Dumb Ideas

"TENYA!" Hanta slammed open Tenya's door, forcing a startled yelp out of him. 

"Yes?" Tenya said, closing his book to look at his boyfriend. 

"I have a dumb idea." Hanta smirked, waving the rollerblades he was holding in one hand. 

"You better have a helmet." Tenya swings his legs off the bed, knowing he'll be roped into this one way or another. Hanta's smirk turned into a feral grin. 

"I do." he nodded. "Hey, you can run as fast as a car, right?"

Tenya had no idea how he'd ended up in this position. No, that was a lie. He did. His lovable boyfriend was a danger to himself and those around him when bored. This had led to many different times where Tenya and/or the bakusquad ended up in trouble or in the nurse's office. Today, it would probably be both. Hanta's tape was wrapped securely around Tenya's waist. Hanta is on the other end of the tape, wearing the rollerblades-and helmet, as promised- tying the tape around his own waist. A bright red car with the kanji for Endeavor scrawled on the side is on Tenya's left, with Todoroki in the driver's seat and Shinsou in the passenger's, holding his own phone. On Tenya's right, Midoriya is crouched in a starting position, green lighting sparking around him. Out of the way, Ashido and Uraraka are filming. 

"Alright," Kaminari calls, holding a soda can microphone, "racers, are you ready?" Hanta cheers, and Midoriya hoots. Tenya stays quiet and Todoroki revs his engine. Kaminari blows an air horn, and Tenya takes off running. Todoroki and Midoriya speed out of the parking garage and out onto the busy streets of Musutafu. Hanta laughs hysterically behind Tenya, barely heard above the wind rushing past Tenya's ears. He makes a sharp right turn, and looks back for a second to see how Hanta faired. He was fine. Tenya turned back to the road ahead of him and immediately found the fierce red car. They had planned this route to not only drive by Endeavor's agency, but also hopefully cross his patrol route, solely to piss the man off. 

It worked better than any of them hoped for. Midoriya had bolted past the man, screaming, "IT'S HIS POWER, BITCH!", whatever that meant. Todoroki had rolled down his windows and was blasting vulgar rap he didn't even listen to as loud as it would go, even though he didn't care for it. Hanta had called the man a flaming turd. Even more so, Endeavor burst into flames, but did not pursue.

"Iida, you're supposed to be the responsible one." Aizawa pinches the bridge of his nose. 

"You can't blame him for needing a break." Hanta chimes in, leaning on Tenya's side.

"You dragged him into this." Shinsou pointed out. 

"And you quite literally asked to be involved." Ashido countered. Shinsou gasped, dramatically clasping his hand over his chest. 

"You-why do I even bother? Detention, all of you." Aizawa sighs, rubbing his face. 

"Oh, come on, Mr. Aizawa. Nobody was hurt. Just inconvenienced." Midoriya smiled cheerfully, trying to not appear desperate. 

"If we sent you the videos, as well as Tylenol, would you let us go?" Todoroki bargained. Aizawa sighed, giving up. 

"Yes, fine. Just get out and don't do it again."

🌺seroiida beach AU🌺:

sero comes to the island on a vacation with his friends but since they’re coupled up, he finds himself walking along the beach one day by himself and runs into private charter captain tenya iida(tanned, swim trunks, button up open and island necklace hanging on his chest) who offers him the best view of the island and then they go out on iida’s boat and he tells sero all the island facts and about the fish and the government protections etc. He takes sero to all the local secret spots and they go cliff jumping and snorkeling and he finds sero a pretty shell. sero tells iida that he’s amazing and iida says he thinks hanta will fit into island life quite nicely. they talk about teaching sero to sail and surf, and how different the culture is from where sero’s home is.

sero asks if iida believes in soulmates/love at first sight..

