Good afternoon Instagram, happy hump day. It's Wednesday and it's time for this week's #serieswednesday post and this time I'm looking at Mission: Impossible. It's quite a shame that more games haven't been made based on Mission Impossible as it's a perfect series to make good action/stealth games out of, especially the sequels. It's kinda of a shame they only made a game based on the first movie, the least action-packed installment of this otherwise awesome series. With John Woo at the helm of Mission: Impossible 2, the over the top action packed movie would've been perfect for a video game adaptation! Ghost Protocol (my favorite movie in the series) would also be perfect for video games. I can just see that level in my head where you have to climb the side of that skyscraper Spider-Man style. Alas it never came to be. Instead we have a mediocre game based on the first film and a stand-alone game that's pretty much a Splinter Cell clone. And I don't mean that as a bad thing. Operation Surma is actually a pretty decent game. Storywise it takes place after the events of M:I-2 and you play as a non-Tom Cruise Ethan Hunt and your team consists of Luther (voiced by Ving Rhames) and Billy, the Australian pilot also from M:I-2 portyrayed yet again by that actor. This game has something to do with stopping a cyber terrorist attack or something I dunno, it's been a long time since I played it. Anyways, again it sucks that more Mission games were never made. Perhaps they can make a big expansive game featuring missions taken from all the movies, kinda like Indiana Jones' Greatest Adventures on the Super Nintendo. Or just do episodic digital downloads from Steam, PSN, and Xbox Live. Anyways that's my two cents on that topic. For #SeriesWednesday I have #PaperMario I played it for 64 when video connection was probably on its last leg, renting it a few times. I'm pretty sure I beat the game, I at least remember getting to the very end. I have yet to play it for GC so I need to get on that. Long live Mario #RetroCollective

One my favorite (more recent) game series'. For this weeks #serieswednesday I have Gears Of War. I love the story of these games, the gameplay is addicting and the locusts were well designed. I miss the hours spent playing Gears 3 online with @peter___parker @extrawhippedcream and @tigtragger - them's were the days, just wasting some brumak! #gearsofwar2 #gearsofwar3 #gearsofwar
