Hey buddy! Thanks so much for the asks as per usual!

Sorry I was late getting to this, I was on vacation and was just moving moving moving moving sooooo

But now you can hear some stuff about my Sarge Fan AU!

Here's what I have for his backstory:

Serge D. Faniel miraculously survived his own birth … though, unfortunately, his mother didn’t. Serge was quickly rehomed into the grasp of a human foster family in Sheathen. Unbeknownst to those outside, Serge was raised by the human family to work. His typical day included herding livestock, carrying tens of pounds of various materials miles across the land, counting crops in the hot sun, and much more. Serge would hardly ever get a break, and he savored every moment of free time he got. Unfortunately for him, he was seen as nothing more than a mere tool by the adoptive family for most of his early life.

Then came the Sheathenian war.

All operations of Sheathen came to a halt, and everyone began to panic. Shops were emptied, supplies declined, and the economy was close to collapsing. Serge was set to gather his own supplies while the family tended to themselves.

And more quickly than anyone could’ve expected, the draft began.

Sarge was only 14. However, due to his nature as a rottweiler tierkno, he appeared to be much older… at least 19.

And, of course, the family pushed him into the draft instead of their own son.

Serge was forced to endure the utter chaos of the battlefield. With absolutely no sense of direction – but rather, just a sense of hanging on to dear life while trying to serve at the same time, the darkest times of his life tortured him. Smells that still haunt him to this day, all kinds of experiences he can’t forget, the ever lingering feeling of knowing he could die at any moment.

It tore him apart. Whether it was the experiences or the boredom or the grief… it all tore him apart.

And he was ripped to shreds when he returned home … after the family was relocated to Loulea.

However, he couldn’t handle that life anymore. Not after the pure torment he was put through. It changed him forever… and he knew he’d never be the same again.

So, he ran away.

A few days after the fact, he ran into someone of the likes he’d never seen before: Sarge… someone who was just like him… yet, so strong and bold. He fought against the very things that ruined him.

And it made him realize:

Why can’t he take control back? This life has treated him like SHIT, but he has the ability in his very hands to say fuck you to it and take it back.

All inspired by Sarge…

And just like that, he was taken under the wing of the Madish Family… only to become the brave leader he is today.

Extra fun fact: his real name is Serge D. Faniel (according to the mentioned 2019 lore dumps)!! That's what I was referring to lol his parents are deranged /lh
