Poundcake is a pinch server. You know those underhand serves that go halfway up to the ceiling and are impossible to see? That's his deal. If he gets sent in to serve he can pretty easily change the tide of a game with a few service aces.

Pete is an opposite hitter. He's the strongest morale booster on the team and putting him on the court can reset the mental of an entire game (think suga from haikyuu). He always has a good read on not only where his teammates' heads are at, but also the opposition. He's not just morale though, he has an absolutely wicked cross shot.

TapL is another libero! Yes haha short joke but I also have real reasons. He's extremely good at non-traditional receives and has the dexterity to back it up (ie noya and terushima's kick receives, hinata rolling backwards to receive a powerful spike, or bokuto receiving the ball with his damn chest in MSBY). Can launch himself insanely far on a dive for a receive.

Mime is an opposite hitter. A play of his that really messes up opponents is swapping with Fein and setting for him instead of vice versa (hello house of nightmares key minigame). There's genuinely not much that he's weak at and he's known as a jack of all trades. He's a good read blocker too so his defensive ability isn't just through receives. Opponents tend to somehow miss him approaching so he's able to score a lot of points without blockers.

random thought but what irks me A LOT about false being overlooked in the mainstream hc fandom is that her peers (and their chats) respect and admire her a lot. the mcsr folks. mcc people obviously. hbomb pete aimsey etc etc. we��ve even got technoblade. and false is a consistent uploader and present in a lot of collabs and engages with a lot of the server so…???????? it wasn’t always like this. like the situation was Normal in 2021??? what happened

Calling all MCSR fans!

Hi MCSRblr!! We are proud to present the first MCSR Mini Gift Exchange which will take place from 16th August to 8th September. This is the Discord server that the event will take place through, so make sure to join if you're interested. Below is the schedule so you can decide whether or not to participate:

16th August - Signups open

18th August - Signups close

20th August - Claims open

22nd August - Claims close

24th August - Creation period begins

6th September - Creation period ends

7th-8th September - Posting period

Event brief:

1. Participants will join a Discord server to participate in the event.

2. Participants will complete a signup form, stating their requested prompt in the process. The prompt must be MCSR-related.

3. Participants will go through a claims stage in which claims open at the optimal time (we will ask for time zones in the signup form). Claims will be on a first come first served basis, and you will be asked to list several prompts you'd like to fulfil in case you do not get your first choice. This will be done through another form.

4. Mods will contact participants to tell them their final prompt. Please ensure you have DMs open so we can do so. If all your prompts have been taken, we will have to ask you to choose another (we will be removing taken prompts from the claims spreadsheet so you can see).

5. As soon as all prompts are taken, or as soon as the set start for the creation period begins, participants are free to begin working on their gift. Writers should have minimum 1k words and artists at the very least a coloured piece (doesn't have to be rendered). Please maintain anonymity at this point as we would like the gifts to be a surprise!

6. If at any point, you feel you are unable to keep going with your gift, please contact mods so that we can discuss and get a pinch hitter if needed.

7. Once you have completed your gift, we would like you to complete a form to announce you have completed. Then, once posting period begins, you are free to post. At this point you are able to drop anonymity, or if preferred, you can post anonymously. Please tag the recipient of your gift in the post you make/gift to them on Ao3/however you choose to gift!

8. Once posted, another form will come out to ensure you have posted.

Rules:

1. You agree to do your best to produce an adequate gift of either a writing piece minimum 1k or a coloured (doesn't have to be rendered) art piece for your chosen prompt within two weeks.

2. If you are unable to do this, you must quickly contact a mod and inform them so a pinch hitter can be found.

3. As per Discord, Ao3 and Tumblr TOS, you must be at least 13 years old to participate. You must have a Tumblr and Discord account.

4. Shipping is allowed for the event. Please practice typical fandom etiquette - don't like, don't read.

5. Dark, violent or triggering topics must be appropriately tagged.

6. No NSFW content.

7. Major Archive Warnings and shipping are opt-in and this should be respected. Additionally, you must consider the prompt’s DNW and fulfill it as best as you can. Not doing so will result in a ban from the event.

8. No AI generated content.

9. Mods reserve the right to ban mores who cross the line.

Im gonna say no.

There’s not a ton of us, and from my knowledge no one there has mentioned the dteam.

Now I know that fully canceled creators will not be included at all, but when it comes to other creators it’s up to the mods. I’m not a mod, just an avid supporter of the group.

I’m not saying they won’t ever get mentioned, but for now they haven’t. (And they most likely won’t)

This winter, I will be running a Big Bang event where writers and artists will work together to produce MCSR works! More information can be found beneath the cut, including the rules and format. If you're interested, join the MCSR Events Discord server, where we will be running the event!!

Winter Big Bang Dates: 23rd September - Writer signups open 30th September - Writer signups close 1st October - Writer creation period opens 2nd November - Writer check-in 15th November - Writer creation closes

Big Bang Event rules:

Writers will fill out a writer signup form to indicate their interest in creating a piece for this event.

Writers will have one and a half months to create a piece of minimum 3k words. One check-in will occur midway through. The work must be standalone so that the artist only has to read one piece to understand.

Writers will submit a link to their work (unposted), some information about their piece, all of which will be placed into a claims spreadsheet. It is crucial that writers meet the allocated deadline as artist claims must open afterwards.

Artists will claim a piece they would like to create art for. Initially, this will be anonymous, so no discussions of 'who wrote this?' etc. Artists will be able to choose multiple pieces in order of preference. These are done on a first come, first served basis.

I will DM artists and writers with their writer and artist respectively. Once all fics have been claimed, you are free from the bars of anonymity and can tell everyone about your status as a team.

Artist creation period opens, where artists create their corresponding art piece. Communication should occur here to ensure everything is okay with the writer. One check-in will occur midway through.

Once artist creation period closes, a few days will remain to allow mods to sort things out.

After that, posting period begins for both artists and writers. They should tag each other's pieces in their posts. Once participants have completed the posting form, the event is over!
