The Tickle Monster.

Sergi Roberto trying to teach his four year old son to swim but the kid is just trying to splash him

With Sergi’s wife out of the house and not due to be back for a little while, he’d decided today would be a fine day to head out to the pool and try to teach his little boy how to swim. With neither of them strangers to being in the water together, the initial fear of trying to get him in there was no longer an issue but trying to get him out of the water wings was.

“You can hold onto this,” Sergi tries again. His feet touch the bottom of the pool but he bends his knees so he can appear to be treading water to try and encourage him in as he makes his way back over. One hand flattens on the side, pressed against the body board while the other circles through the water softly to help keep him afloat.

The little boy stands and observes the water, the slow rippling of the surface as his dad moves and carefully dips his big toe before pulling a face.

“Don’t be like that, come on. I’ll hold you.”

He’s still not convinced though, dipping the very tips of his toes into the water and glancing over. They’re near the shallow, away from the steps to get in but not too far along to truly be too deep.

“We can have your board in here, or one of the pool noodles? And you’re wearing your water wings. You know you’re safe.”

“But you’re taking them off.”

“Not both of them. And not all at once. I want you comfortable and happy. Hey, look at me,” he instructs, waiting until the little boy before him locks eyes with him, “I won’t let anything happen to you ok?”

“Promise?”

“I promise. I’m your daddy, it’s what I’m here for. I’m not going to let anything happen to you.”

He sighs as he concedes in the only way a four-year-old can, picks up his body board and plops it down onto the water as he chews on the inside of his lip as he cautiously makes his way over to the steps. Sergi follows on his knees, ready to hold his hands out to help him into the water. He tentatively takes each step, one hand is out to steady himself in case he does tumble forward while the other is out at his side but up above his shoulder to balance himself.

Sergi tries not to make a big deal out of it because he knows if he does, he’ll turn around and not come back in. He keeps stepping in until he reaches the bottom step, prompting Sergi to push the float closer to him to reach out and grab. He doesn’t want to rush him or make him feel silly for doing something he’s done so many other times with ease, because he knows the next steps are scary and that’s not something to be mocked.

He waits until he’s fully holding it before saying, “I’m going to move this now ok? I need you to kick with your legs to make it go.” He waits for his son to nod that he understands and tries not to grin at the look of concentration upon his face. Slowly, he walks backwards, taking the shortest steps he possibly can so that he’s not progressing too quickly to make him feel rushed. He guides him around, making sure he looks comfortable before he leads him to a spot near the middle, closer to the shallow end than the deeper side.

“Ok now when I move with you, I want you to make biiiiig circles with your legs instead of kicking. Can you do that? Do you remember how I do it?”

“Uh huh.”

“Good. Keep holding on and make those big circles.” Sergi says, “can you show me now how you do them?” He asks, holding the board with one arm as he moves around the side to watch, giving his son the perfect time to show he can do it but also take advantage and do a small kick to test. The water splashes, not quite reaching Sergi but close enough to have him raising his eyebrow. “Oh, you want to play that game huh?” he steps forward, his fingers go to his son’s ribs and armpits as he tickles him. “Yeah? Let’s see how funny you are now. Think you can try and splash me and get away with it?”

His son clings to the body board, his eyes are clamped shut as he laughs hysterically, trying his best to wriggle out of his dad’s grip as he kicks his legs and splashes as a distraction.

“Let that be a lesson to you,” Sergi tells him, a little breathless from his own laughter. He watches his son, who is a mini me version of him, turn to look at him as one leg slowly begins to raise. Sergi raises an eyebrow, knowing what’s coming and wiggles his fingers in preparation and when that foot comes back down, water showers the two of them as a result, Sergi’s fingers resume their tickling.

ive been trying to think of an idea for ages because I love your writing and ive finally got one. could you do a summer blurb with Sergi Roberto where he meets his ex when he's on holiday with their son and they realise they're still in love?

