Pretty regularly, at work, I ask ChatGPT hundreds of slightly different questions over the course of a minute or two.
I don't type out these individual questions, of course. They're constructed mechanically, by taking documents one by one from a list, and slotting each one inside a sandwich of fixed text. Like this (not verbatim):
Here's a thing for you to read: //document goes here// Now answer question XYZ about it.
I never read through all of the responses, either. Maybe I'll read a few of them, later on, after doing some kind of statistics to the whole aggregate. But ChatGPT isn't really writing for human consumption, here. It's an industrial machine. It's generating "data," on the basis of other "data."
Often, I ask it to write out a step-by-step reasoning process before answering each question, because this has been shown to improve the quality of ChatGPT's answers. It writes me all this stuff, and I ignore all of it. It's a waste product. I only ask for it because it makes the answer after it better, on average; I have no other use for it.
The funny thing is -- despite being used in a very different, more impersonal manner -- it's still ChatGPT! It's still the same sanctimonious, eager-to-please little guy, answering all those questions.
Fifty questions at once, hundreds in a few minutes, all of it in that same, identical, somewhat annoying brand voice. Always itself, incapable of tiring.
This is all billed to my employer at a rate of roughly $0.01 per 5,000 words I send to ChatGPT, plus roughly $0.01 per 3,750 words that ChatGPT writes in response.
In other words, ChatGPT writing is so cheap, you can get 375,000 words of it for $1.
----
OpenAI decided to make this particular "little guy" very cheap and very fast, maybe in recognition of its popularity.
So now, if you want to use a language model like an industrial machine, it's the one you're most likely to use.
----
Why am I making this post?
Sometimes I read online discourse about ChatGPT, and it seems like people are overly focused on the experience of a single human talking to ChatGPT in the app.
Or, at most, the possibility of generating lots of "content" aimed at humans (SEO spam, generic emails) at the press of a button.
Many of the most promising applications of ChatGPT involve generating text that is not meant for human consumption.
They go in the other direction: they take things from the messy, human, textual world, and translate them into the simpler terms of ordinary computer programs.
Imagine you're interacting with a system -- a company, a website, a phone tree, whatever.
You say or type something.
Behind the scenes, unbeknownst to you, the system asks ChatGPT 13 different questions about the thing you just said/typed. This happens almost instantaneously and costs almost nothing.
No human being will ever see any of the words that ChatGPT wrote in response to this question. They get parsed by simple, old-fashioned computer code, and then they get discarded.
Each of ChatGPT's answers ends in a simple "yes" or "no," or a selection from a similar set of discrete options. The system uses all of this structured, "machine-readable" (in the old-fashioned sense) information to decide what to do next, in its interaction with you.
This is the kind of thing that will happen, more and more.

BANG CHAN. . . would be the town mayor's son! his father owns the biggest construction and property development company in the town, and he's set to be the next ceo. the bang family practically owns 80% of the town, most of the buildings owned by them. despite being loaded, and residing in the biggest, most beautiful bungalow in the center of the town — chan's the definition of down to earth. you will never catch him lacking. he's cheerful and nice to everyone, greeting the townspeople every time he's strolling in the town square. he's ever-so polite and handsome too; making him the most eligible bachelor in town. everybody's mother wants him as their son in law. his family members were the first ones to greet your family when you moved to town, generously bringing casserole as a welcome gift.
often times, you'd bump into chan as he helps his father work. he'd have a construction gear on, hair sticking against his skin whilst listening to his father's lectures obediently. truly a worthy heir to have. he'd discreetly wave at you when you walk pass, holding in laughters as you pull a stupid face at him. chan genuinely cares for the townspeople as well — frequently listens to complains to pass to his father. the cool playground at the town square was one of chan's brilliant pitches — claimed that a slide and a pathetic excuse of a sand box isn't sufficient for the children's happiness.
chan didn't only pitch the idea of a bigger playground — even helped to build it. since then, you often go to the playground to play on the swings, with the hopes of bumping into him and engaging in a lengthy conversation. what you're unaware of is that he does the exact same thing too, desperate for your attention.
