anyway i can just imagine after that whole deal of getting rid of the body he comes home and climbs into bed with you. buries his face in your neck and holds you tight. when you ask him what's wrong he doesn't answer, just kisses your forehead and pulls you closer. while you drift off to sleep, he actually prays for the first time in a long while that this mess won't come back on you because you don't deserve it and he doesn't want to lose you, not the first person to really care about him :(

She then took her seat as the cell door was closed and firmly locked with ice magic behind her by Ice King, crossing her arms in frumpy protest.

“Now, you just sit there and get yourself all dolled up! The ceremony will start within the hour!” Ice King said, his voice honied with cheerfulness.

“An hour!?” Bubble exclaimed with surprise. “But you usually send out Wedding invitations when you capture me! Which takes several days of effort from, buying me precious time to escape! You have so many guests to invite!”

“Yeah, see, I decided that after the hundredth time of you being late, I went ahead and sent those out already! Because I sent NONE! This wedding ceremony is gonna be private this time! We’re doin it New Vegas style babe!” Said the sly King, knowing he rigged this game from the start.

“Crap.” The Princess needed to think of something. While the marriage would never be recognized by anyone in their right mind, especially considering she was the highest, slightly disputed authority in all the Land of Ooo, she had no desire to indulge the flippant freak in his twisted fantasy. It was embarrassing as it is.

“Oh Gunter!~” The Ice King lovingly hummed. “Where are you!?~”

“Wenk wenk!” Wenked the wenker as it waddled into view.

“There you are, come to Daddy, Gunsy!” Said Ice King. “C’mere!”

“Wenk wenk!” Gunter said as he hopped along adorably.

Ice King picked up the Penguin and gave him a darling hug. “There’s my beautiful child that I love! MWAH!” He kissed the Penguin.

“Awww.” Said Bubblegum under her breathe. She would never admit it, but despite him being a Monster, the Ice King’s obvious love for his Penguins was one of the few redeeming qualities she admired and one of the few things she enjoyed seeing.

Granted she would still warcrime him, but that didn’t stop the sight of him being cute with his pet being slightly heartmelting. Though, Gunter was a strange mischievious creature. He was a Penguin, virtually identical to every other mostly sapient aquatic bird in the Ice Kingdom, but she knew Gunter was a different creature to the others. In fact, despite his cute exterior, she knew Gunter liked to cause trouble, breaking things, smashing bottles, playing with stuff, or even helping the Princess escape for more ice cream cake, which she often tried to lowball him on, usually failing.

But there was something oddly... deeper about Gunter she couldn’t quite put a finger on. Like a shadow in back of her mind was eating at her very soul. Whenever she looked away from Gunter, she always felt like she caught something out of the corner of her eye that made her look back at him.

When that happened, a slight chill went through her. She always chalked it up to Penguins being weird and always dismissed it as her mind playing tricks on her. Which was ridiculous unto itself. Might have just been the Ice King’s Magic at play. Princess Bubblegum knew Magic was scary biz at times.

“See that Gunsy! It’s mommy! Wave to her!” The Ice King took a flipper and waved it at Bubblegum, much to her chagrin despite the cuteness of the old man playing with his penguin. “Yes! Wave to Mommy in her cage! Wanna know why she’s in her cage? Cuz she's been a very very naughty girl! That’s right Gunsy!~ If only we had a way to make her behave! ...Oh wait! We DO have a way to make her not only behave but LOVE me too! Without all the constant romantic dating! Plus, I’ll save cash from said dating! Bonus!”

“What the floop are you gabbin on about now, you Übergroße Blaubeere?” Demanded Bubblegum in annoyance.

“Why...” The Ice King said as he began shifting his free hand through his robes while holding the Penguin. “Hold on.” A moment passed and he still had not produced anything. “Where did I put that thingy? I hope I didn’t drop it somehow; it was expensive! Froze so many dudes to get it-AHA! THIS!”

The Ice King held up what looked like a crown. “Oh... a crown... I’m not wearing that.” Said an unimpressed Princess. The crown looked somewhat similar to Ice Kings, only it had a single blue gem set in it.

“Wha? This ain’t no crown! It’s a gorget!” Said IK, who noticed it was upside down and turned it right-side up in his hand. “See! You wear it on your neck! And you shall look quite fetching I might add! Oh and it’s enchanted! The man who kisses you while you are wearing it shall cause you to fall madly in love with him, hehehehe, with emphasis on the MADLY part~”

“Uh...” Bubblegum felt a tinge of concern at the thought. “F-fine, I won’t wear it then!”

“Oh, see, that’s the neat part! You WILL wear it!”

“No, I ain’ gunna! So... buzz off!”

“HAH! No, see, it’s got another magical enchantment!” IK said as he put Gunter down, he then opened the jewelery, pointing it at the Princess. “Which is THIS!” He let it go and the gorget flew to the Princesses neck, snapping around her throat and locking in place as it knocked her out of her chair onto the floor of ice.

“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!?” Demanded PB.

“Uh... made you wear it! Like I told ya! With Magic? Sheesh, I thought you were supposed to be the smart Princess! Keep up!” IK scoffed with disappointment as he leaned on the bars of the prison. “Now, when the-”

“공주야 어디있니?!” Shouted an entirely unknown entity that nobody could possibly guess unless the narrator told you who it was.

“What in buttery goodness?!” Said IK as he turned to lock eyes with Lady Rainicorn. “Oh chitlins, it’s that... surprisingly carnivorous spaghetti rainbow noodle thingy.”
