I am pretty sure actually that she is my patron saint (can a small pink dinosaur/dragon be a saint?) not the other way around.

I am an old lady at roughly 4 decades. My formative childhood shows included: - Gummy Bears - Muppet Babies - Gumby - TMNT - ThunderCats - Transformers - My Little Pony - Strawberry Shortcake - Rainbow Brite - Denver the Last Dinosaur - Jem - The Wuzzles (I still have a Hoppopotamus plush) - Popples - Heathcliff (Heathcliff no one shoooould terrify the neighborhood...) - David the Gnome - Danger Mouse and the spin-offs like Count Duckula - The Raccoons - Serendipity the Pink Dragon - Galaxy High School And sooooo many more. ... No wonder I'm a weirdo.

Got feeling ancient because I saw like eight of these with shows that either I'd never heard of because they came out in the last 8 years or shows that the kids I babysat were watching when I was in highschool.

My grandma really found us the most obscure movies as kids... ones Ive never heard anyone else talk about .... Train Mice, Happily Ever After, Serendipity, Samson and Sally.. my childhood ..... i wish i could find them again to watch

I only mentioned it in the tags of something but there was this little browser game one of my brothers and I played a lot as kids that was a physics simulator thing that I couldn’t remember the name of so, naturally, I had to stop everything I was doing and hunt it down and I found it. It was called Soda Constructor and it looked like THIS:

Literally all you did was make these lil’ wireframe things and messed around with their settings to make them move and whatnot- I’m sharing this with y’all because SURELY someone else other than my brother and I played this and I Need To Know.

On the one hand, gifts weren’t usually the best way to get Lance out of a funk. And for a brief moment, seeing the young Dratini just made it worse: he knew full well how much work went into raising an infant dragon, and he certainly didn’t need more tasks on his plate.

But it was only a brief moment. You couldn’t look at an infant dragon and not demand to be involved in its life. And just look at her. So small, so young, with the gem on her forehead still sharp with an egg tooth. And already her eyes were so alert, so determined.  Falkor would adopt her immediately.

“You’re sure?” But already he was reaching for her, letting her coil cautiously around his wrist. “Does she have a name?” But already he was thinking: Kazul, young king of the dragons.

“She’s beautiful.” And nevermind that she was from another reality, and that her living here would probably only further degrade the barriers between them, because she wasn’t going anywhere now.

its a shame not many people have seen Serendipity the Pink Dragon/Dinosaur. its the WILDEST children's anime movie but the dub is fucking hilarious

its also super endearing if you dont mind it obviously being geared towards children