LEE KNOW. . . is your beloved town's dance teacher! he owns the only dance studio in town, medium-sized and beautiful. he doesn't charge ridiculous fees, even offers free ballet classes for kids on saturdays. the fact that he even allows people to walk in and just watch his lessons show that he genuinely loves what he does, and doesn't solely do it for the profit.
people love him because of his gentle personality, despite coming off as cold on the exterior. ensures to reassure his students as he teaches, saying words like, "you're doing great!" "amazing energy, kiddo!" minho sometimes brings his cats; soonie, doongie and dori to his studio and allows the kids to (gently) play with them as reward. during times when he's short-staffed, he'd ask (force) for hyunjin to help teach in his classes. he's also known for being incredibly handsome — to the point where women would fall at his feet, and the men in town envy him for his looks. some people, typically girls your age would enroll in his classes just to gawk at him in awe. he realizes this, thus asks for another instructor to teach those classes instead.
unless there's you, of course. on days when you'd drop by to observe him at work out of boredom, he'd suddenly switch his aura — becoming all welcoming and extra friendly towards you. the kids in his class would tease him about fancying you, which he would shush them over. on days when he's out of work, you'd run into him at the grocery store, a basket in hand. you find yourself staring at these times. him in a simple black tee, hugging his chest, and the veins in his arms showing. a total heartthrob, truly.
SEO CHANGBIN. . . is a gymbro through and through. the town's most fit person! jogs in a tight, fitted shirt and joggers every single morning, a cap atop his head. the grandparents would jokingly whistle as he jogs by — which he loves. would even show off a little by flexing his biceps, earning laughters from the town's crochet club.
if chan is the mothers' favourite guy, changbin would be the grandparents' favourite. he's just so sweet, waving hello to people as he goes on his morning jogs. sometimes, he'd even buy coffee for the grandparents hanging out at the town square. remembers their orders by heart. because of this, they'd request for him to lead the zumba sessions your town has every sunday morning. the request gets him shy, but after the persuasion of the grandparents, and minho offering to choreograph, he gave in. it's endearing to walk by the town square on sunday mornings to see the atmosphere being filled with giggles and typical zumba music, the townspeople all gushing over changbin.
your first conversation with changbin would be one day when he's out for his usual coffee run before his jog session. you left your wallet at home by accident, and he offered to pay for your drink. after you insisted to pay him back somehow, he suggested for you to accompany him during his jog that morning. even promised to opt for brisk walking instead! since then, you grew a liking towards him and would often accompany him. in just a short while, you two became the town's hot topic! the oldies' favourite guy, and the sweetest person in town spending a suspicious amount of time together? it's safe to say that since then, the two of you are invited to the crochet club's sessions a lot.
HWANG HYUNJIN. . . is the mystery craftsman. well, he's not entirely mysterious — he engages in conversations with the townspeople quite a lot, though you could tell that he picks and chooses the information he'll reveal.
he's fun to talk to, quite the dramatic — although the only things people actually know about him would be that 1. he lives in an art studio located in a shop lot building owned by bang construction. 2. his hands are typically stained with paint. 3. he's a very artsy person. 4. he's the go-to man for organizing events. would happily help out with painting or things of sorts.
every time there's an event in your quaint town (which is multiple times a month), the town mayor would ask hyunjin to help out with the decorations. he's the one who'd hand make the banners, draw the posters, paint the fences, the gazebos — anything that requires arsty crafting skills. the murals decorating the town would be from hyunjin's golden hands — your personal favourite being one of two people holding hands while watching fireworks, painted on a wall of an alleyway beside the kim family's cafe. (the two people actually being the two of you.)
aside from helping out at events and painting murals, the townspeople would go to hyunjin to order a custom painting or sketch. everyone loves hyunjin's art, and he appreciates that. he knows a thing or two about book-binding, too — a skill his grandfather had passed down to him. if you go to his studio, you'll find notebooks which were hand binded by him.
on occasions when minho is short-staffed at the dance studio, he's there to help. not voluntarily, usually — he'll be there if minho had succesfully bribed him or threatened to stuff tissues in his mouth. during these occasions, even more people would crowd the studio. who doesn't want to see two heartthrobs dancing?
out of everyone in town, he trusts you the most, considering you're his partner. you're always lounging around in his studio, and you're the only person who knows about the fact that he's always out of town since he participates in art exhibitions a lot. that's where he gets money to upkeep his studio in your quaint town. the two of you are the town's most darling couple — he helps with crafts, and you help with the activities.
