❥ what does that mean? well, if you’re looking for a place where you can chat about your interests, make friends with content creators, the love club is a place you can do that! so, what does the server have to offer? well;

❥ gen chats where you’re free to ramble about any topic you’d like!

❥ voice chats! (we have a chat board for anyone with no mics or not wanting to talk).

❥ chats for writers / artists to talk about their works!

❥ multi fandom chats! this server is a generalized anime chat so if you’re interested in a specific fandom- you’re welcomed here!

what do you need to enter?

❥ this is an 18+ server so if you’d like access to nsfw and dc chats please send proof of age! (i only need to see your birthday).

❥ the only requisites are that you don’t have a blank blog (no age, name) when asking for entrance to the server, your message will be deleted and ignored.

it's kinda fun joining new discords and watching in realtime as people realise that building communities and spaces that people actively want to be in is actually pretty hard work.

Connections and friendships and long term stability require like effort and thought and upkeep.

People always underestimate it, I think because of the 'school' effect where you just end up being friends with the people near you and it's really easy-- And only later on learning the skills it takes to continuously take on new connections and upkeep them without being in the same space.

Groups like a discord can become self sustaining but there's actually a lot of factors at play to make it a healthy community...

It takes a lot more than having a long list of rules and being active with a ban hammer. You need like... traditions and welcoming/onboarding and deliniated spaces that are fit for purpose and good VIBES and just a bunch of things that can't be fabricated and have to grow over time.

When I first started playing Minecraft, I build a group of rainbow huts as quick as I could. They were nice for safety, but ultimately I wanted to do more with them, so I expanded the safe zone, and I've been rebuilding them.

This is Brown House, modeled after a mountain cabin. It's got a bedroom, library, kitchen, sitting room, and wine cellar for storage, as well as two balconies with a view overlooking a valley, a bay, and two partial castles. When it rains, you can sit on the balcony overlooking all of it, with the sound of rain pattering and the crackle of the fireplace.

From up close he can read the name tag: Harrington. The man takes a drag from his cigarette and exhales smoke slowly in Billy's face. His eyes are hooded, long eyelashes fluttering against pale cheeks. And he almost succeeds in putting on a show of being completely unaffected if it weren't for that tense line of his shoulders.

"Please, don't flatter yourself. You're an honorable guest." Harrington's voice drips with sarcasm. And then, just for a moment, the mask slips. "But do be careful on this mountain. Don't follow any strange lights."
