I’m screaming on the inside!
I’m just like OMFG DID SENPAI NOTICE ME? DHJSHPS:F:FH:D:FD  dshadajsfhd;kgrbg
Around the 42:00 point, Mark mentions the Shadow Realm, ie. what I call the the empty space between worlds that Darkiplier inhabits. Plus, Mark adds a second later that it’s the “Upside Down,” ie. what HE calls Dark’s domain.
Dudes, he knows! Somehow, he knows!
But even if he hasn’t seen my work, which is far more likely than anything else, I’m still stoked over it. Eeeeeee... My terminology, by sheer dumb luck, has made its way to Markimoo!
That just totally made my month!

Spooks, Scares... and Spiders!: A Wadlow Sibling Fan-Fic
i wrote this spooky fic yesterday (october 30th) and it was fun to write. enjoy (and try not to scream)! :D
Tumblr media
when betty sees a spider in the basement, senpai and helen go down to check it out... only to get locked in! will they be able to get out and- most importantly- get rid of the spider?
It began with a scream piercing through the night.
Robert Wadlow looked up from his sewing in alarm. He listened for the sound, which he heard faintly from outside. He could see a storm brewing through the window, riling up the late October air.
It must’ve been the wind. Robert thought before resuming his embroidery.
He almost poked his eye out with the needle when the scream returned, this time louder than ever. As he put his sewing down, Helen and Eugene rushed to the living room.
“What was that?” Helen asked.
“It was a scream, you silly.” Eugene told her.
Helen rolled her eyes. “I know that, but who was it?”
“I thought it was the wind at first,” Robert said. “I guess it’s something else.”
The ‘something else’ was revealed a moment later.
“Betty!” Robert exclaimed, noticing his little sister’s pale face. “What’s wrong?”
“Th-There’s something down there.” Betty stuttered out.
“Down where?”
“In the basement!”
“There are lots of things in the basement,” Eugene said. “Boxes, more boxes, even more boxes-”
“It’s not boxes. It’s- It’s...” Betty gulped. “A spider!” At that moment, thunder boomed through the air, rattling the windows and Betty. She ran over to Robert and snuggled into his lap.
“A spider?” Helen asked. “That’s not a big deal. We’ll just toss him out.”
“It is a big deal. Almost as big as Robert,” Betty said with a frown. “You know I’m scared of them. And if I’m scared, then there’s no way I’m going to ‘toss one out’. It’s probably gonna toss me out!”
Robert put a comforting hand on Betty’s shoulder as he said, “We’ll toss it out for you if you’d like.”
Betty looked up at him. “I’d like that more than anything right now!”
The siblings followed Betty to the basement. Once they arrived, Robert and Helen went down the creaky wooden steps.
“You guys coming?” Robert asked Betty and Eugene, who were watching from the doorway.
“I’m not,” Betty replied. “I’m too scared.”
Helen smirked as she asked Eugene, “Are you scared, too?”
Eugene shook his head. “I’m just lazy.”
“You should probably come down,” Robert told Betty. “You can show us where the spider is.”
“Do I have to?” Betty asked. “Because I don’t want to.”
“You won’t be down here long. I promise I’ll protect you.”
Betty bit her lip before hesitantly walking down the stairs. “I’ll show you the spider, but that’s it,” she said, her voice wavering. “Then I’m-”
The door closed above her.
“-not in, not in!”
She rushed to the door and tried to open it, but it wouldn’t budge.
“We’re locked,” she said. “We’re really, really locked. With a spider. With a scary spider. A really, really scary spider that could come up here at any- EEEEK!”
Betty frantically ran down the stairs, landing on the floor in a heap. Helen helped her stand before marching upstairs. She gave the door a firm knock and frowned.
“Eugene! Unlock this door right now.”
There was no response.
“Eugene...”
Again, no response.
“Eugene Harold Wadlow, I swear to-”
“Please don’t say what I think you’re going to say,” Robert said. “It’s frowned upon.”
“But Eugene’s frowned upon right now.”
“Yes, but that doesn’t mean-”
“Alright, I won’t say it,” Helen looked down at the floor for a moment. “Um... something that’s not ‘dog’ backwards. You better open this door right now, Eugene, or else I’ll say it in reverse!”
The reply was silent.
“Gosh darn it,” Helen muttered, putting her back to the door. “We’re locked in.”
