#we have 1. moroccan muslim server we got in spain 2. spanish server we also got in spain and most recent #is 3. bangladeshi muslim safaiwala sorry he was so sweet </3 #also he was very happy that we were indian muslim he got all smiley #he was actually so cute like. losing my mind #he had the prettiest smile i’ve ever seen and he didn’t have a lot to do at that point so he kept wandering back and going off to sweep #absolutely nothing from the ground to look busy #this never happens in the uk because al the guys are ugly as fuck. hope this helps #m

#i kinda wish i didnt feel so uncomfortable in general chat in my friend's discord server #im mostly in the art chat with my core friend group but there are times that when i peek in general #i just sometimes see some thinly veiled disdain against southeast asian immigrants (me) in there #i dont talk to them too much but they do be making sweeping statements about us every now and then #and none of my other friends seem bothered by it #its compounding to that feeling of complete isolation

lmao in fact I am an altoholic and I have several NA alts. I'm mostly on Oceanic b/c the ping is gloriously better and I play with Oceanic friends there, but I'm not averse to visiting. Which server you on?

#NA servers give me a 5 min queue tops and they are gloriously superior in that regard #but Oceanic ping means I don't have to panic every time a boss tries to sweep me off the floor lmao

Y'know one thing they've changed in SWtOR that I miss aside from free QT?

Rep trophies stacking in your inventory until you choose to use them, instead of being instantly consumed when you complete a daily/loot them. Also, while we're at it, dailies resetting from when you turned them in rather than having a set time they reset.

#queen rambles #i sort of get the logic behind both changes #but i like the old way better #esp. turning in dailies #bc the old way i could have a swoop mission sitting untracked in my questlog and use it for quick transport to the event #can't do that now #or pick up all the missions for a weekly and do them as i have time #rather than have to go to the mission board every day to pick them up if i don't finish in one go #BUT the rep trophies #ugh #what if i don't WANT to use pulses on my rep boost for... ruhnuk rep bc i'm trying to max whatever the season track is? (for example)#i don't have multiple max level toons on every server #sometimes if i want the ruhnuk/manaan sweep there is one (1) person who can do it #and if they(tragen or endrali /cough) also are doing game/cold moon/master's army rep with the boost i waste like half of it #i know it's a little thing #and for events like swoop or bounty week i can work around it #but it sstill bugs me

left a light on is launching by next week btw this is like the sixth time in two weeks i’ve seen a tweet about how it feels hopeless to create anything anymore (especially for writers) and that the person in question is giving up because it hurts too much to keep writing (or whatever else) and not have a single soul say anything no matter how many views a thing gets and i am THROUGH

#obligatory rundown LALO is basically a community project where we’re gonna like all comment on each other’s shit n reblog it #it’s a discord server atm because that’s the best and most accessible tool to start with #i was like oh i have to make like huge sweeping changes to the server and like these enormously detailed rules and events and stuff #and now im like. fuck it. ill find out what i need as i go. ill do the basic shit people need to know and adjust as necessary #if you wanna be in it ill post a link but u can also lmk directly. and i can send a link once it’s up #but you have to be prepared to like. share peoples’ shit. to give feedback. etc.#you don’t have to be doing it constantly but i cant have a bunch of people coming in to get their things commented on—#—and not giving the same energy back. it needs to be full of people lifting each other up. so #anyway. i can’t let any more creators fall into depression bc of this shit i CANNOT do it we are resurrecting the concept—#—of leaving feedback and being excited about peoples’ artistic endeavors i swear to fuck
