Zaz! Its my turn to ask you about the bird man 🫵 which of you is more likely to steal the other's clothes? & is there a fav item in particular?

Oh we both chronically steal each other's clothes lmao My irl go-to outfit is khaki cargo pants, black croptop and boots- So we accidentally mix up our clothes all the time. I'm not gonna complain if Hawks pulls on a too tight pair of pants tho ^^ Though, most often we tend to swap jewelry. For avian and draconic hybrids heteromorphs- shiny pieces of each other center us through the day. Every time our eye catches the light hitting the facets, it remind us of the other. Then suddenly the distance doesn't seem quite so far, ya?

I tend to steal Keigo's clothes more often, mainly when I wanna grab his attention. Wearing nothing but the garnet nipple piercings that match his earrings and one of his spare jackets on the balcony does the trick pretty fecking well (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

nectarine: do you and your F/O live together? If so, what does your living space look like?

I admit- our apartment doesn't seem like much at first. The walls are a plain bright white, flooring is that pale grey fake hardwood, even the furniture is all neutral. All in order to let the stones shine. I have display cases of minerals and crystals, that cast rainbows across the apartment when the sky is clear. Keigo jokingly calls it my 'hoard', but honestly half of my collection is from him! The sea-glass suncatcher on the balcony is made completely from pieces he brought me back from his missions. (At first we jokingly call them the Courtship Cases and the dumb nickname just stuck ^^;)

key lime: how would you describe your self-ship’s aesthetic?

Black and Gold: A black night filled with glittering gold stars. Charred pottery held firm by metallic lacework. We've both been burned in the past, have a little more darkness in our past- and we've both risen out of those ashes stronger.

Full disclosure- most of this probably won't make sense until you're later in the series so apologies in advance! Tried to keep it vague enough to avoid spoilers

7) Romantic dinners at fancy restaurants or take out dinners on the couch? Definitely take-out from mom&pop places, eaten on the balcony under the stars I think. I don't see Keigo relaxing in a restaurant where he can be mobbed by people in a small enclosed space. And since my OC is a civilian helping run a conbini, she knows all the hole-in-the-wall places to order out.

8) constantly bragging about dating each other or keeping the relationship relatively secretive? Oh we both brag to each other's inner circle, but in terms of a public relationship they both keep it very close to the vest. My OC does everything she can to keep her head low to keep her daughter from a previous relationship safe, and with Keigo's position in the Hero Commission I don't think he'd want to draw attention to them either.

11) Calling each other by their names, plain and simple, or calling each other really flowery pet names? Dozens of nicknames. I think Keigo and Zazzi just call each other whatever pops into their head at the time, I think with his like of shiny objects (dude has big rocks in his ears and his updated uniform has huge rupees on the collar) he'd call his partner 'gem' or something similar. After the ordeal with his injuries, Zaz calls him 'Fenice' jokingly but the nickname sticks.

17) Love at first sight or slow burn? Slowburn. Keigo is a customer of the conbini for a long time, but both of them are wary of getting into relationships. They're just good friends for while, until they start opening up to each other after Keigo gets his injuries. 20) Value anniversaries/important relationship dates or nah? Yes, all of the major ones. Major milestones and holidays, they both like to go all out for each other to make the day perfect. I also I think they like to remind each other of the ones that get replaced like first kiss, first date, etc too between kisses after a long day. But every 'small' thing is remembered in some way.

7. Who makes the other laugh more?

Keigo: Me, I never fail to make her laugh when she needs it.

Zaz: Using feathers is absolutely cheating!

Keigo: Don't need 'em. One well timed geology pun, and you're doubled over wheezing.

Zaz: *trying not to laugh* ok, I have a weakness for bad jokes.

12. Who's more protective? Keigo: Zazzi, hands down/ Zaz: Keigo, definitely.

Zaz: *laughing* are you kidding? I have a feather “bangle” just in case of emergencies that proves my point

Keigo: An' to a certain point I am- but if I get injured or her daughter Kohaku is anywhere near a fight, then her feral switch gets flipped and nothing will save ya at that point.

Zaz:…ok maybe you got a point there.

20. Who infodumps and who listens with heart eyes?

Zaz: Oh..definitely me. I've, erm, got a bit of a penchant for minerology and gemology. I can go on about rocks and gems for hours.

Keigo: If I happen to see a particularly nice stone while I'm on patrol, I'll bring it back for her little hoard. It's pretty damn cute watching her try to identify it. She gets really animated and starts rattling off properties about what she's holding.

Zaz: And the sea glass! Keigo brings me back sea shells and sea glass when he's on missions by the coast. I made a suncatcher for our balcony out of what he's brought me and it looks beautiful on nice days. Makes it easier when he's away.

15. Who’s clingier? Keigo: Them, by a long shot. Not that I mind, but we can't go anywhere without Zaz holding my hand. Newspapers probably have enough photos of them nuzzling my neck to open a gallery.

Me: Him, hands down. He may appear to be mr. professional in public- but at home?? The moment I get back, he's running a bath for the both of us. With how much he loves to cuddle with me sitting on his lap and his arms around my waist, I go weeks without sitting on the couch cushions! I can't leave the house without a few inert red down-feathers stuck to my outfit because he so clingy at home. And I wouldn't change it for the world