“I just might..”

eventually the sun starts to go down and the boat is running low on gas so they head back to beach, stopping to see the sunset and a pod of spinner dolphins passing by. iida docks the boat and takes his necklace off, putting it around sero’s neck and kisses him softly, making him promise to come back again tomorrow “there’s nowhere else I’d rather be” sero says and wraps himself up in iida’s big warm arms.

only for iida to be left waiting at the beach as sero sits on a plane, clutching the necklace for all its worth. which, for sero, was just about everything

Sero Hanta

Because I made a post about Denki, obvi I need to make a post about Sero. This boy also has my heart and I don’t mind one bit. (Frankly there are many characters that have my heart so don’t @ me.)

Sero is also a character that is close to my heart because he pulls at my heartstrings. He’s similar to Denki in that he jokes around and isn’t the smartest. I saw somewhere a hc that he feels like he always has to try to fit in or like he’s always on the outskirts of friend groups (relatable af) and it makes me so sad because he’s literally so talented and so precious.  

I also love the headcanon that he’s a stoner. This hc is what leads to my favorite Sero ship: Sero x Aoyama. 

Hear me out.

Sero, a stoner who can just go with the flow and is super mellow and Aoyama, a flamboyant anxiety ridden mess. The way I imagine them starting out is that one day Sero is just hanging out and Aoyama stumbles upon him in the midst of a particularly bad anxiety attack and instead of judging him, Sero offers to listen and gives him a safe space (and maybe an edible). For Aoyama, Sero is a safe space where he can go and have anxiety attacks or rant about something he loves (like cheese) and Sero will love him either way. For Sero, he loves watching Aoyama show off his new sparkly and loud outfits, and he’s always laughing when he’s with him. I think Aoyama also helps Sero be more comfortable with who he is too. Such a wholesome ship imo.

I also ship Sero with Todoroki for similar reasons, although with Todoroki, Sero likes when he’s affectionate and loving compared to when he’s passive and couldn’t care less. (This insta account is exactly how I imagine their pairing). While we’re at it, I do not mind the Sero x Iida ship either.

I am going to gush about this fanfic that needs so much more love than it has. I know by the description it seems cliche but there is so much more to this thing. The main thing isnt just Iida and Sero, infact in later chapters Iida takes a side seat.

The dialogue is so funny like please Todoroki stop burning everyone.

I should probably update the my hero list of characters I write for to be more specific. But yes I 100% write for this ship! Bro another rare pair I found recently was Jirou x Deku and I kinda like it!

Note: I’m aware Denki doesn’t actually have a TV in his room, we’re gonna pretend.

Characters are their current in anime canonical ages. (Cuz this is pure fluff and I felt like it.)

Game Night

Being the class representative had its perks.

For example, it looked great to potential hero agencies and it was basically a continuous hall pass.

However being class rep also meant that when you had to choose between staying a little late at a class rep meeting or being on time to meeting your boyfriend, the former would always have to win. And Iida despised it.

He tried to schedule his time with his boyfriend around when the meetings start and end but sometimes something held him back later than expected or forced him to go earlier.

Not a day went by when Iida Tenya wasn’t thankful for his boyfriend being understanding about it.

But now Iida finally had a moment to breath and all he wanted to do was go see his beloved.

Iida was, once again, late to meeting his boyfriend that day but neither could be more happy when he finally showed.

“Iida! Quick kiss your boyfriend and distract him for me!”

“Not my fault you’re bad at this game Denki.”

Tonight was the bi weekly annual game night for the bakusquad and ever since Iida Tenya started dating the one and only Sero Hanta, he’d been invited.

Every. Week.

Since Iida joined them, their game nights ended earlier and no one stayed in another’s dorm room past curfew. But the bakusquad didn’t mind because sometimes Iida would kick Bakugou’s ass in Mario Kart and it was funny.

“Hey babe!”

Sero has just won another game and Kaminari was passing the controller to the next challenger as Iida plopped himself, gracefully, next to his beloved video game champion.

Iida’s voice was tired and quiet when he sat down.

“Hello my beloved”

Sero casually slipped himself into Iida’s lap, relaxing against his boyfriend. Normally Iida would say that this “isn’t proper young hero conduct” but right now he just wanted to hold his boyfriend close to his chest. So he did.

“Want me to sit out a round?”

Tenya was very tempted to say yes, just so his boyfriend wouldn’t move around too much while he was holding on, but he also wanted to hear his boyfriend’s tone get half an octave higher when he wins another game.

