That scene with Milchik where he took the "feedback" that his words were too big and kept reducing down the same sentence was intense. It felt like a dismantling of himself with all the hurt that entails. I'm not familiar with cults but that's kind of how I'd imagine one to be, hours of criticism heaped upon someone so they do it to themselves to try to avoid the experience again.

i’m thinking about dylan g… turning him around in my mind… the fact that gretchen his wife (that’s her name right i forgor) knows mr milchik as seth because he’s Been To Their House MULTIPLE times… and that innie dylan doesn’t even know his name is seth. And their beautiful horrible scene together where she meets his innie and it’s so sad and he’s like So i’m a fuck up? :( Anyway what’s even crazier is when they are at home later and he’s like So how was it how was meeting me…?
