Childe couldn't remember the last time he'd been sent to Mondstat and he knew he have to tread lightly after the former Eighth Harbinger walked in to the city, attacked the anemo Archon, and walked right back out. But orders from the Tsaritsa were orders and she knew Tartaglia was good at talking and getting a job done.

He just didn't think it would come in the form of overseeing some newer Fatui agents and making sure they did their job. Babysitting was pretty boring most of the time, but it was better than sitting around at headquarters not having much to do.

Childe had already been briefed on the names and faces of the higher ranking Knights of Favonius that he would likely come into contact while he was in Mondstat. The Acting Grand Master wasn't seen out as often, but Childe knew the other high ranking officers could be seen around the city at any time during the day.

Civilians were still talking about a festival that had concluded not even a week ago that seemed to be a big deal for the city, and now Childe was half-wishing the Tsaritsa had sent him a week earlier so the start of his latest mission could've been a bit more interesting to start off. But at least for now Childe was sitting and enjoying some of the local cuisine while he waited for one of his agents to bring him a status report on the new recruits.
