “But there was a damaged rail down one of the Castelia lines and most everyone’s dealing with that, and then there’s been an issue with several of the engine carts and they’ve been dragged out to Anville…”
Joshua rambled on, and you nodded, not paying much attention- The lamp light of Ramses’ lamp reminding you of the night prior, and the dim light of the tunnel in the corner of your eyes moving around and making you almost jump with a strange mix of fear and hope every time you tried to focus on it-
“I-Is everything alright, Miss-?” Joshua asked, after watching your head snap several times into the darkness- Unusual for you, he noted. You kept your attention towards wherever there was movement, people, normally, right? Like most humans-
“Everything is fine, I just- I keep thinking I see things in the dark, is all.”
“Oh, there’s nothing there. ‘Cept maybe some little pokemon, but they won’t bother us. And even if they do, me and Magnezone will take care of ‘em, of course!”
Joshua patted his pokeballs at his side confidently. You smiled at his reassurance- But perhaps…
You wondered.
“…But what about mons-” You began- Only for Ramses to interrupt you with a loud pop sound and a flash of light.
“Fucking hell-” Ramses swore, as a spark flew out of a wire he was clutching-
“Are you alright, Sir?” Joshua asked, bending down to his senior officer. “I’m fine, I’m fine," He retorted. "Hand me a C-type wire, please- Actually, you can do the soldering this time-” Ramses ordered, gesturing towards you.
“Me? Of course, Sir. Here-” You moved to the pile of cables and pulled down one of the smallest- Meant for one of the more delicate controller boards- And you leaned down, hair tied neatly back, with heavy gloves on as Ramses directed you. Soldering was a task for the delicate wire work only- The larger cables would simply be replaced in their entirety, and the chewed through cable would be recycled.
And after an hour or two, it was done. The panel was sealed up again, a switch was thrown, and a distant thunk of whirring power was suddenly heard as lights, fans, and display boards for the Anville line came to life.
“Well, that’s dealt with- Here, I wrote this up for you, since the bosses’ll want a record of this for later.” Joshua gestured to a clipboard holding the details of the completed work order. “Thanks,” you replied, taking the board. “You can bring that to the archive actually, I think.”
“The archive?” You asked, quizzically. Archive?
“Oh, where we store… basically anything and everything relating to Gear Station, to be completely honest. Work order records go there, along with schematics, blueprints, news, employee records, pokemon records, all sorts of things.” Joshua answered. "You'll find it easily!"
“No," Ramses interjected gruffly, turning his attention back to you. "You’ll be bringing it to the bosses. I don’t even know if your keycard’ll let you in to the Archive, and uh, the Archivist is not nice about lettin’ just anyone dressed in a uniform in,” Ramses grunted as he grabbed the trolley, handing you a pile of papers. “Bring those up to the bosses as well. Joshua, get to your station on the Singles Train. It’s departing in… 13 minutes. Go. You. Go collect any other work orders and either finish ‘em up or drop ‘em off at the Bosses’ station.”
“Will do, Sir!” And you marched off with the papers in tow- There was a central station where the agents accumulated such orders, and it was the work of junior agents like yourself to make sure they were correct and fully filled out before they ended up on the Bosses’ desks to either approve them to be carried out or to file them away in the Archive- Apparently.
Finally armed with a formidable, tightly bound stack of papers, you made your way towards the office of your bosses- Down the hall that seemed to stretch on forever, around several twists and turns-
Always it grew strangely silent, you noticed. The space around their office was quiet and curious- A sort of empty, almost liminal feeling around this section of Gear Station. Nothing but the quiet hum of the electric lights, in a space with no windows- It felt like another turn and you’d be standing in another world, or as though time was all messed up- Not stopped, but like one could round the corner at morning and find themselves peering into the night sky two seconds later. A heavy scent of something soothing yet spicy filled the air, like scented candles- Or fine incense- twisting around the warren of halls and doors like a great labyrinth. But you’d walked this path so frequently you knew perfectly well where to go. Sometimes there were other doors- Though you’d never had reason to go in them. Some were locked, some lead to meeting rooms- Clean, empty spaces that looked like the most picture perfect business spaces you’d ever seen. The sort of sterile look that spaces in stock imagery had, you thought. A dull, boring cleanliness- That looked more for show then anything else. But then again, you mused- The Station Masters probably just didn’t make much use of them.
“Station Masters? Sir?” You asked, approaching and gently tapping at the door to the shared office of the Subway Bosses. Silence followed, as you listened intently for a sound from the other side. “Come in,” was the muffled reply- But the deepness in the voice, and the loud, clear tone made it clear who it was.
“Hello, Ingo Sir.” You greeted as you walked in. You smiled politely at your boss, who leaned back stood up to take the papers from you. “Hello, Miss. Thank you for bringing these in. I trust they’re all in order?” You nodded. “Of course.”
