whenever these two are together, they always speak a chaotic mix of korean and english. seri firmly believes she can make yeonjun develop an kiwi accent like taehyun kinda did, and he just plays along with it. fans have pointed out that he slowly developed a slight kiwi accent as like a habit after playing along with seri’s motives.

also, it’s by talking to each other that really bumped up yeonjun’s english skills from good to great

the fans have noticed that these two have little inside jokes in english, and there are many videos talking about these inside jokes and trying figure it out but no one has been able to crack their code, not even the other members

a little something to celebrate txt’s second anniversary. none of the txt boys knew that seri would have an impact on them.

If you told Yeonjun that he’d end up being a whipped father/brother figure to his own girl member, he wouldn’t believe you. He had always messed around with Yoonmi to the point where he didn’t really understand why the Bangtan boys were the way they were.

Then there was Seri.

It was when she came home upset when he first realized he felt protective over her. He had overheard Beomgyu talking to her about how she should tell him when other trainees bullied her again, and he felt a wave of anger and worry wash over him. It was the next day he went to the practice rooms early and (threatened) visited the room without the debut lineup. But it was that day he realized. This is why his sunbaes are the way they are with Yoonmi.

I will protect you for as long as I can. When people start to get to you, just tell me. Please.

If you told Soobin that he’d be an affectionate big brother to a little sister, he would have looked at you strangely. He entered Bighit knowing that, aside frome staff and Bangtan’s Miya, there were no girls in the company. He was excited to make brothers that he’d hopefully debut with after spending years with only a noona.

Then there was Seri.

He was cautious of her at first. He thought she was cold. But then she smiled and ended up getting closer to him. Before he knew it, he felt attached to her. As time went by, he found himself checking in on her, caring for her well-being, and constantly cuddling her. It was when he saw her overworking herself the same way he did himself over dance and maybe more when he realized he cared for her. It was when she broke down over not getting her steps right when he understood.

As your leader, older brother, and friend, I care about your well-being, and I’m right here when you need a hug.

If you told Beomgyu that he’d meet his best friend while training to be a kpop idol, he would have snorted and shook his head. All he knew was going to school and playing his guitar back in Daegu. He didn’t expect to be scouted by his favorite group’s company. He didn’t expect he’d actually get in and become a trainee. He didn’t expect to make friends easily, either.

Then there was Seri.

He met her right at the beginning because they came to the company early to do the same thing. He stuck to her like she did to him, and they just grew closer. They spent most of their free time together. Without knowing it, she became a huge part of his everyday life. It was just another day of them staying late in the practice room when he decided he wanted her by his side, and he wanted to stay by hers for a long time. They were laughing at funny videos despite monthly evaluation being two days away, and he realized he wouldn’t have it any other way. That’s when he knew he found his best friend.

If you told Taehyun that he’d find another noona that would make him feel at home in Bighit, he would have raised his eyebrow at you skeptically. He already has his noona, and he’s pretty close to her. He didn’t need another one. Besides, he was entering a company without girl trainees. He’d be busy trying to get along with the people he may debut with. Besides, there was Huening Kai who was a little younger than him, but he was still happy to somewhat become an older friend.

He had seen how other trainees looked at her and felt bad. He wanted to try and get to know her and maybe be a source of comfort. But it ended up being the other way around. He found himself acting more childlike with her, and she ended up taking care of him. He liked it. She wasn’t overbearing and messed around with him the way that a close friend would, but she also took care of him. She was warm. He liked warm.

If you told Kai he’d end up being a little brother and an older brother to the same person, he would have laughed. Sure, he was a middle child, but was that actually possible? He had his noona and his trainee hyungs that he could mess around and act cute with. He also had his little sister who he could take care of. Teasing

Taehyun is like an actual little brother to Seri, but like the sweet kind of little brother… That doesn’t mean he doesn’t tease her though

Every now and then he’d throw a little jab about her height or like something he find funny that she did whether it be clowning her about something she did before or right then and there

She does counterattack and usually pulls the noona card, but Taehyun usually just lets her get away with it 🤧

Honestly, they don’t really tease each other that much (to the fans’ surprise bc it’s Taehyun we’re talking about), so to see them poke fun at each other is very much endearing.

Croissants

One of the first things you learn as a MOA is how Seri loves croissants. Her main croissant provider? Well, it’s Kang Taehyun, of course!

Taehyun is known to always get Seri a croissant when he goes on schedules without her, and they’re almost always different flavored.

He popped in on one vlive just to give her a small box then left. She was so happy when she opened it, so the fans were excited to see this.

By extension, Taehyun also tries to bring Seri to different bakeries where they can try more croissants. (It kinda weirds him out though that she’s not one for pastries or sweets unless it’s a croissant)

When they went to the beach

Taehyun and Seri went to the beach once, and a lot of fans saw them there. It became a huge issue on stan twitter because people posted photos of them there.

But the photos they uploaded from that day 😳

Neither of them were wearing makeup, and their smiles were so genuine in the photos… Everyone was so happy to see that, especially since the photos turned out aesthetic!

It’s no secret that Seri used to do musicals when she was in middle school, and everyone knows that the TXT boys love this, especially Taehyun.

Taehyun always asks her to sing musical songs because he loves how her voice sounds. Not to mention he knows it makes her feel a little more at home.

Every now and then, you’ll see him give her a certain look and go “Noona?” Then Seri just laughs and sings a random musical song.