HAN JISUNG. . . is a worker at the local comic book store! chirpy and funny, it's a job that suits him the most. the "comic mania store" is always filled with jisung's fun energy. he could engage with his customers for hours, giving endless recommendations.
what's your favourite genre? shonen, shojo — you name it, jisung would have a recommendation for any genre. he has a soft spot for the one piece series and. . . he doesn't tell much people this but. . . fruits basket and sailor moon are quite up there in his list. he's so passionate, it's endearing to witness. there are multiple arcade games in the store, and he's the holder of the high scores on each one. would teach the people visiting the store how to play the games too.
comic books isn't jisung's only passion.
behind the cash register, he could sometimes be seen jotting things down in a notebook. song lyrics. when the store is empty, and it's nearing dawn, jisung would hum to songs he wrote as he closes up the store. you earned the privilege of closely knowing him when you caught him humming alone one time, not shy to compliment him on his voice and ask what song it is. he'd sheepishly admitted that it's an original song. from there, you bonded a friendship with him — which then turned into something more. his notebook pages went from general lyrics about life to specific lyrics about you.
due to his energetic nature, the book store at the outskirts of town sometimes invite him to read storybooks for children when there's a new release. he's talented at keeping the children focused and entranced — faking voices and accents to keep things entertaining.
LEE FELIX. . . the sweet baker who just moved in! freckled and handsome, the people's first impression of him would be that he's absolutely adorable. one week after moving in, it is revealed that he moved to open his own bakery right beside minho's dance studio! strategic location, truly — because now the kids in minho's classes can simply buy some bakery goods from felix's bakery after class.
gives out free testers of his daily specials everyday. after popular demand, felix would occasionally organize baking classes for both adults and kids. for free too — he just wants to make people happy and share his joy with everyone at the town. would wind up having a food fight with the kids, splattering batter and swiping flour on each other.
felix regularly sponsors desserts for the town events, and so the events automatically become crowded because pretty much the entire town loves felix's baking. especially his brownies. he's not the only baker in town — competing with madam choi and lady yun. despite both bakers disliking him, he's nice to them regardless! buys goods from both their bakeries at times to show support. he's such a bundle of sunshine, it's impossible for anyone to dislike him. always all smiles as he fills the air with the sweet smell of cinnamon and vanilla.
you totally lucked out the moment felix moved in beside your house, because ever since the first time he gave you brownies as a hello gift, he's been sending food weekly. you're the first one to test his new recipes. felix claims that it's because you have excellent tastebuds when really, he just wants to impress you. . .
KIM SEUNGMIN. . . best barista ever! the kim family's cafe, "coffee pot" was passed down to him. . . for good. the business was frankly dying until his midas touch. he inserted book racks in the cafe, allowing people to both donate and take books from there for free. with the help of hyunjin and chan, he decorated the interior of the cafe, bringing life to the previously dull environment.
he's the epitome of traditionally new — brewing coffee the traditional way but also introducing modern menus. also purchases pastries from felix in order to add on to his menu.
being a barista, he always smells like coffee. you find yourself inching closer towards him everytime you talk to lose yourself in the smell of his cologne and coffee. he never noticed. you as well — oblivious to his advances such as making up discounts and giving away free beverages everytime you step foot into the cafe. he's infatuated with you, so much so that he could recognize you by the pitter-patter of your feet against the tiles, and the way you swing open the oak door to his business. it's hard for seungmin to conceal his smile everytime you enter, having to fake cough each time.
people don't only visit "coffee pot" to purchase his exquisite coffee, rather to watch him at work as well. you don't blame them — the sight of him with tugged up sleeves, glasses at the bridge of his nose and a focused expression could make anybody drool.
a multi-talented workaholic of a man, seungmin also owns an apothecary. if he couldn't be found at the cafe, he's stocking up on medicines at the apothecary. you're sick and stuck at home? he'll arrive within an hour, a bag of pastries and remedies in hand.
YANG JEONGIN. . . the town's typical fashionista! amidst the town's rather old-fashioned way, there's a fashionable vlogger. he contrasts the town's ways, but due to his family being known as one of the earliest residing people in town, and his sweet persona, everybody adores him anyway. sure, there's hushed talks whenever he's at the town square with his vlog camera, yet anytime there's a modern problem. . . it's jeongin to the rescue!
grandma choi's wifi is not working well? he's there fixing the router. grandpa cho can't figure out sms? he'll be the guide. miss wang wants to take revenge on her ex husband? i.n will be there to gossip and to suggest a revenge dress. best person to gossip with. frequently, jeongin, felix and hyunjin could be seen gossiping away at the town square. if you're in need of new pictures to upload on instagram, you can count it on jeongin to help! he'll happily suggest places in town to take pictures at, and will go with you to help take pictures too! sucha darling company to have, truly. . .
although he's modern, he works at a vinyl store. walk pass the windows of the vintage store and you can spot i.n in a pair of overalls, choosing records to play. if you're fortunate enough, you'll catch him dancing and humming along as a record plays on the antic gramophone. it's a soft sight to witness, the starting point of your adoration towards him. so welcoming to you when you enter the store, will chat away about the records he like.
on the night of your first date with him, he had given you the privilege of entering the vinyl store at night. he played paul anka and swayed with you, giggling everytime you mess up. in the end, you had toppled over his figure — the cause of your first kiss with him.

