#seriously its such a gut wrentching trope#GOD if nothing else makes me cry it would be that#everyone has always said it was the greatest thing that could ever happen#the greatest reward#and when it does theres a moment of realization#this fixes nothing#this does not fix you#this is not the reward you were looking for#nothing will be the same ever again#you lose everything in exchange for some praise#praise that burns your skin and makes you wish you could rip off your ears#its not fair#you did everything right#you were promised everything#so why did it end like this?#why does it end in eternity?#ink talks
