(have been looking at gif sets- looks like the ribbon shop scene and then one of the scenes where Charles+Darcy visit longbourn) and like..... god dream outfit tbh and truly my (subconscious) inspo for my current outfit (short sleeveless black corduroy dress with faux-corset accent at the bust with a short sleeved collared shirt unbuttoned beneath it. my new favorite dress it has like a white and lace hemmed underskirt that just barely peeks out and two lovely little pockets! augh!) and like.... yeah

O i really agree with your coworker about the shots in the newer seasons 🙊…. i dont work on sets so idk if it just takes longer to film things that way? or it just makes it less “streamlined”?? but i really miss how experimental they were with it in s1 🥲 like they even made the gang walking into the bar look interesting i loved it 💔

th way we shoot sunny today is v much like a well oiled machine. they kno their shots, they kno their setups, we literally get out of ther n 6hrs on stage days (which is unheard of n this industry of 12-16hr workdays. im shocked to do 10hrs, let alone 6).

every episode we’ve done where we did special shots, like the bowling ep’s bowling ball pov or the roller rink ep’s shot of mac playing the arcade game, took SO LONG to setup it was insane, and then they use them for a couple seconds after editing. i just dont think they usually find them worth the sunk cost

but i agree i do wish they had more fun shooting around the bar again, we’re the most static there, but that’s definitely where they also would have the most potential to fuck around more with it…