“That’s what I said earlier.” Betty said.
“I know, but now we’re really locked in.”
“It might help if we get some light in here,” Robert suggested. “I know the switch is around here somewhere...”
He moved his hand around the wall, feeling for the light switch. He found it after a few moments and flicked it on. A warm light quickly spread across the room.
“That’s better!” Robert said with a smile. “Now we can see.”
“And find that spider.” Betty added.
“And get out of here quicker,” Helen included. “I could probably pick the lock or something. I mean, I’ve never done it before, but it’s something I could try.”
“Let’s focus on the spider first,” Robert said. “Do you see it any-”
“AHHHH!” Betty screamed. “I see it, I see it!”
She climbed Robert like a mountain until she reached his shoulder. She held onto it as tight as possible.
“I didn’t know you could do that.” Robert said, dodging Betty’s dangling foot.
“Me neither!” Betty replied with a happy smile, which was quickly replaced with a terrified frown. “The spider’s really nearby. I felt it on my foot.”
“I don’t feel it on my foot, so it must not be that near.”
“You can’t feel your feet in the first place.” Helen pointed out.
“...You make a good point there.”
Helen looked at Betty and said, “You should probably get off so Robert can look.”
“But if I do, the spider might touch me again.” Betty said.
“And if you don’t, we’ll never find it.”
Betty sighed and slowly climbed down, with Robert (awkwardly) assisting her. Once she had two feet on the ground, she sat down on the stairs and hugged herself with a shiver. The wind was howling outside and thunder boomed every once in a while, which didn’t improve her mood.
While Betty tried to recover as best she could, Robert and Helen searched for the spider. Helen looked on the ground while Robert focused on the walls.
“You see him?” Betty asked.
“Not yet.” Robert replied softly.
Helen looked at Betty and asked with an amused smile, “So it’s a ‘he’ now?”
“I was thinking it might make me feel better,” Betty said. “But it only makes it worse.”
A minute later, Robert stopped searching and sat down with his back to the wall.
“What’s up?” Helen asked.
“My shoe,” Robert responded. “The laces are getting untied and I don’t want to trip. It’s already dangerous, but having all these boxes around makes it worse.”
He untied his right shoe and was pulling on the laces when Betty screamed again.
“EEEEEEE! THE SPIDERRRR!”
The spider was crawling on Helen’s shoe.
Betty snatched Robert’s shoe, taking it off his socked foot in a flash. She threw it onto the spider, repeatedly smashing the little bug. Robert and Helen looked at each other in total surprise. After a dozen and a half smacks, Betty held the shoe up.
The spider was no more.
“There!” Betty said cheerfully. “That did the trick!”
Robert and Helen were silent.
“...That sure did, huh?” Helen said before asking Robert, “Right?”
“Sure.” was all Robert could say.
Just then, a light appeared from up above. Addie peered down at the siblings with a worried frown as she asked, “What’s going on? I heard screaming.”
“That was Betty,” Helen said as she walked up the stairs. “She’s a spider killer now.”
“She’s a- what?”
Helen reached the hallway and went to Eugene’s room, where he was reading. She took off her shoe and put it on his lap along with Robert’s shoe.
“Clean this up for me, okay?” she asked sweetly before glaring darkly. “That’s what you get for locking us up, you jerk.” Her sweetness returned as she walked out of the room. “Happy early Halloween!”
Eugene looked at the shoes and frowned in disgust when he saw the perished bug.
Meanwhile, Robert and Betty were coming out of the basement.
“What in the world happened down there?” Addie asked.
“Betty will tell you,” Robert said. “How did you get us out?”
“Harold Jr. told me and I unlocked it for him. It’s harder than it looks.”
“I saved you, Big Brother!” Harold Jr. said, running over to Robert.
“Yes, you did!” Robert agreed as he picked Harold Jr. up. “You were right to go tell Mother.”
Harold Jr. grinned and looked down. “Where’s your other shoe, Big Brother?”
Robert looked at Betty with a smile. “Let’s just say it’s quite the spooky story!”

Look! Another comic! This time I got the inspiration from an ask on @deafmic s blog. I’m a big fan of Aizawa adopts Shouto (and Shinsou and Eri).
art updates will probably become less frequent from now on since I just started year 11 but I’ll continue to do my best!
