folklore + evermore series

over quarantine, taylor swift has produced two spectacular albums which have left a good majority of us in tears, pain, whatever you want to call it. taylor has written songs that correlate to life in multiple aspects and filtering through the different types and stages of love. And with that, I have decided to write a series of one-shots and connected stories based on the music and lyrics from the albums ever more!

Cardiff Diaries #4 Back with the final post of the series! In this post, I take you around the Cardiff Market, one of the few places where the traditional family-run businesses are intact. It gives a quaint, yet homely vibe; as soon as I stepped in, I felt I was at home. One can find a plethora of shops, catering to a variety of needs; souvenir shops, handicraft shops, clothing shops and the like. Also, the food shops are AMAZING! One can find so much to try here! I never expected to find Baklava in the UK, let alone in Cardiff; I guess I was wrong! Make sure you go up to the balconies as well; your visit won't be complete without it. There are a bunch of niche shops upstairs, which have great things to offer (like the record shop and the shop selling picture frames). Also, there are some great places to eat upstairs! The pizza we had was baked fresh, with minimal toppings, and it tasted heavenly. I guess the wood-fired oven does add to the flavour; you'll never get that in your everyday takeout pizza, I'm sorry to say 🙃 I just wish I'd clicked a picture, but I was way too hungry, and I finished it way to quickly 😅 With that, we come to an end of Cardiff Diaries. I hope I was able to do some justice to the beauty of this city, and maybe motivate you to visit! Hope you enjoyed the virtual tour!