“Bravo. Thank you.” His eyes scanned the top document, and he nodded approvingly, though his face, to any outsider, would have looked decidedly discontent with whatever he was scrutinizing. “I trust you rested well?” He asked, setting aside the stack as he leafed through it.
“I’m sorry?” You asked.
“You left Gear Station awfully late last night- I was merely asking, did you get enough rest last night?”
“Oh! Of course, I’m doing great, Sir.” You smiled sheepishly. Ingo could be so thoughtful, it was one of the things about your boss that made him so cute.
But what was cuter was that monster-
You swallowed hard, thinking back to it- A little guiltily now. Your bosses were handsome- And human, which probably made them at least better targets for your crushes as opposed to whatever hulking monstrosity was skulking around the Nimbasa Subway-
Or maybe- Maybe the bosses would know something about it-?
“Well, if you would like, I do have coffee here, if you would like some.” Ingo offered. “I heard you were working with Ramses and… Joshua, on fixing the paneling at the Undella... C station? It’s almost lunchtime as well. You can take a little longer of a break.”
“Thank you, Sir- I’d love some.” You agreed. Perhaps, it would be an opportunity to ask-
Ingo almost looked surprise. It was unusual for you to accept his perpetual offers to try to keep you in his presence even a second longer- And he hastily turned his back, grabbing one of the mugs from the small, almost unnoticeable kitchenette the twins kept in their office.
“There you are,” He offered a few moments later, handing you the mug. “Thank you, -Ow!”
A small droplet of the coffee splashed onto your hand, steaming and stinging your skin, but not quite burning. “Are you alright?!” Ingo rushed, grabbing at your hand. His eyes were wide with shock. “I- I am so sorry, Dear-”
And the voice of the creature rung in your head. The voice of the one you did not see-
But heard.
But what had it sounded like, exactly-?
You couldn’t remember.
“It-It’s alright, Sir! It’s my fault it splashed, I’ll just let it cool a minute.” You offered, setting it down on his desk as you took the chair opposite him. Your boss eyed your hand with terrible worry as he took his own seat, sighing and sinking into the soft back. “Ah, see? It doesn’t even hurt anymore!” You smiled, looking at your hand. The red spot where the burn was forming had vanished, and there was nothing there now that it had cooled off. A faint smile appeared on the face of Ingo. “That is good. I hope you enjoy it. Please, let it cool a minute.”
“You look like you could use some coffee yourself, Sir.” And you really meant it; Ingo’s eyes had dark shadows under them, and the way his coat scrunched up around him as he sunk into his chair made him look unusually haggard. “You were up just as late as I was, weren’t you?”
“…Yes, I suppose I was. I am holding steady for now, Miss. Though I do… appreciate your concern.” He drawled, tilting his head as he snatched up a piece of paper laying on his desk, setting it aside on another table. “Idiot tabloids,” He muttered. “’Was the reason myself and Emmet had to stay late.”
“Tabloids?” You asked, curious.
“Annoying reporters who want to traipse around the subway tunnels with no regard for safety protocols, and cause me and Emmet a mountain load of paperwork and headaches,” Ingo explained. “Looking for things that don’t exist to fill some useless space in their useless magazine, trying to pry into matters that don’t concern them.”
“-Like the rumored… strange pokemon?” You offered cautiously.
Ingo turned his attention back to you. Sharp, silver eyes glowered out at you from behind the shield of his hat, and you shifted uncomfortably- There was always something about them- The Twins- Maybe it was the fact Ingo was your boss? Maybe it was the fact he was so much bigger than you were- His coat made him seem huge, his hat added several inches onto his already towering height- Maybe it was the stillness and the silence of the room. Maybe it was the fact that looking at him or his brother made your heart flutter-
“What strange pokemon?” He finally asked, his gaze drifting down to another document he’d picked up.
“Er- Oh, I’ve heard a bit of a rumor, you see, Sir, about there being a… strange pokemon- Some people are calling it a monster- That’s…uh, that might be in the tunnels.”
“That’s merely a rumor, of course.”
You persisted. “But- Are you sure, Sir?”
It was a fine line to be toeing. Or, at least, that’s what it felt like. The bosses were so- Always, always so inscrutable. They seemed to genuinely care for their employees- They even seem to genuinely care for me, you thought.
But always there seemed to be a wall. You poked and prodded it on occasion- But never did it seem to go anywhere. Always they backed off, or you did- A feeling like some great secret, a veil between you and all the others, that you just couldn’t get through- But you could see hints and movements of things you wanted to know about, but-
The veil, as thin as it was, was still a wall.
