Allí nació SETA Apparel, una marca de ropa que se abre espacios en el mundo de la moda en Colombia y Miami.

Y así como el nacimiento de SETA Apparel fue algo que salió sobre la marcha, su vida como influencer tampoco fue algo planificado, pues su objetivo era posicionar su marca de ropa en Instagram.

En una entrevista exclusiva con La Neta, esta colombiana originaria de Medellín nos contó sobre sus inicios, lo mejor de ser influencer y cómo esta vida le ha ayudado a mejorar en su empresa.

Retrocedamos un poco y vamos al 2015, quizás un poco antes. Para ese momento, Andrea viajaba mucho y traía ropa, que les vendía a sus amigas. Pero luego, por la influencia de su madre y su abuela, que también están en el mundo de la moda, empezó a hacer sus propias prendas:

“Empecé haciendo piezas únicas. Las transformábamos, la decorábamos… Eran piezas muy especiales porque eran cosas con trabajo a mano y la verdad tuvo muy buena acogida”. Confesó Andrea.

En sus viajes también buscó especializarse, hacer cursos y aprender mucho más sobre moda. Así fue como decidió crear SETA y abrir oficialmente la primera tienda en Medellín. Al mismo tiempo, su hermana inauguró una sucursal en Estados Unidos, específicamente en Miami. Trabajaron en conjunto con otros influencers, TV host, modelos, artistas y demás para promocionar la marca y hacerla crecer.

Pero para Andrea su meta siempre fue establecer su empresa, no convertirse en una influencer. Nos cuenta que todo esto vino luego gracias a SETA, pues empezó a conocer muchas personas en el medio y a estar en contacto con otros influencers, así que tuvo más exposición en las redes sociales.

 Así, poco a poco, empezó a entrar en el círculo de influencers, le llegaron más oportunidades y marcas que querían colaborar con ella. De todas, confiesa que la más importante para ella hasta ahora ha sido poder viajar y asistir a eventos importantes como los fashion weeks.

También ha podido conocer personajes importantes de la industria de la moda, como editores, fotógrafos, modelos, estilistas y otros influencers. Además, toda esta experiencia le permitió convertirse en la imagen de SETA Apparel y, para ella, es uno de sus logros más grandes.

Andrea solo quería crear su propia empresa, pero consiguió mucho más que eso. Ahora siendo influencer puede vivir experiencias que le ayudan a aprender de todo este mundo de las redes sociales, los influencers y las marcas para aplicarlas en su negocio.
