The experience of romancing people as a paladin in bg3 is just. so sublime. You end up latching onto a character and going you. Yes you. Something is very wrong with you. Something is very wrong with you and it is the kind of problem where I am oathbound to fix it. Let me ask you about it. Learn more about you. Learn more about your inner world. #cubey’s bg3posting #seriously paladins are my favourite class solely because you as the player have a VERY REAL gameplay motivation to act a certain way #even if your character is silly like dame o’sha the compliant you still get really attached because your motives are linked really strongly!#when I first played I was a bard because that’s what I usually play in dnd and I was like yeah this games pretty good!#but playing as a paladin made me go oh. this game is *great* actually #and then obviously there’s my other favourite pastime: seeing how much questionable behaviour you can get away with while still keeping oath #even on the unwuestionably good guy oaths like ancients or devotion you can get away with being a REAL bastard sometimes #there have been multiple times on devotion where I let someone die so I wouldn’t have to lie and it felt selfish as hell LOL #baldur's gate 3