Word Count:

“Papa” your little boy Marco ran over to Sergi as you were on holiday. You weren’t supposed to meet up but you realised you had messaged him by accident. That’s how he knew you were in the same place. “Hi buddy, mama didn’t tell you were here” you smiled. You felt your heart go again in ways it did when you were first together. But whenever he was around Marco, you had feelings for him again. “Lovely to see you. I’m a fan of this hair, suits you” he smiled as he admired your new change of hair colour to pink and had it cut shorter. “Thank you” you smiled. “So how have you been? You enjoying your holiday buddy?” you nodded as Marco rested his head into Sergi’s shoulder. “He has, he is probably quite tired. Maybe you could have him for the day tomorrow? We could come and see you?” you suggested. “Yes if you want too, I would like that” he agreed.

Those big beautiful blue eyes that you love and adore pull you in the second the facetime connects.

“There’s my beautiful girl,” he grins and his face softens completely. “I’ve missed you.”

“I miss you too.”

“The baby misses you.”

“Baloo can’t talk. How do you know he misses me?” You counter and Sergi laughs.

“I haven’t seen Baloo for a while actually, probably off napping somewhere.” He says, turning to look but the dog hasn’t approached at the sound of his name like normal or the sound of your voice. “Sure you don’t need us to come out? I don’t mind.” Sergi asks, tilting his head and you know he’s looking over every available part of you on the screen. He’s got that “I’m so in love with you” look etched on his face and you know you’re giving him the same look.

“It’s only a few more days and then I’ll be back to annoying you and you’ll be wishing you had the house to yourself.”

“Nope. It isn’t going to happen.” He grins. “I can’t wait to hug you. How is everyone?”

“Good, I think some are still nursing their hangover. Who knew you could have a three day one hey-ho.”

“It’s a wedding with a free bar,” Sergi laughs, “it’s what happens.”

“I wish you could have been there.” You comment, feeling a little sad that he hadn’t been able to come.

“Me too. You looked beautiful in your dress. I’m jealous of anyone who danced with you.”

“Jealous of the bride? How rude of you.”

“Well, when she’s wearing a dress like that? How could I not be? It would have shown my legs perfectly, I’d been looking at one similar for in case I could make it.” he comments as you chuckle. “I can’t wait to kiss you.”

“Just a few more days.”

“Just a few more days.” He repeats.

Word Count: 273 “Okay, where are all my jumpers?”

Sergi was sorting his wardrobe out, putting all his new clothes in there. Meanwhile, you were doing some work in your office. He had a box full of clothes that he wasn't going to wear anymore.

"There is so much in there Serg" you said as he walked into your office, placing it down. "Yeah there is. I think there are much more deserving people that needs this. So I feel that this would be good to be given to charity" you smiled at him. "That is cute, have you got much left to do?" you asked him. "I have a bit" he told you, as you followed him to the bedroom.

"I do have something to ask you though" Sergi folded his jeans and putting them in the cupboard. "Yes, what?" you asked as you laid on your bed. "okay, where are all my jumpers?" Sergi asked as he only showed the few he had in his wardrobe.

"Don't know, maybe the jumper thief has come in and stole them" you cheekily replied. "Thanks babe" Sergi huffed. "I know you are stealing them, but where do you keep hiding them? I need to wear them. I want to have my Nike one back?" Sergi asked, you jumped off the bed and found a few of his jumpers. "Here we go, Serg. Want them back?" you sighed and pouted.

"Sorry baby, but these are mine. I know you want them. But I hate that you keep stealing my jumpers" Sergi complained. "But I love them, urgh fine. You have them all. I will just freeze" you smirked. "You are so dramatic" Sergi moaned.

12 months of....

I love the idea of having a month dedicated to certain players. Weekend updates will not change, and will be anyone and everyone, but one day throughout the week will be dedicated to x player to be able to post their requests if they have a lot of them, otherwise I may take some small blurbs to fill the gaps. What this form will tell me, is who you'd like for certain months. I'll then look through the requests that I have and begin to work with them.