Ask Cravity to dance to TXT and Wonjin will immediately step up. Cue the other boys teasing him by singing all of Seri’s lines and he’s just all “stop!” He genuinely is a fan of Seri’s, and you can see him searching up predebut videos of her singing. He recommends TXT’s songs a lot and will always talk about how he loved Seri’s vocal tone

Chaewon will fawn over Seri with no hesitation. She’s gonna be watching live performances with the biggest smile on her face and just be cheering even more during Seri’s parts. “Chaewon-ah, why do you like TXT’s Seri so much?” “She’s so cute! I want a dongsaeng like her!”

Park Sunghoon

Park Sunghoon, the nervous mess when he heard Seri would be visiting I-land. He has said on broadcast that she’s really pretty, and that makes him feel nervous. He thinks she’s amazing for leaving musical theater to become an idol. But anyway, she explained that Seri is someone she looks up to when it comes to stage presence and vocal skill. Jeon Woong

Woong finds Seri adorable. Sure, they’re practically the same height, but she just seems so tiny to him. They met because Yoonmi brought Seri with her to visit Daehwi in the AB6IX dorm for his birthday before she even debuted. The moment she debuted, though, Woong was very supportive and would be like “I know her! She is my kid, I claim her as my kid!” They’re pretty good friends, and like talking about each other. Woong eventually ends up being Seri’s honorary older brother, basically.

hyunjin’s her stray kids bias. she loves the way that he works hard. she knows the story of how he didn’t know much before training and ended up becoming a lead dancer and lead rapper, so she admires him for that. seungmin teases her by saying she’s vain bc she biases someone who looks like her

Jung Jaehyun

seri just finds jaehyun as a figure she can relate to. people expect him to be all composed and princely because of how he looks, but he’s actually quite hyperactive and weird. just like her. she hears about him through hannah’s stories, and she just feels like it’s nice to have a sunbae she can look up to in that aspect

Dino

out of the thirteen people in seventeen, she biases dino. she just enjoys the way that he performs for some reason, plus she thinks he’s really funny. she sees him every now and then, strangely since they don’t rehearse in the same building, but he tends to buy/give her snacks when they see each other (yeonjun says that’s why he’s her bias)

Yoon Dowoon

after yoonmi introduced her to day6’s music, she couldn’t get over how much dowoon reminded her of soobin like she really says the main reason she biases dowoon is because of soobin... not to mention she finds playing the drums attractive, so it isn’t unusual to see her watching dowoon’s fancams

seri absolutely lives for solar’s vocals as well as on stage charisma. literally if you ask her who her role model is, she’d say it’s solar. she loves how solar is so unapologetically herself and both talented and sweet. solar has reached out to her bc of this and she freaked

1. When she wears one of her onesies

seri has a whole collection of onesies that she bought with her own money

she doesn’t always wear them but she gets really hyper when she does

her smile literally never disappears

2. When the prize is a croissant

soobin with bread is one thing but seri with croissants is something else

she loves any and every croissant with her whole heart

she gets so excited and all of a sudden she’s leading the five boys bc she NEEDS that croissant

3. When the boys catch her off guard on camera

seri is an extrovert so it’s normal to see her very lively and talkative

but sometimes the boys catch her in the middle of doing something or talking

she gets shy because she either isn’t prepared or bare-faced

4. Whenever she’s with Soobin

i mean she is yeonbin’s child, it just so happens that she’s more baby around soobin like she can never get frustrated with him

soobin takes full advantage and babies her

5. When Beomgyu took her to an amusement park

this was a talk x together episode with the two of them

beomgyu mostly filmed her while she ran around and dragged him to every ride and game she wanted to try

the boys love to play fight, and seri always wants to join in

but the boys don’t let her and she gets all sulky

she gets all shy in the booth because she always wants to hear the others’ opinions

there’s a lot of questions asked, takes done, and eyes widening in curiosity

it started one day in the middle of preparing for a comeback

“gyu, i literally can’t go outside unless we’re going back to the dorms or to official work schedules. there’s no more excitement.”

beomgyu rolled his eyes at her. ever since their lockdown, he noticed seri had been getting more and more antsy by the second.

her constant need to go out and meet her friends wasn’t satisfied.

“let’s do a vlive,” he told her. “you did one wtih the 02s the other day, so it’s time to do one with me now”

seri shrugged but nodded. she wasn’t sure where this was going, but beomgyu was taking the lead

and so the vlive started

they made the company their playground

it started out in the practice room where they just talked and answered some questions

she told moas about how beomgyu started being more serious with teaching her guitar and how she was looking into online university courses

beomgyu spilled how she tried to learn how to cook but ended up burning the pan

more quarantine stories here and there, mostly just about games they’ve made up or played in the dorm

the most iconic being how the 01s stayed up to prank the other txt members

eventually it escalated

they went to other practice rooms and peeked inside

they caught glimpses of trainees practicing but ran away when the dance teacher almost saw them

they went to the artist lounge and somehow these two managed to put together a good sandwich in five minutes filled with laughter and shaky camera angles

seri showed off the jimin portrait that their seniors hung up and beomgyu imitated it

jungkook and jimin caught them while they were running around the hallways

like, literally caught them which led to a giggly mess from the two younger kids and confused laughter from the two older boys

eventually they settled back into the practice room they were originally in and couldn’t stop laughing, so they had to stop the live in a fit of laughter