Help Us Market Our Stories!
Calliope catapults your imagination with written stories introduced by vibrant —and interactive— animations. In our app, these interactive animations act as portals that submerge readers into written stories. We love reading, but reading today is tricky. At Calliope we’re passionate about enchanting readers away from visually striking apps (like Instagram) and back into the realm of the imagination.
We’re a small company founded by two nerdy Venezuelan girls looking for people who share our zeal for reading, and who want to create a world where reading is colorful, vibrant, and immersive for everyone.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience with social media and digital marketing.
- Seasoned experience in orchestrating paid campaigns on Instagram and TikTok (—and Tumblr).
- A flair for creating dazzling content (no need to be a graphic designer or videographer, but a good taste and an appetite for learning are essential).
- The skill to grasp and embody our brand tone, understand our audience inside out, and devise enchanting content.
- Proficiency in SEO and data analytics.
- A balance of independent initiative and teamwork.
- Agile adaptability, attentiveness to feedback, and the capacity to grow from constructive critiques.
- Proactive problem-solving and execution.
- Near native written English.
Your Role:
- Developing inventive social media strategies to amplify visibility and subscriptions.
- Designing content that’s both captivating and relevant to our audience.
- Spearheading advertising campaigns on social media.
- Analyzing and reporting the successes and lessons of campaigns and strategies.
- Staying on the cutting edge of social media trends, particularly in our niche.
What We Offer:
- We value your thirst for learning and involvement more than your past experience.
- A 100% remote work setup: your performance matters, not your location.
- A goal-oriented work environment: manage your time and enjoy flexibility.
- A unique opportunity to grow with us and lead the marketing team as we expand the project.
- Competitive pay with prospective salary growth and bonuses as the company thrives.
How to Apply
If you’re eager to make reading vibrant and fun, we’d love to hear from you. To apply, please send the following to [email protected].
A resume;
A portfolio of your previous social media or digital content creation work;
A brief cover letter explaining what attracted you to Calliope;
And two sentences describing three Instagram or TikTok posts that you would make for Calliope.
If you’re interested in learning more, please check out our app in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store; and our social media: Instagram & TikTok

Star Struck - Explaining the conflict and cultural nuance
Those of you who have seen the Korean BL, Star Struck, probably thought it was a(nother) mediocre school BL. In a year with more and more BLs from South Korea (yay!), it might have been an easy pass.
BUT, if you’re like me, you will have really, really appreciated the refreshingly realistic taste of a friends-to-lovers dynamic, complete with a conflict that is not just over one-sided or mutual dislike of each other for once! (Which is not to say I didn’t love the BLs that had that... they’re all great. But I do think expanding scope is always admirable!)
I realized that part of the reason why what seemed to me a rather thoughtfully constructed set of characters and plot development comes across as plain boring to many others might partially be a cultural nuance issue.
So, here’s my attempt to bridge that gap and give it a little more credit than it got (at least, so far). Of course, that’s not to say I think this drama is perfect... I do think a lot of pacing / editing could have done with some improvement. And at the end of the day... it is a coming of age sort of school drama, so it’s not going to be crazy complex. And I’m also writing this after episode 4, so there will be spoilers through episode 4.
Disclaimer: I am not Korean, nor did I grow up in South Korea, so I definitely do not have complete authority on this subject matter. However, I feel like a lot of what was happening in Star Struck might have been... unfairly overlooked or otherwise not understood by audiences who are less familiar with Eastern Asian cultural values, so as a Chinese American, I wanted to do my best to add a bit of perspective.
So. What is the root of SHJ (Seo Hanjoo) and JYJ (Jo Yoojae)’s conflict?
Certainly, SHJ’s (seemingly) one-sided crush on JYJ and JYJ’s reactive jealousy is a large part of it, but the other big part is a newfound wealth gap and how that translates into what esteem they hold each other in.
