"GIVE ME THE money."
My head snapped to the scene behind me, a middle aged man with a gun to the cashier's head.
"Do it or I swear I will put a bullet through your brain."
I sighed, watching the cashier scurry through the cash register before looking to the corner of the store. I quickly ran to the corner before reaching into my backpack and taking out my suit before quickly stripping out of my clothes and slipping on my suit.
"Hey dickwad!" I shouted as I pulled my mask up onto my nose. The cashier along with the man looked over at me, his gun now pointing to my head as he held the money in his other. "Trying to steal money is bad."
"Who the hell are you?" He questioned as he glazed his finger over the trigger.
"A cosplayer, now hand over the money and I won't hurt you," I snickered as I clenched my fists.
"Hurt me?" He scoffed. "How are you gonna hurt me?"
I couldn't help but smirk.
"Like this."
Aiming my fingertips towards his forehead, I watched as the webs shot to his forehead before I slammed his head down onto the counter, causing him to groan and drop the money.
"The hell?" He groaned as he tried to aim his gun at me once again, but before he could press the trigger, I already webbed his hand, causing him to drop the weapon.
I run towards him, grabbing his arm before twisting it, a crack playing throughout the store as he cried out in pain.
"Think of me next time you try to rob someone," I muttered into his ear before stepping on his head, causing him to groan once again. I sighed as he scrambled up before running out of the store. I bend down, grabbing the stolen money before handing it over to the frightened cashier. "Keep the change."
I began to walk away, but before I could walk out the store, I turn back to the aisles and jog over to my backpack. I pick up the bottle of chocolate milk I had planned to buy before running back over to the cash register.
"Forgot about this," I chuckled as I handed the lady the money I owed, which she took with shaky hands before I grabbed the bottle once again.
I ran out of the store before looking around the buildings, searching for the right building to swing on. My eyes fell upon the tallest one on this block as I stuffed my chocolate milk into my backpack before securing it around my shoulders. I took a deep breath, cracking my fingers before shooting a web to the top of the building, holding onto it as I swung from building to building.
"Finally," I sighed as I finally made it to my temporary home. I crawled up the side of the wall before I finally made it to my room window. I crawl through the window and sigh as I finally land my feet on the soft carpet. I swiftly strip out of my suit, stuffing it into my backpack, before throwing a shirt over my head and pulling sweatpants onto my legs.
"Cindy!" Vigorous knocks were placed on my door, causing me to sigh and drop my head. "Open this door now!"
I dragged my feet over to the door before unlocking it and opening it to reveal my foster mother standing there, not looking very happy.
"Hey Olivia," I sheepishly greeted her, waving my hand before scratching the back of my neck. "Is there a problem?"
"Is there a problem?" I could practically see her face turning a darker shade of red at this point. "The problem is is that you haven't been home since this morning! Where have you been? Do you know how worried I was?"
I scoff as I walk back over to my backpack, quickly grabbing the chocolate milk before zipping it back up.
"I went to do some volunteer work," I lied as I spun open the lid to the bottle. "I told you, I've been doing this for awhile now."
She rolls her eyes, leaning against my desk chair. "What kind of volunteer work?"
"It's- uh, cleaning up stuff around the ground y'know? Oh, and helping old people," I chuckled nervously. "That kind of volunteer work."
"Oh I see," she nodded. "And that took seven hours? What kind of volunteer work takes seven hours?"
I threw my hands up in an "I don't know" gesture as I took a sip. "I don't know what to tell you Olivia, I really was doing volunteer work. Then I went to that convenience store a few blocks away before I came home."
She raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms. "When did you come in then?" She questioned, catching me off guard.
"What?" I spoke, wiping the chocolate milk mustache off from my top lip.
"When did you come home?" She repeated sternly. "Huh?"
I hesitated, searching my brain for an answer. "I came in not that long ago," I chuckled nervously. "I guess you just didn't see me."
