#semi-spurred on by seeing art which contains references to multiple hero incarnations

nothing hits me harder than ghiralink aus where Ghirahim had fallen love with a previous incarnation of the hero (either the first hero or the hero of the sky), and ends up with another incarnation long after the hero he loved has died. and he clearly misses *his* hero, he can’t admit to himself, but the things he says have him making comparisons between the old hero and the new one, or accidentally calling the new one by a pet name (cough cough *skychild* cough).

whenever i think about getting back into writing i think about exploring Ghirahim dealing with things not being the way they were before and him slowly learning to accept that. however, i know for a fact i am would not be able to as a fellow being unable to let go of nostalgia. id just write it as a bad dream and have ghirahim wake up with *his* link beside him or something lol