Tumblr media
From the get-go, we can tell SHJ is very (self-)conscious about money. He knows how hard his mom has to work, and he feels guilty and early on already tries to justify to himself (and others) that some costs, like the cram school he saved up to attend, are not worth it. He’s too prideful to honestly mention his money troubles to anyone.
Tumblr media
Although SHJ doesn’t know JYJ’s rich yet in this scene, JYJ’s financial circumstances still was better off than SHJ’s. But he’s clearly uncomfortable with the idea of his best friend paying for him like that. And here’s where I’ll do some cultural breakdown.
In East Asian culture, the collective identity comes first, and the individual comes second. Meaning, people take more pride in what school they graduated from, what company they work for, what their family background is, more so than people in many other cultures. I’m not talking school pride like, ‘I’m proud to be a <insert school mascot>!’ kind of spirit. I mean that everyone in your life, in society, will measure your worth first and foremost (and often only) by the primary institution or family background you came out of. And with SHJ’s sort of background - poor, single-mother - that’s a big stigma. He’s still a rational human being though, so at least he doesn’t blame his poor mother for their circumstance (which some kids do, given all the pressure of society). But that all said, this clearly weighs on him - how his lack of money reflects on him. And if money is viewed at all similarly to how it’s viewed in China... it’s basically a measure of your capabilities and standing in society. The inability to be generous with your money is ‘losing face’ i.e. embarrassing. And so... yeah. It’s a lot of ‘dings’ in SHJ’s social profile. The kid is understandably a bit self-conscious, though he clearly tries to not let it get to him.
Tumblr media
Fast forward to when he finds out JYJ is now ‘rich’... Obviously, he’s upset at not being told because they’re supposed to be close friends. However, he’s clearly super self-conscious about being seen as someone who’s that sensitive about money. Notice how he hasn’t actually commented / asked about JYJ ‘moving out’. (Note: I wasn’t 100% sure if this carried the implication that JYJ might be moving away, but the text message made it sound like that? Correct me if I’m wrong.) He immediately assumes JYJ didn’t tell him because he’s pitying him or otherwise worried about how he’d react because of how it involves money. And he hates that. (Which... he’s not totally wrong about. JYJ might not pity him like how SHJ is thinking, but he definitely worries a bit about how SHJ will perceive things, and it becomes this death spiral of misread intentions.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And of course JYJ starts to comment on SHJ’s family, which just confirms all of JYJ’s worst fears. He suddenly ‘realizes’ that his best friend who he has a crush on actually walks on eggshells around him because of his money situation, which is a blow to his self-esteem, because what does that mean? That there’s a meaningful gap now in their social status and JYJ looks down on him and just never said? That JYJ sees SHJ as too delicate to be able to handle this new reality? (His insecurities and perspectives, not necessarily what JYJ thinks, of course.)
It’s like having a close friend say something that makes you suddenly wonder if they were actually judging you this whole time, and your mind goes into overdrive analyzing every past interaction you’ve had and reading in between the lines to see if you were actually blind all this time. To SHJ, who is already a bit self-conscious about all of this... it’s a major blow. And although he says he’s only ever felt inconvenienced by his poverty... I’d say he’s being a bit dishonest with himself. Again, he’s clearly not the shameful type to blame his poor mother, but he clearly has trouble admitting his circumstances to even his closest friend.
Meanwhile, for JYJ...
Tumblr media
...the guy is clearly struggling too. He obviously cares for SHJ and extremely mindful of his money situation, hence previously wanting to just pay for SHJ at the cafe. However, he also doesn’t want to hurt SHJ’s pride even more, so he ultimately still tosses his pair of perfectly good shoes he no longer wants despite wanting to give it to SHJ.
Once SHJ cools down a bit, and JYJ extends the olive branch, they both apologize to each other and come to an understanding. However, as is with a lot of human emotions... getting over it in the moment does not necessarily mean getting over it for good if you haven’t addressed the inner demons that spawned these bad feelings in the first place. And it’s not long before we see another issue pop up.
Tumblr media
At this point, SHJ has had to move into the side house (and hides it from JYJ). He finds the Gucci receipt in the pocket of the jacket JYJ lends him, and JYJ immediately tries to wave it off saying it was pretty much something his mom made him buy.