Between you and Gear Station. Between you and the two men who had taken your heart so easily, with their charming mannerisms and dispositions, sweeping you off your feet the way they swept through the teams of opposing challengers-
Your face fell. They would never, probably, never- Ever, return your silly interests. What would Ingo say, you wondered for a moment, if he knew what you were thinking? It made your stomach churn with a pain far worse than any coffee burn could ever compare to- It was wholly inappropriate to be thinking of your bosses in such a manner- And both of them, at that. Right?
“…Have you had any experiences with this so-called strange pokemon?”
You looked up. Ingo had set aside the next paper he’d been studying, and he was sitting up straight. The shadows under his eyes were gone, but he looked on as dully as his intense eyes would let him. His frown tightened.
“N-No,” You began, hesitating again. “I’ve only heard rumors- I heard someone talking about it, and I was just… concerned a little bit.” You tugged at the brim of your hat, adjusting it and brushing past the feather-
Your hat.
You pulled it off your head suddenly, looking at it intently.
The feather.
“…That’s it.” You mumbled.
“What is it?” You looked back to your boss, who was looking at you from under the brim of his hat, cautiously curious.
“Do you think- Do you think, Sir, this feather- Might be from the strange pokemon?”
Ingo eyed it, gingerly taking your cap from you. From a strange pokemon, indeed.
“…That could very well be a possibility,” Ingo agreed. “But- This talk, if there is a strange pokemon or anything wandering the tunnels- Do not go looking for it.”
“Is there any reason not to?”
Ingo nodded, standing up and walking over to your side. He gently brushed your cap, straightening it and smoothing the top. “Of course. We do not know how powerful this strange pokemon might be, or what it can do. It would be better to exercise caution in that case, Miss.”
“…Of course, Sir.” Your stomach growled, reminding you of the hour. “I think I’ll be taking my lunch break now, so I’ll see you later?” You smiled, gently taking your cap back- You adjusted it on your brow, saluting as you stepped towards the door. “See you!” And you waved, ignoring the stuttered remark of your boss-
“…I was going to offer to accompany you…” Ingo muttered, before settling back into his desk chair- But that was unimportant.
What was important was what you’d just said.
You remembered? Even if it was faintly, you were recalling bits and pieces even after he, Nobori, had taken away your memories?
You really were their soulmate. Ingo’s breathing ceased, and his shadows gathered around his feet. It was going to be problematic, at the very least- What if you recalled anything else? He’d been avoiding influencing you- But what if you recalled what had happened when you allowed them into this realm-
That would be dangerous. What if you recalled anything about last night, about previous events-? He would need to watch you closely- Extra closely.
Bzzt.
His wrist watch- The cross-whatever it was called? Tranceiver. The watch phone thing. Buzzed. Agent Jackie.
[Has anyone seen Master Emmet?]
Buzz. Another reply. Agent Sam.
[He will be disembarking from the Doubles Train within the next ten minutes, when the Entralink roundabout returns to Nimbasa.]
[Understood. Good to hear.]
Ingo sighed. The moment “work” had started for the day, Emmet threw himself onto the Doubles Train- This would be the ninth trip he’d made today? He was running rather recklessly, Ingo worried. His dear younger brother. It had hurt him so to have brought you pain- It hurt Ingo too. And to cause it again? The older brother sunk into the darkness of his chair, drumming his fingers against the arm and over the desk.
Would it be so bad to make you forget again?

Uhhh. What do you think of a darling who is physically bigger/taller than your SubMas bois? 👉👈
Beautiful. Stunning, gorgeous, I wish I was them 😔
It would depend on the story, of course- I think if you had Drider!Submas with a Drider!Reader, Darling would be bigger- Likewise with dragons...
Or maybe just a Darling who's descended from Zisu and could be on the Nimbasa Basketball team-
I think the twins would adore a Darling who's taller than them. As regular humans, it's adorable how you catch them peeking up at you from under the brim of their hats- Or how they claim you as their favorite cushion when their long days at work are over. Both of them are mildly intimidated by you if they meet you on their battle trains- They're normally the ones who're intimidating people- You, on the other hand, had to grab the door frame and duck to enter, and Ingo would be lying if he said he didn't feel unusually excited for the battle, and he starts stuttering through his normal opening- And Emmet is just openly staring and admiring your height.
If it's Driders, then the boys are trying to find the best way to court the most beautiful drider they've ever had the pleasure of encountering. You'd stand a good head taller than them, and your legs are bulkier- Perfect for pinning down cute twins who thought they could sneak a gift or an offering to you before you were awake...
If it's Hydreigons, well- The boys are most likely being chased down by you. If you catch 'em, they're swooning- Such a perfect mate for them, who can take all their biting and return it tenfold- They're already drooling at the sight of you looming over them, even if they might be just a little bit frightened...

Hi! I absolutely love your work!!!!!!