“No it’s fine, you keep playing, I’ll watch.”

“Okay babes.”

And with the controller in Mina’s hands- “you’re going down off brand spider man!-“ and a kiss to Tenya’s cheek, Hanta was playing another round of whatever 1v1 fighter game was on the small tv in Denki’s room.

Tenya could feel how wonderfully relaxed the handsome “off brand spider man” in his arms was and fed off that energy, resting his head on Hanta’s shoulder.

Tenya’s eyes closed for what he thought to be a moment but what Hanta quickly realized was going to be for as long as they stayed there.

Tenya Iida, class representative of the one and only rowdy class 1A had fallen asleep with his head against the shoulder and arms around of one of the biggest trouble makers in the bakusquad, Sero Hanta.

One thing that would always surprise Hanta was his lover’s ability to sleep, even a little, anywhere he was if he let himself. That didn’t stop Hanta from thinking he was adorable.

For the rest of the evening Hanta tried to stay as still as he could for his sleeping boyfriend. Mina and Denki tried to draw on Iida’s face but Sero threatened to tape them to the ceiling if they tried.

Hanta knew how much Tenya needed the rest.

So he let the handsome boy on his back just hold him and nap a little.

Tenya always had to be responsible and take care of everyone.

Hanta made it his mission to make sure Tenya knew how precious he was by taking care of him wherever he could.

They love watching five minute craft videos together. They just think they're super stupid.

They do yoga together :D

Sero has a shoe box filled to the brim with polaroid pictures of Iida laughing. ONLY with him laughing. All the other ones he takes are 'hidden' in his sock drawer even though everyone who has ever been in his room knows their whereabouts.

Iida collects soda tabs and empty cans (mostly of Deku's discarded energy drinks cause we all know he's a bit forgetful and has no clue what a sleep schedule is). When Sero found out, he taught Iida how to make things out of them. They now both have collections of painted items made solely from energy drinks.

Kami thoroughly enjoys Kandi (totally a hyper fixation) and enjoys making chokers and hair clips for Sero. The first time Iida saw Sero wearing one of said choker/hair clip combos, he snorted orange juice from his nose.

They wear each others socks. That's it.

When they wanna go on dates but don't know what to do they'll blind pick a bl manga from Sero's manga collection and find the first date the characters went on and try that idea out. Once they accidentally picked a nsfw manga and they just sat in silence staring at the page. When they snapped out of their daze Sero kicked Iida out of his room and threw the manga out the window of his dorm.

They have a shared sweater vest collection even though they both style them very differently.

They have matching phone cases (Sero's has Reki on it and Iida's has Langa on it) that they painted together.

Every time they have snuck out of the dorms to go to the gas station it was Iida's idea. Not in a 'Sero looks upset so I'll suggest something he would like to do' kinda way. Every time he suggests it it's because he himself wants to go.

They randomly surprise each other with Cheeto Puffs. It just makes sense to them.

seroiida headcanon: hands🤲

- sero loves to hold hands with fingers intertwined bc it’s the best for swinging while they walk but he also loves to line them up at the wrist bc iida’s hands are just huge giant man hands and while there’s not a big difference in length, sero’s are super slim and veiny.

- this makes thumb wars extremely unfair bc “your stupid fat thumb makes it impossible for me to win, you know that?” “it’s pure dedicated skill, I have no idea what you’re talking about”

- iida talks with his hands all the time. it’s his signature. but he’s also very tactile and will always be caressing sero’s skin with the back of his knuckles. he can’t help but latch on to the loose sleeves of sero’s shirts while they’re sitting on the couch to stim and he’ll rub the fabric between his fingers.

- sero is the friend who lightly trails his fingers along his friends’ arms to sooth them and when they have sleepovers kaminari always thrusts his arm out and falls asleep to it.

- sero also has a ton of callouses on his fingers and such from maneuvering with his tape and iida has a strict moisturizing routine and his hands are butter soft.

- they also hold pinkies when it’s too hot bc sero hates sweaty palms.