She pressed her tongue into the inside of her cheek, keeping her eye contact with me before pushing her short, blonde hair out of her face.
"Yeah, okay."
I watched as she walked out the door, grabbing my doorknob.
"Go to bed, you have school tomorrow," was the last thing she said before shutting my door, causing me to let out the biggest sigh of relief.
I really needed to start planning these things out, one of these days I was sure to get caught.

"You good? You look hella tired." I turned my head towards Ella as she scanned my face.
"Thanks," I nodded my head sarcastically. "I appreciate it."
"I'm being serious bro, you look like a raccoon with them eyes," she laughed, poking my eye bags. I glared, slapping her finger away.
"Shut up," I scoffed, turning my head back to the front of the class as more students walked in.
"I'm just saying, don't go all whiny when you look in the mirror and see those circles," she chuckled, bumping my shoulder with her elbow.
"I thought I told you to shut up," I mumbled, elbowing her back.
"I'm just saying."
"Alright, lets get started."

"What do you think they're doing?" Ella questioned as she stared off in front of our lunch table.
"Who are you talking about?" I inquired, trying to look the direction she was looking at.
"Ned and that Parker guy," she replied, nodding her head their way. "Losers, who uses walkie-talkies anymore?"
I looked over to Ned and Peter, watching as the fiddled around with walkie-talkies. I rolled my eyes, finding it a little weird.
"Don't know," I answered, looking back down at my lunch tray. "Looks stupid."
Ella laughed as she picked up her phone, scrolling through her social media as I continued to eat.
Everything was normal, until I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand straight up, causing my eyes to shoot to my left only to see a cheese ball flying towards my head. I quickly reach my left hand up, swiftly catching it before it could hit me in the eye.
The laughter coming from the left side of the room quieted down a little as I lowered my hand to see Flash sitting there with his friends.
"So mature Flash," I rolled my eyes as Ella took the cheese ball out of my hand, popping it into her mouth. I looked away from him, but before I could look back down to my lunch, my eyes meet with Peter's. His eyebrows were furrowed as he looked at me, tilting his head a bit. I returned the look before turning over to Ella, only to see her stuffing her face with pizza.
"Jesus, I swear you eat like a pig, I wonder why you're still skinny," I judged as I watched her continue to stuff her face, despite my comment.
"Metabolism," she spoke through the food in her mouth, causing me to crinkle my face in disgust.
"That's disgusting, don't speak with your mouth full," I scoffed, turning back to my tray.
"Sorry mom," she spoke clearer now. I shook my head before finishing off my sandwich.
"I'm seriously reconsidering our friendship right now," I scoffed, looking her right in the eye.
"You say that all the time but you know you love me," She cheekily smiled before stuffing her face with yet another slice of pizza. I rolled my eyes as I placed my trash on my tray before standing up and walking over to the trash can. I quickly dump the items on my tray into the garbage before setting my tray onto the top of it.
I looked back over at Ella to see she was still stuffing her face. I sighed as she looked over at me, me taking the chance to mouth "hurry up" to her. She pouted but got up, throwing her trash away before we walked out of the cafeteria.
"I was still hungry," she whined, slouching her shoulders and dragging her feet.
"You ate like six slices of pizza."
"Yes and your point is?"
I chuckled and shook my head, not even trying to ask more questions.
"I sometimes question your existence," I giggled as we walked to our lockers.
"Don't worry me too."
We laughed with each other as we opened our lockers, grabbing our textbooks for our next classes.
"So, you coming over tonight?" She inquired as we shut our lockers in unison. I nodded my head, earning a satisfied smile from her.
"Yep, don't worry about it."
"And your foster mother agreed to it?" She questioned, raising one eyebrow. I laughed at the question, knowing she obviously knew the answer.
"As if, I never ask her anything," I laughed. "I'm gonna be so screwed when I get back tonight.
We both laughed again before the bell rang, signaling for us to go to our classes.
"See you after school?" She pointed at me as she began walking backwards to the direction of her next class.
"See you after school."