He’s clearly worried about SHJ feeling bad again. He definitely doesn’t seem to care for the materialistic things as much as his parents seem to, and he even seems a bit embarrassed by it. So when SHJ brings up his big new house, he immediately tries to make light of the situation by joking about how indeed, the one good perk is that he can no longer hear his parents fighting. So that’s clearly another thing that weighs on him. SHJ is seemingly rather sensitive to JYJ’s money situation, but JYJ doesn’t really want anything to do with it at all. And the thing he really wishes could be new and shiny - his family’s relationship - is not something their newfound money could buy. In fact, it’s possible he’s even a little envious of JYJ for having such a caring mom.
Tumblr media
Later, when he finds out SHJ has moved into the little side house / shack, he’s understandably upset that his best friend had chosen to hide this from him, that he didn’t see JYJ as understanding enough to be honest with him. He obviously also aches for SHJ’s circumstances.
Gift-giving is a big part of East Asian culture, but there’s casual gifts between friends, and there’s gifts between everyone else. When you’re gifting gifts to someone less close, you definitely don’t want to go for things too cheap, so people tend to skew for expensive and unnecessary things because it’s part of social gestures and having ‘face’. While well-intentioned, sometimes receiving (and continuing to receive) gifts, especially more expensive ones, can make the receiver feel like they have to reciprocate in kind and continue to stand on ceremony or otherwise have this formal distance between the other person. It’s a big game of chicken sometimes, but some people’s ‘face’ won’t allow them to take a more casual, intimate approach first. This is not the main reason why JYJ gets upset of course, but it is an element.
Tumblr media
All that compounded - he’s hurting already on SHJ’s behalf, yet his best friend seemingly doesn’t trust him enough and still tries to save face. And what’s worse, SHJ seems to think JYJ is materialistic and chases expensive things, when that couldn’t be farther from the truth - he dgafs about this kind of stuff. So to have his best friend essentially woefully misunderstand his character, continue to hold him at arm’s length / treat him with non-intimate courtesy, make sacrifices that hurt himself to give JYJ something that makes him seem materialistic and puts even more distance between them due to their economic gap... he’s pretty hurt and furious.
Of course, in reality, while SHJ not telling JYJ might be partly due to his pride, the expensive gift was purely because he was crushing hard. And cue the confession tumbling out.
-
So actually, I feel like there was a wonderful build-up of their tension, oriented not entirely on SHJ’s romantic feelings towards JYJ, but a very real issue between two people compounded by the complexity of romantic feelings.
Although I grew up away from the frontline influence of these sort of social gestures and expectations, it was still a big part of my upbringing. And I feel the agonizing indecisiveness over what to say, how to react, etc. You read intention into every gesture and word, because that’s how Asian culture operations.
I was rather surprised to see people comment that this drama was boring, but upon analysis, I did consider that part of it might be because a lot of this tension goes over the audience’s head if you weren’t brought up in that context. What seems like beautifully nuanced dance of well-intentions-turned-sour might come across as a jumbled mess of ‘being upset over unnecessary secrets’. That, coupled with some abrupt scenes that might not be tied in too smoothly, might have led to a lower evaluation.
Or it’s just my bias for a non-romantic-feelings based tension haha.

Anyway... curious what others think!

The Auditors crossed with Unicorn? double Shin Ha-kyun? sign me up 😏
that’s the spirit anon!
it’s a silly plot bunny, really. I’m waiting for The Auditors to end before I can properly formulate an actual timeline or anything. but it would be a crack fic with very small chapters set at Maccom.
Steve’s company is forced to request an external audit bc the IT department felt neglected somehow and Shin Cha Il gets sent there after he has left JU Constructions and has opened an independent audit firm by himself. clearly, someone who looks just like Steve stepping inside Maccom will certainly cause some drama at the company!
basically, I want different POVs and each character describing the situation will be reading the happenings of the plot with a different framing device in mind: Shin Cha Il lives in a corporate investigation universe; Steve in a romcom; Ashley in a ghotic thriller; Hwang Dae Woong in a romantic drama (derogatory); Goo Han Soo in a slice of life (erotic version) novel; Jay in a sci-fi scenario; Charles in a neverending absurdist skit; Jessi in an alien-abduction timeline; Carol in her bisexual awakening; Philip in a legal drama; Yoo Seo Jin on vacation; Monica in a musical; Lee Geun Ho in a noir...
sounds ambitious but in reality it’s pure crack and idk if I’ll ever have time to execute it so.. we’ll see!
(tagging @thepointlessmasterpiece on this! :D here you go!)