What do you think would happen if The Eldritch Subtwin’s darling was dropped into Hisui? Like, hundreds of years into the past with no way back-either by falling in some random rift backrooms-style or getting plucked by Arceus himself and plopped down.
How badly would they freak out if it happened right in front of them, or would they freak out worse if it happened when Darling had the weekend off, but The Twins can’t seem to find them anywhere?
I was just wondering what you think their reactions would be, if they just couldn’t find where their darling went-or when.
Hello!!! I am very glad you do!!! I am actually writing something like this- It's going to be rather long, and I don't want to spoil it yet, but uh...
Darling will end up in Hisui. As will the Eldritch Boys. And it might be heartbreaking. And more yan.
(Ah I have too many plans... But do not worry anon I am making progress on them and also finally constructing a masterlist on ao3! Woooooo) It would happen sort of like how you're picturing it. You're gone. You're gone.
You. The reason. They are here.
This isn't a case of you being kidnapped- It's not a case of you being in an accident. It's not even a case of you just forgetting to call out of work, or having a very late start-
You're not in the world anymore.
You literally do not exist anymore.
The twins aren't that dumb though. They know exactly what to do. They've kept an eye on you. They've- Essentially, put a tracker on you. A temporary bind, so they always know where you are. It follows you through time and space and beyond, and lets them follow you through time and space and beyond. To the edges of the Void, into the nothingness, and back to Somewhere Else.
And they will follow you. They'll bid their dear little servant agents farewell; Gear Station is to be under their protection, and they can always be called back if any trouble arises. And so they go to follow, wherever you've gone. They adore you, after all- Their beloved. They came from the boundaries of unreality to court you. They will- Quite literally- Go anywhere imaginable. And unimaginable, at that.
For you.
#Seth.chitchat#Seth.anon#Seth.asks#Eldritch AU#Yea I wasn't sure about them going to Hisui but I had a breakthrough in thoughts#And now I'm smirking like a devil knowing what I will subject all of u too#demon au#monster au#Emmet/reader#Ingo/reader#Submas#Eldritch Submas

How tall do you put Submas at? Like, your hybrid or monster AUs or anything else?
Depends! Normal/Human Submas? I give them a wide range- Anywhere as short as 5'10, up to like- 6'4. I know there's a few manga panels that put them next to Subway car doors and those're usually 6'2" in height- At least on New York subway cars, and that's what I use as a ref lol.
Eldritch Submas? I put them at being unusually tall- 6'8 to 6'10, at the very least- They're trying to blend in with humans though, so they would try to not be much taller- Though I suppose they would take your preferences for height into consideration for their human forms, and also the fact that getting smaller = more uncomfy for their eldritch selves.
Android Submas? Over 7', easily. Probably 7'5. There's a lot of mechanical parts in there that require lots of space, not to mention they can sort-of extend their height by increasing the distance between their limbs, since their limbs are free floating.
Hydreigon Submas would be somewhere between 7-8 feet in height. Part of the reason they're very intimidating. I picture most dragon hybrids being absolutely massive, lol.
Galvantula Submas would be slightly shorter than the hydreigons, whatever height you put them at- They're huge more in terms of their body size, since they're massive driders- You can easily fit on their fluffy spider back, and wrap yourself around one of their spider legs- They have trouble fitting in a normal sized train cart, and their legs get all bunched up- Picture a tarantula in it's burrow.

imagine driders of spider species who dont just weave webs. Get you a trapdoor spider drider and get yoinked into the ground when you least expect it
I combine a billion spiders into one in a drider hybrid sometimes, lol. But tbh I love it. Trapdoor spider nests always look so cozy. Imagine you're just walking through a forest and all of a sudden you get yoinked into a cozy pillow fort. Or a peacock spider showing off their flashy back side for you- Or walking around and suddenly from like- A mile away a spider launches itself near you and apologizes profusely when you fall back in terror as it lands with a thud next to you. Or those tarantulas that keep frogs as pets, all of a sudden you're a drider's pet. Also a tired mama drider weaving a bunch of sweaters for her hundreds of baby driders all clustered together on her back Or a drider carrying a sack of baby spiders/Eggs with it

I can't wait to read more about your Eldritch twins!! AAAAAHHH
Yeyeyeye! I have been wanting to get back to them they fill my brain with so much juice- I'm deciding which story with them I want to write because I have so many ideas to do with them...
Part of me wants to do a long episodic story like I originally planned- With kind of heavy characterization of the reader, and another part of me wants to answer asks and another part of me wants to do an AU of an AU and another part wants to do a kind of sad story with them-
I have too many thoughts ; v;
#seth.chitchat#seth.anon#seth.asks#I am in pain#I REALLY want to write the weird AU story that took over my brain and still has that's full of OCs and weirdness
